Ordered via DoorDash and drinks were already ready prior to my arrival! Excellent! The drinks were quite unique. The crème brûlée boba milk and the mango smoothie I ordered had unique mix and sweetness just about what I picked: perfect! The Mango Jasmine Tea was very good. Nice staff both girls were very welcoming just now. One was even cleaning the tea area. Parking is right next to the left side of two stores down. Ambiance was nice. Very clean store. Will come again since the staff was very hospitable and friendly.
When ordering at the kiosk, it gives you an option to put your phone number to alert you of your place in. You also receive a text message when your order is ready and get points for each purchase. The drinks are good. However they seem to be out of stock on a lot of items. It sounds to me like they can update the kiosk based on what they have so there's a lot of sections that show drinks out of. I was able to get my Strawberry Matcha I love the bright yellow decor. Parking could be limited. Hopefully next time there will be more available drinks.
Driving along W San Carlos Street, I stumbled upon this location. They do have a tiny parking lot. The interior is cozy with tables/seats to relax at. Two kiosks to order from. One unisex restroom. Key is needed to use. Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea: Their aromatic Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea combined with their signature house milk (4/5). Smooth creamy milk tea. Support your local business.
Bright & cheerful storefront. Tiny parking lot, had to circle around to get parking. Got a taro milk tea with boba, no ice, 50% sweet. They definitely use real taro, tho the taro flavor is barely there. Tea flavor and sweetness is spot on, boba has a goldilocks-level-perfect amount of chew. Would definitely come here again!

I don't know if it was made wrong but I don't see Thai milk tea as something you can easily mess up. The drink tasted like bitter water. After a few sips I couldn't continue drinking it. It is a bummer because I ordered through DoorDash so I could not taste test it at the location.
I stopped by the San Jose location recently. It's definitely way less crowded than the Sunnyvale spot where the line is always out the door. Just a heads up though, parking is pretty tight here. I actually ended up parking in a plaza across the street, so it's not the easiest quick grab-and-go spot. Inside, there's a ton of standing room but not a lot of tables to actually sit and hang out. It looked like they were in the middle of unpacking with some boxes by the door, so it's definitely more of a grab-your-drink-and-leave kind of vibe. The service took a little minute even though it wasn't super busy, but no biggie. As for the drinks, the Mango Frostie Smoothie is so good. It had the perfect creaminess and sweetness (I'd give it a solid 7.6/10). Tip: give it a mix before you start drinking! A bummer was that they didn't serve the cold drinks in clear cups. Half the fun of a mango smoothie is the aesthetic, so it kinda took away from the visual appeal, but honestly, it still tasted great. I wish they had more flavors in their frostie lineup, but I'd get it again. The strawberry one is next on my list! I also grabbed the Sunright Boba Milk Tea, but it was just okay--pretty much your standard, OG milk tea (6.9/10). It's good to try once, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Their pearls are nice and chewy though, even if Xing Fu Tang is still my favorite for boba pearls. Even with the parking hassle, I'd be back to try some other drinks like their Oreo cream brulee!
I was looking forward to trying Sunlight Tea Studios because of the positive reviews. Store is bright and has a small parking lot. Inside, there are two kiosks for ordering drinks. Menu had some descriptions of the items available. I didn't have any interaction with the staff. My cosmic apple Oolong tea with honey boba was ready quickly. I was hoping for a refreshing drink but the flavor was really light and there were pieces of apple skin in my tea. I didn't realize there would be pieces of apple skin and it was rough enough that it made the drink experience annoying.
I used to love this place but recently it has not been good at all. It used to be strong and flavorful! Now it is watery and pretty tasteless. I've tried 3 times and then again today. It's so sad because I know they can do better. For strong tea, Molly or Heytea is better. Even boba bliss is better...
this sunright location sucks to park at, so would avoid at busy times or plan to park elsewhere. otherwise, the interior is cute and clean and drinks are great! service was quick and kiosk ordering was nice as well. i've had nearly every sunright drink and theyre all good! the frosties are great when it's warm out and milk teas are strong and sweet,m. would recommend, though i prefer the sunnyvale location for its location.
Decent matcha, quick service, clean inside I came here on the weekend to try on their matcha. We got the strawberry matcha latte and the pistachio cheese foam matcha latte. Both were good. I've had better but these were pretty standard matcha lattes. The pistachio cheese foam added a unique flavor to the matcha. It's located on the corner of San Carlos. They have a small parking lot as well as street parking. We came around noon on Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. You order on the tablet and wait for your drinks. They have a few tables inside if you want to stay and do some work. There are many different drinks to choose from so there's something for everyone. Wait time was about 5 minutes.
I ordered the Sunright Boba milk tea and it tasted great. The black tea blended smoothly with milk, with a nice drizzle of brown sugar syrup. The boba was chewy and flavorful. The store even gave out a small throw blanket when we were there.
Always solid boba here! The drinks tend to be sweet so adjust your sweetness level accordingly. My go tos are the fruit tea and mango jasmine tea, usually with jelly or boba. Fast service and good amount of seating.
We went for the collaboration with Honkai Impact 3rd. The servers were as friendly as can be, since it was super crowded and busy. Regardless, the drinks and food came out pretty quickly. Would love to retry this place on a regular day.

Visited again after 2 years. Parking is still an issue. I came here for their Sept promo of $3.95 I got Winter Melon Lemon Tea ( can't adjust sugar level) and Grapefruit Jasmine with 25% sugar. I like the grapefruit jasmine tea, it's really refreshing and 25% sugar is just right for me. read more

Came for the collab they were doing with a video game, have never been here before that. Stores have self order kiosk and employees work fast. Parking is pretty tough on the street so I just park in the McDonalds parking lot and cross the street. The drink I had was pretty tasty. read more

I really hope this place sticks. I enjoyed the Wow Lemonade spot that was here, but it died. Once again, though, we have a banger of a spot. Sunright Tea is my new go-to boba spot. Not just because it's a short walk from my girlfriend's place, but because everything is just awesome. Like my other favorite boba chain, Happy Lemon, Sunright has some nice cheese foam, but my favorite drinks on the menu are their frosties. Whether it's their mango, coconut, or strawberry frosty, they're all the right amount of sweet and refreshing. Add some cream pudding on there and you have a heck of a treat! I also like how they do gaming collabs every now and then. I really enjoy the sticker promotion they did with Capcom for Ace Attorney. read more
Sunright seems to be my go-to boba spot whenever I'm in a different city, as it's now my third different location, and each one I've ordered something different. This time, I ordered the Sunright Fruit Tea which is always a classic I look for at any boba place I go to! I thought it was very impressive, perfect fruit flavor, and faint tea taste which is always my favorite combination. I also got 100% sweetness, because I always rather it have a stronger sweetness versus tea taste. Overall, service was fast. Me and my friend were also able to find seating inside which made it convenient to finish our drinks before going onto our next spot. read more
I was looking for a place near me that had black sugar milk tea and was so excited when I found Sunright Tea Studio as I've heard good things about this place. A chance to try it out, awesome! First off - parking is horrible. It's located on a busy intersection with a very small and tight parking lot shared by a few businesses, including a nail salon. I suggest parking across the street and walking over, unless you are extremely lucky and are there just as someone leaves. When I walked in, there were two kiosks located on the left hand side to order your drinks. You can take your time and browse if this is your first time here, which I did. Unfortunately, none of the workers seemed inclined to answer any questions I had about the drinks. I found the black sugar milk and realized it was just milk and not actual tea. So I ended up ordering the Sunright milk tea instead and also indulged in ordering some choco mochi paws (how cute!). After ordering, I sat down and waited for my order to be called. About 5-7 minutes later, one of the workers called a number, but I couldn't hear what it was. I looked up to see if they would repeat the number or make any indication of what the order was, but I got nothing. I waited for a bit longer, then noticed that they had a system for picking up orders on the counter. Okay, cool. I'll just go over and see if mine was up. My order was sitting there when I walked up, but none of the workers said anything. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to check in with them or anything before taking my order, but since no one looked over or asked if I needed help, I figured I was free to take it and leave. The boba milk tea was subpar - I went with recommended settings on sugar/ice and it was very lite flavor wise. You couldn't taste the sugar or much tea at all. The pearls were decent, but lacked any flavor. The mochi paws were cute and warm - but tough and chewy and not in a good way. It felt like there was too much flour mixed in when the batter was made and therefore lacked the fluffy chewy texture of mochi. I ended up throwing away half of them... And I usually never throw away dessert! Overall - 1 star off for the (lack of) customer service and 1 star off for the tea/mochi I tried. The store was clean and nicely decorated. Maybe I just came on the wrong day and/or ordered the wrong things. read more
Nice setup, clean and organized. You come in and order on the kiosk. They even have kid sizes which was perfect for my little one. The Taro Boba Milk is really good, I'm pretty sure they use fresh taro. Good prices! Good quality drinks. read more

I was going to be near the San Jose Rose Garden, so decided to order from Sunright while I was in the area. Coincidentally, Sunright currently has a limited time special of two drinks - Kay's strawberry jasmine tea with grass jelly, and Edgeworth's oolong milk tea and brown sugar boba. Each order comes with a limited edition Ace Attorney sticker. Edgeworth's oolong milk tea and brown sugar boba, 25% sweetness, no ice, house milk: 3/5 It was not that sweet which was what I intended, but I feel the tea flavor was not strong enough since it was overpowered by the milk. White peach oolong cheese foam: 4/5 My partner ordered this so I got to try this as well. I thought the white peach oolong was pretty good, I could make out the fruity taste but I still wished the oolong was stronger. However, the creama/cheese foam is really yummy, savory and salty. Once I had finished off the drink, I scraped the remaining cheese foam off of the lid and sides of the cup since a lot of it didn't mix properly with the drink. I have noticed in general I find Sunright drinks to have too weak of a tea flavor for my personal preference. I think oolong in general tends to be milder in flavor too, so it's more easily overpowered by dairy. That's my main disappointment with the drinks, but if you prefer your drinks milder in flavor, then you might like these. Prices for some of the more standard teas are okay compared to average for the area (in the $5-6 range), there's currently some seasonal peach-flavored drinks that I was eyeing, but those are more expensive ($6+). read more
Quality/Quantity - Blueberry Yakult - Good. She usually gets this when she is here. Her favorite is a yakult, and Sunright is the only place with blueberry flavor. Brown Sugar Espresso Latte - My drink, good quality. Not enough "boba" places have good quality "coffee" drinks, in my opinion. Oolong Milk Tea - My daughter's regular order. Atmosphere - Decent size location. Two entrances, one in the front and the other in the back. Limited parking in the back of the building. Interesting "FOB" key to use the bathroom. Not as hard as it sounds, but I witness so many people struggle. Open 7 days a week from 11:45am to 9pm. Service - Ordered online. Drinks were ready when we got here. So fast and friendly service. Price - $25; expensive, but that is the cost for quality. Cashless, so make sure you bring your card. N/A for us as we ordered online. Over the past few years of having tried Sunlight Tea my expectations were held high because every drink I had ever gotten from there was great! However, just as Cinderella when the clock strikes 12 or in this case 11:45 AM all of the magic wore off only leaving her with one glass slipper. My glass slipper from today was the Cheese foam here which was creamy, light, and smooth which I really enjoyed. I had just gotten my eyebrows done and was walking myself out scrolling through yelp in search of a boba spot near by. As I kept on walking I just looked up and there it was.... on the corner of the street in big letters across the front which said, "Sunlight Tea Studio" and my prayers were answered within seconds but without a Fairy Godmother. I walked in and. was welcomed by one of the staff members which was nice, but they were all sitting in a circle together, looking bored, on their phones, doing nothing which made me think, "wow, Such enthusiasm". while I was waiting sitting on the bench was um.... a... Scare Crow??? im not lying here the man must have mistaken the yellow bright interior for the Yellow Brick Road because he was without Dorthy, The Lion, and The Tin Man to help guide him. I I kept staring at it thinking and worried I was being rude, because what if there was an actual person in there? I felt bad for staring for so long but I was finally able to asses and identified that there was no one wearing the scare crow as a costume. Here they have those self ordering touch screen things where you can order from. I decided to order a combo with their Chocolate Mochi Waffles and a drink of my choice. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Cheese Foam. My order came out quickly and having nothing else to do with myself for the day, I sat down and opened the box of their Mochi Waffles that look like cat paws which were all covered in chocolate syrup....I had no idea that the waffles were going to be toped with chocolate cream instead of filled with it. I was pretty disappointed and the mochi waffles weren't anything special or to die for. My drink was absolutely terrible. I ordered the drink with less ice, the recommended milk, and half sugar. it tasted very watered down and it really disappointed me because my expectations were held higher because of my previous experiences. Usually when you think of your milk tea you would expect something sweet, creamy, and refreshing which my order had any of these characteristics. This is the first Sunright I've seen with seating! Lots of space and a good spot for people to hang out. They also have a lot of anime references around, and played anime theme songs at the shop. My go-to for Sunright is the Ceylon Milk Tea with Mochi. Great tea flavor, and milky! The mochi has a chewy but smooth consistently- good for anyone who likes texture! For this visit, I ordered the White Peach Oolong tea with 50% sweetness. I thought this drink was okay, refreshing but the white peach flavoring was a bit too artificial in the drink. read more
Came here for the duration of 3/31/24- 4/15/24 I was able to wait in line and get the SVIP card for $20 which came with a cute mug. The card contains 15 free boba, thus this review will be based the drinks I ordered and my overall experience... (also I like honey boba and have a sweet tooth so most of my drink includes honey boba w 100% sweetness) Matcha Brulee latte 4/5 (got it with organic fresh milk)-- I shook the drink 17 times and all the brulee was gone.. so I was unable to really taste it. Maybe it was the brulee but the matcha was not as strong as I thought it was, but the drink was overall tasty. Matcha red bean frostie 5/5 love the matcha flavor. the outside was also coated w matcha burelee which was an additional pulse. Any typical frostie drink is good for a hot day. Matcha Strawberry 4/5- It was alright... for some reason, I did not quiet like the strawberry taste. Definitely have to try again to see but not a super fan. Grapefruit jasmine tea 5/5 Although I ordered 100% sweetness, it was not that sweet, but I like the grapefruit and jasmine taste and it was not bitter. The drink also included several slices of real grapefruit. Mango milk tea 5/5 I surprisingly like it. It tastes like any typical mango milk tea, can taste the mango. No mango chunks so the drink is prob made with mango puree. Mango Yakult 5/5 Was really good but I don't think it's worth the price as it contains mango pure, water, sugar, and ONE Yakult... Jasmine Yakult 3/5 A little aftertaste and the Yakult in this drink... hahaha. always separates w the tea. It looks so bad and does not taste 100% good. I was struggling. Taro Frostie 6/5 100% recommended to my taro lovers out there. It's literally taro milk but colder and they put a bunch of taro on the outside. It is well worth the price. Taro Milk tea 5/5 always a fan of taro. The amt given was generous. Sunright Fruit tea 5/5 - It is definitely a top drink. It is very fruity and got some orange pulp in. Recommend taking out the slices as it take up space esp when you want to add toppings. Red bean Frosti 4/5 - not my favorite frostie. The red beans are so hard to drink and its really hard in the end. Had high hopes for it just missed. Oreo Brulee boba milk 4.5/5 - an excellent drink for non-caffeinated and for kids. VERY VERY sweet. Hey but we all love Oreo Four-season latte 5/5 - my go-to every time. got it w brulee this time which was nice and creamy. It's got a nice unique flavor and I love. Overall, this was a great way to try out other drinks that I normally don't go for (4 season and taro MT). The location is honestly not the best, sometimes it is hard to get parking due to the small parking lot. However, there is seatings, but the parking time limit is 2 hrs ... If they made the drink wrong, just let them know and they will remake it for you. Conclusion: 4.5 read more
