So good! I'm a coffee person so I went to the Tuesday Kaiser Farmers market in San Jose and was able to get their iced coffee cloud with custard cream and it was so delicious! They also do matcha drinks - not sure if they had the full menu available at this specific farmers market but their IG is usually up to date for where you can find them. Delicious coffee and worth trying out! read more

I've been wanting to try Caffeine Depot and caught them at a pop up at the Kindred Studios in the mission. Surprisingly the space was pretty empty and we got a signature banana tiramisu latte and the custard cloud latte to try Loved both drinks, especially the banana tiramisu which was rich and creamy with the banana cream top without feeling too sweet or heavy. The viet coffee they use is pretty strong and does well to cut through the creaminess of the milk and cream top. The custard cloud was on the sweeter side but I really enjoyed the eggy top which had a lot of flavor as well. Such a great coffee pop up and I'll have to try the matcha next time! They also sell the cutest matcha bowls! read more

This is a home-based matcha (and Viet coffee) "shop", and they also do a lot of pop up events in the community. I message them on Instagram to submit my order and they respond quickly to coordinate payment and time for pickup. I absolutely LOVE their blueberry matcha latte. The matcha they use is high quality ceremonial grade with a great flavor. Their blueberry syrup is homemade. I also like that they include seasonal flavor options, such as their guava matcha they had last Summer which was out of this world amazing. The owners are sweet and always have my order ready on time, made perfectly each time. Definitely worth a try! I will have to try their coffee soon :) read more

Came here on a Sunday as they were at a Vintage Popup event! Line was pretty long as they're super popular :) Walked around and our drinks were made in about 15-20 minutes. The Matcha Einspanner was my personal favorite 8.5/10and the cream is so delicious! One of the best einspanner creams I've had. The Strawberry was a little artificial tasting and overpowered the whole drink 7/10. Only bad thing was you need to drink it all pretty quick after you get it. After the ice melted it tasted odd and just watered down. I still would get the matcha einspanner again! read more

Horrible picture but best tasting matcha! Ordering is easy through Instagram for home pickup. Response time was really quick and the owner was so sweet. I got the matcha einspanner and this home cafe is now my favorite matcha. Look at how green the matcha is! The sweetness of the cream with the strong taste of matcha really balances each other out. I'm obsessed with finding new coffee places to try and I found this one on social media. Though they're known for their matcha, I opted to try their Iced Custard Cloud Latte. I've never warmed up to Vietnamese coffee just because of how strong it usually is, but this drink tastes so good that I don't even get the strong taste of the Vietnamese coffee. The custard cream is so delicious and provides such a beautiful taste alongside the coffee. With how delicious it is, I always get two when I go because one will be gone by the time I arrive home. This is your sign to take a chance on a home-based coffee joint! They do pop-ups often in the Bay, so definitely keep your eye out and drop by when they're out and about! read more

My wife works at Kaiser and every now and then she'll bring me home the einspanner iced coffee! It's probably the best non-chain coffee I've ever had! The sweetness level is perfect. And the caffeine/coffee level isn't overpowering. From taste, texture, and even look, this is how iced coffee should be made! read more

I've been frequenting Caffeine Depot since the beginning of this year and it's one of my go to matcha places in San Jose. Currently, my favorite drink has been the matcha einspanner and my boyfriend loves the blueberry matcha cloud! I love how there's a lot of variety with the different types of flavors of matchas and coffees that they have because I love trying new things. They also have a lot of pop ups collabing with different businesses that is nice to check out as they have new limited time flavors! read more

Worth the hype! I got the double matcha and I devoured it in minutes (which is impressive because I tend to take my time with my drinks). The quality is great, one of the better matchas I've had in the South Bay. My friend also got the guava matcha, and the guava flavor was not artificial at all, it had a great balance of guava and matcha with perfect sweetness. Her drink unfortunately wasn't topped off compared to mine though. Their cream tops are very thick, which I enjoy. Can't wait to try their other drinks soon! read more

hands down favorite matcha place ever. me/bf come here all the time!! their drinks are handcrafted so well and made with excellent quality matcha. 10/10 every time! the einspanners are sooo creamy (esp with oat milk)! my fave is strawberry matcha cloud (it's on the sweeter side, but i lovee a sweet fruity matcha)! the matcha einspanner is less sweet than the strawb (if that's what you prefer) and has a strong matcha taste :D the viet coffees are sooo strong :O !! my favorites are the custard cloud (so good and creamy) and coconut cloud when it comes to coffee!! great prices, great portion, and even better taste :-) i'm from sacramento, and soo many of my friends have come to san jose to specifically try caffeine depot!! the owners are so nice, too. definitely worth the drive every time :D live laugh love caffeine depot! read more

We hired Caffeine Depot for a company event and they were THE BEST! We had about 40 people at the event, who all loved the drinks that they had. They are so professional and efficient, but most importantly, the drinks are incredible -- and so are the vibes. Highly recommend their einspanner drinks; bonus points for the fluffy cloud cream. Definitely recommend following them on Instagram to find their upcoming pop-up locations because you will not be disappointed. Hoping for a store location soon! read more

I really loved their cream latte. They use this mascarpone cream that made my coffee taste like tiramisu. Not those other commercial lattes that use ca cream and syrup. It was legit the same cream from tiramisu read more

I ordered a pistachio matcha during the pop-up. The presentation was nice and the taste wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out compared to other matcha spots I've tried. The cup was mostly filled with ice, and the drink was gone after just a few sips. For $8, it didn't feel worth the price. read more

locally owned, home based/pop up coffee! not sure if it's family operated. staff are busy working together and mixing up quality drinks ~ offering a variety of matcha and coffee beverages on their menu. seasonal flavors are also available but i don't think i noticed any on the menu today. we stopped by around 12 PM and made it just 50 mins before closing, luckily there wasn't a long line (roughly 5 ppl ahead). I ordered the Einspänner, which was scrumptious! i asked for 50% sweet, light ice and it's a bit sweet, but still to my liking. I enjoyed my iced coffee so i'll definitely be coming back to try their Matcha next time :) read more
