This was our first time visiting Kasama Ca Phe after they opened. It's located in the first level of an apartment complex across the street from Whole Foods by the Alameda and is a parking garage right next to the cafe for retail guests. The interior is quite spacious and there were multiple groups of customers studying or working. It wasn't too crowded for a Friday afternoon, so we were able to order and receive our drinks within 10 minutes. The owner / manager took our orders and gave a helpful overview of the drinks on the menu and how they source coffee beans from all over Southeast Asia. He also mentioned that their drinks are all "not too sweet" which is my preferred level of sweetness. We ordered the Kalamansi Summer Spritz and Pandan Muoi Latte, which is their most popular drink. The Kalamansi Summer Spritz was refreshing and crisp without being bitter or astringent as citrus mixed with espresso can sometimes be. The Pandan Muoi Latte was balanced and had the perfect level of salt on the cream top, which brought out the grassy and nutty flavors of the pandan which I found to be unique, as other cafes' pandan drinks tend to lean more coconut in flavor. I could have used a small spoon for the cream, as it did get stuck on top of the ice cubes as I drank it. I appreciate that their menu is intentional and consolidated to drinks that represent both Vietnamese and Filipino culture. This is a great cafe and I'll be back for more.
I was excited to try out this new cafe shop! I couldn't decide between pandan muối latte and cà phê sữa đá. The staff told me their drinks are all not too sweet but between the two, the pandan is sweeter. I don't prefer my drinks to be too sweet, but since it was the afternoon I was worried about stronger caffeine in the cà phê sữa đá. *Note: this shop does not allow customization/adjustments on signature drinks What I got: - Pandan Muối Latte (3.5/5): the Pandan is very light - I could smell the pandan from the cream top, but couldn't really taste it in the drink. It's not too sweet and the coffee is not strong. Overall, this drink is mild and cohesive, but doesn't have any flavors that make it stand out. Im glad I got to try this place. It's a nicely designed cafe with some seating suitable for work/study (if you can grab a table). While the Pandan Muối Latte didn't stand out to me, I would be willing to come back to try their Cà Phê Sữa Ðá next time.
Kasama Ca Phe is a super nice touch to the cafes situated in San Jose! I stopped by with my husband since we were drawn in by the cultural touch of both our culture (we are both Viet/Filipino). We stopped by when it wasn't as busy during their soft opening so we were able to get served fast and even had enough time to chat with the baristas/owners. They were super friendly and sweet answering our questions about their decor and their coffee process! Inside felt very cozy and minimalistic which was a refreshing touch than what im used to here in SJ. My husband and I tried their Pandan Muoi Latte (a good 8/10) and their Davao Mocha Coffee (5.5/10 for us). We enjoyed their Pandan drink with the nice touch of the salted cream top, def elevated the drink overall and gave us that Pandan taste that wasn't overly artificial. The Davao Mocha was a little too bitter for our liking and wished we could've had a bit more of the mocha be incorporated into the overall drink to balance out the bitterness. Overall - loved the concept but would only come back for the Pandan Muoi Latte!
I invited my friend to try Kasama Cà Phê with me on a Monday morning around 10am. My friend got a kick out of the short plastic chairs and tables. He had just come from Vietnam where it was common to see this type of furniture at restaurants, so it was like a nod to his own experience. I saw that they had a small display of pastries, but I did appreciate that their focus was really on the coffee. If I remember correctly, they had 3-4 specialty drinks. My friend got an iced Pandan Muối Latte, and I got an iced Davao Mocha. The Pandan Muối Latte had a salted cream over a balanced pandan espresso drink. I liked that the chocolate in the Davao Mocha wasn't overpowering. Both drinks were very good in their own right, and you really couldn't go wrong. Can't wait to try their cafe sua da.
I've passed by this place last month and I can see the long line out the door during their soft opening day. So I came by on a Sunday morning greeted very warmly with so few customers. Kasamera Cà Phê is another addition in the South Bay specialty brewing both Filipino and Vietnamese coffee with a distinguished flavor for the ones with discriminating taste. Located in an area comprised of commercial buildings right across from Whole Foods Market. No cash required simply placed your order via self-service kiosk which seems to be the norm. I got the Davao Mocha a unique Filipino coffee deeply rich flavor unsweetened yet refreshing. Menu selection is very limited with so few items to choose from other than a pate chaude and butter mochi and not much else. Hours are shorter from 8 to 4 seven days a week no after hour drinks.

D R I N K S * Pandan Muối Latte w/ oat milk ($7.50) An iced latte with housemade pandan syrup, pandan salted cream, and toasted coconut - creamy, beautifully layered, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. Since they use real pandan leaves instead of artificial extract, it's not the usual bright green. Instead, you get pandan's natural, subtly sweet, vanilla-like flavor. Do not use a straw....the velvety salted cream adds a savory touch that balances the espresso and makes every sip taste like liquid crack. * Davao Mocha w/ oat milk ($7) Made with Viet catimor coffee and cocoa from Davao, Philippines, the iced mocha was rich, creamy, and not too sweet. It had deep dark chocolate flavors with subtle dark cherry notes. Well-balanced, smooth, and more elevated than a typical iced mocha. S E R V I C E Friendly and efficient. A M B I A N C E Modern and minimalist with warm wood accents and iconic red plastic stools that give a subtle nod to Vietnam's café culture. There's a mix of standard tables, low tables, a communal table, and handful of stools outside. Restroom and Wi-Fi available. Overall, we loved the drinks we tried at Kasama Cà Phê and appreciate how they thoughtfully showcase SE AZN ingredients and flavors. Good thing it's an hour away from me cuz I would go broque wanting to come here on the regular!
Finally tried this place and Loved their coffee! Tried their peach pastry and mochi butter too (not in the picture haha) Definitely recommend their signature coffees, it was not too sweet and well balanced! Peach pastry was really good but mochi butter was not really my favorite. So many people were there on Saturday, enjoying their coffee. I don't know if it was music or a limited space, I couldn't really have a conversation with friends so we sit outside. Parking is limited so maybe use parking space for Whole Foods parking lot and cross the street. Be careful when crossing cause people often drive really fast on that road.
I wouldn't say this is my new go to for Viet coffee or anything. It was not bad! But I wouldn't go out of my way for it. (Parking isn't great). The pandan cream top is pretty yummy though! Pandan Muoi Latte was STRONGGGG and the pandan cream top itself is so rich/decadent. It's creamy and fragrant without distracting from that punchy viet coffee. If you love a strong latte, this is pretty darn good! Menu is limited for soft opening, but it does seem pretty expensice.
We were so excited to try this out that I completely forgot to take a photo! Our order included: Pandan Muoi Iced Latte Son La Matcha Iced Latte Davao Iced Mocha The taste of all three is like no other. The Pandan cream is even super tasty. Slightly salty and a bit nutty. I had the Pandan latte. Small but freaking mighty! It has subtle taste of pandan but you can taste every ingredient they put in it. Sprinkle of matcha on top of the cream. YUM! Lines were long but it went by really quick. Honestly love the red plastic chairs and squat chairs as outdoor seating. Now we need street food hehe Can't wait to see what else they come up with after soft opening! Owner is super sweet and Kasama is now in our top 3!
Came through because it's a Filipino/Vietnamese fusion coffee shop. Still was a soft opening so they are working out "the kinks". Line was out the door and maybe 5 people deep beyond that. We came in around 2pm on a Saturday. Took about 23 minutes from start of line to getting out drinks. Ordered the "Pandan Muoi latte" and "kalamansi summer spritz". Pandan Muoi latte definitely was more cream forward with nice notes of coconut/Pandan sweetener, the presentation is very nice with a sprinkle of Pandan over the top, Kalamansi summer spritz, was the highlight of our trip. It was different. Kalamansi (think of a tangerine and a lime had a baby) limeade, so sugar and sweet plus espresso. This shouldn't work but it does. I kept drinking it and kept saying that. It was very refreshing with a nice caffeine kick. Both drinks were great and I would order again if the wife and I make the trio back down to SJ. Staff was friendly and the place was clean/modern.
Went with my mini me to check this place out. Parking can be challenging. There is a garage connected to the cafe but you have to pay to park. And there's only about 20 stalls. Street parking is a hit or miss. If all else fails, park at Whole Foods across the street. It was busy when we arrived but they are quick. All the seating was taken but if you want to hang out, there are small stools available, outside and inside. The decor is a nice and the lighting is mellow. A pleasant atmosphere. The iced pandan latte was delicious. It had a nutty taste to it also. This is the best pandan latte I've had. It even beats the one I had in the Philippines. Make a visit and see for yourself! I'll be back.
As many in the bay, I've been seeing videos of this place all over online! Hearing that a Filipino + Vietnamese spot opened up in my area, I had to make a trip to stop by and support. I grabbed a matcha son la, pate choud, and calamansi butter mochi. The matcha was good, with oatmilk for no extra charge! They didn't ask and I should have mentioned, but it wasn't sweetened. As someone who needs a bit of sugar in their drinks, I know it would've hit 10x more a bit sweeter. The pate choud was great! Very flavorful and Venice and flaky on the outside. The calamansi mochi bitter however, was a bit disappointing. The flavor was good, but the texture was too sticky and not enough structure. Overall, the items were good enough for me to return, especially if I'm in the area. I'm definitely interested in coming back once the lines die down a bit.
Stopped by during my lunch break with coworkers. We all got the Pandan Muoi Latte. It was strong, but it was what we needed! There wasn't a hanging menu, but there was a paper menu at the cash register. We appreciate the worker explaining to us how to properly consume the drink. The cafe was clean, modern, and there were other folks studying/working.

Kasama Cà Phê is an incredible addition to the local coffee scene. I stopped by for an iced Calamansi drink, and it was one of the best I've had. The coffee was bold, smooth, and perfectly balanced. As an ICU doc, I don't get much time off but when I do, you'll see me here. The shop itself has a clean, modern aesthetic with a relaxing atmosphere, and I need that peacefulness at times. The staff was welcoming, and everything felt thoughtfully done, from the presentation to the flavors. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese + Filipino coffee or just a great local café, Kasama Cà Phê is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. read more

LOVEEEEEE this place! I was super excited to see it was finally soft opening and had to come try. I've come a few times and always get the pandan muoi latte. Flavor is rich and not too sweet, and they use nugget ice which doesn't water down your drink when it melts (details details!!). The pandan cream top is delicious. My mom isn't a big coffee drinker, and she even liked it and asked when I'll be going back to bring one for her next time (bonus points lol). I've also gotten the kalamansi butter mochi and pate chaud and both are great! The cafe has great decor and ambiance. The vibes are good, a lot of people study/work here. It can get pretty busy but the line moves fast and the quality is consistent every time I've gone. Staff are super nice too! I'm excited for their grand opening and to see what new drinks they'll offer! read more
We love checking out new cafes! I ordered the Cà Phê Sữa Đá, and it was fantastic super smooth with a really unique flavor profile. It wasn't as strong as I was expecting, it's possible the ice diluted it. Super excited to try their other drinks . read more

Visited Kasama Cà Phê during their soft opening and it was a lovely experience! There was a line upon arrival, but it went by pretty quickly. The workers were so friendly and welcoming, and even offered recommendations from their menu. There's actually a pretty good amount of seating for people to wait or do some work. Our drinks came out in a few minutes. My boyfriend and I ordered the Davao Mocha and the Pandan Muối Latte. The Davao Mocha wasn't too sweet and reminded me of Milo and Ovaltine. We were both really impressed with the Pandan Muối Latte! All the notes in it complimented each other so well, with a delicious pandan salted cream, and was also not too sweet. I love the simplicity of the interior, it showcased Asian cultures while giving earthy, home-y, and relaxing vibes. I also appreciate that they source from Vietnam, the Philippines, and more. We'll definitely be coming back again, can't wait to see the full menu next time! read more

This place makes my half Filipino heart full. I love fusion of Filipino Vietnamese coffee. A place I can resonate with flavors that remind me of my culture and up bringing and the best compliment I can give as Asian American is its " not too sweet " the perfect balance of strong coffee flavor and subtle notes of sweetness that's not too overpowering. I tired a few different drinks here and pastries and you really can't go wrong with anything. My favorite so far is the pandan latte. I love foam top with robust coffee flavor mixed with evenly blend of milk with nice hit of pandan flavoring. Today I tried calamansi spritz. What is Calamansi? Calamansi is small tart like citrusy fruit. It's basically like a small lime/lemon. It's often used in cooking like when my mom would make bistek or drinks like calamansi juice. Kalamansi Summer Spritz This was so unique! I never had drink like this! The best way I can describe it is like Italian Soda with calamansi flavoring and shot of expresso. I never knew these two things go together. The tart like citrusy flavor with shot of expresso was nice surprise. It reminded me of one of those chocolate orange candies with a hit of coffee. Overall, I am really enjoying the close proximity of this place to my workout class. The atmosphere is so serene and zen. I'll definitely be back more often to try more things. Kasama Ca Phe is a beautiful cafe located downtown SJ near Whole Foods on Stockton Ave. Once you step inside, you are welcomed with a modern interior that harmoniously blends the Vietnamese aesthetic with a clean minimalistic vibe. The interior features a long wooden community table, stainless steel diner tables, along with the iconic plastic stools. Somehow its just all works together. The small beautiful details like the barista snoopy, creative flower arrangements, and vibey ceiling light makes this place look like my Pinterest cream cafe. We came during soft opening so the menu was only printed at the cashier, with 3 drinks offered as of currently: mocha, pandan muoi, and ca phe sua da. They also offer some goodies from a local bakery called Milk Belly Bakery. * Pandan muoi- Creamy, strong coffee with a not-too-sweet finish. The pandan essence is strong but not overwhelmingly so. The saltiness compliments the pandan flavor so well. This drink was enjoyable and truly unique. * Calamansi butter mochi- This was so unique as you rarely can find calamansi flavored baked goods anywhere. The calamansi taste was strong, very fruity and the mochi texture was sticky and chewy. What a unique and tasty treat to enjoy alongside your coffee. Kasama Ca Phe offers some solid drink options even for their soft opening so I'm excited to see the potential this place has to offer in the future. I really enjoy how creative their selection is and it really stands out compared to other Vietnamese coffeeshops that always offer just the standard coconut, ube and salt coffees. I would love to come back and try more coffee. read more

Nice new coffee shop! It's in a good location just across the street from Whole Foods next to SAP center. The vibes are vibing inside, it gives a moody and calm atmosphere. Plenty of seating inside with normal sized tables and the typical plastic stools you see in a lot of Vietnamese households. I got the pandan salt latte and it was perfect. The coffee was strong and the cream was not too sweet. The menu is very simple but I wish they had more specialty options. Definitely try their pate choux pastry! It's a typical Vietnamese snack but their version is nice and flakey and filled with meat mixture. I found it really yummy and paired perfectly with the coffee. Definitely will be back. read more

Tucked away in an unassuming strip, Kasama Ca Phe serves Vietnamese coffee drinks in a familiar and welcoming setting. I came here on a Tuesday morning around 9 AM to get my coffee fix, and a line was already forming! Kasama is located across the street from downtown Whole Foods, right next to CycleBar. In terms of parking, there is street parking available, but they also have a lot dedicated to the businesses in the plaza. This space feels very work-from-home friendly, with around 4-5 tables for studying or working, one giant communal table in the middle, and Vietnamese-style seating on the right side, featuring tables paired with red stools similar to the ones you would see on the streets of Vietnam. By the way, I'm not sure if they have Wi-Fi, so if someone knows, please let me know! At the moment, it looks like they only offer three signature drinks in addition to your typical café selections. I do want to note that they are still in their soft-opening phase, so the menu may expand later on. As for food, I only saw pâté chaud being offered (I would describe it as a Vietnamese empanada filled with either pork or chicken, along with wood ear mushrooms and usually jicama). I decided to order the Pandan Muối Latte (salted pandan) for my friend and an iced Americano with an add-on of pandan cane syrup for myself. They currently offer a choice of whole milk or oat milk for their lattes. I tried the pandan latte, and it was nicely balanced between sweet and salty. The pandan flavor was subtle, while the coffee was smooth and not bitter. As for my Americano, it was bold without being abrasive, and I was happy with the addition of the pandan syrup for a touch of sweetness. Overall, this is a cool new spot in DTSJ (not near San Pedro, by the way). Even though there are a lot of places in San Jose where you can get cà phê sữa đá, it's not as common in this area, so this is an awesome addition to the neighborhood. read more

This is a new authentic Filipino-Vietnamese coffee shop in San Jose. They are in soft opening as of June 2026. I'm glad Kasama Cà Phê found their location here. I tried Pandan Muối and their Paté chaud, which is made by a local baker and delivered here. The drink was perfect to me. The coffee flavor could be stronger, but I'm a caffeine fiend and don't have normal tastebuds, so don't listen to me. Pandan and coconut are some of my favorite flavor combinations, so they really do it right here and know the culture of course. I'm Filipino and as Southeast Asians, we don't always get our limelight. It can be quite the opposite (if you know, you know), so it makes me happy to see a business like this open up. I'll be an avid supporter. Kasama Cà Phê Feels like the best new third culture space in town. I cannot wait to see how their menu expands. read more

Kasama is currently in their soft opening! this opened up across from Whole Foods and we were excited to try it. we came on a sunday morning around 10am and there was a short line. but as we left, the line was already out the door. I really enjoyed the Pandan Muối Latte. the cream foam was sooo good!! even though this is a viet+filipino coffee shop, I'd say their coffee isn't as bitter as the typical viet coffee. so if viet coffee is too much for you, this is kinda the perfect balance. it is still strong tho! the workers here are very friendly and offered to help if we had any questions. as for parking, there's only street parking or the Whole Foods parking across the street. I'm excited to see what else they'll be adding to the menu. read more

8/10 - tried the Pandan Ca Phe Muoi and it was delicious! I've had a lot of Pandan Vietnamese coffee, but this drink was probably the best in terms of flavor and balance. You can REALLY taste the Pandan and it doesn't taste artificial at all, super fragrant and strong. The interior was stunning, felt like I walked into a swanky NYC bar. The staff was very nice and I would definitely be back whenever I'm back in San Jose. read more
We've been customers since their pop-up days, so it's exciting to see them finally open their own shop! They offer unique coffee flavors sourced from Vietnam and the Philippines, making it a refreshing change from the usual coffee menu options. My go-to order is the Pandan Muối Latte; love how creamy and flavorful it is without being overly sweet. The Cà Phê Sṹa Ðá is another recommended choice, especially if you enjoy Vietnamese iced coffee. The shop also has tables available if you'd like to sit and enjoy your drink there. They may add some small food or snack options in the future. We'll definitely continue supporting them and are excited to watch them grow. I tried the da vao mocha and my friend got the pandan muoi latte. They have fixed sugar so I was a little bit worried since I usually like getting 30% sugar. I like how their drinks aren't too sweet and how subtle the pandan taste was for the muoi latte. If you like getting around the same sugar level as me you'll definitely enjoy this! The interior of the cafe was also very warm and relaxing which I love. They also have wifi there if you want to go there and study. read more

Went to Kasama Cà Phê on a weekday hoping to avoid the lines, but we still ended up waiting around 20 minutes. Honestly, it was understandable since it looked like there were only about a few workers doing everything. We got the Pandan Muối Latte and the Cà Phê Sữa Đá. The pandan cream on the latte was sooo good and paired really well with the coffee. The Cà Phê Sữa Đá, though, was pretty sour and just wasn't for us. Maybe we're a little biased because we literally just got back from Vietnam and were spoiled with how good the coffee is there, but this one just didn't hit the same. Overall, I'd come back for the Pandan Muối Latte, but I don't think I'd wait in a super long line for it again. read more
I saw this place in tik tok and wanted to try when I was in the area! Came here for the soft opening and line was pretty long already. I got the mocha, pandan latte, and calamansi butter mochi. Mocha was pretty good but I wish the pandan latte had a more prominent pandan taste. The ambiance inside is very clean and modern looking. Workers were also very nice. read more
overall: 4.5/5 service: everyone was friendly but line was a bit slow, this is def a place for you to slow down and take it in rather than a rush to get your coffee spot. iced pandan muoi latte: 4/5, this was really good! love the salted cream, pandan was nice and the latte part was very strong! would recommend pate chaud: 3/5, filling was really good but the nice outside layers were a bit tough and unlike the flaky ones you get in a bakery. I would try it if you haven't ever had it before but would prob skip you know what it is. Interior: 5/5, loved the inside seating & decor. No service here but they do provide free wifi. Good place to work from if you can snag a seat. Line is out the door usually, and would recommend coming only when you have time to spare. I will def be coming back to try their Kalamansi Summer Spritz and any next drinks they have some grand opening. read more

Not even half a month after my review was posted, Kasama has posted details to its menu including WiFi details and the fact that ice and sugar cannot be adjusted. I have been here twice already, and I have to say that it's such a chill spot! Parking is a bit tricky, so plan accordingly (I've only gone during brunch hours on a weekday). The pandan muoi latte is not very sweet, which is how I like it, and also very flavorful. The Davao mocha is also rich in flavor and the coffee is for sure strong. Both drinks came out quickly and the service was friendly. Looking forward to coming here again with more friends! read more
Stopped by on a Monday morning, lucky there was no line. I got the Davao Mocha. It was a perfect balance of sweet chocolate and coffee. Since they are still in their soft opening, they didn't have many food options and had plastic stools to sit on in addition to their more formal setting area. This place popped up on my Instagram feed, apparently my algorithm knows I love iced coffees. Came in today and the ambience was very nice. There was cool art work of photos taken in the Philippines. Customers were hanging out and enjoying their drinks. There was a calm vibe inside and lots of folks checking it out. I ordered the cafe sua da, it'll knock your boots off it's so strong. Workers were friendly and smiling. I'd like to come back to try their Pandan muoi latte. read more
