Changing my current view of the location. They have a frequent buyer app that provides good discounts now . Getting a quality drink at a reasonable price is great and very appreciated in this economy. Have been going at least twice a week now. Recommend people get the app and order from there to get the discounts and the quality drinks with good boba!
My son loves this place. Must be good since he is really picky and won't share with me lol. There's always a line here so it's best to try this place on a weekday. Highly recommend the strawberry smoothie.
Easy to order on the tablet. Got my usual milk tea half sweet. Drink was good. And made fast even though they were busy. A little pricey but I added an additional topping. Parking is no fun here but lots to walk around and shop at, once you are in.

It is a small corner boba store. The whole service took about 30min to order and receive drinks. Ordered a passion fruit green tea which was phenomenal. Also got Milk tea with salt cream (not pictured). We asked for 70% sweetness on the milk tea and when we tried it, it had no sugar. We told the worker and they were more than willing to remake our drink. Service like this makes me want to return!
Our go to place for boba and fruity drinks. There was a line about 30min wait from line to getting our drinks. We ordered three of their drinks: Chunky Mango Slush, 30% sweet - great drink for the hot weather! Super refreshing and the perfect sweetness for us. The mango chunks were super tasty and sweet and didn't taste artificial at all. Tropical Special, 30% sweet - a bit on the sweet side, but still a very tasty and refreshing drink. The tea flavor was great, boba was ever so slightly too hard, but not bad. Mango Pomelo Sago Smoothie, 30% sweet - A+ rating! exactly what we wanted from this drink. Well blended and perfect balance of all the flavors. Only thing is that it is a bit too sweet even though we got 30% sweetness. Service was alright. Not very attentive in noticing customers waiting to pick up their order. But I also understand they're really busy. We were also a bit disappointed the drinks came in a hot drink container instead of the transparent containers, so it didn't look like the advertised drinks. Overall, drinks are tasty!
Quality has gone downhill now. We used to like this place but not any more. They are doing the "non dairy creamer bullcrap" just like Sharetea, if you want real cow milk you have to pay extra $.80. They are officially milking. WT? Terrible taste! Undercooked boba. Smaller size. Did not like it at all. Do not recommend. Will not return.
Pearl Milk Tea Judgment: B+ tea is present and available to mix with cream to produce that milky, almost nutty texture and flavor (like a slightly more sugary pmt at Happy Lemon with the aftertaste reined in a lil) it's a good mix and I can't exactly distinguish the tea perfectly but it's there like Jae is in 노력해볼께 live ver. on the last acapella part (not the main event and not even the 2nd most noticeable voice since imo Wonpil and Young K are def the most easily distinguishable out of the 5 but something would be very off and missing if Jae was not there in the mix) not much else to say except that it's just a good time and honestly a good gauge of what I would call a solid pmt that's easy to drink on the sweeter side but I appreciate it solid pearls filled to the top :) clean cup $6.29 + $0.23 kiosk fee 3/24/25 ngl the rating is a lil shocking for me since my memory of Coco is bitterness from the Cupertino location long ago and maybe I experienced a fluke of a perfect storm of conditions which is ironic considering a quote that used to be on their website (see below) I originally wrote this review a long time ago when I started writing out my thoughts so the format and wording is a lil more raw and stream of consciousness but my feelings about my experience stayed the same this time around the quote: "A successful brand came from the insistence on the perfection of every handcrafted beverage, not by fluke, nor by luck." - Chairman Tommy Hung
Definitely a hit or miss place. I've gotten a couple fruit drinks here before and it was pretty good. The milk tea, however, is meh. I did not like their toppings at all. CoCo is known for being the most affordable (aka cheapest) place to get boba and tea drinks in Taiwan. In fact, I used to get it pretty often when I visited as a student, so I was excited to hear it's opening here. Their pricing point is kind of a bummer, but it is to be expected. They need to survive in Valley Fair, and I'm sure the rent is not cheap. The line does get pretty long, so order ahead if you can. They have partnership with various apps, and a couple of them do offer discounts - that's one of the main reason why I'm keeping it at 3 stars.

This place exceeds my expectations for the coco brand. They offer much more variety - non caffeine, seasonal etc. The flavor also came just right on. There's plenty of seats there and it's a good half point stop in the giant mall. The staff was very handy and quick in preparing drinks. You can also order on apps and I see a lot of remote order and pick up. In general this feels like a busy street side place just like in China! With good vibes and environment!
I got the large Passionfruit green tea 50% sweetness and less ice. It is pretty refreshing and my order came out very quickly. Has a subtle green tea taste but the Passionfruit flavor isn't too strong either. I happened to walk by and see that they were having a special for some drinks at $2.99 each which was a good deal.

Hot day, convenient spot in the mall! Coco is your average boba spot that can either hit or miss. Fortunately, this was a hit regardless of the hard boba. I got the 3 guys milk tea which is milk tea with boba, pudding, and grass jelly. The pudding was deliciously soft and honestly the best part of the drink. Unfortunately, the boba was hard and the grass jelly tasted store bought. The milk tea also isn't the best and lacks tea flavor. read more
Not a good experience. Kiosk didn't have the mango pomelo drink we wanted, told staff, and they said it was on there...obviously wasn't. Tried other kiosk, and it had it, so systems aren't updating. But also, probably a sign not to order. Drank and tossed it since it wasn't good and only tried it after getting to parking lot and didn't want to bring it back. Lesson learned, take a sip in the shop first for new places to see if they can change it. Green tea was below avg, pearls and tea jelly were not good. Took a long time for drinks to come out when there wasn't many people. L Mango Pomelo Sago Smoothie $7.50 L Green Tea with pearls and tea jelly $6.80 Parking in the mall structure. Some seating inside. Best to avoid this Coco location. The Milpitas location is definitely better. read more

I got the large Passionfruit green tea 50% sweetness and less ice. It is pretty refreshing and my order came out very quickly. Has a subtle green tea taste but the Passionfruit flavor isn't too strong either. My friend and I were shopping at Valley Fair and stopped by to get some boba. I ordered the Sago Mango Green Tea (70% sweet) and she got the Mango Yakult (70% sweet). Ordering is self-service, there were maybe maximum 12 people in the shop and 5 employees, and we still waited for 30 minutes to get our drinks. Once we got our drinks, the sago was undercooked/hard and the drink was extremely sweet. After drinking a little more, I realized I wasn't only crunching on the hard sago, but on sugar that was pilled up at the bottom of my drink (pictured). Overall, I would not recommend this place and would suggest getting boba elsewhere. read more
I haven't had CoCo since I was in Taiwan years ago and was pleasantly surprised to find this while shopping at Valley Fair over the holidays. I ordered their Pearl Milk Tea and the Mango Yakult with boba. Both drinks were made pretty quickly even though they were busy. The drinks were made with the perfect sweetness and the boba was firm but chewy. We really enjoyed the little pick me up and will definitely visit again the next time we are at the mall. read more

Visited Coco at VFair with my friendsfor the first time yesterday on a whim. It was my first time visiting this location. I wasn't really feeling milk tea, so I ordered an iced passionfruit green tea (75% sweet, less ice). There were quite a few people in the store, but it wasn't too busy. We waited in line for about 10 minutes before ordering, and our drinks were served in under 5 minutes. There are a couple indoor seats and tables if you want to hang out too. Passionfruit Green Tea: 4/5 It was pretty good, but too sweet for me. I ordered at 75% sweetness, so I'd recommend going 50% or 25%. Otherwise, it was pretty solid tbh. (In my experience, it's hard to find a milk tea place that gets this drink wrong?) Mango Yakult: 3/5 I tried my friend's mango yakult and it tasted like mango calpico?? They could've honestly served us Calpico (which is cheaper) and we wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. *shrug* You can find a bottle of mango Calpico so half the price, so not worth it imo. There's also a fridge full of Yakult which was oddly surprising, but interesting. read more

5/28/22 I was craving something sweet and the only place that wasn't crazy busy or still open was CoCo Fresh Tea and Juice. We had our dog Coco with us so we just had to take a picture of her outside the storefront. There were only two or three people ahead of me. When it was my turn, I ordered a Jasmine brown sugar pearl milk tea. I didn't have to wait long for the drink to be ready. The drink itself was average. The boba was a little on the chewier side, sugar level was on point and it satisfied my sugar craving. It wasn't the best boba I've had so I don't think I will be returning. read more
Pretty good boba shop, especially for one that's in the mall. I notice that boba shops in the mall don't really taste as good as if they were outside on their own, but CoCo Tea is actually solid. It is creamy and the boba is good. I would say that the tea could be a bit stronger because as I drink it, it seems like the flavor goes away pretty quickly. Otherwise, probably one of the better boba shops in Valley Fair Mall. read more

I'm a boba novice so sometimes I get flustered when ordering boba because of all the different options. But the menu at CoCo was well organized by teas, fruits, slush, and Yakult. Addition of toppings is .50 to $1. The store itself is right outside of Macys with some seating inside and a seating area outside. There was a little line when I arrived, but the line moved quickly and the workers were very efficient. I got the Sago Taro milk tea and really enjoyed it. It was pretty sweet, and I forgot to ask if I could have reduced sugar. On the other hand, they didn't ask either, so not sure if that's an option. Overall, it's a cute little shop and a great way to take a break from shopping. read more

Walking around Valley Fair, I needed something to sip on and decided to get boba from CoCo. I haven't had CoCo in a minute since not a lot of locations are around where I'm from in SoCal. Nothing really stood out to me from the menu so I opted for a harmless taro milk tea with boba. I wish I had adjusted to less sweetness because of how overly sweet the standard sweetness was! It was alright but I ultimately couldn't finish the rest of my drink because of how strong the sweet taste was. read more

Stopped by to get a warm drink. Got std milk tea with 30%sugar, hot, house milk , sago, lychee popping. Staff never greeted us but whatever. We just used the kiosk. Ambiance was just there. No music, decent lighting. Just ok. Order ready quickly, like 2-3 min., as not busy. Drink was nice, not really hot but warm, and probably could have done without the lychee popping dots. Overall enjoyable. Would consider ordering this drink or another warm drink just to try. read more

Was looking for a boba place after eating lunch and found this place near Macy's in the Westfield mall. There was a long line so we decided to try it out! I like how they have a decent menu with a variety of drinks. However, I did think the drinks were average. Ordered: Peach Sparkling Drink and Mango Yakult I ended up getting the seasonal peach sparkling drink because it looked aesthetic on the menu. However, when I got the drink it was not pink at all. I was a bit disappointed and was catfished. The drink was also pretty pricey. I ended up seeing that they put 7UP to make it look sparking with peaches. My friend ended up getting the Mango Yakult drink and thought it was decent and refreshing. They also had limited space if you wanted to sit. I recommend sitting outside if you do not want it to be cramped. Overall, It was just ok. Not sure if I would come back. read more
At Valley Fair you'll find a handful of Boba Tea shops & Coco Fresh seems to have a very fresh fruit juice blend. Orders: Passionfruit Black Tea w.Boba- This was like home-made with real Passionfruit joins incorporated into the Black Tea. Not only did the flavors stay true to its name, but the black tea was a nice brisk tasting tea that added a nice after taste to the tea. Tropical Green Tea w.Boba- I felt like this tasted like Passionfruit & at 50% sweetness was still a little too sweet but the flavors were still spot on. I like Coco in the City & this location holds the same standard so when I'm at Valley Fair, be sure to stop by Coco's. read more

We first found CoCo Fresh when we were on vacation in Toronto. Was so happy to see that a location had opened in Valley Fair! The standard pearl milk tea is on point. The boba is chewy and fresh, not sitting around in a pot all day getting soggy. The milk tea is on the sweeter side, so I order 25% less sugar than I typically get at other boba shops. The fruity non-milk tea is also delicious. The service can be pretty slow even when there's not that many people in line for some reason. Overall the quality and taste is good, great for a leisurely shopping day at VF. read more
It's really not as bad as people make it out to be. You have to come here expecting that the drinks are freshly brewed/the day of, and not made with syrups or powder (what many are used to). The black tea is definitely refreshing. Lines were a bit slow moving (possibly due to staff shortage, only three employees with at least 20 people in line) at around 4pm on a Sunday. read more
One of the best boba I ever had. I know boba tea's probably look and the same idea in each store but what i really liked about this one is the actual taste of TEA sometimes they add little tea or too much milk that makes it diluted but this one have the person taste and amount of tea and sugar and boba. We ordered through a machine and picked it from the counter its faster and easier. The workers are fast and the seating is good for a quick drink. read more

I've had the most disturbing experience at a retail establishment. This entire ordeal lasted for approximately three hours, so please excuse me if it rambles on. I went to Cocos and bought tea for my son and myself. After leaving the restaurant we realized that my wallet was missing. My wallet had a tile. And when we returned it said that it was in the store. My son went to the front and asked if they had a wallet turned in, and they said they do not have it. We searched around the area. First all of the trashcan. But it still kept connecting inside the store. I will admit that I did ask him multiple times to look for the wallet, showing them that it was connecting to my phone inside the store. They agreed to look in the trash which they did, and then told me that there was nothing else they could do. When we stayed around trying to figure out how to find the wallet, we were asked multiple times to leave the store. We weren't interfering with their business, and we weren't even asking them to do anything except to look for the wallet. We sat outside at the tables for quite some time trying to figure out how to find the wallet. We called Mall security and they said we might want to wait until everything closed down so that we could try to hear the ringing. We continued to walk all around the area and the only time it would connect with my phone was inside the store. We asked multiple times for them to look around in the back to see if maybe somebody had turned it in and they had mistakenly put it in the back. We were asked multiple times to leave, it was obvious that they were not willing to help any longer, as if they had help much at all. So finally I called mall security back. I explained that I was certain that my wallet was inside the store, and I suspected that the employees were trying to steal it. I told them that I would hold the mall responsible if the employees stole my wallet. At that point they agreed to send an officer. The officer came and asked the manager to look again. I offered to handover my phone with the app open. The officer offered to come to look, and all of the sudden the manager gets very bristly and says this is private property. The office explains that it is actually mall property for which he works. Manager finally agrees to go in the back and look. Comes back out and throws his hands in the air, goes to the cash register counter bend down in front of the cashier desk. And then 30 seconds later stands up and declares that he has found it. Now we are supposed to believe that the wallet was at THE COUNTER AREA that we have now gone to half a dozen times, that the wallet sitting right there the whole 2 1/2 hours and they NEVER saw it, and by the way we never saw it either. But it all of a sudden magically appeared after he went to the back and came back and bent down at the desk. I am a single mom. I was a nurse throughout the entire pandemic. we lost my sons father during the pandemic. I've risked my life for others even after the biggest loss of our lives. But even if all that was not true nobody deserves to be treated the way the employees of this store treated us. Luckily everything was still there I don't think they had time to go through it. But I would never go to this establishment ever again and I recommend that the rest of you do the same. read more

The manager has horrible customer service, I recommend the Owner find a new people friendly person to run their business. My daughter and I always come here, ordered our favorite drink from the kiosk, they doubled our boba I kindly asked if the can remake our boba with out so much in it half of our cup was filled with it. He said no I can not help you we are too busy, they had more 3 ppl working. Ruined our experience read more

The teas here are really good. I've had the passion fruit green tea and matcha milk tea. They were out of mango and I wanted to try the Mango Yakult. It's a nice small spot right by Macy's, limited seating by the wall. Teas are good, but careful with the boba! I got boba this time and it's really poorly made!! Not bouncy/chewy. The inside is undercooked. Did I get the last bit of the pot? Is this boba stirred when it's cooked? So many questions. It's a bad sign the boba can't even get through my straw, cos they're stuck together. read more
