I've been meaning to try Tay Ho and finally got the chance to. I went with coworkers for lunch. Tay Ho is located My friend ordered... Gỏi Cuốn (2): Spring Roll with Pork and Shrimp with Peanut Sauce (4/5). These were neatly wrapped and the dipping sauce was thick and delicious. Viet Style Chicken Wings (choice between 6 or 12 wings in an order): Chicken Wings served with Glazed Vietnamese Wing Sauce (4/5). We ordered one spicy and one mild. I think both were mild. But, these had so much umami and were savory. I'd order this again! Phở Sườn Bò: 14-16oz Beef Rib (4/5). My coworker said the rib was tender and it fell off the bone. He really enjoyed the broth and noodles. Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả: BBQ Pork Chops, Shredded Pork, Egg Cake over Broken Rice (3/5). My dish was good but I felt like I've had a better Pork chop elsewhere. But the egg cake was good and also the shredded pork skin. Vietnamese Ice Coffee (3.5/5). I'll definitely be back to try their other dishes. Support your local business.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was a decent experience. Parking is available in the private strip mall lot. Dining is available in the original indoor dining room or in the newly expanded dining room next door. Air conditioning was on the day of my dining although it was quite weak...making it slightly uncomfortable. Started off with the steamed rice roll with grilled bbq pork. The rolls were gigantic as well as quite price at ~$18 a dish. Moved on to the vermicelli squres with the grilled beef that was served on a large plate to wrap table side. Portions are also gigantic and perfect for sharing. They offer a points system via FiveStars to get free food after a certain dollar amount of spend. As of 6/10, cash and credit card are now the same price. Service by the uniformed staff was efficient. The vibes from the Gen Z cashier were lit.

My favorite Vietnamese spot in the Santa Clara area! When I first moved here, I was searching for great Vietnamese food that didn't require a drive to San Jose, and I'm so glad I found Tay Ho. The owner (who I always see there) is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food is amazing. That says a lot because I grew up eating the best homemade Vietnamese food from my mom, and Tay Ho truly holds its own. A must-try if you're craving authentic Vietnamese flavors!

Tay Ho is always filled with customers for good reason. The quality of their food and ample selection makes for a good spot, especially during a weekday afternoon lunch. Banh Xeo: I appreciated the display and aesthetic of the dish, although I wish that there was slightly more pork. The dish still tasted great, with its fresh vegetables as a side. Fried Chicken with Rice: This dish was simple and had a generous portion size for its price. I loved the tenderness of the chicken & how crispy it was.

Super disappointed by their lack of transparency when paying for my meal. They tacked on a service fee without telling the customer at the checkout counter leading customers to inadvertently double tip without knowing. A $40 meal turn into close to $60. I might as well order via DoorDash at this point. What a scam!

I ordered the shrimp vermicelli wraps and tried some of my party's banh xeo/banh cuon! Everything was great but if you need a lot of food/protein I'd order something else other than the shrimp. Their banh beo is also on the thicker side of ones I've tried

This was my go-to Vietnamese spot before I stopped eating meat. The V8. Banh Cuon Tay Ho Chay (Vegetarian Tay Ho Combination) is a really good option for non-meat eaters. There are lots of different items included, so you can figure out which you like best. The tofu is kind of bland, but the vegetarian sauce included is amazing, I could drink it. I usually dip the tofu in the sauce, wrap it in rice paper with cucumber, and bean sprouts, and dip the rolls into more sauce. The presentation of the packaging for to-go orders is a very nice touch! I love the branding and overall look of it.

It's been a few years since I've been back here. In town for work and no more group dinner. Wanted a quiet evening enjoying Vietnamese food. Not a fan of the parking lot but doable. Went in and he walked me to a table in anew section to the right side. The last time I was here, this section did not exist as it was a separate store. Looks like Tay Ho bought the store next door and the. Knocked down the wall and expanded their restaurant. The whole restaurant is pretty big now A nice selection of items. Food was good. Not great but doable and as there are not of Vietnamese restaurants in the area, this works well. Service was great. Food came out so timely without much wait. Enjoyed my quiet meal tonight.

Food is spot on. Service is great. Better than a lot of other Vietnamese pieces. We got to-go and they were really attentive in updating us and checking if we were waiting. The space is super clean. Really well-kept. Portions are great. Their rice plater could use better đồ chua. Their bánh cuốn was a star. Really welcoming and exciting to eat.

Decided to try something new in the area and can't believe I haven't been here before. Been on the hunt for some good banh canh with light broth and not the thick kind, and it was a delight!! I loved my soup, perfect portion size and flavorful. Not too salty, a bit on the sweeter side. Bun Bo hue was decent, broth is a little lighter than I preferred, not too oily, good flavor! We were so full from our noodles we struggled finishing the banh cuon. Fast service, loved the bell you could ring for quicker service, very nice and modern interior. Everything is very updated, plenty of space and light.

Stopped in for quick lunch and was pretty happy to find a good Vietnamese spot in the area! Now I don't need to drive to east SJ every time I have a craving. Their nem cuon was super tasty! I have no notes but the pork was flavorful and the dipping sauce it came with was also delicious. Their bun bo hue wasn't bad either, the meat portion were generous but I kinda wish they gave more noodles. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, which were my fave part of the BBH! The soup could have had a bit more spice/flavor to it, but it's nothing a bit of fish sauce/jalapeno can't fix. A small detail I liked was the cabbage being very finely shredded -- that way the cabbage didn't take over the soup and softened up nicely. We also really enjoyed the pork chop rice plate too. Overall I'd definitely come back! Didn't get a chance to try the banh xeo but I'm getting it next time for sure. The service was alright, they took a while to come take our order but they have a little button to call if you need anything and that worked well for us.

Wanted to get Vietnamese food in Santa Clara instead of driving to SJ and found this place in yelp. As soon as I walked in I smelled the pho and saw a lot of Asians so I knew it would be good. I ended up getting the bo la loc. It came with a generous amount of veggies and rice paper to make spring rolls. My friend got the bun thit nuong and really liked it. They have a big jar of nuoc mam on the side. The sambal was pretty good too. Wanted to try the banh xeo. Will have to come back next time

Food was very good! Only downside was the hair we found in the Bánh Beo... I am willing to overlook that because they remade the dish (so they said lol). Service was fine at best.

Adding Mian to this plaza definitely livened it up, it was so difficult finding parking and then there was an hour wait when we joined the waitlist. We wandered around Grocery Outlet and Savers to pass the time. I came with a group of 6 people. We ordered the sichuan spicy fries and fried chicken cutlet to share. The fries were the spiciest item I had that day, wow! I ordered the Sichuan chicken cold noodles, extra spicy. They were not spicy at all. I left everyone at the table try them and they all agreed it was not spicy. Kind of disappointing, I expected them to be spicier than the fries at least. My partner had the chengdu zajiang noodles, mild spicy. They were good, the signature dish of the restaurant. I would return, but their spice levels are very inconsistent.

We also almost always order the mo deum soo yook for extra protein. It's a combination plate with boiled beef brisket, tail, and tendons.
