Honey walnut shrimp and chow mein

Hot the honey walnut shrimp with chow mein much special for $18.95. Food came fast and was hot. Flavor was a little bit bland but overall not bad. Service was fast and friendly and there is plenty of parking.

Very cozy restaurant! The staff are friendly and always happy to help with recommendations. Every dish I've tried has been delicious, but my absolute favorite is the prawns with honey walnut. The prawns are huge, and the honey adds the perfect touch of sweetness. I'll definitely be coming back!

Shrimp With Honey Walnuts

What a great find located in a strip mall. Service was great and so was the food. We were a group of five. We all ordered from the lunch menu which comes with soup, rice or chow mein and the main course. Reasonably priced averaging around $16 per plate. Good portions too. The food tasted fresh and not overcooked or over prepared. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for good Chinese food.

Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice

Ordered takeout. Although while picking up noticed the restaurant had a nice ambience of Chinese decorations and seats were partitioned and the traditional Chinese art work looked nice. It's my first time trying this restaurant. Parking was easy since they have a big shared parking lot. Food was 3/5. Schechuan Pepper Chicken was really dry and don't have much flavor. Also they forgot to give us chili oil with out dishes. Fried rice was good and I like the Mongolian beef was not as dry but it would've been much better with a bit more spice. It was definitely a lot better than the chicken.

Flavor profile was good esp the garlic noodles and garlic steing beans, they were not too salty. Sadly the loco moco beef patty was a bit too firm and dry. Not enough gravy. Service was good. Someone made sure we put on name on the list when we were waiting at the door. A server check on us every once in a while. Took a while to get more chopsticks and the paper check. Ambiance was great. Other than a few items coming out less than warm, (and yes I'm not talking about the items that come out cold already) all of us really enjoyed everything! Big problem though, the service. Waiter is very much not attentive to anyone. Doesn't look customers in the eye, provides minimal service, hell, we had to ask the support staff to bring us chopsticks for food we had delivered to us 10 minutes ago, which grew cold. He never checked in on us, and we were charged 20% gratuity since we were 12 people. I don't mind auto-gratuity, but when the service is nonexistent, it really doesn't sit well. Overall it was a good experience, but the service is the deciding factor of anyone one of us 12 returning. Really unfortunate service from our waiter, other support staff seemed really nice, but he wasn't in charge of taking care of us, sadly. We were thoroughly ignored. Again, food was good, but service was so poor that this review is mainly negative. Edit: to top is off, delivered the wrong food twice, we cancelled our pork belly buns because they took too long/he ordered mala buns for us instead. Another addition: charged us twice for sea salt cream that we didn't order, and tried to say that we did order it.

But here's a tip: the phone is unreliable- your best bet for an order would be to come in person**** Portion servings are always way more than you need- there's a TON of value for the price point they give; one of the top reasons of why I always keep coming back. The food is delicious! Definitely recommend the bbq chicken fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Seating area is more so just for waiting for pickup. No sit down and eat since tables are stacked up. Ignore the dust and cobwebs ambiance because trust me the food is worth it. I'm going to go here forever!

The Walnut Prawns were craveable, and the prawns themselves were huge. I made my way back a couple time because it was so darn good. I don't live in Evergreen anymore but I definitely, plan on making trips out that way for the rest of the menu offerings. Highly recommended!

The combination of meat, veggies and the exterior crispy pancake created such an outstanding tasting effect. The lamb dish had one of the most tender meats I've tasted. The brown sugar sticky rice cake was soft inside and hard outside; with just the right amount of sweetness. Service was ok. They should've been kinder and more grateful. I liked how they have a sign posted on window saying that gratuity is at free will and you don't pay for the wrong dish they send to you. It showed accountability. There was no line for us to be seated. I was able to flag down a server to seat us since they seem to be extremely busy cleaning tables and servicing others. The hotpots are full of ingredients and the broth has always been tasty. Unfortunately, the meats seem to be overcooked. Prices have been going up over the years where only the monthly special is enticing for the value. Servers were friendly and checked in on us, but it took 25 minutes for our food to show up at our table after we ordered. The only consistent experience I've had are the oranges at the end of the meal. They are always amazingly sweet, juicy, and comes off the peel easily. I don't usually enjoy oranges, but I love the ones HomeEat offers! Will be back if in the area, but hope kitchen service will be quicker in the future.

Those took a while. I liked all the food besides the chicken with chili sauce. It's a cold app and I didn't really like it but my gf did so that's okay. This is one of the handful of American Chinese restaurants that stood the test of time. As is typical of these places, there was an old lady manning the counter and also acting as the server. And as is typical of these places, there was table at the end where they were prepping the fruits and veggies. It's truly remarkable how they are all similar in these ways! We got a couple of dishes and they came out at lightning speed. * Chowmein-3/5- delicious with lots of umami flavor but shockingly greasy. I mean I am used to oily noodles but this one exceeded some limits. *crispy salt and pepper eggplant-3/5- I had a stellar version of this dish at another restaurant in Sunnyvale and was stoked when I saw this on the menu here. Unfortunately it was a poor representation of the dish I loved there. The batter was too much and the dish felt heavy. The hot oil or sauce they had felt old and extremely vinegary as well, I would recommend avoiding it.
