Stopped in for quick lunch and was pretty happy to find a good Vietnamese spot in the area! Now I don't need to drive to east SJ every time I have a craving. Their nem cuon was super tasty! I have no notes but the pork was flavorful and the dipping sauce it came with was also delicious. Their bun bo hue wasn't bad either, the meat portion were generous but I kinda wish they gave more noodles. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, which were my fave part of the BBH! The soup could have had a bit more spice/flavor to it, but it's nothing a bit of fish sauce/jalapeno can't fix. A small detail I liked was the cabbage being very finely shredded -- that way the cabbage didn't take over the soup and softened up nicely. We also really enjoyed the pork chop rice plate too. Overall I'd definitely come back! Didn't get a chance to try the banh xeo but I'm getting it next time for sure. The service was alright, they took a while to come take our order but they have a little button to call if you need anything and that worked well for us.

I haven't been impressed the past few times I've gone and feel like the flavors aren't as good anymore. The most recent time I went with my friend and she got the OJ and asked for no ice. They brought it out with ice and she asked for it to be removed and they came back with the cup half full. Feels ridiculous to pay $6.50 for a half full cup of OJ.

Food was very good! Only downside was the hair we found in the Bánh Beo... I am willing to overlook that because they remade the dish (so they said lol). Service was fine at best.

Clean place like other reviewers have said. Fresh sugar cane was a novelty. The spring and fried rolls were good. The noodles for pho and the bun were also good. Nice condiment offerings including the giant containers of fish sauce. Fast service.

Came here for lunch because I was craving Vietnamese food and didn't want to bother my parents in making it for me lol Tay Ho stood out to me because they had banh uot and che. The inside is huge with two sections separated by an archway. Not sure if they do hot pot but their tables are definitely set up for it if they ever add it to the menu lol For a late lunchtime on a Saturday, it was really busy. Luckily we were seated right away. We ordered: P8 - Filet and brisket pho; the SO said the broth tasted a bit lighter and sweeter than he liked. He liked that there was a good portion of meat. B1 - Banh cuon dac biet; this was A LOT of food and satisfied my craving. The nuoc mam and chili paste (super spicy) were really tasty. Mango smoothie - SO liked that there were little mango chunks in this Durian dream che - This was sooo good. I am so sad that I dropped most of it on the ground though. Service is OK. We get our waters, but never got them refilled. After our meal, you pay at the counter. I am definitely going to come back to get another Durian Dream and to try their banh xeo!

I love variety and that's when come to Tay Ho. I almost always get the dac biet rice flour special with all the sides to go with the flour sheets. There are so many textures and each bite is never boring. Even though everything is soaked in fish the flavors come together.

Beyond Pho This places has decent pho, don't get me wrong but their other offerings are way better. Their food is fresh and service is fast. Prices are very reasonable Bahn Xeo - This was my fav. Crispy egg crepes loaded with shrimp and pork. Comes out hot with plenty of fresh veggies. Was technically an appetizer but felt like an entree Banh Cuon Tay Ho Dac Biet - Probs my second fav. So good. Rice noodle sheets with tons off toppings, including cold cuts, mung bean fritter, and sweet potato fritters. Very big portion, loved the variety Bun Tom Thit Nuoung - Tender pork and shrimp over vermicelli noodles Pho - Flavorful broth and tender meat. Not the biggest portion but more than enough for one person. I really liked their fresh noodles, but it does cost extra unfortunately Imperial Rolls - Standard egg rolls haha. I still enjoyed them however, came out crispy and hot

I'd ordered takeout from here 4 times but stopped in for the first time with my mom. * Staff was quick to seat us & take our order. Food arrived within 15min or so of our order. * Restaurant: 2 spacious rooms, plenty of tables. 1 room's tables were equipped with hot plates and exhaust fans, as though the previous restaurant may have been a different concept. * Food: We tried the shrimp fried rice and Pho Chay, unfortunately the dishes were not memorable. The pho used to be more flavorful in the past and the fried rice was not tasty enough to finish. $56 for three dishes and a hot tea. I might try Tay Ho again for other dishes, but I would try other places for pho and fried rice in the future.

Absolutely delicious Vietnamese spot! We ordered one of their specials (can't remember the name) but it's paired with spring roll paper, veggies, beef, and fish sauce). The egg rolls were also delicious and perfectly crispy!

I was super excited to try this place based on reviews and the constant amount of people I would see going here. Unfortunately it wasn't anything special like I expected. The service was okay and the place used to be some sort of old hot pot place? The only thing I would say was great was that they do carry a very extensive menu and have a lot of vegetarian options. I will stick to my places on the East Side. The flavor of the food itself was a miss for me :(

Lots of parking and seats. Pennyworth with mungbean was refreshing but their Vietnamese coffee had a very (vanilla?) aftertaste which I did not like. I did like that they had them in to go cups to make things easier. Water provided was lemon water. We wanted bun bo hue but it was sold out! At 11 AM... I got the bun rieu and my friend got the pho tai. Pho broth was definitely on the fatty and sweet side. It wasn't bad but not great. They gave a lot of soup. The meat wasn't what I'm used to. It was more of a pho tai chin to me (not rare, well done). The bun rieu was decent, it could have been a little more sour IMO but the pork blood was actually good even though I'm not a fan. I did enjoy it. Veggies for both dishes were fresh. Our drinks took a while to come out. We were halfway done eating when they arrived. Fast service so we were in and out within 45 min or so.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was surprisingly a tasty experience! Parking was plentiful in the private strip mall lot. Dining was available both indoors as well as on the covered sidewalk. Staff wore a uniform t-shirt along with disposable gloves. The restaurant had their A/C running which was perfect for a warm summer day. Ordering was done with the staff via their tablet. Started off with the combination pho and it was excellent. The noodles were the dried rice noodles and the broth was very flavorful. The meats were tender too! The webbed vermicelli platter was excellent, just like in Vietnam with the lotus wrapped grilled beef served with a side of vegetables and rice paper. The rice noodles were excellent too. They were super thin and light, served with a side of grilled pork and some vegetables. They have a FiveStars program where you earn points after spending on dining in. They also offer a 3.75% cash discount for paying cash.

This place is great! We came on a Saturday and it was completely packed. The servers were running around trying their best to get everyone their requests. B1 combination flour sheet plate 5/5 Love all the different textures on this plate with my favorite being the shrimp rice roll and yam fritters Banh xeo 3.5/5 Very crispy with a distinct coconut taste. Note that it takes about 15 minutes to make. Feel like they could've given more lettuce! P1 Pho tai filet mignon 4.5/5 Decent pho with tender slices of filet mignon. Opt for the fresh noodles! T2 vermicelli bowl with egg rolls and bbq pork 4/5 I really like their egg rolls and this was a pretty big sized portion. It felt bigger than the pho actually in terms of portion size.

We wandered around Grocery Outlet and Savers to pass the time. I came with a group of 6 people. We ordered the sichuan spicy fries and fried chicken cutlet to share. The fries were the spiciest item I had that day, wow! I ordered the Sichuan chicken cold noodles, extra spicy. They were not spicy at all. I left everyone at the table try them and they all agreed it was not spicy. Kind of disappointing, I expected them to be spicier than the fries at least. My partner had the chengdu zajiang noodles, mild spicy. They were good, the signature dish of the restaurant. I would return, but their spice levels are very inconsistent.

I didn't have high expectations for this stinky tofu, because it looked like a different type and was in what appeared to be a soupier broth, based on the poster, but went ahead and got two orders to-go, sight unseen, as I knew every member of the family would want to try it.
