I brought my mom to eat here this time. I got the grilled fish and BBQ pork with vermicelli noodles (serves 2). I saw someone eating that last time and wanted to try it this time. It did not disappoint. I really enjoyed it. You get all the ingredients to wrap your own wrap like a spring roll. I enjoyed the meal. My mom likes it too. We even had left over as we couldn't finish it all. I will come back again and have my son try it as he finished the leftover and wanted more lol. Plenty of seating, but can get crowded. You pay at the cashier by telling them your table #. Overall, this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Bay Area. I still remember this restaurant when it was first opened and they have remodeled this place and made it bigger many years ago. Interior design of the restaurant is much better. There is always people coming in and out, they have really good business here.

My family and I love this place. It's super close to my work and we frequently come here for dinner after their sports or school events. Their portions are hearty, whether it be a rice plate or a bowl of pho. Today we ordered two bowls of pho, some spring rolls; and fried egg rolls. Be ready to order as they will approach you quickly after seating you. It's very clean, since it was remodeled several years ago. We were in and out in no time and our tummies were full and content.

This restaurant has been serving the San Jose area forever. They are known for their bun cha, which, in my opinion, is better than what you get in the famous restaurant that served president Obama. The pho is also solid; the broth is packed with flavor, and they use high-quality meat. This place can get crowded; however, it's not a bad wait at all. Even though the place is super busy, the workers keep the restaurant clean. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it out yet!

Delicious food and fast service! Especially a fan of their turmeric fish dish! It comes with vermicelli, veggies, peanuts, crackers and rice paper wraps as well as sauce. So delicious and flavorful! I feel like each portion can serve up to 4 people, depending on how hungry you are! Definitely a unique Vietnamese dish (:

My absolute favorite pho spot--always recommend this spot whenever a friend asks for good Vietnamese food in the Bay Area. I know people who drive all the way across the bay to eat here. As any authentic Viet place, service is average, but the food is always consistent and comes out quickly. The place is usually pretty busy, sometimes with a line outside the door. Simple, no frills atmosphere. My favorite thing to get here is the Bun Thit Nuong--the pork is delicious, fatty, with grill marks, and I always crave it when I'm home. The egg rolls (cha gio) is classic delicious Vietnamese egg rolls, which I consider the best kind of egg rolls (tied with Lumpia). My parents enjoy the Pho here, and my dad usually asks to go here for celebrations. As they were born in Vietnam, I'd say it's a pretty good compliment.

I have been a hater of Pho Kim Long for the longest time because I do not like their pho or any of the noodle soup dishes. I am picky and their noodles are just way too overcooked for my liking and their broth is mid. However, all their other dishes that are not noodle soup are amazing! I usually for the bun cha Hanoi. The savory yet sweet fish sauce with charred grilled pork belly and that big piece of bouncy meatball is so delicious! Their cha ca va long is tasty too, they don't skimp on the herbs and peanuts which is a must for this dish. I recently got to tried their pho ap chao (with crispy blocked noodles) and I think I will add that to my rotation of dishes to order from here. If you are looking for the best pho, this place ain't it but if you are looking to try other amazing Vietnamese food, they have a good selection here!

A solid choice if looking for a comforting meal of pho in the winters. I liked their chicken pho so much that I dined here thrice in a month, thanks to the cold winter evenings. They have a plenty of tables for dine-in and I was honestly surprised that the tables were completely occupied on a Thursday evening. It seems to have been around for years but I was only recently introduced to it. It has now become one of my fav pho places in Milpitas. Their service is quick, staff is nice and the quality and taste of dishes is consistent. I tried their chicken pho and would recommend it. The broth had the right amount of flavor and the texture of the noodles was good. The size is pretty good too. I also tried one of their rice plates with bbq pork, but I liked the pho more than the rice plate. The pork was cooked well but quantity was less. I would be coming back here again for their pho and definitely to recommend it to others.

Service was very fast. We were seated right away. The ambiance looked clean and bright and there was staff coming around to fill the sauces on the tables. Parking is easy and right in front with a big lot. Food is chefs kiss!!!!! I would definitely come back for number 1. The broth flavor and meats are just SO good and plentiful. The beef short rib was too tendony for my liking and ended up wishing I didn't try something new. (The beef with the big bone that sticks out) Passion fruit soda was bombbbbb. I was pleasantly surprised with the drink order. Give them a try!!!

I've been coming here 22 years ago, can't believe they are still here serving the same pho. Only difference is they remodeled and the pho is 2.5x the price now. The good ole days when their regular was $6! lol. Now for about $16-$18 ish. Place was thankfully empty when we came in. We didn't have to wait and got seated right away. Ordered my rare beef and tendon pho. The broth was good. Southern style. Fragrant and beefy. Beef was soft and not chewy. The tendon was something I didn't like here. It tasted super inky. I told my husband and he said it's probably because they didn't clean it well. Everything else was good. Small lot for parking. In busy plaza.

Came in for a late lunch. Lucked out on a parking spot in the lot. Food was delicious and service was decent. Resraurant was clean during my visit.

My go to pho place in San Jose! The flavors, service, and speed is immaculate. I always get the number 13, and it is incredible. I love their appetizers and their boba drinks as well. Great place to come with colleagues for a quick bite. Even though they have a line out the door, they do amazing at getting people in and out quickly. 10/10 recommend trying it out!

Came back with some friends, excited to eat the fish again. We ordered some shrimp as the appetizer and thought it tasted great! However, when going through the lettuce, we found a live bug in the food. The servers were apologetic, but didn't seem super surprised.

I've been coming here with my family since I was a kid and I always thought they were good but I feel like their food and service has gotten even better over the years. The interior used to be a little rundown back then but after their remodel, it looks so much nicer! You really can't go wrong with anything you order, but their fried catfish spring rolls (Cha Ca La Vong) are the BEST thing on their menu right now. 10/10 no notes. It is so fresh and they really have the flavor down - I've tried catfish spring rolls at other restaurants but they can't even compare to the ones here. If you've never tried this before it comes out on a sizzling plate with fried catfish, dill, peanuts, onion, a side of veggies/herbs, and you wrap the spring rolls yourself. It never disappoints and we always leave satisfied. So if you've never given it a try, do yourself a favor and order this item next time.

Crispy outside. Came with the slightly spicy sweet fish sauce with chili. The banh beo chen came in one small plate instead of little dipping sauce plates. It had minced shrimp (more like crumbles), friend pork rinds pieces, and green onions. I like that they used shrimp instead of mung bean paste. I liked that the pate was warmed up with the rest of the dish, and the beef cubes were well seasoned, but they could have been more tender. We also got the fried chicken wings in garlic fish sauce. The flavor on the outside was great, but the breading was a bit dense and the inside needed more flavor. The service was great and they checked on us several times. As I got further into the bowl, however, the flavor started to feel flat and lacked the rich, slow-simmered depth I expect from a restaurant that specializes in this dish. It tasted more heavily seasoned than deeply developed, so experienced bún bò Huế fans may find it underwhelming. The meat was also not as tender as I would have liked, and the congealed blood--usually my favorite part--was overcooked and dry rather than smooth and tender. The visible holes suggested it may have been cooked too quickly at too high a temperature.
