I heard Y-Linh Sandwiches serve up some amazing Baguette Sandwhiches around here in Milpitas. I've seen this Sandwhich Shop all the time on Nights, going down E Calaveras Blvd. I didn't have a good reason to go, until now. Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I had to check-it-out. I got the usual Grilled Chicken Bánh Mì and a Cup of Cà Phê Sữa Đá. This Pic is from today, Friday. The Bread is Baked so differently, than the rest of the one's that I had out there, so fresh, and the Crunch on it is phenomenal. This is probably one of the best Sandwhiches I ever had. I can see why they're so popular. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.9-4.3 stars, this could be a 4.3/4.4 stars on a good day, I want to give this 4.3/4.4 stars, but I give this 4.3 stars out of 5 stars. It was Smack.

5 stars...this place doesn't deserve anything less than 5 stars! The interior is clean and modern with an easy to use order tablet. Our favorite is the roasted pork banh mi (thit heo quay) which we order in large quantities to eat both immediately and over the next few days. My parents love them because it reminds them of the traditional banh mi's they would eat in Vietnam- roast pork, soy sauce, and soft baguettes. Please open more locations (East Bay perhaps?). We won't stop frequenting here! 10/10 recommend!

First time visiting this location of Y-Linh Sandwiches. I've been to the other in East San Jose. This is located in a large shopping plaza near Ocean Market, Omega Restaurant, etc. There is PLENTY of parking, though, maybe at peak hours the closer spots are taken. When you walk in, you notice that its very spacious and has new-ish decor. They offer other items as well like pate chaud, fresh springrolls, pork floss, Vietnamese fruit & coffee drinks, etc. I was here for their sandwiches! I got the Pork Belly Banh Mi: Pork belly, house mayo, pickled veggies cucumber, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, house sauce (4/5). They asked if I wanted it cut in half? Yes, please. The bread was toasty warm, good crunch, yet not too bready. The meat was flavorful and tender. The vegetables added that freshness in each bite. Support your local business! Check them out.

I really enjoyed my heo quay / crispy roast pork sandwich! It does not come automatically with pickled veggies so I will remember to add it when I get next time. The pork tastes so fresh and crispy. I also got my mom a white and yellow che that they said it's a best seller and she said it was very good. I don't know the name lol.

Food- 5/5 I had their vegetarian banh mi. The bread was fantastic. You can tell it's fresh off the oven. It's not often you get a bread that's so flaky and crunchy yet soft texture at the same time. The filling was great too. Very generous portion and I like how I can bite into the shredded tofu (unlike some other stores where the shredded tofu was so thin and overfried/hard. Filling consist of the usual pickled daikon, carrots, tofu, jalapeño. I had their Vietnamese coffee too. Asked for less sweet/condensed milk and it came out with the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness from the caffeine. Love it. Service - need to wait a little bit longer which I don't mind waiting considering the freshness of the bread. Ambiance - clean and very well organized store with ample space to spread out while waiting for our order. This is more of a grab and go shop although they do have a couple chairs and one table available for those who want to eat here. I will definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

Solid sandwich spot but value is debatable. The sandwich isn't very large compared to other places. It's about a dollar more compared to duc hoang. The grilled beef was just ok. The roasted pork was BOMB. It's def a must try. The combination was good but par for the course. Overall would stop by if in the area but wouldn't make a detour

Was in the neighborhood. Sandwiches were ok but really short on the pickled veggies. I would be okay with a little less meat and more veggies. I had the pork belly and it was tasty. Spartan place with no where to eat in so only take out. Service is efficient. Bring cash cause they charge 3% for credit card.

Saw this sandwich place in near ocean super market and have to check it out. There's a kisosh or in person order, service was fast. There's an any tables to seat, I saw few chairs along the wall, but was already occupied. Got roasted pork sandwich and it was good, perfect crunch. Vietnamese yogurt is good too. Pate chaud, both beef and pork were not good, the skin was not crisp enough, too dense. Overall, it's now in Milpitas, but price and taste wise, I would still drive to duc Huong instwad.

I wanted to believe the hype since this spot was in my home town, down the street around the corner from the house I grew up in. I was familiar with the area, the busy intersection and the not so easy parking area (the mix of people, cars, carts). Ive seen this spot change food genres over the years. The banh mi sandwiches were warm but nothing out of the ordinary that stood out from other places. The menu selection was a little scarce, but I'm thinking there's maybe more to come as they just opened. The server that took my order was not very friendly but maybe it's just a cultural thing.

Y-Linh Sandwiches opened where Golden Bakery once was. Order to go only with cashier, not kiosk. No seating inside. Able to order promptly as it wasn't busy 11ish. Minimal decor. Offerings: banh mi, Vietnamese healthy drinks, snacks in cooler. Eats: Ba Chi (pork belly) banh mi (8) -option of cutting banh mi in 1/2, separating veggies outside of banh mi. -grilled pork belly slices tastes similar to charsiu. -limited veggie's: cilantro, jalepenos, cucumbers, daikon strips with slight smear of pate? Mayo? *nice change from usual combo, meatballs... Drink: Sam Bo Luong/Mu Trom (6) -heard it pronounced "mo gai", recommended by cashier to another customer. A Viet health drink. -minimal sugar, pandan jelly, basil chia seeds, jujube, ginseng extract?... *healthier than boba drinks, Viet mix drinks.. 4.5 stars love the personalized service, traditional Viet eats with new protein options for banh mi.

Y-Linh Sandwiches is a great choice to head over to if you're in the North Milpitas area. With limited banh mi options in the area , this spot is a solid option. I arrived in the afternoon and there was no line. The restaraunt had great service as I was in and out within minutes. I grabbed the grilled pork banh mi along with their Vietnamese coffee. The pork banh mi flavor offered a great flavor profile with a crunchiness to every bite. The only negative I found was the size of the banh mi as I wished the portion was bigger. The Vietnamese coffee is very good if you like it on the darker side. It definitely has a nice dosage of caffeine that'll wake you up.

This is a chain sandwich shop. The second store in the Bay Area. There is another one in San Jose off King street. Here is my scoring card for this restaurant: 1) Location: ( 4 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking. 2) Decoration : (3 Point) - They still have the original decoration. New and clear. Just have a grand opening. 3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve 4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are average . ( must be inflation ) 5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of Vietnamese style sandwich food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in Vietman . Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. The beef are raw, you will cook them in the broth. Wrap your own spring roll with the wrappers, veggies provided along with the beef that you cooked in the broth. They do refill veggies and wrappers as needed. Third, came the steamed beef patty, beef wrapped in lot leaf, beef roll with onions and lemongrass, grilled beef sausage. You can eat these as is or wrap them into spring rolls. Lastly, came the beef porridge. In my opinion, the beef porridge was the star of the night. Flavor was on point, ginger was not overpowering. It was really good. It was such a great experience but got a bit messy from wrapping my own spring rolls lol. Our servers were attentive and friendly. Ambiance was nice. A good place for family having lunch/dinner. Place was clean. Located in a busy plaza with lots of other restaurants, Grocery Outlet and other businesses.
