They were offering a BOGO on Doordash for a Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. My wife and I got one each. *Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea (3.5/5). We got less sweet and less ice. It was pretty good. The Boba was soft yet chewy. I liked it.

Simple foods. Very tiny retail spot with few tables/chairs. Taste here is 5/5 delicious and absolutely legit for convenient Taiwanese bento box options, fried snacks, other snacks, beverages, and more. Yes, I've had a few items and all of it was deliciously good, much better than expected. Self order at kiosk. Not too expensive. Beverage sizes are generous. Clean packing. Very good menu selections with photos. Small, but good place to grab and go. Cashier staff is always friendly and welcoming. She's quick and efficient, but there are times when orders can get queued and long wait times during rush hours. 5/5 Mango Milk Tea 5/5 Peach Smoothie w/Lychee Jelly 4/5 Coconut Fresh Milk (drink it fresh or else it tastes different the next day after refrigeration) 5/5 Fried Shrimp (wow, batter was not too thick or salty, so it's just the way I like it) 5/5 Popcorn Chicken 5/5 Teriyaki Chicken (this one surprised me because their teriyaki ingredient was very good tasting and chicken was soft/tender) Pretty good here. Parking lot is shared with gym folks and others, so it does get busy at times. Quiet around lunch hours. Small place feels quiet, low key, and never too crowded inside on weekdays. It's the perfect spot to swing by after the gym or while ordering pizza at Little Caesars. I would keep coming back if revisiting the neighborhood surrounding areas. Don't forget to check out their discounts or promotions prior to ordering. Positive feelings. Love this small place. Perfect for school aged children & young adults too.

Great food, nice ambiance, good service. I definitely recommend trying them. A lot on the menu. Made fresh.

Food: They're having a special on specific bento boxes. The fried fish and pork cutlet were tasty, and everything in the bento was seasoned, which is kind of rare. My brother and his girlfriend love their protein boba shakes. Service: self service: order on the touch screen then wait for them to call your number. Ambiance: quaint little clean shop. Definitely a mom and pop shop feeling. I haven't seen it get crowded, but I have seen a lot of people do take-out. tldr: fair priced bentos that taste good. They also have protein boba drinks (taro is the best).

Updated review, I'm willing to vouch honey express as a key location for Boba Milk Tea. I swung by here multiple times for a couple of key reasons. What looks like to be a small family joint is compensated for great value. The prices here are absolutely incredible. Every single item is affordable. To the point where it's relieving to know you aren't spending that much money? I'm always careful with places offering drinks at high prices, so honey express is superb for that. Added to this are the generous portion sizes. The drinks for example, have no small, medium, or large. Each drink comes in its own generous fairly larger size regardless of the requested ice level. No up charge for a bigger size? Super cool. Taste wise this joint is good, it's fairly better than the majority of locations around San Jose. It feels good to know you are aren't spending too much for great tasting items.

I'm so happy another boba place opened up near me! This boba place is also very accessible compared to other shops, as it is located in a plaza with plenty of parking that's not too busy. I love it when it's easy for me to get good boba! The shop is very peaceful and provides decent seating. The server here was attentive and prepared our drinks quite quickly, and this was during their first few days of opening as well. I have only been here once so far, but it looks like they have a wide variety of drink options on their menu. They also provide some snacks to eat as well. I got the mango milk tea, and it did not disappoint. The consistency was a bit thick for a milk tea and was more like a smoothie. However, the taste was so floral and amazing, and I would definitely come here again!

Braised Beef Bento,

I ordered the braised beef lunch box and it was good. The beef was tender and full of flavor and the vegetables were cooked just right with a nice crunch. Even the marinated egg had a rich taste. The whole meal felt warm and home-style, and the portion was satisfying. I would happily come back again.

For those on a shoestring budget look no further than at Honey Express Bento & Tea a Taiwanese boba cafe just opened last month with a diverse menu items at an afforded price far cheaper than its competitors. Came by on a Friday morning light traffic and ample parking. I was greeted very warmly by the young ladies and offer a wide selection of drinks, bento and rice bowl. You can placed your order by using a self service kiosk or by cash. For drinks I chose watermelon ice tea regular ice 30% sweetness large size cup for $5.75 and for meals minced pork rice bowl $9.99 and six pieces of takoyaki balls $7.75. I wouldn't mind having minced pork rice bowl again generous portion fresh veggies and a slice of egg. Best of all they have a promo 25% off on pork cutlets and fish sticks would definitely be back so support your local business.

Good value. They have a special right now where a few of their bento boxes are discounted. I managed to get a fried chicken cutlet bento for under $11. They also sell rice bowls, onigiri/masubi, street snacks, and milk tea/boba drinks. Their bowls and bentos (whether discounted or not) are reasonably priced. Service is friendly. This is a very small restaurant with a few tables. Located in a plaza next door to Burrito Express and Little Caesars. I ordered to-go due to the heat wave we're having in the Bay Area right now. Having the restaurant door propped open for cooling purposes means gnats and flies inside, which is my pet peeve.

Went to their grand opening and there was nobody inside. They replaced Sancha Bar, a place where I used to go in middle school years ago. There was one person working. We ordered the Boba Milk Tea because there was a BOGO promo. The boba was pretty good and the milk tea was very creamy. Haven't tried their other drinks yet but I will be back!

I love their braised pork rice, the pork is tender and delicious, and the popcorn chicken also crispy.

The service is what you'd expect at an Asian restaurant in the Bay -- efficient and no frills -- but gets the job done well. Immediately after the food arrived -- we dug in. Not just because we were famished, but because it was THAT good. (One of those situations where you stop talking and just eat...) I'd wholly recommend the Oyster Pancake (a balance of briny seafood with sweet pancake sauce) and the Specialty Hakka Noodles ("Q," i.e. chewy, in the most perfect sense). Will definitely make a pit stop in Milpitas for Taiwan Cafe next time in Milpitas and highly recommend for anyone who's looking for a taste of some excellent Taiwanese cooking.

My beef noodle soup was hearty. The tender beef was scrumptious. The sandwich was different, something that I have never had before but I enjoyed it a lot. The pork meat filling was savory and tasty. Worst take-out experience I've ever had in my entire life and that includes the time I got food…read morepoisoning and kept on vomiting until there were no solids in my body anymore. I think I would prefer to get food poisoning again than ever have to dine here again. If someone offered me a plate of vomit someone else hurled from food poisoning - or having to eat here again, I would pick the vomit. To start, I don't have a particularly long time for lunch because it's a busy day and so I decide to get take-out lunch. So I punch in an order at 11:20 AM and show up at around 11:55 because the pickup time is 11:50 and I'd rather not wait around. I arrive, they tell me my order will be a bit longer (which is fine), and so I wait around. By 12:45, I notice that other customers who ordered long after me were getting their food first. I try to flag them down several times asking if there's any status. and they give noncommittal mumbling and walk away, but you presume they're just checking that it's in the queue or being made. By 1:05, I've made several attempts to flag them down again and some other customers I've talked to are also surmising that they may be prioritizing certain orders over other orders for whatever reason, because people with 12:45 pickup times were starting to get their orders. Eventually, they kind of just shrug and give me "my order", which appears to be just some random meal that's been left there for a while. Because not only is it cold (clearly something somebody just didn't pick up) - it wasn't EVEN THE CORRECT ORDER. They obviously just stapled my order receipt which they had been apparently ignoring for an hour and a half I can't even begin to theorize what is going on, but I suspect a mixture of both understaffing and incompetent staffing, because while waiting around, it seemed like almost every third order had a mistake that someone picking up had to correct them on (multiple times). I would be somewhat sympathetic if there was some sort of reason (maybe it's someone's first day? okay - any statement that goes with "sorry, but-" is fine), but they clearly just didn't care, didn't really respond in anything but shrugs or mumbles, and obviously seemed to just treat customers wondering where their food was as an annoyance to be ignored. I don't have particularly high standards for service, but they truly just managed to maximally do everything in the worst way possible, like Panglossian customer service but in the opposite. Quite frankly, the flavor of the food is irrelevant because I just threw out their cold leftovers out of principle. It doesn't matter what they serve and it could even be for free - I would under no circumstances ever eat here again. If I had a choice between eating here and simply not eating anything at all - I would pick to not eat anything at all and at this point, I'm probably not going to eat take-out lunches anymore in the Bay Area.

Another standout for me is the steamed spareribs with black bean and taro. The spareribs are tender and flavorful, and the black bean sauce adds a savory depth without overpowering the dish. Service continues to be efficient and well-organized, even when busy. One thing I noticed is that the restaurant is especially popular with elderly customers, which honestly says a lot about the food being comforting, traditional, and consistent. Almost every table had some combination of congee, rice rolls, and steamed dishes, which seems to be the way to go here.
