Matcha Town First Visit My first time at Matcha Town, and I had such a great experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their products, which made choosing a drink even more enjoyable. I ordered the Lime Cloud Mascarpone Matcha with cheese cold foam on the side, and it was delicious! ‍ The flavors came together so well, and it was definitely a drink I would order again. Thank you to all the staff for your patience. Definitely recommend this location. Great drink, great service, and a wonderful first visit!

We got the matcha latte, strawberry matcha, hojicha latte and apple white champaca matcha. The drinks were all so yummy, but the star of the show was the PISTACHIO GELATO. We just kept saying "oh my gosh..." All the workers were so nice too! Offering free samples and just being welcoming overall. The store is really cute and clean also. It was fun to stay inside, and beat the heat with some yummy cold drinks and gelato!

Sad this matcha spot didn't live up to my expectations :( considering its convenient location. The pricing is kinda steep for what you get. There are only regular sized drinks, no upgrades to large/no large cup options. There is no option to change ice levels. Most drinks come out to be at least $6.50+ and that's not including any additional toppings or upgrades. The workers are nice but not as efficient as other tea shops such as Heytea. It took at least 20 minutes for the drinks to come out and there were not that many customers in the store. The numbers being called were past our numbers and we had only ordered 2 drinks. The team could do better in training workers on efficiency The salted cheese Jasmine latte I ordered was alright and the pink guava matcha latte was good, but nothing mind blowing in my opinion Overall, I don't think I'd be coming back unless I'm desperately craving matcha in the area or unless they change some things

The parking lot is shared with H Mart so it can get busy. There are only a couple seats inside and it feels like mostly a to go place. Ordering is through a kiosk, which I love. I got the Salted Cheese White Champaca Matcha. This was good. There was a hint of champaca and the salted cheese foam was tasty, but I kept wishing the matcha itself came through more. I guess that's my mistake for ordering one of the flavored drinks instead of something like the Pure Matcha. I'll try that one next time. The No. 5 matcha is their strongest matcha gelato flavor and it was fantastic. This one has a deep matcha flavor and definitely leans bitter. I can see it being too bitter for some people, but that was what I enjoyed about it.

We came across this place online and realized it was practically right next to our house, so after washing our car today, we decided to stop by for a little treat. This location used to be a Jamba Juice, but it's been transformed into a really cute and inviting shop. Ordering was easy through the kiosk. My daughter tried the new Strawberry Matcha, and I ordered a Matcha Latte with oat milk. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that there wasn't an extra charge for oat milk, which seems pretty rare these days. We noticed a sign outside saying you get a discount on your first order if you use the app. We ended up ordering at the kiosk instead, so we missed out. It would be nice if the discount also applied to first-time kiosk orders. Everything on the menu looked delicious. The ice cream and cakes especially caught our attention. The cakes looked beautiful, although they were a bit on the pricey side. We'll definitely be back to try them another time. My daughter said the Strawberry Matcha was better than many of the other places we've tried, which is saying a lot. I enjoyed my Matcha Latte, but this one didn't wow me, so I think I'll try a different drink next time to find my favorite. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood, and we'll definitely be back!

It's been a while since I went to a matcha/tea spot and thought "Wow! This is amazing!" However, Matcha Town exceeded all my expectations, and that was indeed what I thought when I had the first sip of my drink. We went in on a weekday evening and there were a couple of people in the store. It's relatively small with not really any seating, and you place your order on a kiosk to the side. I ordered the salted cheese jasmine matcha with 70% sweetness. I do like my drinks on the sweeter side, so I thought this was the perfect sugar level. The matcha really came through while the sweetness enhanced it. The floral jasmine flavor was also really fragrant. I love when drinks have a savory component as well, so the salted cheese really topped off the drink perfectly. Matcha Town also has a wide selection of gelato flavors, so I'd love to come back to try the gelato. Perhaps I'll get the salted cheese matcha float if I'm feeling extra decadent next time!

Been here a few times. The cafe is located in the same plaza as Hmart, so while there's parking, it will get crazy during peak hours especially in the evenings and weekends. There's a floral fragrance emanating from the store, but it's pleasant. You can order via the kiosks or the front. They have matcha drinks, gelato and cakes. I've tried their guava matcha and white champaca matcha drinks. The matcha flavor is strong and the color is bold. I didn't have to wait too long for drinks even when the store is busy. I also appreciate you can customize your drinks to have zero added sugar. There's very limited seating so it's more of a to-go situation. Would come back here!

Cute little store in a busy plaza. They have many unique ice cream flavors. Customer service was great, definitely a place to stop by and grab quick drinks with your friends! I got the apple white champaca match and it was refreshing (and really does taste like apple).

I have tried the Salted Cheese White Champaca Matcha, Guava Matcha, and Oolong Matcha. Pretty solid each time. Great location

Hojicha latte float & Hojicha + black sesame gelato
    Marie P.

We tried the hojicha latte float and the hojicha & black sesame gelato. hojicha latte float - 10/10, the drink itself is not too sweet, creamy and has a nice hojicha flavor. the ice cream has a bold, roasted taste that enhances the tasted of the latte.very delicious. hojicha & black sesame gelato - 10/10, both flavors are amazing. the hojicha has a nice roasted flavor while the black sesame is nutty. both gelatos are creamy and have a great level of sweetness. Before getting your drinks/ gelato, you need to order through one of the kiosks. When we ordered, staff were friendly helping us decide on our gelato; moreover, our drink came out quickly soon after we decided on our gelato. The interior gives off a bougie vibe that is clean and classy. Not too much seating, like two tables with few chairs. Overall, although somewhat pricey, drinks/gelato were delicious and would come back again.

I've been wanting to try Matcha Town since they opened their Cupertino location. When I saw this one near HMart, I took the chance to try it out! Fortunately, when we went on a Sunday afternoon, the line wasn't bad at all, and service was quick! Matcha town offers a selection of drinks and gelato. My partner and I wanted to make sure we got a taste of it all! First, we ordered a regular cup of their gelato and got their hojicha and no. 1 matcha flavors (we sampled hojicha, jasmine matcha, no. 1 matcha, and pineapple & passionfruit). From what we tried, their gelato flavors were really good! I really wish they had their different levels of matcha gelato when I went. Next time, I also want to try the white champaca. For drinks we got their salted cheese matcha float with jasmine matcha gelato and their matcha latte with oat milk. Both were solid! The salted cheese matcha float with jasmine matcha gelato was definitely more of a sweet treat, and it was yummy. I got 70% sweetness which is good if you're craving something sweet, but for me, I feel like I could personally go down to 50% next time. My partner got his matcha latte with 100% sweetness, and he really enjoyed it.

This place is located inside the same plaza as H Mart. Parking situation was insane that drivers drove crazy and coming out of parking every which way. The store is next to a UMe tea shop and still had a lot of foot traffic on its own. The inside of the store is small with 4 comfy chairs and a window table to sit at. The rest is wooden and nicely decorated with matcha pictures. Order is by kiosk mostly. We ordered the drinks on the kiosk without much else to do. But we can only order the size of the ice cream cup thru the kiosk. We still had to talk to the staff and ask for the specific flavors to go into the cup. Maybe this is more efficient when it's busy? We weren't given samples to try so we just had to hope flavors worked well together. Pineapple mango was tropical and the white champaca gave it a roasted nutty flavor. The ice cream was soft and really creamy. Overall, the ice cream was good for the hot day and we would come back again to try other drinks and ice cream.

Matcha Town has opened in my neighborhood. I love to see new businesses popping up and wanting to try them. They are located in the same plaza as H Mart, Ono Hawaiia n, California Fish Grill but closer to Starbucks and Panda Express. The parking is challenging in this stripmall. The interior is modern and simple with a few tables to sit at. It's definitely a grab and go feeling. Order via kiosks. I ordered the... Pink Guava Matcha: Guava Milk + matcha cheese foam (4/5). Flavorful and fragrant. A nice change from all the milktea or fruit tea places. Support your local business.

A line to order from a screen... they don't take cash and they would rather replace customer service with a machine. No

With some coffees a second cup will give me a stomach ache (especially since I drink my cold brews black and bitter like my soul), but I had no problems with their cold brews! I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. Husband got a cappuccino and a strawberry mini pie and was extremely pleased with his order. The service is friendly, but some things may have been new on the day we went. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. Overall, a good coffee shop and I am really happy to see vegan pastry options! My husband is getting into pinball, which was part of the motivation to come out and try Chromatic, so I am sure we'll be back again next time he wants to hit up Slingshot (in the same building), and I look forward to the coffee and treats!

The seating area is quite limited for the large crowd it attracts, making the atmosphere inside feel a bit chaotic at peak times. Fortunately, the baristas are super polite and work fast, keeping the long lines moving efficiently. The coffee menu and the retail bean selection are both impressive. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. Great coffee beans and fast service make it worth dropping in, even if the indoor seating situation is a bit tight.

Service was efficient and super friendly, even when the lines were busy (it's a con, what do you expect) and even though the food was prepared elsewhere and taken there, it was pretty good and helped tide me over during the long convention. For my order (over a span of 2 days), I got the: 1) Hojicha Milk Tea (Red Blooded Nephew): -I got this iced. -Not bad, not too sweet and not watered down either. Great pick me up. Nice smoky and roasted flavor to it. Pretty good. 2) Fire Nation's Butter Mochi: -Certain days they would run out of one flavor, other days they would swap it up from what I believe. -I got a black sesame and kinako banana. -I think I got a third one, but a friend ate that. It was more of a savory flavor, but unfortunately forgot what it was. -My favorite was the kinako banana since it was a neat twist on what a banana bread would be like in a different form. -Very filling, decently large piece of butter (shaped like a rectangle of butter) mochi and easily shareable too. -You have to eat it the day of since it does get dry and hard if you try saving it for the next day, sadly. 3) Spam Musubi (Sizzle Crisp Rice Snack): -Decent spam musubi. -Rice had the perfect texture, it didn't fall apart and despite it being, I'm sure prepared before hitting the con floor, it wasn't soggy in the slightest. Not bad. Hopefully one day I can stop by their actual location!
