The staff was friendly. The drinks and food were great! The environment was lovely! The music was awesome! Nothing but good vibes.
I was worried from other reviews, however I had no issues in my personal experience. Services was fast, less than 2 minutes and the Thai tea is good. I liked the cup style--although you can't punch through the top which means you probably can't put it in the cup holder of your car, but for me I'm okay with waiting until I get home. Maybe they should redesign the lid to accommodate for this? Other than that, the advantage of the cup is that it feels more sturdy and less likely to leak compared to the usual boba cup sealed with plastic.
Cool lightning in here. Great Ambience and They have board games. Drinks come in bottle or cup. If you order larger size it is a bottle. Sugar level and ice level can be adjusted for drinks. They have snacks like popcorn chicken, Bo kho and other Vietnamese dishes here. Good place to study and hang out with friends! Plenty of seating. A lot of variety in drinks. Service is quick. Not any complaints.

I ordered the Galaxy Soursop nitro tea. Overall, it was pretty good. The drink is very vibrant and pretty sweet, even at 50% sugar. The soursop chunks were a bit tart and chewy, this made the drink more like a fruity dessert drink than a nitro tea.
I hate leaving bad reviews, but... I first discovered R&B Tea at the Valley Fair Mall, and it was love at first sip. When I heard they opened a Milpitas location, I was thrilled--it's much closer to where my family lives, and I made it a regular stop every time I visit the Bay. However, lately, I've noticed a decline in both the service speed and the quality of the drinks. During my most recent visit, I was the only customer in the store before a wave of others came in. Despite this, it took over 20 minutes for them to prepare my one drink, which is incredibly frustrating. I used to work in food service, so I get that things can get busy, but this was an extreme wait time when it was quiet. Additionally, the taste of my drink hasn't been consistent with the one I enjoyed at the Valley Fair location, even though I always order the same thing. It's disappointing, as I've always loved this place, but it seems like quality and service have taken a hit. I hope they can get back to what made them great.
Bought 2 drinks last 1/7/26, A Nitro House Coffee and A Jasmine Nitro Green Milk Tea. It's both for me. I had the coffee first and it was good like usual. But when I had the Jasmine Nitro Green Milk Tea after lunch time my first sip I had to spit. It had a foul taste like a spoiled milk/half and half or whatever they mixed with the green tea. I've had it before I know what it's supposed to taste like. I've been going to R&B for a long time so I held off on writing review so I went there in person and told them about the bad batch of drink. They didn't apologize at all or offered a courtesy drink to replace what I had to toss in trash. It's gonna be while before I go to this place again.
The egg pudding in my milk tea was spoiled. I'm familiar with the normal taste since it's my usual topping. This one tasted off, and the milk tea looked strange unless stirred. I told them, they checked and compared it with theirs, tasted mine, apologized, and replaced it. Truffle Fries were too salty as well. We won't be coming back here.
First time trying this place on a Friday about an hour before closing. Wasn't sure what to order, or not sure what we were in the mood for, since they had a good selection of items. We used their self service, so we could scroll through the menu at leisure. Liked how they have finger foods that go well with drinking milk tea (waffles, fries, and even ramen!)z I would give them 4.5 stars, but our order of 4 drinks, fries, and a waffle took longer then expected. I know there was only one worker making drinks, and I don't think our drinks were too complicated (a strawberry milk tea, a nitro Ube coffee, a mango slush, and an oolong tea). But it did take long and felt bad that the people who came after us had to wait pretty long for their 2 drinks. But good drinks, and a cool place to hang out with enough seating, and they have games to play. Hopefully the next time we come, the wait to get our drinks isn't too long.

This place has a very nice interior! Drinks are decent and provide a nice pick me up. Service was quite slow despite there only being one other person waiting for a drink. Their strong point is the interior where you can comfortably vibe. read more
I got the sour sop tea and it was okay......it was chunks of sour sop but wasn't that strong so maybe it's frozen and thawed? The tea was pretty light and didn't have much tea flavor either. Overall I'd probably not come back again.... read more

Came in and expected a smaller tea spot, it was pretty spacious. Nice roomy seats and the ambiance and service were great. Quick simple, drinks weren't too sweet. Played a lot of old schools songs, owner said he might keep it vinahouse, Let's go! read more

They ran out of boba, and sugar when I came. Instead of replenishing, they gave me a half serving of boba, and watered down "tea" with no sugar, and much more ice than I ordered. read more

I always go to this place for this drink Hawaiian fruit tea. However, my drinks were never get fill up to the cup and why. It happened multiple time that why I wrote this review??? Is it how it should be?? Seriously It's was a DoorDash delivery. read more
Wanted to try the spot since I like their East San Jose location a bunch. More menu options than that of the East San Jose location and trying the nitro milk tea option was neat. Tasted pretty decent! I couldn't tell too much of a difference from regular milk tea though. I also got the Ube Brown Sugar at 100% sweet and that was too much for me. Next time definitely ordering lower sweetness, otherwise it was pretty good! read more
3.5 stars. This is the first time I have tried this location. I've been to the other locations (Silvercreek and Sunnyvale). The place is larger than the others and has a pretty good amount of seats. Clean, nice, and festive decor. The menu seems to have a lot more drink selections, food, and snacks at this location. Two kiosks to order from. Soursop Nitro Tea: Refreshing and fruity. If you love fruit tea and nitro drinks, then I'd definitely recommend coming here. I'm not sure how the reviews are so low but my drinks always come out good. Before visiting the location the first time, I've only ordered through DoorDash. To also preference, I always ordered my drinks at the lowest sweetness level (25%) with half or full ice. I also mostly order fruit teas. I love N7's nitro fruit teas and so I'm glad this location has different flavors from N7. They have a lot of unique fruit flavors like dragonfruit, durian, kumquat, soursop, etc. It is Vietnamese owned and so I presume that's why these popular fruits are on the menu here. They also have sugarcane drinks which is amazing! I definitely do recommend lowering the sweetness level because even at 50%, it's way too sweet imo. The interior is absolutely amazing compared to other R&B's I've been to. The space is super big and there's plenty of seating for large groups. They have wifi too so I'm sure it's perfect for working as well. They have board games which is nice! I think if it was not in the area it's in, it would be a more popular spot to visit. I've never had their food before so I can't speak on that but it's nice they have a wide variety of snacks and food. read more

R&B Tea-Nitro opens where Tea Yomi was. Some upgrades noticeable. Various seating inside. A few tables outside. Drill: order on kiosk, pay, retrieve drink when name called. -kiosk nonresponsive. Difficult to order. Associate declined to help. Says to wait for it to work. No doubt she's aware kiosk is faulty... Offerings: milk tea, brown sugar, coffee, matcha, slushie, fresh fruit tea, fresh tea, yakult, stormy, nitro coffee, eats, blends, cane... Drink: Nitro cold brew w/salted cream (6). 1/2 ice/sugar -shook it up many times, initial sips very salty -last part of drip moderately sweet, noticed jell on bottom which probably had brown sugar infused. *no description of drink mentions jelly. Seating: Such a cool space! Lots of comfy seating. The boba shop is more spacious than other boba shops that I've been to! WiFi: Free WiFi. There is also a good amount of outlets. This R&B is so different from other locations, the menu is massive and has so many unique drinks. We got the mango fresh milk with no sugar which was perfect sweetness and the spicy popcorn chicken which was good as well. The ambiance is pretty cool, would be a great place to hang out with friends read more

I was so pissed when I saw hair inside my cup. I ordered my favorite drink Dragon fruit stormy with boba. I was enjoying my drink sitting down in front of the tv watching and for some reason i looked at my cup and try to rub the hair and it wasn't moving!!! I looked again and tried to move the hair. It wasn't moving. And then it dawned on me that I drank the whole thing and noticed there was someone's hair inside my drink I felt so nasty. I called the store and told them how nasty their drink was. Unsanitary! They asked if I want to have another drink. lol no thanks! read more

During the day is daytime. You can pay cash here instead of the terminal. Accepts Apple Pay and Android pay. It's just you gotta have a name and phone number. *Note: they subscribe you to newsletters without permission, not cool* Ambiance; It's easy to talk to here and study. Music isn't always loud to block your voice out. It has a lot of stuff around, the nitro bar and coffee is quiet when it's made here. You can get stuff done here. I don't mind the new seating and good lighting for photos. Workers here makes it good here. As a franchise, this spot it's a late night spot. I would recommend here, when new stuff is released. Located within a melting pot of a plaza. Very nice interior, club-like scene, and well ventilated. The service was quick, drink quality is pristine. Went with some of the other recommendations and got the egg creme boba latte. Smooth and the sweetness wasn't too overpowered with the syrups. Boba had a fun chewy experience! read more
R&B Tea is one of my favorite chains so when I saw this location in passing, I had to give it a try- plus it's a "Nitro" which adds to their menu making this location unique. I loved all the bright interior decor and the variety of items on the menu. I used a kiosk to order and got a yakult watermelon drink with boba, less sweet. It was refreshing and delicious, I'm excited to try more of their menu! read more

Recyclable bottles (number 1) and nitro milk tea. Interesting concept and great tea flavors. The boba also have great texture and just sweet enough. The oolong milk tea and classic milk tea are good choices for first timers. At 70% sweetness, they're plenty tasty and you can still taste the rich tea flavor. What is a turn off, however, is that they actually charge you more for ice reduction. It's scaled so if you want less ice, say 50%, they charge you 50 cents. No ice is a whopping dollar more. As a new customer, this alone was nearly enough reason for me to almost abandon this place and choose another boba spot. After all, it's quite a saturated market here in the East Bay/South Bay. 'Nickel and dime'-ing your customers is not the way to win over new customers nor is it a way to bring back return customers. I would be curious to compare the iced and non iced options to see the difference. Nevertheless the bottles are interesting. They are capped with what looks like a soda can top where you have to flip to break the seal. And because of the material used for the bottles, they're sturdier and easier to hold. They're packaged securely in their little compartmentalized plastic bags too so no fear of mishaps in transit. They also serve a number of different items including fruit teas, snacks like chicken, calamari, and takoyakis, and desserts like cakes and pudding. I didn't get to try them this time around but when I'm in the area again, I might consider giving those a chance...unless I'm turned off by their extra no ice charge again... Overall, great concept, good quality, and environmentally conscious. Just on the pricier end in an area that is filled with competent competitors. read more

Do not waste ur money on the chicken popcorn as it is so poor quality and quantity: The picture can speak for itself: *chicken pieces are tiny compare to other places like bread crumbs * but they generous on salt, very salty Not worth my money, go to Shilin or something for twice as much of chicken and good flavor! wifi works but if you're trying to focus on something; the music here is as loud as if you're in a club so not the best choice in my opinion
