More of a 3.5 star rating I got a banana cream matcha -- the matcha isn't strong and there's a good amount of ice, which makes it hard to slurp the toppings (biscoff cookies and dried banana slices). The matcha also started settling to the bottom a few minutes after we got the drink. It tasted more like milk than matcha. I also found ordering to be a little confusing -- rather than a standalone item on the menu for the banana cream matcha, you have to order a matcha and then add the banana cream on top. Multiple items require some sort of combination like this. I also found that the lid to be interesting, it turns in a lot so it's difficult to drink. I find myself to be getting a lot of cream when I try to get some matcha as well. However, they do offer a cute little photo booth where you can print out black and white stickers of yourself! So I did enjoy that. They do have some nice seats in the back, but couldn't see any convenient outlets in the seating area. read more

Cute little neighborhood coffee/matcha spot. I really liked their matcha and cereal milk latte. I wish the cereal milk had slightly less cereal because it soaked up too much of the milk too quickly so you don't get that much of the actual drink. The service was fast and we got our 5 drinks pretty quickly. There's also a little photo machine thing that is great to play with while waiting! New coffee shop in the area. They have one kiosk where you can order from. I ended up trying the London fog, which was pretty good. My wife tried the pistachio Matcha which she said it was ok. I ordered both different breads, regular and macha. Both are pretty tasty. Everything is a little more expensive than most places. There's no place to sit unless you go into the back. They have a little picture taking machine but everything else looks like it's working in progress. I believe the place does have potential, will come back later and see what changes they have made. read more

Honestly i really wanted to like this place , maybe it's just not for me . If you're not local just know this location is by a high/ middle school. I ran into a lot of traffic getting here from the school , This location is tucked away in a church parking lot . I found this recommended on tik tok. I got the banana matcha which in total was 9.34$ . Very steep in my opinion. The matcha flavor wasn't very strong to start with and the banana flavor was definitely not natural. I could best describe it as the laffy taffy very artificial flavor. It overpowered the entire drink . I could maybe have 3 sips before the sweetness became too much . This place was Block Coffee but it was just renamed to No Coffee! The drinks are still the same and my friends and I come here a couple times a month! Every drink we've gotten has been delicious and there is a seating area in the back! I love the block latte which has a giant coffee ice cube so no watery coffee. Once known as Block Coffee, no coffee seems to be appropriate naming for this shop, since I dont think I've seen someone come to this establishment and not order a matcha. The matchas here are really high quality! Some of the best, and I'll come back here time and time again since its so close to me. Maybe one of the highest quality matchas in the Almaden area. Strawberry matcha is my favorite but I also like the matcha with coconut water. Not from the San Jose area so I was looking for a quick matcha spot to enjoy with some friends and found this cafe. The inside is super aesthetically pleasing and clean. My friends and I all ordered the Strawberry Matcha Cream using their self-service kiosk and I loved how they labeled the lids so we can differentiate which drink had which milk. My drink had a good strawberry taste with a hint of matcha from the cream. I would definitely want to try a Matcha based drink next time to get a stronger matcha taste! read more

the cafe itself is pretty cute and simple! i came here a few months ago when it was still known as BLOCK Coffee, and the matcha was so good. unfortunately, this time around i was pretty disappointed. i could barely taste the matcha in my drink, it mostly tasted like banana milk, with a pretty subtle banana flavor. my friend got the ube coffee, which was pretty, but tasted more like a regular iced latte with very little ube flavor. overall, i feel like the quality of the matchas has gone down a bit. i'd still come back and give it another try since my first experience was really pleasant. the staff and service were great as well! read more

A rebranded cafe that is tucked away in a sleepy plaza near Almaden plaza. Got the coffee and matcha drink with added cream. Both drinks were refreshing and tasty. Needed a Monday pick me up, so I stopped by this coffee shop! They have a wall with pictures of menu items, but they also have a text-only menu behind the counter. I ordered two Block Coffees- it felt like a good first order. The taste was good; strong coffee with frozen espresso ice cubes. The cup and lid were sort of off though. There is some writing on the counter window that the best way to enjoy their drinks is by sipping through the lid. Maybe this was just for their cream lattes and I'm just overthinking it?! The lid had a big opening that is usually for slushy drinks (so you can use a straw or spoon). I sipped out of it and it was good, but the plastic cup itself is very flimsy. So I didn't feel super comfortable holding onto it/bending it and tipping back the drink to sip on it. Driving it home was stressful because of the giant openings that threatened to spill liquid if I hit a speed bump (I drove home very slowly haha). The shop says it has free WiFi but I didn't see any place to sit down, so it's not a place to come and chill. Overall, it was okay. I'd say it was a 3.5 star place, but they seem to be newly opened so I rounded up. I have faith in you, no coffee!! I originally tried this place when they were Block Coffee, so I wanted to try them again after they added more drinks on the menu! They increased the size of their drinks and added so many great options. My favorite was the earl grey matcha latte! I also really liked the yuzu ade, it's super refreshing and sparkling. The interior is similar to when they were block coffee, and they still have the free Photo Booth inside! There is some seating in the back but some of the tables were slanted, so hopefully they fix that soon! Overall, I love this place and I'm so glad it's in my neighborhood! Def come back! read more

Good matcha, but I'd stay away from the coffee drinks. I've had their matcha lattes a few times, and the quality has been consistently good. The matcha flavor is strong without being overly bitter.As for the coffee, I tried the signature Block Latte with espresso ice cubes, and it was pretty bad, to put it bluntly. The latte itself tasted watered down and had a bitter aftertaste with no hint of butterscotch flavor at all. The espresso ice cubes made it worse--they had this strange, almost metallic taste that reminded me of the inside of a freezer. Salt bread was quite good. I asked for no sugar in my drink and asked if it was ceremonial grade matcha. They actually use ceremonial grade mixed with a sweetened matcha powder, which was explained after receiving my order. Kind of misleading.. If you are going to pay about 9 dollars for a drink, then it would be nice to know what is in my drink. This is coming from someone who gets minimal to zero sugar in his drink, which is why I emphasized no sugar.
