A fun place to visit as it is very pretty. You do get an actual menu but you order on the iPad. Feel similar to other Korean places nearby. Drinks - I felt like it tasted fine but not amazing. You can do milk replacement which I really appreciate. I won't order a drink if I came back. I ordered the scramble - You can pick your side. I thought the food was very American - not Asian fusion. The salad was drenched with dressing and the scramble was bland. The toast was very hard. I wonder if I ordered the wrong thing. Would come back since they got really good reviews and it was quite busy even on a Thursday. Can be challenging to find parking - I parked on the street. Wouldn't try coming on a weekend. Can't imagine how crazy this plaza is during the weekend.

Came here around 2pm on a Sunday, and it was a really short wait! The interior is SO beautiful, I love the color pink and flowers!! The food was just okay though. The lemon garlic lobster pasta was my favorite thing we got. I liked how the sauce wasn't too heavy, but it was still very flavorful. The spaghetti noodles were decent (not overcooked) but I feel like it was a little odd with that type of sauce. I would've preferred linguine or fettuccine. The lobster was also really tiny :( We also tried the morin' egg w us wagyu steak. The steak was tender and I like how the only seasoning they used was salt. It came with a side of potatoes that were really bland... Lastly, we tried the creme brulee french toast. It looked REALLY sweet, but it actually wasn't too sweet surprisingly. It was just so soggy for some reason, I swear french toast is usually a little crispy. Overall, very clean and cute spot. But you are definitely paying for the ambiance and aesthetic over the food...

How it started: traumatized a few staff with my #interrogator and accidentally insulted the owner How it evolved: Kelly the owner recognizes me kindly as "Tina" out of the sea of generic basic azns. New staff hazing = sent to my table to get grilled on the menu Now: Basically my second home at this point. I think Kelly finally knows my name is Tian and not Tina. My go to spot for almost every occasion. The closest in terms of a total package with great food, amazing lattes, and beautiful setting for all the IG basics. FAVE ORDERS: - All the specialty lattes: black sesame latte, matcha latte, ube latte, panda latte, biscoff latte - Pistachio Prociutto Sandwich: my brain couldn't process the pistachio cream & prosciutto & burrata & rosemary garlic oil combination but my tastebuds understood the mouthgasm - Truffle Honey Egg Sando: too many of my fave keywords in one description - Rosé Tteokbokki: one of the best versions of this semi-rare in the bay dish - Fried Calamari: most distinctly calamari fried calamari I've tasted compared to the generic fried batter from every other happy hour menu - Mushroom Confit Salad SERVICE: - Incredibly busy for obvious reasons and the owner themselves work like a horse, expect slower service esp during peak hours and depending on how many IG models want their pics taken - Ash is the most capable service staff I've encountered in a long while, and I think he finally stopped trying to ignore my glares for attention half the time Misc: If they give you fireworks for your bday don't try to blow it out like a candle Instagram: TianTianEats

Date of Visit: 6/13/2026 GIWA is one of the most popular fancy brunch place in Santa Clara area. The restaurant is decorated with flowers, and you can actually purchase flowers from the menu for your loved one. On the menu there is a blend of Californian cooking style with Korean cuisine, including kalbi, bibimbap, mixing with uni and seafood. We made a reservation about 2 weeks before our visit, and were seated right away. The server was quite attentive. However, during our visit, there were two waiter and waitress drop the plates nearby our table. The first waiter dropped a plate with lobster shell and red sauce just next to out table. The other waitress later dropped a plate and an empty beer bottle, while the bottle was bouncing on the floor and broke during the third collision. Uji Matcha Violet Cream Latte $8 I got the matcha and creamy lavender latte. Grilled Corn Ribs $11 For our appetizer, we ordered the grilled corn ribs with gochujang butter and mayonnaise. The sauce was too much so the corn was mixed with plenty of sauce and too wet. Korean Pork Cutlet $27 Crispy pork cutlet served with cabbage salad and macaroni. On the side there was steamed rice and a separate bowl of house-made tonkatsu sauce. Seoul Seafood Pasta $38 One of my favorite dishes of the day was the spaghetti tossed in spicy tomato sauce with a mixture of seafood, including lobster tail, clams, mussels, scallop and shrimp. And a piece of a crispy garlic bread. Creamy Uni Pasta $34 The creamy uni pasta is a blend of fresh sea urchin and white wine, on top there was fresh sea urchin and crispy seaweed.

We stopped by GIWA before heading to a concert in Palo Alto and were so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful decor and welcoming atmosphere. We were craving Korean food, and this place definitely delivered. The portions were huge and perfect for sharing, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also delicious and paired perfectly with the meal. Parking in front can be a little limited, but there is plenty of parking available in the back, which made it easy and convenient. Great food, generous portions, and a lovely ambiance. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Got brunch here with my sister on a Sunday around noon. You can add yourself to the Yelp waitlist when you're within 1 mile of the restaurant so I recommend doing that - it gets busy. We had to wait maybe 15-20 mins after adding ourselves to the waitlist for 2 ppl. The parking lot gets full but there is parking back in the neighborhoods if you're good with walking a few minutes. The restaurant is super cute inside - pretty pink flowery aesthetic. Along with being a restaurant, they sell flowers. Service was great. Our waters were never empty and staff was kind. You can order with a server or on their electronic table side device. We got the pistachio prosciutto sandwich and the smoked salmon tower to share. Was super delicious! I would definitely come back

Seoul Different Cali-inspired Korean fusion cuisine that specializes in brunch, and is one of those places that you constantly see on social media because of its unique dishes and décor. The Good: * Yelp Waitlist and Reservations via the Yelp app. * We loved the décor, which is a bit upscale contemporary meets IG, if that makes sense. * Evidently, there's a flower shop inside where one can purchase flowers for the lovely missus. * We were impressed by their acoustics, as despite it being a full house inside, the noise was surprisingly tolerable. * You can order via tablet or with the wait staff which for kinda confusing, but whatever. * The soup du jour was the potato leek, and it was delicious. * Both of our lattes were phenomenal. My Uji Matcha Cream Latte was maybe the best matcha latte I've ever had, as the grassy matcha was perfectly balanced with just a little sweetness to bring out its natural flavors. And Carissa's black sesame latte was just pure deliciousness. If you like black sesame flavor, then just get this. * My Korean Pork Cutlet dish was gigantic--which was a good thing, because I was a hungry boi. The pork was pounded nice and thin and the panko coating was crispy and delicious. The Meh: * The private parking lot gets filled quickly, and there are lots of "don't park here or else" signs. There's also street parking available. * Not a fan of their seating arrangements where your "neighbors" are literally less than an arm's length away from you, and you just have to pretend they're not there. The Ugly: * Drinks and food took an obscenely long time to come out. The food I kind of get, but the drinks? They must've been really backed up for a couple of lattes to take 20+ minutes. Conclusion: Terrific food and beverages, but maybe not the best ambiance.

I had my eye on GIWA for a minute... been wanting to check it out ever since I saw the place in person while chowing down next door at Master Oh's. Also the glowing reviews are always a good sign as well. However I still wasn't sure what to expect; my homegirl didn't care for the food and da wahine was a fan. "At GIWA, we offer a unique brunch experience by blending California style with Korean cuisine, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. More than just a dining spot, GIWA is an enchanting space adorned with curated flowers and plants, bringing elegance and vitality to your experience. Whether savoring coffee, indulging in dessert, or sharing conversations, GIWA offers a cozy yet sophisticated retreat. We also specialize in group reservations, private events, and catering, tailored to your unique vision." - https://giwadining.com/about Good size venue with a variety of themes. It's bigger inside than it looks. The venue also doubles as a Florist as well. https://giwadining.com/flower-shop Parking can be challenging over the weekend. I ended up parking across the street and walking over. Even the additional parking in the back was full! Staff was friendly and helpful, service was wonderful. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Esther. We didn't have any reservations, I do recommend a reservation, the place was packed. We got lucky and were able to get a seat with only a 5 min wait. #KoreanEats: NON COFFEE: ~ Uji Matcha Violet Cream Latte - 4.5/5 Very well balanced; brilliant Matcha Latte. Not too sweet or too bitter. umami, herb, and creamy lavender | Ice only. ~ Rose Mirage Ade - 5/5 I love Rose flavor. This was one amazing drink, well balanced flavors with the right amount of sweetness. I wish this was cocktail. Rose, lychee, and lemon. GIWA MAIN DISHES: ~ Korean Pork Cutlet - 4.5/5 Generous portions. a perfectly crispy Pork cutlets served with cabbage salad, creamy macaroni, steamed rice, and house-made Tonkatsu sauce. Also came with a soup. make sure you are hungry! NOODLE & RICE: ~ Seoul Seafood Pasta - 5/5 That sauce tho... I would put that sauce on everything! Spaghetti in spicy tomato sauce made with rich seafood stock, with clams and shrimp. Delish! NEW MENU SPECIALS: ~ Creamy Uni & Tobiko Rice Pot - 5/5 A very unique dish; Flavor galore! Creamy, Umami, Savoury, crispy and hearty at the same time. Don't forget the Crispy rice on the bottom, it's the best part! We didn't finish everything, since it was a decent amount of food. Once Esther learned it was my birthday meal. She told me she'll prepare something for me! *‿* A few minutes later she came by with a Crown a fireworks candle and some Souffle Pancakes! happy belated to me! Mahalo Esther! She even asked me if I wanted that the birthday song... No thank!!! GIWA Dessert: ~ Souffle Pancake - 4/5 Soft and jiggly, cloud-like texture; Japanese-style pancake, airy inside and golden outside topped Madagascar Vanilla Cream. A very pleasant experience... I'll be back!

This is a really beautiful Korean-American fusion spot. The floral decor, open dining room, and instagram-worthy food all make for a great vibe. Service is on point too, someone walks you through the menu as soon as you're seated and water refills just kind of... happen before you even think to ask. Pricing is pretty reasonable for most things, though the pastry and cake options feel a little steep for the size you get. Pretty tasty food, great for family-style option to share across the table. It's more of a cafe-brunch spot than a go-to dinner place, but honestly worth checking out if you're in the area. We went around 9pm and had zero issues with parking, so that's a plus!

I have been here two times, once around early afternoon and the second time is in the evening. If you go on off-times it's easier to get in. During busy hours definitely get yourself on the waitlist as soon as possible. This place used to be a bar and they have transformed it into a beautiful sit down restaurant. It's spacious and has a little flower shop in a corner. I went with friends for dinner and we decided on two appetizers, truffle potato pancake and the mushroom confit salad to share. We each got our own main entrees, I got the special uni rice bowl, my friends decided on the cheese stuffed hamburg steak and the creamy uni pasta. The mushroom confit salad was absolutely delicious! Every part of the salad was cohesive and works wonderfully. The potato pancake was also delicious but super rich. I was thankful to share that with everyone. There's no way I would have been able to eat that all by myself. The uni rice came in a small cast iron dish. It was bubbling hot and definitely creamy. Every bite was delicious and very rich. My friends enjoyed their meals and we had a great time. No major complaints. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Wow. So from the outside you could never tell that the interior is breathtaking. Beautiful floral and pink decor. Only complaint is that though the seating is beautiful, the tables are tiny and uncomfortable. A must try is the struggle egg salad sando. Also the French toast. The coffee was meh but my friend loved her ube latte. I want to bring my sister here but let's just say with the prices it's a special treat place unless you're making that tech money.

Went in on a Sunday 12PM, waited for about 20 minutes. Our waiter Ashton was very kind and attentive. Cute ambiance with lots of flowers, you can also buy flowers inside! The Korean egg Benedict was yummy, especially the patty. The croissant waffle under the chicken was also very good. Honorable mention is the Pandan Latte and the freshly squeezed orange juice!

This place has been on my must try list for a while, and let me tell you why I give it 3 stars. Ambiance: its actually really beautiful in here, very instagram and trendy vibes if you want to come here with some girlies for a cute brunch spot with aesthetically pleasing dishes. BUT please note, on 4/16/26 there was an inspection by the health department and noted cockroaches in the kitchen and also in the dining area... I ate here a 4 days before the inspection report came out, so i am docking a star from this not knowing if my food was cooked near questionable sightings. Food: pricey, but taste wise is not bad. I got the golden chicken and croffle and this was actually good. the chicken was huge and the portions were generous. the croffle was flakey and thick, paired with fruits and their syrup. Also uni pasta was good, sauce was thick and umami. the flavors were there but this dish was $34, so a bit on the pricey end Souffle Pancake: $15 each, quite pricey for the size, but these resemble the japanese fluffy pancakes. I got to try the regular one with fruits, and then the one with matcha cream. This was a good try, but not sure if I would order again! Overall not a bad experience, except for the inspection report from the health department

You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

The service was quite slow throughout the evening. We ordered the goat empanadas, wood-fired Mary's chicken, sprouted cauliflower, eggplant, and sticky pork shank. What surprised me most was how similar everything tasted. From the appetizers to the main dishes, the flavors seemed repetitive and lacked distinction. Each dish looked appealing, but none really stood out. Overall, the food felt uninspired, and I didn't get the sense that much care had gone into developing unique flavors for the menu. Given the many 5-star reviews, I was expecting much more and left feeling disappointed. The ambiance is lovely, but I would not return for the food. Don't be misled by the photos, they were far more impressive than the actual dining experience.

So of course after tasting some nice wine, I made my way over. After talking with the bartenders, I learned of the theme. I've never seen so many whiskeys in one place! Lots from Japan too! Had to try an Old Fashion. So, the bartender was making one for another customer. He added extra to the Shaker, and served me a sample from it to make sure I liked it. So nice! And, it was delicious. All the bartenders were very friendly & talkative. And, as it is in a hotel that caters to international travelers, there lots of customers from around the world. I met one guy from England, then had a pleasant conversation with a guy from Seattle. Good vibes in this place!

Our Go-To place for a late night meal…read more We got the Rabokgi, the Spicy Tofu Soup, the Boneless chicken, and the Egg Fried Rice. The portions are pretty big for each dish, so just a warning because we thought they'd be smaller and ordered way too much! The fried chicken was really crispy and delicious, we finished it so quickly. I'm not usually a big fan of fried rice but this was slightly sweet while still being mostly salty so it was great! Would definitely get it again. We were craving a bit of Tteokbokki but the serving was huge! Rabokgi is just ramen in the middle of the tteokbokki, and it was pretty tasty. It was just too much food for us. The spicy tofu soup was good, it hit the spot. We wish the waiters would've warned us of this, as there was so much food left over because everything was bigger than expected. The place's decorations are very cute. People have idol photo cards hung up which is funny and cute.

They always taste good and consistent. I've had other dishes here but wasn't a fan. I tried the pork cheese katsu but it was very dry. Also, the pork belly dish I had was overcooked and tough. Additionally, the clam soup was eh. It was a clear soup cooked in jalapenos and my stomach did not enjoy that with alcohol.

This was supposed to be a special birthday dinner date that my husband meticulously planned for me,…read morebut it turned into the most horrendous dining experience I've ever had. We dined at Lira on November 14th. The Service (or Lack Thereof): The Menu Shortage: We arrived for our 6:45 PM reservation only to be told by the manager that they didn't have enough menus. We were told they'd bring them "later." Ignored for 35+ Minutes: We sat with nothing but water for over half an hour. To make matters worse, a table of six was seated after us and received their full entrees while we were completely ignored. The Drink Mess: After 40 minutes, the server told me they were out of ingredients for my drink. When I picked a second option, she tried to insist I wanted a drink with celery (my most despised vegetable). We thankfully stopped her before it was made, but the incompetence was staggering. The Food Fiasco: An hour into our reservation, someone dropped off a scallop dish. A while later, a server asked if I'd "received the scallops yet," and I realized the plate I was eating wasn't even intended for our table. We were so starving that my husband and I just shared them. Once we finished, the server finally asked my husband if he "still wanted his meal or if he wanted to cancel it." I finally lost my cool - of course he still wanted his dinner! The Aftermath: My husband didn't realize that my friends had actually made a separate reservation to take me back to this same spot the following night for a second birthday celebration. After this performance, there was no way I was going to step foot in this building again or give them another cent of our money. I texted my friends from the table to cancel those reservations and book elsewhere. With service this disorganized and insulting, this restaurant won't be in business long. Super disappointing. Don't waste your special occasions here. *Edit - it looks like Lira has closed. With the service we experienced, I am not surprised in the slightest. I am hopeful that whichever future business occupies this space is more successful.

I had high hopes for this upscale Mediterranean spot in downtown Campbell. Lots of hype, but the…read morefood was average and service was all over the place. I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.
