Come here for good coffee, friendly service, and clean seating area. Found this place on Yelp while searching for coffee shops I haven't yet tried. I came on a late Saturday morning. The pastries were almost sold out, but they had one more Everything Croissant, so I ordered it. That was pretty good. For coffee, I had the Cubano and the Salted Maple Bourbon latte. They were both good, but I thought they were both very heavy on the milk. It was hard to taste the coffee. I'll probably come back and try just plain coffee. It's a really pleasant place to hang out at, so I don't mind giving them another try.

The only downsides are that the parking lot at the little shopping area has very few spots (and a very steep ramp that'll cause your car to bottom out), and the shopping area is kind of rundown. Their shop is pretty nice, given the surroundings, though. Definitely give one of their fancy latte flavors a try. They are pretty good.

There is minimal seating inside and outside. A menu is posted outside, but you'll find another copy inside along with free water. For those dining in, there is a small cart to leave your used glasses and plates/trays. There was a large group ahead of me, but the actual time it took for my drink to be made was fairly short :D DRINK: *Matcha latte (hot) -- I am most definitely coming back to order this because the quality and price are by far the best I've ever had! With the matcha craze these days, I appreciate a cozy shop like this that won't make you break your break for a sweet treat or energy boost. You can choose between whole milk and oat milk (I went w/ whole). Despite not being asked about sweetness adjustments, it was perfectly "not too sweet" while maintaining a satisfyingly potent matcha flavor. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but it tastes more like matcha offered in European cafe's rather than Japanese matcha dessert places. Either way, it was delicious and my cousin kept wanting to take some sips of this latte after we left XD The latte art and creamy foam on the surface was such a lovely surprise too! Comparable to La Lune Sucree's which is also in downtown SJ, but this is now my new local favorite. PARKING: Customers can find residential parking and walk or meter parking. My drink was made pretty quickly, so this is a great spot for grab and go!
I got an espresso and a cortado. The espresso didn't look as dark as I was expecting and didn't have crema but it wasn't bitter or burnt. The cortado was well balanced. Based on the other photos I might give it another try if I'm in the area.
I've been coming here for months and let me just say, they are the real deal! Honestly one of the best coffees in the Bay Area that not only focus on quality but bringing out the flavor notes in each coffee / espresso. Super friendly staff and they always go beyond to help or answer questions. This place is a gem!
What an awesome experience! All around! The vibes are super chill here! Who would've known drinking a cup of coffee with a delicious pastry would be this exciting! The owners were super friendly! It looks like there's some regular customers when I was there! That's really cool that they take time to know there customers! I ordered the toasted marshmallow latte. I got it hot. This was so good! And the ube croissant is a must! I can't wait to go back. I just moved to the neighborhood so I'll definitely be back to visit to try more from there menu!

AM Craft As a girly pop who doesn't really drink coffee, this one made me jittery! This shop is across the street from San Jose State! So convenient to grab this coffee before class or in my case before work! The service was excellent, workers are so fast and so kind. I got the coffee flight with the La Cabra espresso shot and the pistachio pastry. Service was good. Plenty of seating inside and out. Coffee was pretty strong , a bit too bitter for my taste personally. Suitable for the real hardcore coffee lovers. My favorite was the pistachio pastry I believe it had some soft raspberry filling with chunks of pistachios. So so good! I will be coming back but next time I'll try the matcha. read more

The only downsides are that the parking lot at the little shopping area has very few spots (and a very steep ramp that'll cause your car to bottom out), and the shopping area is kind of rundown. This café is conveniently close to SJSU, but parking can be quite challenging! It features a minimalistic white and wood theme, creating a charming aesthetic. The atmosphere was vibrant, with many patrons enjoying the outdoor seating with their dogs, though the indoor space is quite small. I mainly wanted a pastry snack and remembered really liking the Everything Croissant here. Service was quite slow as the cashier was running around delivering pastries. I decided to try the Chocolate Hazelnut Croissant and it was unfortunately a miss for me. It wasn't heated up, so it tasted stale, and the interior was dense rather than airy and flaky like a classic croissant. I would say it tasted more like a chocolate bread. The flavoring itself wasn't any good either and the macadamias nuts is again, very stale & old. I didn't order coffee because I had tried the Toasted Marshmallow flavor before and found it disappointingly diluted. read more

A cute coffee shop right off the campus of SJ State. Street parking is almost impossible on a busy day, but they do share a small parking lot behind the laundromat. The shop has three tables set up inside + a bar area with 4 seats. Right outside the store, there are additional seats which I'm sure would feel fantastic on a warm day. In the early morning, there were waves of people who come and go. There seems to be enough seating, but if you're looking for ones with outlets, there are only two in the store. Their coffee menu looks interesting. I generally am a black coffee drinker, but found a lot of their customers ordering the lavender latte. Will have to make a trip back to give it a try. Their baked goods selection has a variety of both sweet and savory. It can be warmed up (recommend for certain pastries). read more

This coffee shop is right across SJSU campus. There is metered parking right by the shop and in the surrounding neighborhood. The shop itself is very small but they have outdoor seating. I went on a nice sunny day and sitting outside felt so relaxing. Baristas were pleasant and patient. I tried the Toasted Marshmallow latte. It was not what I'd thought it'd taste like but nonetheless but it was enjoyable. I looked on their website and found out that some of their pastries are delivered from Neighbor House in SF. I tried the ham and cheese croissant and it was savory & had the perfect amount of flakiness! I'll have to come back and try the rest of the items. Such a lovely coffee shop tucked away in SJ. I say tucked away but it's across the street from SJSU campus so there's going to be very limited parking. Menu is not too busy and have some great seasonal options, I can tell this is a spot for regulars as the baristas were very friendly and greeted some by their first names. The pastry was different and nice, we loved it I love the idea of the service /coater bamboo plates. The service is very nice and easy and the people working here are very dedicated about what they do however , the coffee was just did't do it for us, the cup of coffee are cute but no strength at all the place is very quiet and easy access . A cute little cafe spot right by campus, SJSU. Parking will most likely be street parking! The coffee selection was good. I got the toasted marshmallow over ice, which was good. Nothing too crazy! Definitely a great spot to chat or study with some friends. There is some bar seating inside with a few tables both outdoors and indoors. Not too sure about outlets for charging. I've been wanting to visit this cafe for a while, and I finally had the chance last weekend. It's conveniently situated near SJSU with ample street parking. The atmosphere inside is cozy, and they offer a diverse selection of beverages and pastries. As someone who's particular about coffee, I always go for a latte when trying out a new cafe, and theirs was delicious--I even purchased a bag of their coffee beans. This is the nicest quaint coffee shop near the SJSU campus ! So, I actually had been going to this other coffee shop in Campbell a lot before that I enjoyed going to before work when I worked in Santa Clara. I then started working downtown, and then heard that one of the baristas there was opening a coffee shop close to the SJSU campus - so I was so excited ! I will sometimes come here before work to read and have some milk tea or latte before work, or I will come during my lunch break. They have nice lattes but my favorite is their milk tea ! I really like getting their green milk tea. They also have some tasty pastries like this one pastrythat is savory with a chive/cream cheese filling, and another pastry with curry potatoes in it. It's a small space so I wish it had more indoor seating, but that does contribute to the cozy vibe of it. Definitely recommend ! read more
