Very pricey boba but so worth the price. You can really taste the quality here & I love to get it every once in a while as a treat. This is the only boba place that I know of that has rose jelly and it's sooooo delectable. Highly recommend trying it if you haven't already!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and quiet boba shop that's been around for some years now.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Easy touch screen ordering system. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decent amount of seating for a small spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Lots of fresh and fruity flavors. The Berry Merry was quite good, not too sweet and the tea flavor really shined through.

I drive by Sinceretea all the time either going to/returning home from the main street of Japantown (Jackson Ave). Street parking only. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offer inside and outdoor seating if you prefer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is simple and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pricing is a bit pricey but that's what you pay for quality tea. *Pink Lady: organic green tea, rose jam, guava juice (added house-made rose jelly +$1.00). Light and refreshing. Next time, I will try their mochi egg puffs. Come support your local business!

What an amazing experience! We just got to enjoy workshop one of three in learning the intricacies of tea. Of the three core types of tea (black, green, and oolong), the first class focuses on black teas. Jenny (store owner) is great at walking us step-by-step through different techniques in making tea, ranging from cold brew to making our own tea concentrate and mintea hibiscus specialtea. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great chill environment to learn about the nuances of tea![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you enjoy making your own tea, or just wanna learn more about tea, this is a great beginner class introduction to black tea! Thank you Jenny, Cyrus, and family for a wonderful experience! Looking forward to class #2!

Tiny place with no parking. But you can find street parking in front. Ordered on the kiosk. Good choices for drinks. Not cheap but pretty tasty. We ordered the Berry Merry with boba and Lavender Lemonade. Tea was light and the strawberry tasted fresh but the drink seemed watered down. The Lemonade was better. Would try again if in the area. Service was ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside was fairly clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And it was nice and warm temperature![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of my favorite spots for rose lemonade. This spot is tucked away near San Jose Japantown. This is my second time coming here and I got the rose lemonade. I like it a bit less sweet and with less ice. The drink comes with rose jelly that they make in house. The drink is refreshing and has a good rose flavor. It's not bitter or overwhelming. Also the lemonade isn't super sour too! It's a well balanced drink!

This is a hidden boba shop that blends in with their neighbors and community. I've always drove past but never took a chance to try it out until today. I stopped by on a Thursday around 4pm. It looked like a slow day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior isn't huge but if you're looking for a place to sit down and do some work, this is a great spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a Berry Merry which is green tea, tasted like jasmine, strawberry puree, and randomly orange juice. I ordered it less sweet and it was perfect for me. The tea was strong and slightly bitter, then you taste the sweetness of the strawberry puree. The orange juice was pretty subtle but it did pair well with the drink and added a slight tartness. Next time I would try some of their toppings. The service was pretty fast, it took less than 3 minutes for me to receive it. As I was ordering, I saw samples for drinks and some of their snacks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire room smelled like their egg waffles and it was extremely tempting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I didn't have dinner soon I would've caved in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior was cozy, clean, neat, and aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I definitely would enjoy doing some work in here.

    Teana Colada
    Emery N.

I ordered the Teana Colada without coconut cream. My drink came out within 10 minutes. I was not too sweet at 25% sugar so I asked for a bit more and it was good enough for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This shop is a great place for studying or dates. It's mostly quiet with students here[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Unfortunately parking is limited to 15 minutes outside so find streetside parking elsewhere. I recommend this place if you're ever in downtown San Jose and want boba and a quiet environment!

It took a while for the order to be served so keep this in mind when getting food. But the dark roasted oolong tea flavor was nice and strong and black sesame in the egg puff were nicely roasted with pieces of mochi in each puff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great calm cafe study vibes ~[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'm not sure if this is just this drink, because we only tried one but something definitely tasted "off." Almost like something went bad in the drink itself. The jelly/pudding texture does not mix well with the drink itself either. I'd come back to try a different drink but this one was just not it.

This place made me feel so excited! First, when I walked it I was greeted by both a man and woman who were sweet and friendly. I was so excited to see samples - that's always fun! I sampled both the tea and mochi egg puff and was sold. Ended up ordering the black sesame egg puff which was delicious, and a custom tea. I went for the Peony Tea zero sweet pandan jelly and rose cream with a salted plum. YUM!!! The creams and jellies are homemade - not too sweet, just right. Actually had a hard time ordering because the whole menu looked magnificent :-). [[HIGHLIGHT]]In terms of the ambiance, the space it self was well lit, bright and spacious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was able to get easy street parking.

Like this place, very neat, owner is pleasant and friendly! Enjoy the food, coffee and setting!

Walked in and a mango green tea was $9.10. Walked out. Rip off. I get charging that much for matcha but for a green tea is crazy.

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. I would've gate kept this place but everyone already knows about it so I HAVE to show them the love they deserve!!

I need to go back because everything I ordered was iced and I want to try some of the hot drinks. The banana bourbon latte was good, I wish it had maybe a more pronounced banana flavor and that the bourbon came through more. But the oat milk and the coffee were so smooth and luxurious that it made the experience enjoyable. Important note: with Mitsua market and the busy food areas there, this plaza gets incredibly busy! We ordered a Cortado and the Honey Sea Salt Latte -- both were excellent. The espresso was rich, smooth, and perfectly pulled, which really showed in both drinks. They clearly have strong breakfast options overall -- the cheesy toast pictured on their page looked amazing too. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. This is a great spot for quality coffee and solid breakfast food. We'll definitely be back to work our way through more of their flavored drinks and breakfast toasts. Highly recommend!
