The che slightly underwhelming despite a large after lunch crowd. The green jelly was not chewy enough and the ice was nuggets rather than shaved. Frankly prefer Bambu although the prices there have gotten steep. Che here is about $8. Ambiance is cute and nice for family hangouts. Not sure if their other menu options like pudding are better, but the Che wasn't anything to write home about, unfortunately. It was just ok.

** Visited with a group of 3 on a Wednesday evening A pretty sleek modern Vietnamese dessert spot in Vietnam town- it had replaced what was previously TeaLyfe. We came as we heard from a friend how amazing the che desserts were. As it's nestled in Vietnam town, parking varies depending on the time and day you're visiting. We were lucky and got parking right in front. The staff is kind, and quick to get your order in. OKAY THE FOOD: - Che Thai: a classic. I usually get this dessert when trying new Vietnamese dessert spots, as you really can't mess up this dessert. It was refreshing and packed with toppings. - Flan on the side: The flan was yummy! It's honestly the perfect Vietnamese flan, though I wish it was bigger for its price haha

The dessert is so good, I really like it! This is my second time come back to this location and they never disappointed me. Delicious desserts and great quality every time, the customer service is amazing as well

This is a modern cafe that provides traditional vietnamese dessert in vietnam town. Personally, the desserts are a little too sweet and's flavorful for me but I know a lot of folks that enjoy it. Parking: Plaza parking in Vietnam town. Service: Generally fast!

Modern looking Vietnamese dessert place in Vietnam town. We were looking for Che after lunch and came across this place. It had clean aesthetics and minimal decor. We ordered the combo which is Che suong sa hat luu. Came with red colored chest nuts, grass jelly, mung bean, pandan jelly on ice. It was very refreshing. And the person who took our order was very nice and patient as my kid practice their Vietnamese.

The girl who took my order looks like she had a rough day. No hello, no smile no welcoming. Please train your staff to be bubbly with customers. This is a desserts shop-perhaps someone with a sweet personality will fit the place. Cheers!

They specialize in Vietnamese desserts and this was where Tea Lyfe used to be before they closed down. It's a nice dessert spot with a clean, glowing atmosphere. I like the fact you can adjust the sweetness and ice level. Mainly these drinks and desserts can be pretty sweet by default. The employees were very friendly. I ordered the D6 Durian Dessert (Che Sau Rieng). Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking. I probably would not pay the extra fee for the durian add-on, but this came with the order. This was more like durian flavored milk foam rather than the actual durian fruit. Also, make sure to ask ice on the side because the flavor will be diluted. It was also on the pricey side too.

Stopped by here real quick during a weekend Vietnam Town trip with my bestie. I've never really tried soy pudding or the more modern chè, so when I see Oche Desserts offers that on their menu, I decided to give it a try. The shop is actually pretty spacious, probably fits around 20-30 people, and I LOVE the minimalist aesthetic. Super clean, simple, and just nice to be in. The cashier was really friendly and we got our order in like 5 minutes. I ordered the S1 Egg Cream Soy Pudding and D8 Special Coconut Flan. Everything was packed nicely in to-go containers, and omg their mascot/logo is sooo cute. For to-go they also give you a separate bag of ice, their ice are the type of premium crunchy ice chips that melt in your mouth. Flavor-wise, I really enjoyed the S1. The soy pudding was soft, fragrant, and had that smooth jiggly texture. The egg cream was sooo good, and the toasted coconut flakes added a nice little crunch to balance everything out. The D8 Special Coconut Flan is def a must-try if you're into coconut + flan (which I am lol). The flan itself was a bit thicker than my personal preference, felt like they might've used heavy cream, but still well made and not overly sweet. The caramel layer had a nice color and flavor. All the toppings inside were pretty good too, especially the coconut strips. The coconut milk sauce tied everything together really nicely. Overall, even though I'm not the biggest fan of chè, Oche Dessert actually did a really good job. I'd come back to try more items for surE, D4 Avocado Dessert and D7 Coconut Palm Dessert are already on my list!

Ochē desserts are amazing! I make sure to stop by every time I'm in Viet town. The decor is trendy and the staff is very sweet. They are always happy to answer questions and make changes to the drinks. I've tried several of the desserts because I am usually here with my family so we order many of them. My favorite one is D4 Avocado Dessert. It comes with avocado puree, avocado chunks, pudding, jelly, and coconut milk. I always get regular sweet and it is perfect. Not too sweet. Very refreshing and delicious! D5. The Thai Dessert was also good! It has more fruits with a coconut base. Also refreshing and delicious! D9. Pandan Soy is a pandan lover's dream! Overall, every drink I've had from her is done to perfection. They get busy, but they make drinks fast. Next time you are in the area, give this place a try. It is 100% worth it!

A refreshing dessert after downing a bowl of pho. I like how you're able to adjust the sweetness level here. Toppings are fresh and satisfying. One thing to note is that the durian flavor was quite strong in the house signature che.

    Taro Soy Pudding
    Helen C.

Pulled up around 7:30 PM on a weeknight and it was completely empty, though a couple more groups trickled in as the night went on. It looked like most folks were there for the che desserts, but I was actually there for the soy pudding! Seating is comfortable and plentiful if you want to catch up with friends. Taro Soy Pudding (4/5): The soy pudding has a perfectly smooth and silky texture, but isn't very sweet on its own and the soy flavor is pretty subtle. The taro is almost a thick, creamy layer over top and provides most of the flavor. Not mind blowing, but definitely pleasant.

CHE THAI! get that as the perfect fruity dessert after a filling meal, they don't skimp on the toppings!! comes with lychee and the other classics, you def can't just use a straw, at that point open the lid and use the spoon to get all the goodies out. I got regular sweet and thought that was perfect. I never really go out to buy che, but this place caught my eye and saw lots of ppl outside, that's when you know it's good. I'm not a fan of the che with lots of beans, so che thai is perfect with the fruity toppings:)

O Chè was a pretty good spot for Vietnamese desserts. I ordered the chè Thái thập cẩm and the avocado with coconut milk. The service was fast, and I didn't have to wait, which was nice. It looked like some of the chè might have been pre-packed already, so it was quick and easy to order. The store also still had some seating space, so it's a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy dessert. Overall, the chè was pretty okay. I liked the avocado with coconut milk more, while the chè Thái thập cẩm was a little too sweet for my taste. Still, it's worth trying if you're craving Vietnamese chè.

Ordering is also super easy with their touchscreen kiosks, which I always appreciate. The texture and flavor of their bingsu are on point. The ice is incredibly soft and fluffy with that melt-in-your-mouth consistency you want from a good bingsu. I ordered the mango, and every component was great--the mango was fresh, the toppings complemented everything well, and there was a good balance of fruit and sweetness without being overwhelming. My only small complaint is that I usually love getting both strawberry and mango bingsu, but they don't offer split flavors. Ordering two separate bingsu is just way too much, so I wish there were an option to do half and half. That minor gripe aside, the quality of the bingsu itself easily makes this a 5/5 for me. Great texture, fresh toppings, plenty of seating, and an easy ordering process. Definitely a spot I'd happily come back to whenever I'm craving bingsu!

The mango desserts were easily the best part of my visit. I tried the Pomelo & Mango with Sago, which combined sweet mango, creamy coconut milk, chewy sago, and fresh pomelo for a refreshing balance of flavors and textures. I also enjoyed the Mango Chewy Ball, where the fresh mango and smooth mango juice paired perfectly with the soft, chewy rice balls. Both desserts felt light while still being satisfying, making them a great option on a warm day. I also had the chance to try a few of the other menu items. The mango mochi was fresh and soft, with ripe mango wrapped inside a delicate chewy layer. For something different, the spicy chili fish balls offered a savory contrast to the fruit desserts, adding a bit of heat and a springy texture that balanced out all of the sweetness. The ordering process was quick and straightforward, and my food arrived not long after I found a table. After they started getting more hype, the lines became longer and longer. I think it's worth trying, but personally I wouldn't wait in a huge line for it. Overall, the matcha itself tastes authentic and is prepared well, but some drinks are just too bitter for my preference. My recommendations: the ice cream or Crème Brûlée Matcha. Those were easily the standouts for me.
