Such a cute place with tasty drinks! We were greeted when we came in and were told if it was our first time, we could just let the kind man know what kind of coffee we like and he would recommend something for us. We got the caramel macchiato and the black sugar caffe latte which were delicious and beautiful! They offer kiosk ordering as well so if you'd prefer to be in and out, that's an option. We live nearby and are so happy we found this place - we will be back to try the boba and other beverages!

The space was very quiet when we visited. There were a couple of people who had picked up their online orders. Owner was thorough when we had questions. At first, I didn't order a drink, but my husband and daughter did. Once I took a sip of the mango thai coconut latte, the husband had to go back k in to get "his" own drink! Tasty!! Tip: if you want to sweeten your unsweetened drink, add it to the description.

Just ordered the smoothest cappuccino that I have had in a great while. The milk was steamed to to a silky smoothness with creamy foam and good latte art. The only thing I wish about this place is that the pastry selection could be little better. Service is not fast as it seems to primarily be owner-operated, but the quality is worth the wait. Ambiance is clean, simple, and intimate

The coffee was pretty good. We just picked up quickly and didn't sit in the cafe. We ordered and I got to try both the velvet and coconut latte. I probably would come back if I'm in the area for a haircut, but not likely somewhere I would go out of my way to visit if not for that.

Came here with the bf after brunch on a weekend. The previous time I came, it was too early for the boba to be ready, so I didn't get anything. Thankfully, the boba was ready this time! The shop is located in a small shopping center, next to a thai restaurant that I frequently go to, so I've seen this shop many, many times. It's small and while there is enough room for people to hang out after grabbing their drinks, there's not as much space as some other shops to spread out and have conversations. It's mainly enough space for people to wait for their drinks, grab it and go. We ordered at the kiosk, asked the barista a question about the drink I wanted and then made our purchase. Our drinks came out - I got the black sugar boba milk latte while my bf got the velvet oat espresso - we sat for a bit and tried our drinks before heading back home. Bf said the coffee was good, but on the pricey side for what it was. I enjoyed my milk latte, but the boba was not worth it - it didn't have the chewy consistency I like and was on the softer side and it was pretty flavorless. I've also tried the mango thai coconut latte in the past as I like both mangoes and coconuts - it was also just okay and I wasn't really impressed. Overall, cute shop with a few coffee/teas and pastries. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't awesome - I'll probably not visit again unless someone really wants to try it.

Friendly staff member accommodating with my drink order. I got their energy Boba because I was looking for a mix of coffee. I requested whole milk versus oat milk. They honored that request. They also warned me not to shake the cup because it's a plastic top pop on style which I appreciate. Wasn't bad I would try them again but not enough ice and I might try a different drink because the coffee was a little bit on the back end Boba nice chewy light.

The iced velvet oat espresso was alright. It was warm inside the establishment even with the fans blowing. Customer service was okay. Plenty of parking. Kiosk available.

A very warm and cozy spot! This small coffee shop serves an amazing smooth latte! I ordered the vanilla latte with oat milk! Super good I was greeted with excellent customer service! I went early AM so no line was formed! He even made some art in my latte which I really liked! Nice touch! Inside was clean! Chill vibes! It's definitely worth a visit or 2 or more!

The store is small, but there are a few seats while you wait for your drink. Ordering is easy, you can place your order at the kiosk and it's easy and quick. The iced vanilla latte is phenomenal. I really enjoyed it, not overly sweet and you can taste the espresso. However, it's a 12oz for almost $7, a bit steep in my opinion, but it is good coffee so I would come once in a while. I would skip the pastries. I was under the impression they were locally made but no, they're likely purchased somewhere in bulk. They're the kind of pastries you can purchase in bulk, individually wrapped.

We stopped in here to try their milk tea in the morning. To our disappointment, boba milk tea is not ready until 10 am. This place does offer pastries, coffee, and lattes. I tried their black sugar latte. This latte was pretty good. I can taste the black sugar, milk, and the coffee. It was a perfect balance. Thanks.

Black sesame latte is my go-to beverage here!!! It's rich and delicious, hot or iced. Give it a try soon.

There were a few other tables of people with their laptops out, and I was excited to see that they have expanded since my last visit and added more seating for customers. The lotus milk tea is still one of my favorites in the whole city. We sat at a table so there was no outlet, but I can't remember if there were outlets along the walls for the booth seating. The WiFi worked well and if there was background music it was not being blasted loudly. I would definitely keep this spot top of mind if I needed a reliable spot to work remote again, especially since there is now more seating than there used to be. Looking forward to coming by again soon!

Parking is close, but you will need to pay after 90 minutes (which can get pricey if you plant there). I want to call out that the decor of Playbook has not changed much from that of Voyager's resident there. The only big difference is the vinyl that you get your drinks out of (which is a small change). When you get to Playback, there is a kiosk located near the front entry to order drinks. While this is convenient and typical for drink places, I do think it removes the homey feel to cafes that you get when you can interact with their baristas, and the layer of community is a bit disconnected. While I was there, I ordered the Teddy Graham latte to try out since it seemed like one of their staple drinks when I did my research. The drink itself was good, toasted, with a nice subtle graham flavor. I would say though for $9 per drink, it was overpriced.
