The Haris Ranch Filet

The food, service, and ambience are top-notch recommend We tried the branzino and the Harris Ranch filet both were perfect. The wedge salad and the lamb chops were so good, and for dessert, we tried their bread pudding; so yummy

The ambiance feels upscale but still comfortable. Service was excellent from start to finish and the tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly with tons of flavor. Great place for a nice dinner or special occasion.

Food was nicely seasoned and presented. Service was great, the indoor dining was fully booked the day we came in. You can tell that this place is beloved the neighborhood. The ambiance is nice and you can have a nice walk after your meal. Ordered a lot of food because we wanted to try everything, and ALL turned out well prepared and seasoned. Enjoyed the butter on the steak and all this side dishes, particularly, the first sushi and hamachi. The old Fashion was also mixed to my liking. Overall great restaurant. Book reservation early, they often get very very full.

This is one of my very favorite new American restaurants! Ever since going I've told countless people about it and will definitely be returning. Loved this restaurant because everything was done to perfection and had multiple homemade parts. We tried the pork chops with the homemade tzatziki and that was fantastic!! Would 10/10 order again. Another huge hit was the bacon cornbread bites. Something you really can't recreate at home better than this and highly recommend. We also got the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle. We ate every bite and it was delicious, but if I were to go again I might swap this out for something else. Lastly, if you're there when they have their seasonal peach salad, that was a must get for me. The fried goat cheese on top was truly divine. The service was exceptional. We had a fabulous, very attentive and kind waitress. The ambiance was nice. We were seated out on the patio and it was charming and cozy, quiet enough for it to still feel like a romantic date night. I will for sure be back. Love the experience we got here from start to finish.

Came here on a weekday evening and it was fairly crowded. The setting inside is super nice and there's indoor and outdoor seating. I got the veggie papardelle. I really like the noodle shape but the sauce was kind of lacking in flavor. Not sure if I'd get again or try something else. The service is amazing here and our server was great.

HRK is one of my most favorite local restaurants, I love coming here myself and also introducing it to friends. The vibe is casual but thoughtfully done; not disappointing for a romantic dinner or special occasion but also impossible to feel underdressed in. Our server was great: funny, checked in often, and had excellent suggestions. I've always enjoyed the drinks at HRK but this time I was blown away! I ordered the Tropical Like its Hot and I loved the perfect amount of heat in it and the passion fruit flavor. Friends ordered 4 other drinks that I tried and I would've happily had their choices as well! I'm picky about cocktails and I couldn't believe that I enjoyed enjoyed every one that I tried! We had the truffle fries and lamp chops as appetizers. The lamb chops were mouth watering and memorable, absolutely cooked to perfection. I wish the truffle fries had more truffle flavor but I know that's not everyone's preference. For entrees, thee of us split the halibut and the risotto with scallops (basically we asked to add scallops to the risotto). Both plates were perfection. The scallops were perfectly cooked (as always), the halibut was tender and flavorful, and the risotto had nuances in every bite that I savored. Lastly, we split the Carmel popcorn sundae and butter cake for dessert. I am very much not a butter cake person yet I think this is such a special end to a meal; you start enjoying it by scent alone the second the plate hits the table! The caramel sundae was also very nice, good flavor and textures. So happy to have HRK as a local incredible restaurant; it's such a special place!

Salmon (sorry, blurry photo).

The service was impeccable. They had a great wine list. Highly recommend the Flowers Pinot Noir. The highlight of a dish was the chicken sliders. I didn't think I would like them, but I really enjoyed the sauce. I got the salmon and while it was good, I think it was lacking something. The goat cheese was on top and it was fried. The patio was not as romantic as I was hoping. My date and I both had to use the restroom. The drawback is that because it's outside and only 2, I feel like we spent most of the time waiting in line. I think for a restaurant of this nature they need full restrooms. I would probably be back but only off peak, or maybe just pop into the bar.

Spontaneously came here for dinner and it was delicious. I started with the tomato salad and it was so fresh and flavorful. The burrata was creamy and the crostini was the perfect vehicle for it all. The street corn was perfectly tangy, sweet, and spicy. Love that the corn is fresh off the cob. I also ordered a side of onion rings with the poblano aioli and they were great together. My partner enjoyed his non-vegetarian dishes. The bloomade (a tea cocktail was very light and refreshing). Service was excellent. Richard was helpful and attentive. The patio is very comfortable. They have plastic screens and heaters. Plenty of vegetarian options and pet-friendly. We'll be back!

Haven't had a dinner this great in a LONG time which was a shocker because I've had nothing but bad experiences at their sister restaurant next door. My friend came to hero ranch a month ago and loved it so much she decided to have her birthday dinner there. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. We were seated outside right on time for our reservation. The patio was cute and inviting. Immediately we got fantastic service from both our waitress and the support staff. We started with the octopus, sushi bites and burrata. The sushi bites came with 3 but we added two more. We all loved them. The octopus was cooked perfectly and the salad pairing was great. The burrata was nothing to write home about since it's a simple dish but still yummy. For my entree I had the sea bass. It was SO good. The portion was great and I loved the white sauce they put on there. My friends got the porkchop (maybe the best porkchop I've ever had?) the rigatoni, and the filet. For the table we got Brussels and truffle fries. There was nothing that we didn't love. For dessert they gave us a complimentary butter cake and popcorn ice cream. Super unique and delicious. Overall I LOVED hero ranch. It is a little on the pricier side but it is meant to be a nice restaurant and I can appreciate that they actually have good sized portions. I can't wait to come back.

We've been going to The Hero Ranch Kitchen for quite some time now, and we try to visit at least once a month, if not twice. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and professional, and they always go out of their way to take care of their customers. I can only think of wonderful things to say about the entire team. We've never felt rushed, and the food is impeccable. My favorite dishes -- and my daughter's -- are the pan‑seared salmon and the pan‑seared halibut. My partner loves the Black Angus burger and Mary's rosemary chicken. The stuffed mushrooms and the fried chicken with cornbread are our favorite shared plates, and the berry cobbler is our go‑to dessert. The ambiance is warm and inviting. We always dine outside, and the heat lamps, blankets, and cozy chairs make it perfect. This is truly our favorite restaurant, and we will continue to come often.

All of the food was delicious! Our waitress forgot our appetizers but she ended up gifting us a dessert in the end! We ended up sitting outside and the weather was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for a weeknight dinner and was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We sat indoor as it was raining a bit (they have an outdoor area that would be quite nice in the summer). Ordered an appetizer, a salad, and a fish entree for both of us and all of them were quite delicious. The server was attentive and recommended us some dishes (we ordered the fish and dessert he recommended). For Bay Area, this restaurant is actually quite reasonably priced., Will definitely come back again to try other dishes (maybe the tomahawk steak when we have a larger party).

Halibut entree; delicious!

The service was warm, energetic, and welcoming from start to finish, beginning with the front desk and continuing through the attentive staff at our table. Every appetizer felt like a conversation piece, taking familiar ingredients and presenting them in creative ways with unexpected textures and flavor combinations. One standout dish featured burrata stuffed inside a hollowed out tomato, which was both clever and genuinely fun to eat. The misoyaki cod was an exceptional interpretation of the classic miso cod, perfectly prepared and deeply flavorful. For dessert, the panna cotta with raspberry sauce was easily my favorite, light, silky, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and a memorable night out.

There could have been a tad more salmon but it was so fresh. Seriously more fresh and buttery than the sushi restaurant down the street. Tuna tacos - 5/5 my favorite! Crispy wonton tacos stuffed with fresh tuna, along with creamy wasabi and sriracha aioli. Miso Cod - 4/5 this would be soo good but the miso was so salty. Maybe it was an off night. For cocktails, hummingbird was so delish - not too sweet and like with everything else, the presentation was top notch.

Their menu is small but each item is intentional and clearly has a lot of thought put into it I went there for brunch this weekend and I loved everything. It comes on its own if you're not feeling super hungry, but of course I opted to add a very generously sized pile of show string fries to my meal. We tried 4 of their brunch cocktails and all of them were excellent; the basil punch, Hugo spritz, peach Bellini, and another drink that I can't remember the name of that had gin. All of the cocktails were well balanced with bright citrus, a decent amount of liquor, and not too sweet. My favorite was the basil punch, which tasted like a very elevated limeade. Definitely recommend sitting on their large patio, the restaurant is called park side for a reason! If it's too hot or one of the few rainy days in California, they have ample seating inside as well. The service was excellent and our servers were friendly, attentive, and offered to bring things like additional condiments without us having to ask.

The cinnamon roll pancakes were insane, fluffy, and topped with a cream that made it feel like dessert in the best way. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was perfectly crispy with so much flavor, and paired so well with the sauce. We also got the BBB (bacon, bread & butter), and the bacon alone was unreal thick, caramelized, and honestly one of the best parts of the whole meal. The tater tot poutine was pure comfort food but a bit overwhelming with the amount of gravy and cheese making everything much soggier than I liked. I'd definitely leave that dish behind next time. The spicy noodle dish with the jammy egg and chili oil sauce was also a hit. It was simple but packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat for a good appetizer. We also got a jug of mimosas (strawberry guava + passion fruit mango), which were so good--light, refreshing, and perfect for brunch. Parking wasn't too bad at 6pm (we could park in the middle areas of the hotel parking lot) but by the time we left, the parking lot was full. She provided us with recommendations at the top and when we were asking questions about getting multiple dishes family-style, she provided feedback on whether it would be enough for the table. We felt well-attended to. Asa does rotate through their menu and the main downside was timing for us! My sister really wanted the carbonara she had seen on the menu but they had literally switched over to their spring menu. No carbonara for my sis. :( We shared: Jamon Iberico (good, straightforward), Caesar salad (I wish I had had my own! Really well dressed), trumpet mushrooms (the vinegar was a little too strong for my sister but I thought it was tasty and delicious), cauliflower (sister's favorite dish), spring pasta à la vodka (good, although it didn't particularly stand out in my opinion), exotic mushroom rigatoni (delicious!) and my favorite, the Argentine steak. The chimichurri sauce was perfect to balance out the meat, and I loved dipping the fries in the remnants of the sauce. Only 2 of us got dessert and we both chose the olio nuevo ice cream. Thank you, valet guy! Once seated, we marveled at the beautiful setting and service. We had a nice table against the window and our expert server, Eli, was warm, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. Actually everyone on the staff was kind and attentive, and they all seemed to enjoy their jobs which you don't see too often these days. From start to finish the food was exceptional. The canapés in the 1st course were amazing and my favorite bite of the night was the tiny delicate pillow canapé with goat cheese and agave. Then for course #2 my wife had oysters and I went with a porcini mushroom orecchiette. we loved the pastas we used to get when the less formal sister restaurant Pasta Armelino used to be across the street, and this pasta would have been perfect for that menu. I had the Ling Cod entree and my wife had the duck. If we had to name 1 critical note about our experience at the Plumed Horse it would be that both of our main courses seemed a little bland. My wife would have wanted some acidity in her duck dish like from a fruit like cherry or plum, which are often paired with duck. Similarly my Ling Cod wanted something more too, whether spice or sweetness or something. But both dishes were cooked perfectly- we were just left wanting a little bit more. A highlight of the meal was our Pommes Paillasson side, which is like extra crispy French fries but with rich mashed potatoes in the middle. Heavenly. We finished with amazing desserts - my wife had an apple soufflé and I had a deconstructed s'mores - both were amazing. We had champagne toasts (my wife had a traditional champagne and mine was without alcohol), a glass of wine (wife), a spirit-free cocktail (me again), amazing food and an excellent experience. Lurvely meal.
