Damn! Talk about an EXPERIENCE! Two of our party of four went inside to check in for our reservation while the other two searched for street parking. When we got inside, we were seated in the lounge area for dinner. Let's just say our knees were basically at our chests because two of us are 6'1" and 6'4". Thankfully, the team was incredibly accommodating and was able to find us a booth that worked much better. The atmosphere? SO good. We absolutely loved the vibe. But the service... I can't even begin to say enough about how amazing it was. Camille was TOP NOTCH! She could handle every ounce of sarcasm we threw her way , and she consistently went above and beyond. If something didn't seem quite right, she was immediately there offering to make it right. We started with drinks, and I ordered the Spicy Marg. It came out without the spice, even though Camille had warned me beforehand that it was going to have some heat. She immediately offered to take it back and have it remade, but honestly, it was still really good and I didn't want to waste it. If it had sucked, trust me, I would've said something! My next favorite was the Fig'n Around. Not only because I'm married into a fig family , but because it was genuinely delicious. And one thing I really appreciated about both drinks was that they weren't overly sweet. Now... DINNER. We asked Camille for her recommendation between the 40 oz Tomahawk and the 30 oz Ribeye. She initially recommended the Tomahawk, but once we added the Captain's Catch to the order, she suggested we go with the Ribeye instead since there would already be plenty of food for all four of us. And she was absolutely right. Everything we had was SO good. The only real negative I walked away with that night was the mac & cheese. It was a little overcooked, which is exactly why I usually stay away from pasta. BUT -- do NOT let that deter you from coming here. That was such a minor thing compared to the overall experience. I honestly cannot wait until I'm back in the area because I will absolutely be going back. I'm already craving everything we had that night! Oh, and the saddest part of the whole evening... I ordered the white chocolate bread pudding to go and STILL haven't tasted it. I completely forgot about it because I'm not usually a dessert person! My friends and I have visited Wild Rose a couple of times now for their happy hour. It's a really cute place to host a birthday or just a hang out. It's located in downtown Campbell with lots of street and garage parking. Their happy hour is really convenient from Tuesday-Thursday 5pm-10pm. I will be honest, but the happy hour prices are still quite high compared to other restaurants'. The service can be a bit inconsistent, but I understand when it gets busy. Food: - Fried calamari: lightly breaded, super crunchy, not soggy at all. 10/10 - Crab cakes: not flavorful and really mushy inside. 4/10 - Seafood tower: Oysters were yummy and fresh. The shrimp was normal boiled shrimp with ketchup and the sashimi slices smelled way too fishy. 5/10 - Truffle fries: Basic fries with a hint of truffle taste 6/10 - Brussel sprouts: Super crispy and flavorful. The balsamic glaze gives it a tangy and sweet taste to the smokey pieces. 10/10 - Wagyu sliders: Under-seasoned. Didn't really taste like Wagyu to us. I've been here probably fives times now and adding to my last set of photos. This time, I decided to bring a friend for her birthday since it had been on her list of places to try. As expected, the cocktails were delicious and definitely the highlight. I had the yuzu sidecar, which was excellent, and my friend had a tequila-based cocktail that she really enjoyed as well. They knew we were celebrating her birthday and seated us in the "Happy Birthday" booth, which was such a fun touch! They also brought out complimentary ice cream with sparklers for dessert, which made the evening feel extra special. For food, we started with the poke tacos, which were excellent and probably my favorite dish of the night. We also ordered the truffle parm fries, but unfortunately those were a disappointment. The fries weren't crispy and had more of an In-N-Out-style texture, and there was barely a hint of truffle. We also tried the Korean fried chicken with garlic noodles. Unfortunately, the noodles were drenched in the Korean sauce, which made them soggy and a little too salty for me. Overall, the food was just okay this visit, but the drinks were great. Our server,however, was great, very kind, friendly, and accommodating throughout the evening. The atmosphere is dark, lively, and fun, and I think this place is best suited for an evening out with friends, especially on the weekend. To me, it's more of a casual, trendy hangout than an upscale or farm-to-table dining experience, and I probably wouldn't choose it for a family meal. Somehow my 7 year old carnivore learned what a tomahawk steak is and talked about wanting to try one so much his grandpa found out they do a tomahawk Tuesday special and decided to treat us all. We didn't know how busy it would be so we made a reservation. It was pretty empty when we got there. It was kind of awkward. We stood there waiting at the host stand, there were plenty of employees around. And it still took a while before anyone came to greet us. And then once we were seated, we were waiting on grandparents to arrive and it felt like forever before we were even offered water. We were finally ready to order. We got the tomahawk to share and ordered a few extra sides. The special came with two salads, two sides, and one desert. We opted for the Greek salad, the Caesar, Brussels sprouts, and truffle fries. We also added a side of truffle Mac n cheese and the scallops entree. They brought out two Greek salads, but we thought they'd just divided the portion that came with the special onto two plates to make sharing easier. It wasn't until the caesar never came we realized they'd brought it out wrong and we had to find our waitress. Luckily the Greek salad is delicious, so it was a happy accident for us. And my husband did eventually get his caesar salad, which was also very good. The rest of our food came. My son's eyes almost got as big as the steak itself as he watched the served torch it. We were surprised no steak knives were offered, but the meat was tender enough only having butter knives wasn't an issue. The Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy, but not much flavor or seasoning. You have to really like Brussels sprouts to enjoy them. The fries were just OK. No truffle flavoring at all though. They should have just called them truffle fries. The truffle Mac n cheese was delicious, but again, not so much as a hint of truffle flavor and should have just been advertised as regular Mac n cheese. The scallops were delicious, although the garlic mashed potatoes they were served on were just sort of lukewarm. Our waitress disappeared during all of this. We eventually asked the bus boy who had started to clear some of our dishes if we could get our drinks refilled and some dessert menus. Our waitress eventually came back with a bowl of ice cream (it was my birthday) and asked if I wanted complimentary champagne and that she'd be back with the dessert menu. I didn't actually want ice cream, so I gave it to my son. By they time they finally brought back the one dessert menu (again, we were a group of 5) my son had nearly finished the ice cream and what wasn't eaten had fully melted. My mil didnt let anyone else look at the desert menu. So I have no idea what all they have other than the tiramisu, cheesecake, abd creme brulee she ordered. It was super awkward sitting there waiting though while everyone else had their desserts. Even if I'd wanted the ice cream, i would have been sitting awkwardly anyways because it took so long to even get the menu. Overall, the food and ambiance is great. The service was lacking. I would have understood if it was a crazy busy night. But the place was nearly empty. Our waitress didn't even circle back around to make sure things came out OK, offer refills, or anything until the bus boy finally seemed to have sent her back. Props to the food runner/server though. First time visit to celebrate my friends birthday . Had an amazing and memorable experience! Situated on a cute downtown Campbell corner. Within easy walking distance of plenty of parking and a parking garage if you don't find anything on the street nearby . I loved the green velvet booths and decor , which evoked old Hollywood glamour ! Tables were set up in way that you didn't have to maneuver around them to get to the bathroom which was roomy and clean! There was a bat and lounge area to one side and seated dining on the other , Our server Camille was amazing ! So attentive and her timing got delivering each Sri name course was on point . Birthday girl asked for suggestions a fruity house cocktail. Instead of just rattling off the fruity drinks, she asked questions to personalize a suggestion and described each drink! The food was fresh and presented nicely. One of my friends and I decided to each order the poke tacos . I loved them! Even though it was probably an appetizer is the right amount for a light meal. My friends ordered the Korean spice chicken and pan seared salmon and they both complimented their meal. Date night was AMAZING! This was my husband and I's first time at Wild Rose, and what a great experience we had! First off, it's such a beautiful place. We loved the ambiance and the whole vibe. Our waiter, John Carlo, deserves a raise! He was so professional, friendly, and attentive. He really made our experience so much fun and enjoyable. The manager that evening was also so nice and welcoming. And let's talk about the FOOD! Everything was soooo good! Tomahawk steak - $7 each, honestly this is a confusing one. I was expecting steak bites similar to how a regular carne asada taco is, but it came in one huge chunk of meat, which wasn't even the best quality or cooked well. I also tried the mushroom ravioli, and honestly it tasted just like the Costco mushroom ravioli. My favorite thing was the hamachi crudo! After our first visit last night, I think it's safe to say it is probably the best Happy Hour offering in the SF South Bay. Good quality, good value, great service and nice club/lounge ambiance. Here's what we shared food-wise... * HH Garlic Noodles -- This didn't quite meet my expectation. Described as a "perfectly cooked pasta tossed in rich garlic butter", what we got was more like a soft udon type noodle with a rather starchy garlic sauce. The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Fresh generous slices of yellowtail topped with sliced lemon, jalapeno, tobiko and microgreens, perfectly matched with Ponzu sauce. ($12 on HH for 4 pieces versus $23 for 5 pieces on the Dinner menu) * HH Crab Cakes -- 2 medium sized blue crab cakes with diced mango and spicy aioli. Pretty decent for $14. * HH Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- Good standard fare. For drinks, we enjoyed... * HH Weather Pinot Noir -- Our server, Mikayla, said it was her favorite wine on the HH menu. I fear I don't like this place at all. Too dark, too loud, too many tvs, and the food is just straight up mid at best, and always messes up my stomach. I ordered oysters fries and a mocktail (mid) I tried my friends gnocchi which was yummy since I'm typically not a fan. The ceviche tostadas I would get those are yummy! The garlic noodles looked mid. They tasted just ok. I really like the vibe here. Service has never been a problem other than people's food not arriving on time all together. A couple people were still waiting on garlic noodles which is a simple dish. I recommend not getting the fries. They are horrible and a waist of money. Came in on a Friday night with some friends for dinner and this place is a vibe! We were greeted promptly and seated. We started with the wagyu sliders and calamari and the sliders were amazing. Juicy, flavorful, and perfect. The calamari was crispy and fresh and the sauce was perfect! I am disappointed I didn't get a picture but I did get a video of their table side tomahawk... and let me tell you it was a show and something you need to experience. Cooked to perfection and tender with so much flavor! If you want to see the video I have it... hit me up :) We also wanted to be somewhat healthy and ordered a side of broccolini which was al dente and had a nice coat of salt for taste. The beet salad was also a touch of crispness. We ended the night with the tray of deserts and the bread pudding was by far the winner. All the others were good but the bread pudding was the star! Extensive happy hour menu (see pic). We ordered several dishes and all were quite good. I ordered the Whiskey and Wagyu Elevated Duo ($16) which was one Wagyu slider with an Old Fashioned drink. The drink was nice and classy, and full strength! Nice. The slider, honestly, I couldn't tell whether it was Wagyu or not - once you grind beef and cook it, whatever quality the Wagyu brings as a cut of beef is lost in the process. But it was still a good slider. We also had Brussels sprouts, tasty and allowed us to feel we were eating some veggies. The crab cakes were on the smaller side, but delicious. The garlic noodles I wasn't expecting a lot from, but were just as good as all the other dishes. Finally, the lava cake was done just right. Perfect cook, nice sweetness, the only flaw being that there wasn't enough ice cream to go with the cake. Service was efficient and friendly, the place is decorated classily and it wasn't excessively noisy. It's great to have a Happy Hour that lasts so long, and the trade off between only having it limited days but for extended hours is a fair one. So all in all, a very nice meal and cocktails. My wife and I came here after an event for some drinks and appetizers. We decided to sit at the bar area so we didn't have to wait to be seated. The place is very spacious with bar seating and booth seating. The place was dim and they have little lamps at the table which made it more intimate. She even checked up on one of our appetizer which took a little long to come out. We ordered a few drinks from both the regular menu and the seasonal menu. We started off with chilled jumbo shrimp. The shrimps were sweet and went well with our drink. Since the shrimps were pretty good, we decided to order a few more appetizers and opted to try the baked oysters and seared scallops. The seared scallops were cooked to perfection where it wasn't too rubbery and had a lot of flavor. The sauce that came with the scallops paired pretty well also. Our baked oysters took awhile to come out and our server had to go check to see what the delay was. When our oysters came out, I was surprise how small they were. They reminded me of Kumamoto oysters. My wife only eats baked oysters and doesn't like oysters much but she really enjoyed it. The oysters were good but for the size, I would rather have them raw than baked. Overall, our experience was a good one. We really appreciate our server for being attentive and checking up on us. The price is pretty steep for the portions so we would be back if we are in the area. We will try the entrees next time when we are around the area. Shout-out to our favorite server, Will! I've been to Wild Rose a few times now, and every visit has been amazing. The vibe here is dark, classy, and totally Instagram-worthy. The service today was exceptional--Will was so kind and even surprised my kids with a complimentary ice cream sundae, which made their night! As for the food, everything we've tried has been delicious. Their bone marrow is an absolute must (my personal favorite), and we also loved the calamari, Brussels sprouts, hamachi crudo, ribeye, wagyu slider, garlic noodles, and waygu smash burger. Honestly, we haven't had a dish here we didn't enjoy. Get the mango deck drink cuz they light it on fire for you! On top of that, their happy hour is fantastic with great prices and quality dishes. Wild Rose has definitely become one of our go-to spots, and we can't wait to come back again! Decent spot for a nice party or celebration. They will even make custom menu's for your birthday which is a nice touch. Variety of drinks is pretty varied as is the food. The mac and cheese was really good. The music does get a bit loud so it was slightly hard to hear some people in the table, but other than that, it was a flawless experience. My friends and I had a wonderful time here! I'd recommend calling in to put your name down because our estimated wait time was an hour and a half on a Friday night. I believe the total wait time took one hour. Once we were seated, I could understand why this place was poppin! This place is great for birthday celebrations, they have bar seating, and the ambiance feels like a club - colored lights and a deliberately dark setting. Service was great and the food was enjoyable! I appreciated how they offered half portions for some of the dishes and we were able to try a little bit of everything. Hamachi Crudo - Thick pieces of yellowtail topped with lemon and jalapenos covered with sauce. Very refreshing. My FAV! Fried calamari - Nicely fried. Squeeze the lemons on it and dip it in the two sauces that came with it. Excellent. Mash potatoes - garlicy and good texture. Truffle Mac n Cheese - Cheesy, creamy, gooey. Garlic Noodles - Well made. You me know, I'm big on customer service. From the greeter to the servers the customer service is A1 even on a busy Sunday Funday event (BoozieBrunch). I came here for brunch and everything was amazing. The food was so good, hot upon arrival and seasoned (veggie beef bowl, steak & eggs, chick wings, calamari, etc). You do Not I repeat you do Not need to add salt and pepper to the food. The ambiance is clean and has a nice set up. This restaurant is beautiful. This was my third time here and it's always a solid choice for happy hour! What my group got: Korean fried chicken skewers, Brussel sprouts, garlic noodles, filet mignon carpaccio, truffle fries, calamari, Mac and cheese balls. I ordered to drink: black swan and the la vie en rose. My drinks were so yum! Def recommend both! Perfectly sweet and balance and def could feel the alc in both of them! If you're into something sweet, clean and fruity both of what I got are great! The favorite of the night for me was def the Brussels sprouts - they give such a good serving size of it! The garlic noodles were okay, noodles didn't really have a bounce to it was quite soft. Skewers were def not what I expected but were great to share, it was like fried chicken cutlets with sauce on skewers, so it was easy to split up. For this dinner reservation for 5, we got sat at the same booth during our first time here. The intent of this visit was to sample the newish 40 oz Tomahawk Steak offering. Started with apps such as half a dozen Royal Miyagi Oysters from the raw bar, Fried Calamari, Wagyu Sliders and Truffle Fries. Props to the oyster presentation and sauces. It made these six half shelled mollusks taste better. For cocktails, we got the Summa' Time, Miami Vice, Fig'n Around and the fiery presented Mango Deck. These summer themed drinks were all refreshing and kick worthy. Now for tonight's pièce de résistance, the Tomahawk (a 1.1 Kg certified angus bone-in steak) paired with crispy brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes topped with rosemary cuttings and roasted candied garlic for a sweet, aromatic finish. The presentation was special compared to our other tomahawk dinners before. The part owner (forgot his name) did the torch searing show and persuaded me to do a pathetic version of Salt Bae's elbow salt sprinkle, while the executive chef sliced the meat and Antonio (with the striped shirt) served us the succulent meats and savory sides. We ended our dinner with the Crème Brûlée (another torched dish) and White Chocolate Bread Pudding. Both delicious and unnecessary :). I guess, Wild Rose always comes up with novel ideas to keep us interested in returning albeit the noisy lounge feels. read more

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and there were definitely some things we really enjoyed. The ambiance and decor were beautiful and created a really pretty atmosphere for a night out. The drinks were also great and visually really nice, and we enjoyed the calamari as well. That said, I think there may have been some miscommunication that unfortunately impacted our overall experience. A few days before our reservation, I reached out because we were celebrating a birthday and asked if there were any recommendations to make the evening feel a little extra special. The staff kindly let me know they could provide a birthday sign and dessert, which was incredibly thoughtful and honestly helped sell us on choosing this spot. When we arrived though, I don't think the birthday note on the reservation was seen or communicated. I completely understand that things happen and mistakes happen naturally, but when something special is offered beforehand and then doesn't happen, it can leave you feeling a little disappointed. The food itself was a bit mixed as well. The garlic fries unfortunately were not our favorite. They were very hard without much crispness and tasted a bit like fries that had been reheated rather than freshly made. I still want to mention that the drinks, atmosphere, and some menu items were enjoyable, and I appreciate the kindness from the staff beforehand. I'm sharing this more as feedback because I think small details and follow-through can really make a celebration feel memorable. After dinner, we ended up continuing the birthday night elsewhere where the food and service fit the experience we were hoping for. Wild Rose has happy hour Tue-Thu 5-10pm with a pretty extensive menu. We always like to try out new happy hour places, and we made a reservation for a table in the lounge for 6:30pm yesterday. They're pretty busy on a Thursday night for both happy hour and dinner. Service was friendly. Their "Elevated Duos" at $16 were pretty good deals. I ordered the steak taco with paloma and my husband had the old fashioned with wagyu slider. We both enjoyed our selections. The drinks were nice and quite strong, and my taco had two generous pieces of steak with a delicious sauce. We ordered 3 other curated bites off their happy hour menu as well. Their crab cakes were crispy and not oily. They tasted good with the non-spicy aioli. I still preferred non-deep-fried crab cakes, though. The brussel sprouts were yummy and a little on the sweeter side, no bitterness at all. The garlic noodle was perfectly cooked. It was warm, rich, creamy and very flavorful. We also ordered the decadent chocolate lava cake from the dessert menu; a perfect ending to our meal. However, I had to deduct one star because of the followings: 1. When they seated us at the high table in the lounge, they're missing 1 chair. So, they pulled a bar stool, which was too high, from the bar for me, saying that they would swap my chair with one at the proper height when it became available. We were seated oddly at different heights for a while, and none of the chairs near us were freed up even after our drinks arrived. Fortunately, another staff member checked in with us, and found a proper chair from the back. Not sure why they didn't find that chair before our reservation time, nor offered us seats at the bar instead. Maybe the front of the house was just inexperienced. 2. While we enjoyed the lively vibe at the restaurant, it was just too loud. In order to have a conversation, we had to either lean forward or repeat ourselves a lot. 3. It would be better if they had brought us the spoons for our dessert separately instead of leaving them on top of the dessert itself. We ended up having chocolate sauce all over our hands while picking up the spoons. :-( We would still like to come back and try other items on their menu. Hopefully, we would have a better experience next time. read more

It was my second time and my friend's first time here. She made great recommendations and it didn't disappoint! For drinks, we got a mango deck (smokey), Miami vice (like), lime & leaf, and honey bear. Oyster rockefeller -- baked garlicky goodness! Poké tuna tacos -- just ok. Kinda fishy for me. Citrus scallops -- perfectly cooked and filling. Korean fried chicken -- nice crispy chicken with garlic noodles! Honestly worth it! I will definitely be back here! We drove over an hour and a half away to try this place, I have been seeing it all over TikTok. When we arrived it was around 4:50pm and they don't open until 5 so we waited outside until the doors open. Right when we walked in the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, our waitress was amazing! Customer service here is a 10. We immediately noticed the decor, it was very aesthetically pleasing. After reviewing the menu, I ordered a drink recommended by our waitress which was very good, then my husband ordered an old fashion that was presented on fire. Very fun, but he also ordered the 40 for 40 which is not worth the price, we thought it was going to come on fire or with something cool but it didn't, it came with chocolate and oranges. I do not recommend. Now for the food, the Rockefeller oysters 8/10 Fried shrimp 9/10 Salmon mash and asparagus 8/10 Garlic noodles and steak 7.5/10 The garlic noodles were a little too sweet but overall good.
