Ube iced coffee
Aiden A.

Nice little coffee shop with a cool vibe. I was in town visiting family and looking for coffee places to try. The name was catchy and I decided to give it a go. I tried the Ube coffee which is a Vietnamese iced coffee with the ube foam on top. It was delicious. Not overly sweet or overpowering. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. It looks like they serve alcohol drinks as well. The shop is bright and colorful with seating and a counter top to sit at. I don't think I'd work or study here since it's a bit upbeat but it was cool.

I like this place. It's a combination between a bar and boba place with WiFi and tvs. A solid place to meet with friends, catch the game, or get some work done. There is a bathroom and a lot of seating both outside and some on the inside. Noise levels vary depending on when you come and if a game is going on. Workers are nice. They have beer on tap and tea drinks! They do not have many toppings options nor boba for their drinks which I was bummed by, but the drinks we got were still solid and refreshing. I think they could expand their boba teas more, but I understand if they are more focused on their beer.

Matcha

Coffee, tea, and beer here! But came for the matcha. Indoor and outdoor seatings. They have some pastries for small bites. Currently has a valentines drink featuring raspberry matcha. Ordered at the counter and got a layered pink green, and red drink. Creamy top and look like they make the raspberry syrup. Good raspberry flavor with the texture of raspberry seeds. Matcha on the other hand was a bit lacking. Drink is nice if you like a more creamy and raspberry syrup flavor. Would try their matcha horchata next time. Busy parking in this area.

They just released spring new drinks today so I had to talk about pour decision-making on my part for coming here. Normally I don't do fizzy drinks but the new fizz looks so good I had to try it. It wasn't too strong fizz but the raspberry flavor was good and the raspberry foamy thing I think?! Was pretty good too. I have been here a couple times and their special drinks like peanut butter latte are always good.

Hawaiian Latte

Great service! My order was accidentally wrong and they fixed it no problem. I got the Hawaiian latte.

I love a place that understands duality. Caffeine and Craft beer. Let's start with the good: 1. the variety in color of the cream is BEAUTIFUL especially the purple one (ube). I also really liked the decor and ambiance. 2. inside is very modern-industrial. full tap wall lined u It's not cluttered. It's not chaotic. It's very Bay Area casual. Here's were I struggled a bit.. There was hella egg cream. Like... aggressively generous. And while I love richness, the ratio felt off. The coffee was bold and tasty and wish that spoke more than the egg cream. If you're someone who loves a dessert-forward drink, you'll probably be obsessed. If you're here for caffeine that slaps you awake? You might feel slightly betrayed. Flavor: 7.5/10 (would be higher with better cream balance) Service was quick and smooth, no issues there. Would I come back? Yes. But next time I'd probably ask for lighter egg cream or just traditional coffee to balance it out.

Walking in, there is a great ambiance to it. The menus are lit up and easy to read. It's kind of a smaller place so not too much sitting. It's a coffee shop and a craft beer place. My gf and I went for the coffee. I got an iced Hawaiian latte with oatmilk (still wish they had soy but they don't). It has a strong note of coconut so if you are not a fan of coconut, I wouldn't suggest the Hawaiian latte. I like coconut so I enjoyed it. The one thing that would make this place better is if they had different sizes, as they only had one size and I wish I had a large. The service is good. They were smiling and looked like they enjoyed their jobs. They thanked us and told us to enjoy. It's those little things that make their customer service stand out. I'll come back next time to try out their other lattes.

Peanut butter iced latte

Stopped by and tried the peanut butter iced latte and was super duper good! Probably my fav place does this flavor latte around! The staff are super fast and friendly and gave me this rec that i will be getting again! Indoor and outdoor seating is super cute!

Pour Decisions was such a fun addition to our wedding, and Vince was amazing to work with from the very first email. Even though they had never catered a wedding before, Vince was so excited and accommodating throughout the entire process and made everything feel easy and stress-free. We even provided custom cups for the wedding, and they were more than happy to use them, which added such a special personalized touch. The drinks were AMAZING, especially the peanut butter coffee, which was such a huge hit with our guests. We still constantly stop by Pour Decisions for a cup because it's just that good. Vince and his team were so kind, easygoing, and wonderful to work with. We're so grateful they were part of our wedding day and truly cannot recommend them enough.

Ordered some drinks to bring home so I can't say much about the ambiance. This location is pretty far south in San Jose The drinks were packed neatly in a carrier then bagged. I ordered the Ube, Pandan, Matcha Strawberry, Peanut Butter, and a viet coffee lattes. All of the drinks were pretty good. The Ube was a little too thick but flavor was good. The Peanut butter has to be a popular drink. The peanut butter flavor comes through really well. The coffee was pretty good. I liked the pandan latte but wish it had a stronger flavor. Overall, I will be trying other Pour Decisions locations.

I've visited this location many times since it's been open. My favorite has got to be the Peanut Butter Latte, the peanut taste isn't overpowering which is what makes it perfect in my opinion. I've tried the other options and they just don't quite compare to it. They also offer a rotation of bites and pastries which is great for those who get easily bored of the same menu. I love the vibe although the indoor space is quite small. Coffee in the morning, Happy hour brews by evening. The beers they have on tap rotate and the options are stellar, I've gotten a flight as well. They sell packs and single cans from local breweries as well for the fanatics. It's great to see that they occasionally host events with vendors and food trucks which is nice for the community.

Tiered game seating!

The creams here are next level !! Coffee strong , sweet and iced! Tried the ube and salted cream. Will definitely be back for the seasonal favorites like peanut butter cream and spiced apple ! Service fast , ambience casual like a sports bar rather than a coffee joint !

banana matcha

I've been meaning to try this spot for months now! It has a nice outdoor patio and some seating inside. I got the banana matcha and I gotta say the cream top was definitely the star of the show. The banana cream was thick and whipped. It tastes so good and you can tell it's made with real bananas. At first sip, I noticed the matcha itself is not sweetened. In my opinion, it reaches full greatness when it's all mixed together! Notes: - Restroom is available for customers, no code needed

So, I live for coffee. I roast it, buy it, sell it, cup it, pack it, ship it, mix it, blend it…read more.. you name it. So when I travel, I'm usually hauling around an arsenal of brewing gear like some caffeinated survivalist. And yeah... I'm picky AF. I like what I like. So if you're gonna serve me coffee, it better show up dressed in a suit and tie. In this case, it absolutely did. I had to give the local spot near Grandma's house a shot. I walked in with crossed fingers and low expectations, but walked out with a satisfied palate, a smile, and an eagerness to visit again soon. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill coffee shop. They roast onsite. Real deal, Holyfield. I started with an espresso. Then a cortado. Then grabbed a bag of Yirgacheffe to go because I gotta see what else they got going on. . These guys clearly know what they're doing; and if they don't, they accidentally perfected it anyway. The espresso was balanced, clean, and intentional. Nothing hidden behind over-roasting or gimmicks. Just refined quality coffee handled correctly. I'm genuinely glad spots like this exist, and even happier one sits right here near my fam. Seriously, can't wait to visit again.

The drinks were still top-notch--we really enjoyed them, and the Mediterranean bagel was also fresh and delicious. Quality-wise, they absolutely deliver. That said, the customer service unfortunately didn't match the level of the coffee. The cashier interaction felt curt and low-energy, and overall not very welcoming. When my husband asked about their most popular specialty drink, she mentioned the "Milky Way" and compared it to a Starbucks macchiato--which felt like an odd comparison for a specialty coffee shop that otherwise seems to take pride in its craft. More than anything, the interaction came across as disengaged and a bit uninterested, which stood out because places like this usually shine in both product and service. We'll likely still come back for the coffee and food, but I do think the service experience matters a lot--and this visit didn't quite meet expectations on that front.

The donuts were made to order, and I still remember the two young employees who worked there. They'd happily let you know it might take a few minutes because they wanted you to experience the product the way it was meant to taste. That kind of pride in what you're serving is rare, and it made a real impression. There's something different about that kind of enthusiasm coming from employees versus an owner. An owner has an obvious stake in selling you on something, but when the people making your food are genuinely excited for you to try it, that energy is contagious. You can't help but feed off of it. Fast forward to this year. My daughter loves coming here since we frequently visit the amazing Chinese restaurant next door (China Delight-highly recommend), so I've brought her a few times. Unfortunately, it's been a different experience. The donuts are always pre-made, and the focus seems to be more on cleaning and closing down than on having a fresh product ready for customers. To be fair, the staff is always friendly and I do appreciate a clean shop , but when I'm choosing between a spotless floor and a donut worth eating, I'd rather have the latter. I'll note that I usually come a bit after dinnertime, so maybe timing plays a role. But after a few visits with the same result, it feels more like a shift in priorities than bad luck. I genuinely hope this place finds its way back to what made it great. The bones are there. The location is great, the staff is kind, and clearly there's a customer base that wants to love this place. Bring back the fresh donuts and you'll earn those stars back!!

In addition to mochi donuts they sell hot dogs, coffee, and fruity tea. I was in the neighborhood so I stopped in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. They are pre-made and stored in a glass case, unlike other places like Modo Hawaii that make them when you order. The donuts come in a nice box. They are large and dense and chewy, but weren't to my taste as I like them smaller and lighter, but that's just a personal preference. I'm not sure if I will go back, but I hope they do well at the Cottle location.
