A pretty mocktail that looked prettier than it tasted. Green something..

Came here a couple times for birthday celebrations so it's safe to say this place is good for that. The menu here isn't bad while some items are better than others. I ordered oysters fries and a mocktail (mid) I tried my friends gnocchi which was yummy since I'm typically not a fan. The ceviche tostadas I would get those are yummy! The garlic noodles looked mid. They tasted just ok. I really like the vibe here. Service has never been a problem other than people's food not arriving on time all together. A couple people were still waiting on garlic noodles which is a simple dish. I recommend not getting the fries. They are horrible and a waist of money. This place is a good place to come celebrate any special occasions. What I love most is the cute birthday signs they put at your table. And they light a very nice candle making your moment feel extra special.

Great experience but be warned - it's a VERY noisy place! I wouldn't bring anyone who is hard of hearing. Food was absolutely delicious. We shared a lot. Tried the steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, bone marrow and yellowfin appetizer. I got the spicy margarita and it was VERY spicy! Even the two people I went with who have a spice tolerant palate found it too spicy. Service was timely and friendly.

It was way too loud in here to enjoy dinner, and the service also felt super rushed. I got the salmon, and while it tasted good it wasn't anything special. I also tried the mushroom ravioli, and honestly it tasted just like the Costco mushroom ravioli. My favorite thing was the hamachi crudo! The truffle fries also didn't really taste like truffle, and they weren't crispy. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was cute, but I'm not sure I'd come back.

Very nice ambiance, as one side seemed more of a dinner and date setting while the other was more casual and had a sports bar feel to it. Some of the seating were odd because the table was really low and so was the chair, so I was a little uncomfortable and had no back rest. The drinks were fire, and they have a happy hour from 5pm-10pm where some of the drinks are $14 each and they are STRONG! The food, on the other hand, was very subpar. I would definitely come back for some delicious cocktails but maybe pass on the food.

Ambiance: very hip, modern lighting and decor. There's three seating areas: standard, lounge, and bar. For happy hour, only lounge and bar is available. We chose lounge and was sat next to a bar in a two-person table. The chair and everything was comfortable, but the table was a bit small. With the menu, candle, water glasses, and personal plates, it seemed like it can only comfortable hold one appetizer. There are various tv screens for sport viewings. One complaint was that the AC could have been running higher. Was a bit warm. Service: service was great. Was checked on throughout the night by multiple people. Water refilled and drink orders taken timely. They also package Togo food for you. Food: - Calamari (3/5): was a bit soggy and cold. They provided two sauces, which was nice. Also provided both the rings and tubes. - Tried multiple drinks between me and my partner and didn't have a complaint. The Mango drink has a cool little fire show and and I loved the strawberry in the Miami Vice! Note: happy hour tues-thurs 5-10pm. Don't miss it!

I fear I don't like this place at all. Too dark, too loud, too many tvs, and the food is just straight up mid at best, and always messes up my stomach. This is definitely a classic type of SJ spot, read: for taking photos and being seen. Cocktails are actually really good so this is a good spot to go in a group. Service is also hit and miss. Servers are good, but they have them running all over the restaurant covering crazy sections.

Drinks are pretty good. Food is solid/ok. It's decent but nothing insane or very creative. We had a seafood tower, captains catch, and two for roasted ribeye. I will say this tho... The portions are very fair and for that price it was able to feed 13 people with leftovers. I would def recommend going for the vibes and celebrations.

I've visited this bar a few times and have had a good experience each time! I really liked the mango deck cocktail and wagyu sliders.

Came here for a work outing. First time here, and I have to say I enjoyed almost every dish. The ceviche and pastas were memorable. I think they could work in the fries. Drinks were excellent and the service was fast. Cute restaurant and good music.

Came in on a Friday night with some friends for dinner and this place is a vibe! We were greeted promptly and seated. We started with the wagyu sliders and calamari and the sliders were amazing. Juicy, flavorful, and perfect. The calamari was crispy and fresh and the sauce was perfect! I am disappointed I didn't get a picture but I did get a video of their table side tomahawk... and let me tell you it was a show and something you need to experience. Cooked to perfection and tender with so much flavor! If you want to see the video I have it... hit me up :) We also wanted to be somewhat healthy and ordered a side of broccolini which was al dente and had a nice coat of salt for taste. The beet salad was also a touch of crispness. We ended the night with the tray of deserts and the bread pudding was by far the winner. All the others were good but the bread pudding was the star! Ben and Issac and their staff are attentive, friendly and professional. They each have their opinions of what they like and tailor their recommendations based on customer feedback. Would highly encourage anyone to try this place as the food and people are top notch!

    Happy Hour Menu
    Eric I.

Extensive happy hour menu (see pic). We ordered several dishes and all were quite good. I ordered the Whiskey and Wagyu Elevated Duo ($16) which was one Wagyu slider with an Old Fashioned drink. The drink was nice and classy, and full strength! Nice. The slider, honestly, I couldn't tell whether it was Wagyu or not - once you grind beef and cook it, whatever quality the Wagyu brings as a cut of beef is lost in the process. But it was still a good slider. We also had Brussels sprouts, tasty and allowed us to feel we were eating some veggies. The crab cakes were on the smaller side, but delicious. The garlic noodles I wasn't expecting a lot from, but were just as good as all the other dishes. Finally, the lava cake was done just right. Perfect cook, nice sweetness, the only flaw being that there wasn't enough ice cream to go with the cake. Service was efficient and friendly, the place is decorated classily and it wasn't excessively noisy. It's great to have a Happy Hour that lasts so long, and the trade off between only having it limited days but for extended hours is a fair one. So all in all, a very nice meal and cocktails. We enjoyed it very much and would be happy to dine here again!

    Jean M.

Great food and a great overall experience! Our server had such positive energy that she made the whole dinner enjoyable, even with a few delays. Special thanks to Melanie for recommending this place. We left happy and satisfied, and we'd definitely come back. The only thing I'd improve is the table... they're very low and a bit uncomfortable, even for shorter people.

    Chicken skewers
    Ruben P.

The food is very good ( sorry no too much pictures) we got chicken skewers and fried calamari good potions and reasonable price. The American Kobe beef mush burger is very good but pricy ($30.00) The service in the beginning was slow but then speed up and was very good and friendly. The ambience is nice and modern, soft lights but too noisy. Very loudly........

Do they allow kids in the lounge area for happy hour? It's my wedding anniversary and we'd like to come here but would need to take our 6 year old daughter.

    Is there parking garage nearby?

There's a garage in downtown campbell which is maybe a 5-10 min walk and some street parking!

    Need reservation on Friday?

    I'd recommend

    Do I need a reservation?

It depends on what day of the week you decide to go, reservations are easily made on open table.

Is there bottomless mimosas during brunch weekend?

    Yes

Would it be bad to bring my kids to this restaurant?? 6 and 11 year old.

Not really! It becomes congested with young adults during the night time but early on it should be ok to bring kids

Hello is your restaurant kid friendly?

Hi Michelle, That is a great question! Families with children are more than welcome to come to Wild Rose. I highly recommend the sliders. My children love them!…

Does the pappardelle dish have dairy or if you remove the cheese it can be dairy free (no cheese/butter/milk/ etc)? Thanks?

Is Happy Hour pricing available when sitting at a table in the restaurant? Or is HH only for when you are sitting in the bar area?

Hello! That is a great question! We offer Happy Hour everywhere in the restaurant! So if you would like to sit in the Lounge Area, Dining, or the Bar, it is entirely up to you! Cheers!

Do you need to show ID if you only want to eat at the restaurant and not have drinks?

You are only asked for your ID if you are ordering alcohol

    May 5th party of 4 at 6:45?

    Are kids allowed for dinner?

Hi Crystal, That is a great question and we do get asked that a lot. Yes, children are allowed for dinner.…

What would you rate it on the money scale?

Depends if this is your first stop before heading to other places. Some of their meals are shareable appetizers or a two person serving. Money scale $-$$.

    Do you take reservations?

They take reservations of 6 guests or more.

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes! Tuesday-Thursday 5-7

When is this place opening up already?! That "coming soon in 2022" signage has been up for at least…

The grand opening was late September!

I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.

I don't have much to add on that statement besides they never hit. We have come on nights where the service is poor, hard to get a bartender's attention even with no line and the drinks are gross. I wanted to share a concern about a recent visit to The Cedar Room. During my time there, I observed a male manager or supervisor interacting with staff in a way that came across as rude, disrespectful, and belittling. Witnessing an employee being spoken to that way in front of guests created an uncomfortable atmosphere and reflected poorly on the overall experience. What made the situation even more disappointing was that after speaking to staff in this manner, the manager spent what appeared to be an extended period of time outside the front of the restaurant talking on his cellphone instead of being present on the floor. I believe employees deserve to be treated with respect, especially in front of guests. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as leadership sets the tone for both the workplace and the guest experience.

No big deal, as I wanted the bar anyway, but something others should keep in mind. The cocktail list is plentiful and intriguing. I tend to avoid tequila, so that eliminated a good chunk of the options. I went with Rose Colored Lenses, which was fantastic, and decently sized. Presentation was beautiful. My friend had All a Dream, also very good. The wine offerings are minimal, this is very much a cocktail or champagne type of place, with caviar being the primary food service. Speaking of service, the bartender was excellent, both in his mixology and demeanor. It took awhile to get the drinks, but I assume that was due to the complexity of the cocktails, paired with having just opened the doors a few min earlier. Two notes: 1. The barstools were a little too low, imo. I don't normally pay much attention to that detail, but these were uncomfortably low for me, even with my long torso, I was hyper aware of my posture. So maybe that's actually a good thing 2. Other patrons were rolling in shortly behind me, so there is probably an early crowd when they first open, then a late night group that appreciates the 2am closing time. Interior is beautiful, and you can use the steps up to the 2nd floor either from N Santa Cruz or the rear parking lot off W Main. More substantial food options are a mere few steps across the hall at Heritage.

The shows are choreographed by the owner of the bar & by the end of the night, the entire staff has been in at least 1 number. These dance numbers are SOOO fun & SOOO good! There is no where in San Jose that is doing what this place doing. The staff comes around & gives shots (plus a show, obvi), also there is a certain drink you can order where they will put on a show for you as well. There is a dance floor for dancing & the DJ is great at reading a room! I cannot believe how fun this place is, or how it is not PACKED yet. Skip your silly little bars & get down here ASAP. The menu is pretty big, & while I have no had food here yet, the menu drinks are great! If you are looking for a super great time with full entertainment, look no further. This please is fabulous!

My husband and I had a baby free night out to celebrate my birthday and haberdasher did not disappoint. We went soon after opening so there was no line but I know they tend to have one later in the evening. We were greeted warmly at the door by the attendant who checked our ids. I was even wished a happy early birthday. When going into the bar, you walk down a staircase into a space that makes you forget you're in downtown San Jose with beautiful reds and burgundy decor. The staff is all smartly dressed; the bartender and bar back were both sweet and funny. I ordered a jack rose (my all time favorite), their seasonal watermelon waltz (this may be a new favorite for me, nice and refreshing) and one of their zero proof cocktails called a Mariposa which was soooo good as well. My husband ordered a couple old fashioned and a watermelon waltz for himself. We had an amazing time and look forward to coming back in the future.

And they don't allow outside food in even if the food was leftover in Togo bags from dinner. The place was busy when we finally went inside. But the bartenders were fast and we got two rounds of drinks as far as we could order. The dim lighting did look reddish. The large tables were reserved but there plenty of smaller high tops around. Memorable drinks were the perfect pear and the Andean Ascent. Perfect pear was not fruity at all and had a nice aroma and spice to it. The Andean ascent was a nice drink to start with, refreshing with a bit of fizz.
