When he attempted to walk away after taking our drink orders, we had to stop him to place our food order as well. Our drinks then took an additional 20 minutes to arrive. They were only brought out after I asked a passing bartender for assistance, who then had to locate our server and remind him that our table had not received our drinks. Unfortunately, the issues continued with the food. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the fried calamari is made with imitation squid, and the quality of the remaining dishes was unacceptable. My quesadilla appeared to have been microwaved, resulting in one half being cold while the other half was excessively hot. My mother's flautas were soggy, falling apart, and not served at an acceptable standard. Additionally, we requested waters from our server three separate times, and they were never brought to our table, as well as refills of the drinks we currently had were never offered. What was most disappointing was seeing other tables that were seated after us receive attentive service while our table was repeatedly overlooked. I would appreciate clarification regarding what happened during our visit and how this situation will be addressed moving forward.

The taste was definitely very garlicky, but the dish could have been much better with an al dente pasta tossed in an actual garlic butter or olive oil. * HH Wagyu Smash Burger -- This was yum! Great flavor, nicely grilled served on a toasted soft brioche bun. ($15 on HH versus $32 witha side of fries on the Dinner Menu :o) * HH Hamachi Crudo -- This was superb! Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. What made the situation even more disappointing was that after speaking to staff in this manner, the manager spent what appeared to be an extended period of time outside the front of the restaurant talking on his cellphone instead of being present on the floor. I believe employees deserve to be treated with respect, especially in front of guests. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as leadership sets the tone for both the workplace and the guest experience.
