The drinks didn't take too long to come out either. I got the dragons kiss at 0% sweetness and it was still sweet enough. It is a strawberry and dragonfruit tea with strawberry jelly which was refreshing and tasty. I like the strawberry jelly as well because it was shaped like the typical lychee jelly. I stopped by here today because I was craving a fruit tea. This was the 2nd time I've ordered from here. They are located in a strip mall off of Santa Teresa Blvd and Blossom Hill Rd. Parking is plentiful in front of the store. Luckily when I got there, it wasn't too busy. I placed my order at the kiosk. I got the peach, mango and pineapple green tea with boba, and with less sweetness. I don't like my tea too sweet. I was hoping they had an option for no sweetness but I didn't see one. I asked the employee, who was making my drink, if she could make it without the added sweetness and she said yes. It was ready so fast. I tried it there to see how it was before I left, and it was perfect. It still had sweetness but it was probably coming from the 3 juices in the tea. It is a small store, 5 tables with 2 seats each. There is one table and a couple seats outside of the store in the shade (depending where the sun is at and time of day). The staff were attentive and kind enough to refer me to their printed copies of the menu to view rather than looking up at their board while I'm waiting in line. My neck thanks you. Ordered quite a few drinks to take home. My green slushy wasn't sealed properly. So when I had inverted the cup to shake, a bit had spilled out. Drink quality varies depending on the drink. Pretty average new boba spot, with some smaller issues to work out. Banana Brown Sugar Matcha Latte w/ Boba (3/5) - Starting off with the boba because I heavily deduct based on boba. Slightly my fault for coming ~50 minutes before close since I know it's usually a time that most smaller boba shops don't have fresh boba, but, as usual, old soggy-ish boba sucks. Banana cream/topping actually pretty solid, matches similar flavors from some of my other favorite banana matcha spots like Aroma/Haiku. Matcha itself, kind of a bit weaker which was not as fun. So I appreciate, not being hounded with 90% ice and 10% drink, but there needs to be a balance, as the drink basically came lukewarm with no ice to help it cool down into a nicer temperature to drink. Ambiance is a bit nicer/more modern than what Tleaf Teapresso had, although that may just be due to the holiday decor. Pricing is a bit high, although the sizing does match the pricing a bit nicer than most spots so this is a hit or miss for me. Overall I think it's just a matter of trying them out at a better time that they have fresher ingredients. read more

What a time to be alive! Since ube has gone mainstream, companies have tried and failed (looking at you, Starbucks), but this was delicious! A friend invited me to come here to try their unreleased strawberry shortcake matcha. We also ordered the brown sugar banana matcha and house matcha latte. I would give their matcha drinks a 3/5. It's not the best matcha (I would rate it lower than other matcha places in the bay), but it's not the worst either. All matchas ordered were regular sweet. The brown sugar banana matcha strongly tasted of brown sugar at first, but as I drank the rest of the drink, I slowly tasted the banana and the drink evened itself out. It grew on me and is pretty good! The house matcha was also decent, nothing really stood out to me. I really enjoyed the thickness of the drinks and appreciate that they were not watered down. Added a star for that! The strawberry shortcake matcha was good! It has a slightly artificial strawberry taste, but overall the drink was still good. It definitely tasted like strawberry shortcake. Came here for some drinks since we noticed that the name of the place has changed. Since it was different, we were hoping it was better since the previous shop wasn't good. Sadly we were wrong. We ordered a Vietnamese Coffee and Melon Matcha. We're not sure if this shop is Vietnamese-owned but their Vietnamese Coffee was terrible. It wasn't strong, it was barely sweet, and it was so watery. Then again, shame on us for getting a Vietnamese Coffee that's not at a Vietnamese Coffee shop. The Melon Matcha was also not good. There was barely any matcha taste and the melon flavor completely overpowers the matcha flavor. Both our drinks were also so watery. I love the seasonal menu for fall so much. The matcha at Fruitea Refreshers always has depth in its earthy flavors which I love. I'm a huge fan of their new pumpkin pie matcha latte that has their speciality cream with bits of biscoff cookie on top. It's bold in pumpkin flavor but not too overpowering as you can still taste the matcha. The cookie butter latte is also amazing. It's nutty with a note of rich espresso that's balanced with the generous amount of cookie butter around the cup. There was only one staff member at the time of my arrival, so orders admittedly took a long time to make. I felt bad for the people waiting after me, but a second employee eventually did clock in and help out. I did order a customized drink: a regular sized banana brown sugar matcha latte with light sweetness, 2% milk, boba, and creme brulee. I could see the solo staff member in the kitchen putting in work. For example, it appeared that the matcha was ceremonial grade since he was using the chasen to mix the matcha in water. For some reason I thought the creme brulee was going to be more like flan chunks or mixed in the drink. Their creme brulee was a custard foam, which the server had to hand torch. I totally appreciated the attention to detail and the care that went into making my drink.
