    Pork and Shrimp Spring rolls
    Alex V.

Came here for an evening meal and the exprience was just ok. The restaurant is right off 4th street, so pretty easy to get to and they have a decent sized parking lot, so it's easy to park and go in. It's pretty nice on the inside and it was moderately empty on the inside as well. I ordered water, spring rolls and pho. I got the spring rolls and the pho, so the service was pretty lacking, especially since it was around 6pm and they don't close until 8pm I believe. No water, no checkups and not even a napkin - nor are there any at the table. The food itself wasn't too bad. The spring rolls were pretty good and came with a side salad and the dipping sauce was pretty good. The pho itself was very light and there are honestly better places for beef pho in the area.

Today one of the best decisions I made was, at My son's expense, to pay this new Phô spot, right around the corner from home a try, so to dine we went and let Me tell you it was worth every cent spent! At Pho No.2 you can expect fresh ingredients and for everything to tantalize your tastebuds! Well I can vouch for at least 3 of their menu options: the chą giò tôm thit(shrimp and pork egg rolls), the Bun bo Hué(Spicy Beef Noodle soup), and the Phơ gā(Chicken noodle). Out of all 3 we ordered, we loved their egg rolls, so much we ordered a double order, super delish and fresh...and comes with a small side salad. I can't wait to enjoy more of their appetizers. Re: our soups. My daughter and I really enjoyed V3. The beef noodle soup. The broth is super savory and did not require any sauce additions. The broth in it's presented form is the deal breaker for Me when enjoying Phô. If the broth is good I know everything else will follow. The chicken broth was not as flavorful, but once seasoned up, it to was very good. Okay, enough about the goodness, that filled my belly, now onto what excited my soul. The interior decor is very nice, and the set-up: open and welcoming.*see pics. I felt very comfortable. The staff was amazing and answered all of My many questions. The only adjustment suggestion I would make is to always check the water glasses of customers, and if low ask the customer if they're in need of more, but I super thank you for the ice...filled up our H²O flask without hesitation. Pho No.2 expect to see me/us some more.

Food was delicious and pretty well served. I just feel like they could be a little more generous with their serving size..

The pork and shrimp net egg rolls were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the bánh khọt egg rolls were just as amazing. I loved wrapping everything in the fresh greens they provided, dipping each bite into the fish sauce, and adding a little sriracha for extra kick. Yes, the fish sauce smell lingers on your hands, but it's completely worth it because the flavors are incredible. There's plenty of parking since it's located in a strip mall, which made it easy and convenient to visit. If you love crispy-style egg rolls, I highly recommend this spot. I'll definitely be stopping by every time I'm in the area.

Everything was delicious, even the pairing with the fish sauce and vegetables were fresh and clean. The fish sauce tasted like my mom's homemade fish sauce. My Vietnamese Mom definitely approves SJ eggrolls and even went back and ordered a few more things for my dad a week later. Thank you for having this spot in ESSJ and I'll be back for their catering trays for my next gathering.

Went in and he walked me to a table in anew section to the right side. The last time I was here, this section did not exist as it was a separate store. Looks like Tay Ho bought the store next door and the. Knocked down the wall and expanded their restaurant. The whole restaurant is pretty big now A nice selection of items. Food was good. Not great but doable and as there are not of Vietnamese restaurants in the area, this works well. Service was great. Food came out so timely without much wait. Enjoyed my quiet meal tonight.

The meat is so soft (I ask for medium rare) and it's cooked perfectly. It's super easy to eat and the flavor is so yummy. The red rice has a nice flavor and buttery taste to it. One thing I wanted to note is that I asked for no bell peppers and they cooked the onions perfectly. It's soft and pairs so well. I would definitely not ask for the do chua (carrot and daikon) and just sub it for extra lettuce next time. I'm literally craving the shaken beef plate again omg I gotta go back asap! My wife and I tried it for the first time, and you can tell right away this place has been around and knows what it's doing. Simple setup; steady crowd even on a Sunday night; always a good sign. I ordered the large chicken pho, and my wife had the chicken fried rice, which she really enjoyed. The pho was excellent; rich, flavorful broth; great noodles; and a portion size that humbled me. I couldn't quite finish it, which doesn't happen often. Only minor note; I would've liked a few more vegetables, but I'm sure they would've brought more if I asked. Service is quick and efficient. Like many traditional pho spots, you eat first, then go up to the register and tell them your table number to pay; seasoned move is to remember your number and handle it like a regular. Five stars from me. I'll definitely be back; next time I've got my eye on the brisket. Honestly, it's tough to find really good pho in this part of San Jose without heading up to North San Jose or Milpitas, but if you're in the Cambrian area, this might be your spot.
