My party of 4 was seated right away on a Saturday evening. It was quite difficult to flag down servers throughout the meal to place our orders, get water refills, etc. We shared the grilled pork spring rolls, pho with softening rare imperial wagyu beef, shaking beef, garlic noodles with prawns, and grilled fish. My favorites were the pho (noodles had good consistency, meat was good, broth was flavorful) and grilled fish (piping hot, flavorful, good texture). Grilled pork spring rolls and shaking beef were solid but not the best I've had. The rice that came with the shaking beef was pretty mushy too. The hostess was friendly and seated us with menus, even brought out small bowls with plastic utensils for kids. The menu is big but we stuck with the classics. Pho Tai, cha gio re, and Banh hoi. The pho broth was pretty good with lots of noodles. The cha gio was extra crunchy and really good just kinda small compared to other restaurants. The Banh hoi was ok. The netted noodles was a bit tough, and there wasn't enough scallion oil in there. But everyone loved the pickled carrots and radishes in the dishes. We were craving pho and decided to drive down to Great Mall to do some shopping and try Pho 90 at this location. We ordered the #15 and #16. The #16 is usually a classic and what Pho 90 is known for. At this visit, the meat was a bit more cooked than we expected, so it wasn't our favorite at the table. I ordered the #15, which comes with rare beef served on the side so you can cook it in the broth to your liking, and I personally enjoyed that one more. Overall, it definitely satisfied our pho craving. Some of us felt we might have enjoyed the meal more if we had ordered the #15 or #11, especially if you prefer more control over how the meat is cooked. We'd still come back and would be happy to try other dishes next time, now that we know what to order. We ordered 3 things here. - Garlic noodles with BBQ Korean Rips: the meat was really good, flavorful and tender but it's a shame that the noodles were not good at all. It was nothing like garlic noodles, more like oily yet dry chow men. - Bột chiên (Fried rice cake with eggs): delicious. Crispy and flavorful sauce. Lots of eggs. Definitely recommend. - Bún chả Hà Nội: I like the sauce and the grill pork but I didn't like cha. I guess it's not my style. I'd order vermicelli noodles with grilled pork though. I came here for dinner with my mom. I have been here a few times and finally had a chance to do a review. I got #11 Special Combo: rare C-A-B steak, well done brisket, flank, tendon, and stripe noodle soup. It was delicious, not too salty. My mom got #52 Vermicelli soup with crab meat, periwinkles, egg, pork, and rib in tomatoes based soup which end up a bit spicy and salty for her. We had to ask for some hot water drinks so she can add the hot water into the soup so that it wasn't as salty and she was able to eat it. There were cute robots delivering drinks and appetizers to customers. There is also gender restrooms for customers to use. Each table has a number. After you finish eating, you go up the cash register and inform your table number to pay. Overall, I would come back and try other dishes. I don't recall Pho Dac Biet so huge in portions elsewhere. Most similar restaurants serve very basic Pho Dac Biet in a bowl. It stands out here. Everything still tastes delicious and good. Wasn't it just $15.25 per bowl a few months ago? Today, it's $17.25. This is usually a great place to dine in and servers are always good at their jobs. Almost every entree has gone up in prices now. Rotisserie chicken with rice wasn't too dry. It actually had softer texture than expected and tasted good. Very fulfilling. Everything hits the spots because portions are unbeatable. This Pho 90 Degree location is very solid if you're hungry while shopping at Great Mall. While Pho Ha Noi is nearby, the convenience of not leaving the mall is huge. Yes, I'm a huge fan of this Pho restaurant. They have lots to offer but my favorites are their chicken pho and soft vermicelli bowl with all grilled pork. My wife and I also enjoy their spring rolls with sausage and crunch wrap inside. This restaurant is clean and very spacious. They do offer highchairs for toddlers so this is great. I will say, their service could be a bit better in terms of checking-in. Once they take your order and deliver your meals, it's like you don't see them again; they rarely come over for check-ins or refills. Also, because they won't tell you, I highly recommend asking for their chili oil. Its house made and full of lemon grass and garlic fragrance. The chicken pho is phenomenal! The chicken is tender and served in different slices & sections like the breast, wing, drums, etc. The broth mixed with the chicken is delicious. The noodles to chicken ration are also generous so major plus here. I also love their grilled beef vermicelli. They give generous portions of meat as well as the side veggies: Lettuce, cucumber, carrots, sprouts. The portions here are pretty big so you'll for sure get stuffed. I wasn't that much of a fan of their Viet iced coffee though. I thought it was too bitter and odd tasting, not my type of cup. I honestly think this is one of the best pho places in Milpitas. My only complaint is the service. We were seated right away just to be forgotten. When I finally caught the attention of the waitress and ordered some appetizers to start she left (I thought she went to place the order). When she came back to finish taking our order we found out she had not even had ordered our appetizers yet. At least the food came fast. But the appetizers came last. We never saw her again. This place has become my new favorite pho spot. From their spring rolls to fried egg rolls to vermicelli bowl to hot pho, it's all delicious. It's some of the best pho in the area. My go-to place for lunch or dinner at the mall! There's quite a lot of seating inside, so I've never had to wait for a seat. The restaurant is located close to one of the mall entrances. Since it's inside the mall, there's always a lot of parking. We usually get the beef pho and it comes with the usual fixings of bean sprouts, lemon, basil and jalapeños. On occasion, we've gotten the turmeric fish, which comes with lettuce, noodles, rice crackers, some sauces and herbs which you can assemble into a lettuce wrap or as you see fit. The fish is nicely cooked, not too tough and very flavorful. They have other soup and rice dishes, but I have not tried those. There's a wall with multiple TVs where they play random food or travel videos. They also have what appears to be a Parisian mural(?) on the wall. They also play a variety of V-pop in the background. I just appreciate that there's an option for good noodle soup in the mall. Would recommend. read more

Broth really determines noodle dishes so I knew I wasn't expecting much from my bowl anymore. My boyfriend got the bun bo hue and his broth also lacked flavor. He had an awful reaction after a bite of the blood so I had to try it. It was weird and disgusting to say the least. It was probably, extremely not fresh and that goes with everything in my pho as well. Ingredients are okay to not par. The restaurant is big, but we speculated that that may be a sign of just pushing as much food out. Makes sense for quantity over quality for a mall restaurant (here for convenience). read more

The restaurant was quite big as there are plenty of seats at the restaurant and no wait on a Thursday night around 6:30 PM. The food makes up from the shabby service. We were served the cha ca la vong without plates and had to wait to ask a waiter/waitress. Luckily, there was one attentive male server who grabbed a plate for us instead. They have a robot server that brings you food, but only 1/3 of our dishes we ordered was served by the robot LOL. Bun Rieu - 4/5 stars. On the sweeter side, however, they were generous with tomatoes, tofu, and protein. I ordered a large and was unable to finish this but it was better than most places I've had before. If you like it more savory, ask for mam tom/shrimp paste. Banh Tom Chien Khoai Lang - 3/5 stars. Nothing special. Just deep fried battered sweet potatoes and shrimp served with fish sauce. Cha Ca La Vong - 5/5 stars. A decent portion of turmeric fish served over a sizzling plate. The anchovy sauce served with this was amazing. The servers don't really come back and check on you once you order/get your food. We had to flag them down when we wanted to ask for more stuff. My family and I were shopping here and Pho 90 happened to be located in the middle of our path while trying to explore all of the Great Mall. They were pretty busy at 1PM on a Thursday, but we were seated within 5 minutes of waiting at the front. The seats in the booth we got assigned to were a little dirty. Also when the staff were cleaning the other tables, they would bring around a cart to carry the dirty dishes. When the cart pulled up next to me, it smelled pretty bad but I understand it's easier for them to clean with the cart. The restaurant also uses a cool little robot to deliver drinks and appetizers. We got the spring rolls appetizer and eh, not the best I feel like because the rice paper was coming apart and not holding the filling well together in some parts. Pho broth was very good though! It really reenergized me to shop again in the afternoon after a productive morning of shopping. M family likes to come here whenever we want to walk or stop by Great Mall. Food is decent. It comes out fast and pipping hot which is always great. The restaurant is very spacious. Has round tables or booths in the middle of the room with larger rectangle tables near the windows for bigger parties. Easy to walk around with and you don't feel cramped at all. Service can be slow sometimes but you don't ask for too much stuff then all is good. Since I don't eat beef, I mainly get the Pho Ga or Bun Cha. For the Pho Ga, I know there's a better place but this is just good enough to get me by for lunch. Before they would give you lots of white and dark meat. But lately they seem to have skimped and cut things in half a bit or give mostly chicken skin. The Bun Cha seems to have changed as they give you more noodles/herbs. The noodles mixed with the herbs, meat and sauce provided is really good. I would recommend anyone to try this dish at least once. Just wished there was more of the delicious pork meat provided too! It was a birthday party and there was 28 of us. We took up two long tables. Service was fast and the staff very accommodating. The restaurant is clean and feels like family.
