After picking up some buns at Mian Bao House, we stopped by here on our way back to the car because hubby noticed they had some pretty good deals going on. They currently have a summer special; 2 drinks for $8, which sounded like a great deal. We both saw the lychee iced tea and thought it would be perfect since we wanted something refreshing. Unfortunately, when we got to the kiosk to order, it was already sold out. They were also sold out of the Passionfruit Lemon with Jelly, which would have been my second choice. I ended up ordering the 3 Guys, their signature milk tea with bubbles, pudding, and grass jelly. Hubby went with the Strawberry Candy Pop. The place is decently large with a good amount of seating. While we waited, we sat down and tried some of the buns we had just picked up a few stores down. Things got a little awkward when our drinks were ready. Hubby didn't grab the receipt from the kiosk, so when they called out a number, we weren't sure if it was ours. I told the employee what we had ordered, and he said it must be our order. However, when he mentioned it to the other person working there, who may have been the manager or owner, he seemed skeptical. I explained that we didn't get the receipt, but he grabbed the strawberry drink back, which felt a little odd, and then walked away to do something else. The 3 Guys drink itself was okay, and I do think their specials are a really good value. Unfortunately, the interaction at the end was a little off-putting and left us feeling uncomfortable. This was our first time visiting this boba place here , and we're so glad we stopped by! We were just looking for something refreshing to drink when we noticed how cute and inviting the store looked. They also had a great promotion2 drinks for $8 so we couldn't resist trying it.My friend and I ordered the 3 Guys Milk Tea and the Taro Milk Tea. Both were delicious, but the 3 Guys was my favorite. The boba was soft, fresh, and had the perfect chewy texture. For an Asian bubble tea beverage place, this spot is convenient to find and beverage menu is decent. It's in the same plaza as Lion's supermarket in Milpitas. The place turned out to be much more spacious than expected. They have a self service kiosk too. I came here for the current promotion value buy 1 get 1 free deal which lasts through next week, March 31, 2026. I wasn't disappointed at all. The staff greeted me and I got my order quickly. Chinese employees. Not many people were inside for such a large place with good spots to sit and relax. I'm really interested in coming here when they have promotional deals now. I ordered 2 quantities, large size mango pomelo sago smoothie which is usually $7.50 each. Today, including taxes, I paid $8.20 total for two large cups. Great deal and it was fruity fresh too. Loved the tiny and soft chewy sago and flavors. Great Asian cold beverage. You really need to check for promotions like this one which was worth the value. Good quality taste. Stopped by for post AYCE dessert! Pleasantly surprised to find out they were having a buy one get one free deal for specific drinks. When you enter, you can order at the register or you can use the ordering kiosk. The workers were easy to talk to but I always enjoy a quiet kiosk ordering experience so we opted in for self order! We got the Mango Pomelo Sago with 30% sweetness & the Peach Matcha! While we were waiting for our drinks, we made ourselves comfy at one of the tables. There were cute boba themed paintings and they even had a fun display stand for all of their merch! Also, you definitely won't miss their very bright neon logo. The drinks came out super quick. I always really enjoy when boba drinks have defined layers when they're served. It makes it an even more fun experience to shake it up before you pop the straw in! The mango pomelo sago came with generous portions of each ingredient! Shake it well so you get an even sip of with each ingredient each time. The mangos were a tad bit too sweet for my liking but the pomelo helped to balance that out. The drink as a whole was delicious! One of my new favorite mango pomelo sago drinks, compared to other nearby shops at least. The peach matcha on the other hand was really sweet. I don't believe there were any options to adjust it. Came here with a small group and we all ordered the Brown Sugar Jasmine Pearl Milk Tea since they had a special on this for $3.99. The boba was well made, very chewy, but the drink itself was essentially diluted milk. No taste of brown sugar or the jasmine tea. We were all very disappointed especially since we all had CoCo in Taiwan and had such a positive experience. Like other reviews have mentioned, the kiosk is out of order. MAJOR HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS! Being able to watch them make beverages no one was washing their hands, woman on register was currently sick had a face mask on and was coughing on her hand, touching her hair and labeling stickers on cups stacking them inside each other which contaminated the inside of all cups. Not once did she wash her hands, after seeing this I pointed it out and someone else made my order yet she continued to make beverages without washing her hands. The drinks are on the sweet side so I would recommend dialing down the sugar for those who don't like super sweet beverages. Topping selections were also acceptable. Prices are standard compared to most boba shops. This store is located in the Lion's Supermarket plaza so there is a large lot but the parking does fill up on the weekends. Spacious and clean. I ordered the 3 Guys boba. The 3 Guys boba consists of milk tea, grass jelly, pudding, and boba. The drink tasted pretty standard but I still enjoyed the jelly and pudding. I've been really into eating grass jelly so I wanted to try it in a drink. It was pretty good and didn't have a strong bitter earthy taste. It was just bouncy and soft. Overall the team selection was pretty good, the boba was good (not overcooked). The service was quick and courteous, they even suggested ice and sweetness levels based upon customer feedback. The inside has lots of space, but there are no tables or chairs to sit, so be prepared to get your drink and go. This CoCo Bubble Tea is located in the City Square Center. Parking may be hit or miss here, as this plaza gets pretty busy. The exterior is simple, while the interior is bright; clean; and modern. Not much service, as ordering is on the kiosk and there is only one kiosk, so it may take awhile when other customers are scrolling through the menu on the kiosk. It looks like they could take orders at the front counter if they want to, but they do not and there are usually three people working. I have been coming here once in a while when I am in the area, as this has been one of my favorite spots in the area. I have been a couple of their other locations, but this particular one was one of their better locations. I have been getting their jasmine milk tea with boba and grass jelly here and the drink tasted pretty good. One downside to this location is how long it takes for them to make drinks, even with three employees. Usually there are only 2 - 3 drinks ahead of me and I only order 1 drink, but somehow it still takes them almost half an hour. About 3.5 stars for the overall experience, but bumped up to 4 stars for the taste of my drink. read more

I tried going here a few more times to see if there could be any redemption. Sadly my impression has decreased to 2 stars due to an issue with the milk tea. Why is it the pearls are so clumpy to the point it can't be separated? Sure I tried mixing ( a lot ) and shaking more than most. I don't know what this place is doing. Like other previous comments it seems like many of their drinks are very diluted and watered down. Also the venue is so big for a boba place but they're not utilizing it. I've had CoCo before and it's not by any means a newer brand (maybe newer up here in the Bay but it's been around in SoCal for quite some time now). Self service kiosk was down. Lots of room in the front of house but only one table which employees were sitting at. Couldn't make their "CoCo cake" because they ran out of cake batter. It was still early evening in the day too, no reason to be running out like that. I think the management is lacking here and they're not ensuring proper quality and brand standards. read more

They had a BOGO (buy one get one free) promotion going on for a pearl milk tea and tropical special, so we got that, plus a grapefruit yakult drink. While the tropical special and grapefruit yakult were good, the pearl milk tea I had was pretty bad. It had way too much cream and not enough tea. The very light color of the drink was a giveaway. I was so excited when I first found out CoCo was opening a location in Milpitas, but have ended up so disappointed after visiting a good handful of times. The other locations I've tried in SF and SJ have been consistent with my favorite milk tea, but this location produces such a diluted variation. I've even tried their fruit-based teas to see if those would be better, but alas still the same. This location is always out of stock for a lot of drinks regardless of when you go. The staff is always friendly and parking is plentiful, so I hope they turn things around quickly! I came on a Monday at 1 PM, and was the only customer in the store during the entire time I was waiting for my order. They were out of the Tropical Special (which I found strange since it's one of their recommended drinks and it was relatively early in the day) so I ordered a Mango Green Tea instead with 70% sugar and less ice. It took around 5 minutes for them to make the drink and call my name. The store definitely has a more quiet environment, but I enjoyed seeing all their merchandise that they sell while I was waiting. The Mango Green Tea was okay. It was very sweet and had a good mango taste to it. The only reason I wouldn't give this drink a five-star is because the drink tasted like mango juice, not mango tea. I'm sure if I asked for 50% sugar, I'd only taste more water rather than a stronger tea taste. Overall, an average boba experience. If I wanted a refreshing juice, I'd come again because the price isn't too bad :) But for higher quality tea, I'd go somewhere else. read more

A young man was at the counter and he was very polite and made the drinks very good with low sugar and less ice as I had requested and really enjoyed the drinks. On April 13, 2025 at around 5:40 pm I decided to visit COCO and ordered two large Sago Taro Mil tea, with low sugar and less ice. A young lady and a young man was at the counter and the young lady took my order and entered as normal ice and normal sugar as shown on the receipt. Unfortunately, this time the Sago Taro Mil tea was horrible, tasteless, too watery and lots of sugar. I brough this issue to the young lady's attention but she didn't offer replacement plus with a very entitled attitude yet extremely poor customer service. Was walking by and this place just opened today July 13th 2024, they had a two for one special so I thought I'd try it. Not bad I got the lowest sugar level and the lowest ice level tastes pretty good. They didn't have any chairs or tables yet it's kind of a soft opening and they don't have a sign that says grand opening but it's open. I guess another bubble tea place is good for competition, there must be at least five different places selling bubble tea on this corner of Milpitas boulevard and Dixon landing at the 2 different Asian malls. read more

However, this place is really uninviting - very unfriendly service (no smile, difficult to ask questions, barely want to interact with people, answered phone in front of customers) and no music.
