Wow, another Vietnamese boba cafe just opened last week takes over the space vacated by White Rabbit Cafe & Gallery which closed three years ago. Bro and I came by on a Saturday morning greeted by a middle aged lady and the interior is quite small though they do have both indoor and outdoor seating quite a cozy setting. Menu selection is simple drinks, smoothies, snacks and bánh mì/ sandwiches at a reasonable price. I chose #6 Dalgona coffee less sweetness regular ice with almond milk and whipped cream to top it off a quiet refreshing Korean flavor coffee and Bro chose #22 green tea cappuccino less sweetness regular iced topped with whipped cream a mixed Asian western drink definitely a solid drink and one small size bánh mì consist of pork and veggies for $3 and they have large size for $6 extremely reasonable generous portion. The lady was so sweet and would highly recommend M Cafe a definite 10 my go to for its bánh mì and iced coffee. By the way the drinks comes in one regular large sIze but a hit for those thirst quencher. Ample parking with surrounding businesses.

I had a very disappointing experience at West Coast Sourdough in Fremont…read more I ordered two meals totaling $52.60 (after using a coupon; the regular price would have been around $60). I also paid for extra cheese on my sandwich. After leaving the restaurant and driving to a meeting, I started eating and realized the extra cheese I paid for was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake, expecting a simple apology or an offer to make it right. Instead, the person who identified himself as the owner argued with me, insisting that the extra cheese had been added. I politely explained that it was not on my sandwich, but he continued to debate me rather than listen to his customer. Eventually, I ended the call because the conversation was going nowhere. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I don't understand is the lack of customer service and the unwillingness to simply acknowledge the issue and resolve it. My advice to anyone ordering here is to check your order carefully before leaving the restaurant. If something is missing, don't expect a customer-focused response if you call about it afterward.

First, superrrrr appreciative that they took sizing of banh mi's bc usually I can never finish them. The pork belly with extra pate was sooo good and a great brunch meal. Obviously you can't go wrong with sugarcane and the croffle was super tasty as well. I'd probably get another cream / etc to pair with it as the matcha one was flavorless. Can't wait to come here in person or DD more options from their menu. Overall: 9/10 recommend

Nothing really stands out, but they get the job done if you're just looking for a quick drink. The biggest downside is the location and overall atmosphere. The shop shares a space with a Chevron gas station, and it doesn't have its own restroom. When I asked, I was told to use the Chevron bathroom, which felt unusual for a tea shop. The café also isn't the most comfortable place to hang out. I stopped by during a heat wave once and decided to stay for a bit, but it was still hot inside. I don't think the A/C was running, so I ended up leaving sooner than I planned. I could see myself grabbing a drink to go if I were already stopping for gas or just happened to be driving by. But personally, I'd rather drive a few minutes down the street to Barber Lane, where there are several other tea shops with better drinks and a more comfortable atmosphere. I can also do my grocery shopping while I'm there, so it's a much more convenient stop overall.

It's nice to see this restaurant doing well, since they do a nice job, whether you decide to dine-in or take your food to go. Service is always friendly and quick. I like that they bus tables often to allow customers places to sit. You should leave fulfilled, since they don't skimp on portions. The pitas are stuffed more than most gyro restaurants in the area. You also can't go wrong whether you order their Gyro or Chicken Souvlaki. Their half Lemon Chicken is also really good. On this trip, I enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki Plate, which comes with awesome Chicken Souvlaki, Pita and Tzatziki sauce with a choice of two sides. I opted for green salad and rice to complete my meal. My wife and oldest son also enjoy their fries too. The chicken was tender, the rice was well seasoned and I like that they give you a good amount of pita bread too. My wife and son enjoyed their Chicken Souvlaki Pitas. I ordered three bánh mì sandwiches : one roasted pork and two pork belly and all of them were delicious and well seasoned with the perfect balance of the pickled veggies. The roasted pork, in particular, stood out to me. It had a satisfying crunch, and it's not something I see very often at other bánh mì shops. I'm usually pretty selective when it comes to bánh mì, but this place exceeded my expectations. I ordered the grilled chicken, grilled beef, and meatball banh mi sandwiches too. The flavors and tastes feel much lighter than most. Other than that, the baguette breads are still nice and fluffy, crunchy, and soft to bite into. I ordered with credit card at kiosk. You can order over the counter or scan a QR code to place your order too. It took at least 20 minutes to get the order since the morning line was longer than expected. Expect to wait 20-40 minutes at times when busy inside. Staffs didn't call out my order number until I asked for my order. I watched for a good 3 minutes. They get busy that they easily forget to call out all the order numbers, so double check if needed. Y-Linh Sandwiches is still a good convenient stop though. Sandwich prices are around $8.50-$8.75 each now. Environment is still busy with lots of morning customers. Other than that, they certainly have it all here/good sandwiches/good desserts/good beverages/good pastries.

The location of the store seems a little far away because it's in the corner by Safeway's gas station off to the side, so I imagine some people miss it. So keep an eye out for it next time you're in the mood for some hot subs. Chris, the owner, was so kind and explained everything to us. He was patient, informative, and professional. It's nice to see owners work at times and treat their customers so genuinely! So thank you, Chris! The store is honestly decorated so well. There's details everywhere on the wall, and it's all dedicated to San Jose culture and first responders. The ambiance felt local and cool. Now for the food, my husband ordered the Build Your Own Sub with Pastrami and it was delicious! I ordered their new and off the menu French Dip sub with aus ju and IT WAS SO GOOD. Highly recommend to get it now while they have it! Special notes: - All subs are served hot! - They have a hot sauce bar with unique sauces all leveled off from (1-10). 1 = mild and 10 = spiciest! Affordability: both of our subs came out to be around $20 for two large subs. Some people may view the prices as pricey, but if you get a large sub it's definitely worth it. Check out the photos for reference (I don't think the photos do the large size justice though because they are HUGE) and give Firehouse Sub a try for yourself!

Thought I'd give it a try. I like sandos....err subs. I placed an order online and picked it up without any issues, just the way it should be. My order was ready and waiting for me when I got there. The venue at the corner of a newer shopping plaza. There is a decent amount of seating inside and outside as well along with plenty of parking around. #Sandos: ~ Hook & Ladder - 3.5/5 The most basic one...I think. Smoked Turkey breast, Honey Ham, and melted Monterey Jack cheese, served with lettuce, tomato, onion, no mayo for me, and deli mustard with a pickle spear on the side. The sub were just okay for me, nothing amazing. ~ Firehouse Steak & Cheese (Large) - 3/5 Looks much better in the brochure. It's fine, tasted OK. Nothing to brag about, don't let the sando sit around. Make sure you finish it all at once or it will get soggy... may be its because of the oil and vinegar dressing I opted for? Not sure... The wheat bread is a tad too sweet for my liking and the white bread is just plain and flavorless. I do wish they provided options like Sourdough or Dutch Crunch, which also happen to be healthier for you. I wanted to complain that they were expensive but then realized that's how it is everywhere now. That food inflation is no joke... I'd stop by if nothing was around. Not so sure I need to try other items on the menu.
