I had to try this spot after seeing their menu and all the photos online--the food looked way too good to pass up! After reading through some reviews, I decided to order the bone marrow fried rice, and this was easily the highlight. I'd definitely order it again next time. It came with a generously sized bone marrow bone with plenty of marrow inside. I was honestly surprised to see the positive reviews because our experience with the food was quite different. We came in around 5:40 PM on a Saturday expecting freshly prepared, flavorful food. Unfortunately, several of the dishes we ordered were extremely dry and lacked flavor. The Bò Kho (beef rib), the Picanha steak sizzling and shaken beef dry-ramen were particularly disappointing. The meat was very dry, tough, and had a texture similar to jerky, which made it difficult to enjoy. When we mentioned this to the staff, we were told that the food was pre-cooked and that this was simply how it was served. I understand that some dishes may be prepared in advance, but I believe there should still be attention to maintaining the proper texture, moisture, and quality before serving. My father ordered the Lechon sticky rice. The pork was reasonably okay, but unfortunately, the rice was extremely hard and difficult to eat. I hope the restaurant will take this feedback seriously, particularly regarding the preparation and holding of pre-cooked food. Freshness, texture, and flavor make a significant difference in the overall dining experience. I'm so happy I came across this place. I've passed by it so many times and I finally gave in and don't regret it at all. I got a egg coffee and it was ok to me however my bf really liked it. When we packed our leftovers, you can see the juices from the beef spilling out lol. D-D is known as a more "Contemporary" take on not just Viet Cuisine, but pan-asian cuisine; their menus include lechon, ramen, and shaken beef --- in essence, there should be something for everybody here at restaurant! My table got 3 items --- let's go thru them quickly: 1) Appetizer - Bang Bang Shrimp: This dish began the meal right. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, quite large in size for an appetizer, and served with a nice tangy sauce. 2) Entree - Bone Marrow + Short Rib Fried Rice: This dish is perfectly portioned for lunch; it's not too big, nor too small. The most impressive part? Using your spoon --- and scooping out the bone marrow to mix into the short rib fried rice. This is decadent, but when will you ever do something like this again? Definitely try, and at least for me, maybe order it "spicy". I was missing a little bit of heat or acid to cut through the richness of the whole dish (that's why it's 4 stars); still a solid dish though. 3) Entree - My friend got the Soft Shell Crab Wrap, and she loved it. Pretty and tasty food! D-d delight has a great assortment of asian fusion food. My party really enjoyed the food that we ordered. I enjoyed the lechon sticky rice. The lechon is everything you would want - crispy and fatty. It paired great with everything it was served with. I was a big fan of the pate. I do think the price is reasonable for the quality and portion size. The place itself is on the smaller side and shares already small parking lot with a couple stores. Would recommend either carpooling or coming on a weekday if you plan on showing with a larger group. I would definitely come back and try some of their other dishes! read more

D-D Delight delivered in presentation, flavor ambience and service. Not usually a fan of fusion flavors but here, it's just different. All four of us got something different: shaken beef with tomato rice, shaken beef with dry ramen, bone marrow subbed with dry ramen and the colossal Dino banh mi French dip. Every dish had a uniqueness and had flavors popping in its own way. I love that every dish had a dip or sauce that compliments the entree beautifully. The shaken beef was my favorite. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender, peppery and had a nice char to it. They also have al fresco dining which is a plus so we can bring our pup with us. The host was nice enough to turn on the heater on this cold rainy day. Will return every time I'm in the area. read more
