I will come back for sure. I was craving for boba while on the freeway and wanted something close to the exit to jump on and off. I found this on yelp and I'm glad we stopped by. The decor is pretty classy and so are the "to go" bags. There were 2 areas to use for photo backgrounds. This is a cashless establishment and you will be placing your order on either of the 2 kiosks available at the counter. There is also an outside patio area and it was also decorated and maintained nicely. We ordered a snack and 2 drinks. Both were yummy.
I tried their location in Sacramento last year and was stunned by how good the quality and flavor of their tea was! There's a kiosk where you can order and they barista was kind enough to deliver our drinks to where we were. I think it was because it's an off peak time, but nonetheless I appreciated the gesture of good will. I got the rang jasmine matcha and it was so creamy and flavorful. The matcha was strong (the way I like it) and the jasmine tea was strong as well. There are a lot of cute decorations and lighting. There's also plenty of outlets, so it's a good place to come to lock in!
Love the mango sticky rice matcha with half sweetness through RANG! The mango cream is so yummy and pairs really well with the matcha and coconut notes. Went on a weekend and it wasn't super busy and got my drink pretty quickly.
First time stopping at Rose Tea Lounge, and we ordered the Thai tea and popcorn chicken. The boba was incredibly fresh, and the drink had a perfect balance--sweet without being overly sugary. The popcorn chicken was another highlight. It didn't taste like frozen chicken at all; it seemed freshly made. I believe it's made with chicken thighs rather than breast meat, which gave it a juicier texture. Just a heads-up--the spice level is definitely on the hotter side! We really loved this place and can't wait to come back to try other items. To order, there's a kiosk system, so keep in mind that they do not accept cash. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, and plenty of parking as well.
Love rang/rose tea! I'm picky with my matcha and rang always does it perfect -- the matcha has a dense earthy flavor and they don't skimp on it, so you have a vibrant drink all the time. I would be careful about sweetness levels. I prefer less sweet so I tend to get 25% for matchas and rose tea bobas.
I've been here 3 times for their RANG pop up and I liked their matcha. I've gotten the cookie butter, coconut, and mango sticky rice matcha. I recommend getting less sweetness, maybe 50%, since I got 75% and thought it was really sweet, but overall still really good. It's also really close to home which is convenient. Service is quick, thry get to you fast and ordering is on a kiosk. The ambiance gives night club vibes, but it's really chill inside. I know some people study here sometimes.
I love going to Rose Tea Lounge for their Tiramisu milk tea! It tasted just like tiramisu, which I had not found anywhere else. When I saw Rang was having a pop-up here, it brought me back for a different reason -- matcha! I was immediately obsessed with their Sticky Mango Rice Matcha and get it every time I visit now. I love how their flavors taste exact! I've tried this drink at other shops and it did not taste exactly like sticky mango rice. They also hand whisk the drinks in front of you so you know it's authentic! Lots of parking outside and a whole lot of seating inside!
Since the other location closed in Cupertino, this location has been the go to. Parking is available during the weekend afternoon. There's also plenty of seating inside with 15+ small tables. There's also outdoor seating. AC made the establishment comfortable even during the hot weather outside. Ordering is done through kiosk. There was a steady but small line almost at all times. Drinks came out quickly after ordering. Both drinks tasted more watery than the cupertino location this time. The panna cotta milk tea's tea was a bit bland while the honey gyokuro milk tea had more of a smoky tea taste. Both drinks had the less ice option. Maybe it was just today since usually the drinks are consistent with the other locations (Fremont and Cupertino). The panna cotta is always spectacular in the drinks. It's what keeps us coming back!
I've had rose tea a few time just not in San Jose. My friends and I came here since it was close to where we had lunch. You can order through a touch screen. In hopes that you know what you want. It took me a few mins to decide what I wanted. I'm sad that they didn't have the matcha option I wanted. Inside is spacious and cozy. A lot of seating. They also have games if you wanted to hangout. My friends and I stayed for about 45 mins before we left.
This location is so nice! Not only is there a good amount of seating inside, there's a little outdoor patio too! I love telling my friends this is an OMOMO dupe because of their Matcha Marble, Peach Cloud, and high quality milk teas. I love the Honey Gyukoro too! I would recommend most of their drinks! I can't really recall a time where I have had a bad drink here, but the menu is truly MASSIVE! I strongly believe this is a good spot to go for indecisive friends. There's something for everyone here.

Rose Tea Lounge is exactly what the name says, a tea lounge. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of seating for you and your guest. The indoor area is very nicely decorated with velvet chairs and comfortable seating all along the wall. There's also a cool mirror for your Insta pics. Order two drinks and both drinks were prepared perfectly and we're very tasty. We were very satisfied with our selection and I can see myself going back for more Boba and to try some of their other menu options. They also offer some small plate and goodies. Employees are welcoming and friendly and very patient when you're undecided on what to order, lol. They also offered good suggestions of what was on the menu.
A great place to visit if you're in the area and looking for a roomier setting! Food and Snack: Summer Melon Fruit Tea, 75% Sugar: Standard yummy fruit tea. It was on the more sweet side, but the fruit tones really came through. Jasmine Milk Tea, 0% Sugar: They give you the choice between whole milk tea, house milk tea, and oat milk tea for free! A nice little bonus. The tea flavor didn't come through for me, so I was a little disappointed. Popcorn Chicken, Mild Spice, Light Seasoning, Spicy Mayo: We love how customizable this was (seasoning level, spice level, 6 different sauce options). It was nice and juicy. Parking: Medium size parking, but the lot isn't that large. Ambiance: This is where rose tea lounge stands out They have large indoor seasons with large tables and smaller intimate settings. There's also a nice outdoor area.
Visited on 4/19 for the mango sticky rice matcha and was sad to hear they were out of puree to make the drink, but was super excited to see they have a banana matcha and cookie butter matcha! I want to shout out their staff because the customer service is elite here. I asked many questions about the sweetness levels as I am unfortunately a little addicted to sugar and they were super helpful in my sugar level decisions and even let me know they can add sweetener if it's not sweet enough. I ended up doing 75% sweetness for the cookie butter and 50% sweetness for the banana matcha, and eventually asking for a bit more sweetener in the banana matcha before I left. Even at 75% sweetness I felt like I still tasted the matcha and natural banana flavor without it being overwhelmingly sweet. They definitely use fresh bananas in their cream top and it is so insanely delicious, generous with the amount of cream top too. I've been on the hunt for the best banana matcha latte in SJ since my last visit to Academic Coffee didn't feel very satisfactory as that's usually my go to spot. Move over, Academic Coffee - there is a new top dawg banana matcha latte spot in town! So happy to have stumbled upon their banana matcha and I hope to try the mango sticky rice matcha soon. :) Ambience is peaceful with edm music, super clean interior and well lit inside. I like how much seating there is and they have a little outdoor patio area with seating as well.
I've been to rose tea lounge near fremont before and I really enjoyed their drinks. I decided to go here since I saw they have a RANG pop up. It's my first time at this location and there's plenty of parking right outside. The store is so spacious. There were people studying and playing card games. Perfect place to sit and yapp where it's not overwhelming. It was a vibe in there and it's super clean as well. We easily ordered on the kiosk. There were so many great options to choose from. I ordered the double matcha and my friend got the hojicha. The drinks came out in 5 minutes. The double matcha was so good. Just the right creaminess and sweetness (I got regular sugar). At first glance, it's a very stylish spot with free wifi, plenty of seating, and a bathroom, so I decided to set up here to study for a while after work. Everything is very clean, and it's easy to find a table--albeit 90% of the seating is not near an outlet, so I had to rely on the preexisting charge on my laptop. The staff operates mostly in the back, so if you need help with anything it might be a little difficult, but I honestly didn't notice it too much. The drinks I ordered were okay--the puff cream in the Matcha Marble was a little cloying and left the roof of my mouth a little uncomfortably coated, but otherwise the flavor was good and the sweetness level appropriate to what I expected. The Very Grape blended drink was not to my tastes, either. The most unsafisfying part of the experience was the music and lighting. The music is a little loud, which is no problem, but you could also here conflicting music playing from someone's phone or speaker coming from the back, which was a little much. Additionally, the lights seemed synced to the music and would flash occasionally like camera flash, which hurt my eyes and distracted me while I was working. It was a bit straining. I wouldn't recommend sitting down here too long, which is a shame because there is a lot of space inside. That said, I have had good experiences with their drinks & with the Rang Coffee House drinks as well--I would just take it to-go. read more

Got the TGY Oolong from Rose Tea Lounge with Jasmine Jelly and Crystal boba. Cousins were super excited about this location opening since it's been their favorite when they were in Elk Grove. Was super excited to try it and it didn't disappoint. Shop is clean and nicely designed and is very well maintained. Service is good, efficient, and orders arrived fast. Definitely will be back. My review still stands... I love the open space of this space for getting my work done! I've recently introduced myself to a few different items on the menu that I love: Jasmine Wintermelon with Jasmine Tea Jelly - BOMB!!! This combo is amazing. I've never had the Jasmine Tea Jelly before and you can tell it's made in house. It's sooo soft and sweet.... might be my new favorite topping? Popcorn Chicken - First time trying the food items here. The popcorn chicken is made of chicken thigh, so its SOO juicy and tender. The medium spicy was still pretty spicy, haha! But, it was so good. Truly one of the better popcorn chickens I've ever had at a boba shop. Really reminded me of the shihlin chicken, but less spice powder! 5/5. Great work space, great food, great drinks. This tea lounge is great! We love the convenience of ordering from the kiosk- the tablet is large, wide variety of the menu is organized nicely under each tab, and ordering from it is fairly easy. Once placed, our order came quickly. Super sweet and friendly staff is a plus! Clean tables and cutsey vibes with very upbeat, loud music. It's a great hangout spot with tons of seating, there's also an outdoor seating area. We ordered the dirty boba matcha latte and a summer melon fruit tea, solid 10/10. The flavors are perfectly fresh and doesn't taste artifical. Appreciate the oatmilk substitute option for the milk tea. Boba was just right, chewy and soft . We aalso grabbed a couple of ice creams to go. The peach one is so creamy and has a soft sorbet center. The fried chicken one was interesting, wasn't a huge fan, it tasted like vanilla but with a mild kick. Trying it was fun but not something I'd order again. We also got the labubu jelly and that was tasty and jiggly! Looking forward to going back soon to try their other snacks and teas! read more

Rose Tea Lounge recently opened up in Little Saigon and adds another boba option to the highly competitive Story Road corridor. Nothing wrong with that, more options for meeee. I have tried their grape and strawberry drinks. Both were delish and quite refreshing. I also ordered the popcorn chicken and their novelty ice creams. Popcorn chicken was crispy, juicy and a good snack option. Sometimes though, it is sold out and there's no way to find out until you're waiting in the long line and then get up to the tablet to order and it says sold out. They have several novelty ice cream options at Rose and I got to try the strawberry and the spicy fried chicken. The strawberry ice cream was good and I would get it again. The spicy fried chicken was very bad and too spicy. My friend liked it but I was not a fan. Both were $5 each. All in all, a nice spot to hang out and they have plenty of seating, more than the other boba spots down the street. read more
I'm not a huge fan of boba, milk-teas or overly sweetened drinks (even with the sugar adjustments) including smoothies but when you're playing cool aunt you bring the niece to a different boba spot than her usual. Rose Tea Lounge offers Labubu jelly topping (option) for their drinks and made someone a happy camper. I tell ya these kids (ok adults too) are all about it. Ordering is via self-ordering kiosk with staff in back. So basically no interaction when we visited except when drinks ready. Labubu jelly was delivered on the side as was told they tend to sink quickly. Not the prettiest color but flavor-wise was like a coconut panna cotta and yummy. Drinks were good but again for me, 4 sips was plenty as these are large-sized drinks. Of course niece noticed the viral Propitious Peach ice cream...thin white chocolate shell with flavorful, peach flavored sorbet. Definitely worth the wow factor and hype. Other flavors: strawberry, lemon grape were SOLD OUT Rose Tea Lounge offers fried snacks like Taiwanese popcorn chicken and lumpia (8)! Went here with the hubby on a late Friday evening. Decided to get the coconut matcha since I've never tried it before. They actually put coconut chunks in there and the matcha was pretty good. A refreshing drink. Rose tea lounge is definitely a place I can see myself hanging out with a few friends. There's plenty of space and they have an outdoor patio which is very cozy. Self serve kiosks are available. No cash accepted. read more
A very unexpected surprise. We thought this place was going to be like another pekoe and tisane where drinks taste artificial and overly sweet however it was perfect. The strawberry milk had some saltiness which didn't overpower the strawberries at all. It gave it a nice balance to the drink itself. The tropical drink at 25% still had some sweetness to it however it didn't taste like straight up tea and water. With the aloe inclusions made it a very refreshing drink. The labubu jelly was bought on a whim due to many posts about it on social media. We got it for funsies and we can compare it to UJU's mystery jelly. The labubu is wayy better than the mystery jelly texture and taste wise. It was soft yet still held its shape with a creamy texture. The jelly itself wasn't too sweet. Rose tea has always been a solid boba place for me since I first tried it in Fremont. I'm glad a location opened in SJ, so I don't have to drive far to get my boba fix. The store is located in a small plaza, so parking can be hard to find on busy days. However, the store itself is very spacious and has an outdoor patio. There are a couple of kiosks to order and drinks usually come out quickly. My go-to drink is the Kyoto milk tea with honey boba. It's a unique flavor that you won't see at many boba shops. I've also tried their other milk teas and they've all been good. The only catch is that the prices are on the higher end. I think the drink quality justifies the price, though, so definitely come by for good drinks and food. read more

I was here when they had their 30% promo and came back afterwards eith my friends visiting from out of town. They said it was the eBay matcha they had in San Jose. Came to this location for the Rang Matcha pop up they have. I came in really excited since I have been hearing nothing but great reviews on Tik tok. It looked very promising, they whisk the matcha once at a time in front of you. But unfortunately the matcha did not live up to the hype. It had this weird taste. It tasted bitter and sour. Especially the matcha einspanner. The cream on top had this coconut aftertaste which I disliked. The location itself is very nice though. It's clean and has plenty of comfortable seating. Great if you want to sit down and finish some work. But I would skip out on Rang and maybe try a drink from Rose Tea Lounge. read more

We came to Rose Tea Lounge on July 4th, about 7 minutes after opening, and the place was already packed. We mainly came to get the labubu jelly. I had called the day before, but they had sold out of it within an hour of opening, so I decided not to go. However, my friend managed to get the topping an hour before closing that same day so it seems like they restock throughout the day (wish I had known!). I'm not sure if they opened a bit earlier today but by the time we arrived, most people had already ordered. I ended up getting the last Labubu topping around 2:07 PM. When I checked again about two hours later, it looked like they had restocked. So, if you're hoping to get one, I'd suggest placing an order online and checking when it restocks. We ordered the Coconut Matcha and Mango Cloud drinks which were pretty good. I really liked the cheese foam in the mango drink! The Labubu jelly topping costs about $3.50 extra. I didn't love the jelly but we mainly got it for the photos. PSA the jelly melts quickly in the heat so do not leave it in the car like us! Overall, this new location is pretty spacious and nice. I'd come back next time I'm eating around Vietnam town. Also, the parking lot is a bit small so plan accordingly. read more

New Rose Tea Lounge in SJ unlocked! Now I have one closer to me instead of the Cupertino or Fremont location. Inside is such a vibe! Really pretty decorations and love the black chairs. They also have outdoor seating which is going to be so nice for the summer evenings. Praying that it's not too hot though because you know how the heat be in SJ until August-September. I got the peach oolong tea because I just wanted something refreshing and simple. They put them in these pretty cups but I wish we could see inside the cup. The drink tasted watered down to me. Not sure about the other flavors but the peach oolong tea was alright. I would come back to try the other drinks though and it's such a nice place to chill because there's so much seating. They also icecream on their menu! They have a variety of flavors and the popular ice creams that went viral on tik tok. I've seen some at Korean markets before but the ones they have on the menu I can't find in store. They have spicy chicken flavored icecream like what! As for parking it's near Vietnam town in a different plaza. I could see parking being difficult to find if it's super busy. I just love the interior they did a good job with that. read more

Overall the drinks at default sweetness aren't too sweet. I got 75% for the matcha Kyoto when I should've did regular sweet. Peach cloud 4.5/5 (delish, refreshing, has peach bits and the cream was good) Mango tango 3/5 (very mango-y, I recommend getting fruit bits or toppings) Matcha Kyoto 3/5 (milkier, not much matcha flavor, yummy cream) Very aesthetic and would be a nice, spacious place to hang out or study. Pretty disappointed with my experience at Rose Tea Lounge today. I ordered drinks this afternoon and the lid on my matcha drink was not secured properly, so the drink spilled all over my car and clothes shortly after I left the store while I was still in the parking lot. I have the receipt and photo proof of the spill that I emailed to the company. I called the store hoping they could remake the drinks or offer some kind of refund, but I was told they couldn't because the spill didn't happen "inside the store." I understand accidents happen, but this was caused by the lid not being put on correctly, so the response was frustrating. The employee I spoke with also came across as dismissive, which made the situation more upsetting. I've been here before and wanted to continue supporting the business, but this experience left a bad impression. I just wish there had been a little more accountability and customer service in handling the situation. read more

I love his place, can literally stay in this shop all day long, good music and spacious seating area inside or outside. Always parking when I come either day or night. This last week's heat wave was crazy and the AC in this place worked wonders. I usually have the tiramisu milk tea or the tiramisu coffee, it's refreshing and keeps me awake on drive back to San Francisco. read more

My friend recommended me the pandan matcha, and it did not disappoint. It had such good pandan flavor and it goes really well with the matcha. The ambiance is so nice, there was students studying there. Overall a good experience all around! read more
