We tried Nha Café a while back at a night market held at the Vietnamese Mall in San Jose. Ever since then, we have been following their journey and show up at almost every events. I'm a huge fan of Pandan so that was my first drink from them but I decided to give the Corn one a try. Guess what? I LOVE IT TOO!!! All the drinks are so flavorful. Can't wait for their store front to open soon.
Always excited to see Nha at events! Love getting the pandan dream, it's my favorite! But when I want something a little heavier I would get the corn cloud if they have it. Super friendly workers to talk to and super excited for when they can open a physical storefront!
I went to their shared storefront Modo Hawaiian BBQ, a long time ago even before they were open for business. I remember walking in and they were totally surprised the door wasn't locked and yes, both stores were still under construction inside. Oops. Fast forward to today and they are no longer sharing that location apparently and only do pop-up events & catering for now. Thankfully, they were at a Yelp event and offered samples of a few of their drinks. The owner(s) and staff were super friendly and welcoming! They were delighted to explain the drinks and told us try them in the following order. *1. Classic Drip: bold, rich, and creamy Vietnamese coffee with sweetened milk. *2. Pandan Dream: creamy pandan leaf infused soymilk mixed with mung bean and coconut. *3. Orange Sunset: refreshingly light lemongrass tea mixed with peach and orange. I look forward to when they have their own storefront.
I have been following their IG page for a while and had no idea they were going to be at the 365 Night Market until we started walking around! I would have ordered the whole menu if I could but we were stuffed, so my husband and I shared the Corn Cloud. This is a sweet corn milk topped with coconut foam, which was so refreshing!! It's also caffeine free so we were able to share with our kids who also really enjoyed it. My favorite part was the level of customer service though. They were all so nice! I really hope they will get their own storefront soon, because they deserve it! Any business owners who will go out of their way to get to know their customers just a bit more really make a lasting impression and makes me want to support them even more. Unfortunately we don't live in the area but if I could come buy more drinks from them I would! But for now I will just spread the word and make sure to recommend them to all of you reading this review!
I found out about Nha from a friend's Instagram story and then went to check it out myself! At the time, they were at Modo's drive thru and it was honestly perfect because it was so close to home (meaning almost weekly/bi-weekly trips lol). The drinks are amazing, one might even say "love at first sip", my favorites are the pandan and orange sunset. The corn cloud is really interesting, it's sweet and a subtle sweet corn flavor. The tamarind drink is awesome, I don't think I've had a tamarind drink before either and I really enjoyed it! It's nice too because it can be made without peanuts if you have allergies! All the drinks are really refreshing and delicious, not too sweet and bright in flavor. I've also been fortunate to catch them doing pop ups at marketplaces like SJMade! No notes and I have Nha on my list of businesses to reach out to asap to cater for a future event if they still offer it in the next couple of years! I must say that Brandon and Sandra are the most kindest, passionate, and positive/optimistic people and business owners I have ever met. I wish them nothing but the best in finding their own shop this year to continue their dream.
Finally got to try Nha after seeing them vendor so many events in the South Bay! I got the Pandan Dream drink since pandan is one of my favorite flavors and it did NOT disappoint! It was delicious and I wish I got more. The workers were so lovely and sweet too. I can't wait to order some family style bottles from them.
Dreaming and waiting for the day that Nha Cafe opens a physical location! I was so happy to visit them at SJ Made, especially after I mistakenly thought there was a storefront the day before! :') -- Pandan dream -- This is a creamy and sweet pandan milk with notes of mung beans. While it's not super thick, it has a nice, thicker consistency that is appetizing and feels slightly filling. The flavors are strong and don't feel watered down at all. It's what you would expect and taste great! -- orange sunset (my favorite) -- This is an orange drink that has an earthy, lemongrass aftertaste. This was super refreshing, because it tastes slightly "green" and also citrusy. I've never had anything like this before and I was initially feeling a little hesitant about ordering this. Like what can be so special about an orange juice drink? I was so pleasantly surprised and I will be visiting again for this drink especially! As for the vibes and service, their food stand was adorable and they also had cute stickers for sale. The owners are a sweet married couple and it was such a joy to talk to the husband as he manned the cashier!! He was super friendly and passionate about their business.
I've had this place bookmarked for some time, and I finally got to try it recently. We got to learn a little bit about Nha Cafe from one of the owners. It's currently a pop-up, and it's owned by him and his wife. The owner was really nice and friendly. I ordered the Pandan Dream, which is soy-milk based with subtle hints of pandan and mung bean. This drink was delicious. It was definitely on the sweeter side, but I still really enjoyed it. All of the flavors meshed well together, and I loved it. Good luck to Nha Cafe and hoping to see a permanent store front one day!
First time I tried Nha Cafe was when they were just starting out and only had a few reviews. I wanted to try the Corn Cloud but it was unavailable when I went, so I tried the tiramisu latte which I felt was underwhelming. Didn't want to review or rule them out! Finally got to try the Corn Cloud and omg it's amazing!! This is the 3rd corn drink Ive tried over the last couple of months and it's the clear winner. The person taking my order was super friendly and asking me if I had been before and would love to hear my thoughts. He told me to take a sip of the coconut cream on top before stirring it to drink. I did so at the window and told him it was delicious! I want to try their Pandan drink too, and hope they come out with something ube. I will probably keep repeating the corn cloud though :)
Nha Cafe is my favorite pop up for drinks at festivals and markets! Their Pandan Dream and Orange Sunset are the perfect refreshing drinks you'll search for after time spent strolling around. Truly memorable and I can definitely see why it's part of their signature items. The Orange Sunset is a peach orange lemongrass tea with a balance of sweet and sour. It has a strong taste but it's not too overpowering with the orange or lemongrass. The Pandan Dream is sweet and light, perhaps floral even. I appreciate how their drinks are not watered down. Recently, I tried their Dirty Pandan because I was intrigued by their new phin drip series. It's a secret menu item ;) This is my favorite drink by far. The bold Vietnamese phin dripped coffee paired with the creamy pandan milk is such a wonderful combination. I would highly recommend as a huge lover of both Viet coffee and pandan. You'll get the best of both worlds if you try! I love how they specialize in unique flavors to introduce another side of Vietnamese palates. The owners are very friendly and there's little to no wait for their drinks even if there's a line. Overall, the concept of Nha Cafe is adorable and I would love for them to have a storefront of their own soon.
Very lovely and sweet service from the owners. Their menu is simple but that's how you can get consistent quality drinks. My friend and I ordered Pandan dream and Corn cloud. I first knew about Nha Cafe on Instagram and finally got a chance to try it out. Even my other foodie friends recommended this place to me. Unfortunately, Nha Cafe owners are going to be out of the country so they will be back in February 2025. They even sell cute crochet characters. The flavors definitely resembles authentic Vietnamese desserts. First sip of the corn cloud and I was in love. It had a prominent sweet corn milk flavor (similar to Vietnamese dessert chè). Pandan dream was yummy as well. I love the color and taste. Great price and size for the drinks. Can't wait to revisit when they return!!
First tried Nha at SJMade 2025 & was blown away by the flavors & amazing service by the duo who ran the booth. My friends & I ordered the Pandan Dream & Corn Cloud and were super impressed with how present the flavors of the drinks were. The drinks were super refreshing on a hot day but a bit on the sweeter end. Unfortunately, they had run out of the Orange Sunset by the time we arrived so we missed out on that one. Would definitely seek them out again at the next event they're at.
THIS DRIVE THRU IS THE BOMB.COM If you haven't been to Nha, what are you even doing? You're missing out if you haven't been yet! Nha serves up Vietnamese-inspired drinks and everything on the menu is good. NEW! Tamarind Breeze - Roasted peanuts, pineapple, tamarind syrup (for those who loved Keo Me) Pandan Dream - Pandan soy milk, mung bean, coconut (pandan soy milk nostalgia, anyone?) Orange Sunset - Lemongrass tea, peach, orange (super refreshing and perfectly balanced!) Corn Cloud - Corn milk, coconut foam (think Che Bap in a drink!) Each drink impressed me, bringing out those familiar Vietnamese flavors I grew up with. You can't go wrong with any of the choices, but if I had to pick one, corn cloud is my choice! KEEP IN MIND: Nha is drive-thru only, so just look for the green sign they share with Modo, and you'll know you're at the right spot.

Ahhh thank you so much Christy for your kind words!!! Making our day…
ahhh I LOVE NHA CAFE SM!!! The owners are always so sweet and nice! Their drinks are based on Vietnamese style desserts and flavors and really taste wonderful! the corn cloud is finally back on their menu as they only make it when corn is in season!! In order of favoritism (but tbh they're all great so can't go wrong) 1 corn cloud 2 pandan dream 3 orange sunset Went to the Sunnyvale popup just to get their drinks but they also host popups often as they don't have a physical storefront atm! Just follow their ig to see where their popups will be! Love love their drinks! The corn cloud needs to be in rotation forever n ever hahaha you could also preorder/order family styles from them to pickup and have drink prep for the week or as long as they last ya lol read more

My bf and I checked this place out while we were at the Santa Clara night market. We got in line and waited about 20 mins or so until we were at the front. The menu isn't extensive and currently sweetness level on the drinks cannot be adjusted. On the menu, it did have a disclaimer that their drinks were on the sweeter side. I got the Pandan Dream and my bf got the Orange Sunset. My Pandan Dream was the perfect level of sweetness and yummy! The Orange Sunset was too sweet for us even after waiting for all the ice to melt. It would be so much better if it was half the sweetness. Once we got our drinks, the line got even longer. They have a kickstarter to open up their first brick and mortar in the Bay Area. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. This place is currently drive-through only. They also show up at events so check their social media accounts from time to time to find out where they'll be. Their drinks are non-customizable and have a small selection, but each of their drinks are amazing! My favorite is the pandam dream, very creamy and flavorful pandam taste. The best pandam drink I've ever had! read more
Brandon and his team are awesome. We're so happy to be (semi)-regulars at Nha. The pandan drink is to die for honestly. Drive-in only though! Pandan Dream 10/10: Floral, sweet, and refreshing. It's just so good and caffeine-free too! My favorite. Corn Cloud 7.5/10: It's really good, and perfect for a corn lover. I personally found it great for the first 3 sips, but it feels overpowering and could use less sweetener. Very strong corn flavor :) Orange Sunset 7/10 Gave this one to my brother and he only took two sips before saying it was far too sweet for him. The syrup had maybe not mixed well and was perhaps heavy-handed to begin with. Either way, I do highly recommend visiting Nha!! read more

Nha Cafe is so yummy! Love the pandan soy milk and tamarind drink. The owners are super sweet too and are pretty responsive on Instagram to check in on available stock. They now serve "family style" drinks (59 oz) to bring home for any occasion. PANDAN DREAM: 5/5 ($7) + MUST try! The drink is literally the perfect sua dau nanh with a hint of pandan and mung bean, which is not grainy at all! + On the sweeter side so I like letting the ice dilute TAMARIND BREEZE: 5/5 ($7) + MUST try! So refreshing, tangy, and sweet. Kinda reminds me of the Mexican tamarind candies + Peanuts are a nice addition for texture read more
I recently tried Nha Cafe at their drive thru and I'm hooked. As a huge pandan fan, I usually stick to my beloved flavor, but their Corn Cloud caught my eye (or should I say, taste buds?). The Pandan Dream was perfection, it wasn't too sweet and had a good Pandan flavor. But the Corn Cloud stole the show. It was love at first sip. It was incredibly creamy with a strong sweet corn taste. Nha Cafe has officially become my goto drink spot in the entire Bay Area. The quality, uniqueness, and consistency have won me over. Nha Cafe is a must try. read more
I heard this place was a pop up but never had the chance to try it during the summer. When I found out they were still open, I had to come during my next visit in the bay. I got the pandan dream! As someone who likes to order 25% sugar on all drinks, I surprisingly didn't think it was too sweet. I really loved the strong pandan flavor. It's only drive through so the service was really fast. It's a great grab and go place. Hoping I get to try other drinks the next time I'm here! read more
This review is purely for the Corn Cloud and Strawberry Matcha drinks! Also, the guy who works the drive through is so friendly! My absolute favorite is to get the corn cloud and then add a shot of espresso when I get home! Love this place! read more
Nha Cafe is one of the few cafes that sells unique Vietnamese inspired drinks, especially the corn drink. The few times I've gone, the owners are very nice and personable. What I've tried so far: Corn Cloud: Reminds me of Che Bap but in liquid form! The corn flavor is there and there's the perfect amount of sweetness in the drink. The consistency of the drink is pretty creamy/thick, I think this could be girl dinner if I drank it all in one go LOL. Once the ice melts down, it's a bit more lighter though! Pandan Dream: Yummy! If you're a fan of mung bean, this drink may be for you. I think it tastes more like mung bean than pandan. This drink is also pretty thick, but it gets lighter as the ice melts- the flavor is still there even after it's watered down! read more
What a great addition to the Bay Area, this place has a limited drink selection but the quality and flavors are unique and top tier. I always find myself getting the pandan dream, which has pandan, coconut, and soy milk flavors. Soooo good. Haven't seen any other tea shops with their flavor profiles! Looking forward to when they start adding toppings/expanding their menu. read more
GET THE CORN CLOUD!!! So refreshing and creamy. The corn flavor is pleasantly sweet and not too heavy. The texture is smooth and not gritty at all. I could easily drink this everyday! We have also tried the Orange Sunset, which is packed with flavor! Too sweet for me, (and no sugar adjustments yet) but the lemongrass flavor is truly delightful. A good option for those who can't have lactose. The Bay Area NEEDS more drive-thru options, and this is probably one of the best additions we could have gotten. I'm pretty bummed they're only occupying this space until September 2024! Definitely support them so they continue to thrive after their Modo Pop-up ends. read more
It's been a few weeks since I've first tried Nha Cafe and I'm still dreaaaming about their pandan dream drink lol. I love how all of the drinks here are inspired by Vietnamese flavors! My BF and I stopped by on a whim and the owner helped serve our drinks. He was super sweet and gave a little run down of their story which was nice! My BF went with the corn cloud, and it was delicious! There aren't a lot of places that offer this kind of drink in the area. The pandan drink was my fav of the two, I loved how light the drinks were - definitely not too sweet! They're just a pop up I believe, I loved the drive thru concept lol. We'll definitely be back, and hope they stay for a while! read more
Definitely hits home with the Asian flavors. I've only gotten their Corn Cloud and it lives up to its name. The drink itself has a thicker consistency compared to their other drinks since it's made with corn. The creamy coconut cloud doesn't overpower the corn, but complements it. This is a creamier type of drink. I've visited their popup at Modo and popups at the SJMade festivals and service is always quick. My friend tried the Orange Sunset and the lemongrass flavor is strong. She said it reminded her of eating Bun Bo Hue lol read more
Very convenient drive-thru. The owner was very friendly and explained that they are here as a temporary pop-up inside MoDo with a limited menu (pandan dream, corn cloud, orange sunset) until September. The rest of the menu is MoDo's. We got the pandan dream and the corn cloud. Sweetness and ice levels are fixed. Both were delicious! I'm a fan of sweet and creamy drinks so both of these were very up my alley. I think the pandan dream tasted mostly like soy milk and could've used stronger pandan taste, but it was still great. Corn cloud was super creamy and sweet with small hints of saltiness. Both drinks were on the sweet side, but I didn't mind since I can usually handle sweet things and I think these drinks need to be sweet to work as well as they did! read more
You order through the drive through and they share space with MoDo. There was little to no line. The service is excellent. The owners are very friendly, passionate and engaging. The drinks were made pretty fast as well. I tried all of their signature drinks, Pandan Dream, Corn Milk and Orange Sunset. They tasted delicious and the quality is really good. If you like Vietnamese drinks, the place is the place for you. The orange sunset was very refreshing and was my favorite because I'm more into fruit teas. I came here twice in one day, to get some for my family. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Nha Cafe! My personal favorite is the Pandan Dream - it really is a dream. It wasn't powdery at all and truly tastes what heaven must feel like. If you're a pandan lover, you'll definitely be a fan of this drink. We also got the corn cloud and it reminds me of a dessert I've had in the past! I loved the creamy consistency of the corn cloud. The owners are so kind and wonderful at connecting with their customers. Such a cute idea to take pictures with your customers at the drive thru! I love seeing amazing small businesses succeed and I know they'll be thriving with their hard work, yummy recipes, and genuine connections with their community. read more
I saw Nha Cafe's booth at the West Side Feast Fest today, which was a street food event. It was a hot day so I was scouting the area for drinks, and their homey booth design caught my eye. Upon looking at their menu, I saw the unique composition of the drinks and knew I had to try some! I got the "Pandan Dream" which was pandan, mung bean, coconut and soy milk all in one drink! It was like the avengers of the che flavor profile! The drink itself tastes exactly how you expect it to beand it was very smooth. It felt like I was "dreaming" on the first sip. Note that the drink is $8.50, so it's definitely on the pricer side. You also can't adjust the sweetness and ice level of the drink. Nha Cafe left a strong impression, and I'll definitely need to try their other drinks such as the "Corn Cloud". read more

I've been seeing drinks from Nhā all over IG and knew I had to try them right away! A friend and I stopped by the drive thru Friday afternoon and got to meet co-owner Brandon who took a selfie with us. They took over the old Boston Market. We ordered the Signature Trio: *Pandan Dream *Corn Cloud *Orange Sunset Pandan Dream is milky green with earthy flavors of mung bean, coconut, and of course Pandan. It's quite sweet. Corn Cloud was surprisingly my favorite! It reminded a friend and me of Filipino dessert Maja Blanca which is predominately made of corn and coconut jello-like pudding. So yum with corn flavored milk and topped with coconut cream so light it's almost like whipped cream. Orange Sunset was so refreshing with a blend of orange, peach, and lemongrass tea. This was my second favorite after I took a sip of a friend's order. I might get this one next time. Check out this drive-thru only pop up on Wednesday-Sunday from 12pm-8pm across the parking lot from MoDo mochi donuts. read more

Corn milk with coconut foam... What kind of Viet millennial sorcery is this?! IDK but it's SO GOOD. And, currently it's my fav non-caffeinated drink. More on that later. The owners of Nhà Cafe started out as pop-up in their backyard. Pass forward several months, they're now collaborating with MoDo (the best mochi donuts) and operating as a pop-up shop at the former Boston Market. This is not another boba shop, Nhà Café doesn't even have boba. They serve Viet-inspired drinks via drive-thru only. There's communal tables in the plaza courtyard where you can enjoy your drinks. M E N U Limited soft opening menu: * Specialties (?): Pandan Dream (pandan soy milk w/ mung beans + coconut), Corn Cloud (corn milk w/ coconut foam), and Orange Sunset (lemongrass tea w/ orange + peach) * Lattes: Strawberry matcha, tiramisu, hōjicha, ube * Refreshers: Strawberry, lilikoi, guava Price: $6-$7.50; one size only. Fixed sweetness + ice levels. Dairy-free and caffeine-free friendly. * MoDo Snacks: Malasada + Ice Cream D R I N K S Drink spread: https://tinyurl.com/53yrm43r * Corn Cloud: Corn Milk w/ coconut foam ($7) // 5+ stars --Caffeine-free Sữa bắp is Viet corn milk and I think Nhà Café is the first in the bay to serve it fresh. It's refreshing, lightly creamy, and full of natural sweet corn flavor that's balanced by the slight saltiness of the deliciously frothy coconut foam. I usually go 25-50% sweet for my drinks and at a fixed sweetness, it wasn't too sweet. My newest obsession. * Pandan Dream: Pandan infused soy milk w/ mung beans, coconut ($7) // 4 stars --Caffeine-free + dairy-free Refreshingly sweet with vanilla-y, nutty, and earthy notes. A bit too sweet for me tho...but not nearly as sweet as 7 Leaves which to me tastes like diabetes. If they allow for sweetness adjustments in the future, would def get it again. * Strawberry Matcha w/ soy milk, vanilla, milk foam ($7.50) // 4.5 stars Not my drink but I had a sip. The matcha is robust and earthy with a nice vegetal bitterness that's cut through with the sweet strawberry purée and creamy milk foam. S E R V I C E Friendly and fast. On a Sunday afternoon with two cars ahead, we ordered and received our drinks in less than 5 minutes. Overall, Nhà Café is a great addition the South Bay with their unique, Viet-inspired drinks particularly their Corn Cloud. Huge plus for the convenience of a drive-thru! read more

This has been on my must try list for a couple of months. Corn milk is one of my favorite drinks in Vietnam but it's not the easiest drink to find in the US. You can barely find this in Vietnam even! The only issue is I also love Pandan milk so it was very difficult to choose. The location is actually a drive thru. at this moment since they are a pop-up. So it was a little confusing to find. I was walking around so I ended up walking to the drive thru. Got to speak with the owner who was very excited about the drinks. I think when someone is proud of their products you can trust in the quality. I got two drinks for myself and decided to try the corn cloud first. It was perfect. A must try for the Summer. I love how strong the corn taste carries through. Not too sweet. The pandan was also tasty. But I ended up drinking that the next day. A must try if you want to discover a new tasty drink read more
Fun little drive through experience with some tasty drinks. I like the unique flavors and the workers were very friendly and wanted to take a selfie with us lol. - Corn cloud was v corny and light in a good way. it tasted like those corn soups you can get from vending machines japan. solid - pandan was also good and very creamy and sweet (a bit too sweet for me) but still lovely to see pandan getting much love read more
Nha Cafe is doing a pop up for about the next few months or so which I found a bit sad because their drinks are so unique and unlike a lot of other coffee/boba shops. But I'm so glad I got the chance to try it before the pop up was over. The corn cloud was everything I wanted and more. I love how creamy and naturally sweet from the corn it was. Every sip was so refreshing, light and just the right amount of sweetness. The corn doesn't have that artificial flavor. The coconut cream just adds that extra layer of richness without taking away too much from the corn. This was such an unexpected combo that I didn't know would work so well together. The service was fast. Our drinks were prepared in just a couple of minutes. The owner asked us for feedback and explained his pop up business a little bit before we left. He was friendly and really down to earth. I do wish them the best and hopefully they can find a permanent spot to open up on their own. The drinks are unique and made of true quality. read more
This is a small local business yall must try! I love the unique flavors they offer. Super refreshing. The corn cloud is on the heavier side, similar to the Vietnamese dessert chè bắp. They make the drinks fast so the drive thru line flies by. The only thing you can't do is adjust the sweetness level. But I think the default sweetness is already good. If you prefer it less sweet, waiting a bit for the ice to melt should do trick. read more

Are they no longer operating out of the drive thru in Santa Clara ? Are they only doing pop ups now?
Yup, we are no longer at the drive-thru. We hope to find our own storefront this year, but will be doing pop-ups in the meantime. Do follow us on Instagram @nhathecafe to stay updated on our upcoming pop-ups and any further updates! 😊🙏
