Customer service is casual and good. Seats are comfortable. There's plenty of outdoor tables/seats available too. Public restroom inside. Cozy place to relax or catch up in small groups. Plenty of parking in the large public retail parking lots. I had a small iced Vietamericano plain coffee, no sugar, no cream, no additives. It turned out pretty good. Went during the soft opening and thought it was just okay, so I never came back. Decided to give it another try and I'm so glad I did! The online ordering and pickup were super easy. The Breakfast Bagel with the cilantro jalapeño sauce was so good the bagel, fluffy egg, thick bacon, had tons of flavor. The Vietnamese Americano with no sugar the house coffee jelly and egg pudding was perfect. Tasty coffee, and the egg pudding added just a touch of sweetness with every other sip. I think if it was shaken a little more beforehand, the flavors would have blended even better. Dropped by on a random Saturday afternoon. Parking is plentiful and it was kind of interesting how all of the windows are heavily tinted. I felt like I walked into a daytime speakeasy type of cafe which kinda threw me but it was fun! The exterior definitely doesn't reflect the interior. You order on one of two kiosks and then wait for your name to be called. Service is pretty fast! There's some seating but i wouldn't try to work or study out of here, it feels more like a grab and go place. We were super lucky to see a pop-up as well! Anyways regarding the drinks I actually think they tasted quite good, I got a "Wendy" and it didn't feel overly sweet or powdery which was really impressive. Our drinks came out well before our bagel, and the bagel took so long that we ended up asking about it twice before it finally placed on the counter. Thankfully, both the drinks and the bagel were pretty good once we got them. Seating inside is somewhat limited since the space is small, but there is outdoor seating available, which helps. Really great new spot for all kinds of Asian coffee drinks! It's in a quiet area with plenty of parking. Very comfy but limited seating inside and free wifi, so could be a great place to work. Self service kiosks for convenient ordering, though there's only 2 of them. Where they really shine is their drinks, I've only tried their Banana Viet Coffee but it was really dang good, with lots of fresh banana flavor and could still taste the Vietnamese coffee. And their menu is huge! I'd suggest looking online ahead of time, otherwise you'll be scrolling their tablets for a long time. Lots of limited time and seasonal drinks too. It's really pretty nuts. Easily accessible as it is a few stop lights from the 101 exit. Lots of parking. You walk in and the music is upbeat and was met with two even more upbeat ladies at the counter. As I walked up to the self-serve kiosk one of the ladies kindly informed me that she was available to answer any questions. So, I took her up on her offer. Told her I came in specifically to try something off their Biscoff menu. Asked her if she preferred the coffee over the matcha. After answering a few questions, I decided on the Biscoff Matcha Latte, less sweet and with oat milk. I like that you can tailor the sweetness and your milk preference that is always a plus for me! My drink was everything it needed to be. Pleasing to the eyes and even more pleasing to the palate. Super refreshing, creamy with that signature Biscoff flavor bringing up the rear. We got the Vietamericano and Phin drip latte, both of which were really good. For food we got two breakfast bagel. Requested one without bacon. Service was a bit slow even though it was just us and another table. After about 10 mins I had to go nudge them for the bagels. When I finally received them, I saw both of them had bacon in it. I've been wanting to try this place ever since I saw it on social media and I finally got the chance yesterday for a pop-up bag charm event! It is far south of SJ so I have to go kind of far but I am addicted now!! It's very worth the drive. I came back today and it's nice that they open pretty late even on Sundays. The cilantro jalapeno aioli is delicious! It makes all of their snacks 10x better. I usually see that sauce a lot in socal but not normally here. I love how there's a variety of snacks as well as a few sandwiches/bagels, and a lot of dessert options. The egg sando is very yummy and a good portion. We were able to order quickly on a kiosk but it would've been nice if they had physical menus so you're not scrolling through the kiosk when there is a line. Insomnibar has become one of our favorite new spots in south SJ! They have such a great variety of drinks & snacks and are open till midnight which is awesome because so many coffee / tea places close early. The cafe itself has a decent amount of seating & is located in a plaza area with some other businesses so there's plenty of parking. Even though they've had a consistent flow of orders every time we've gone our drinks have been made pretty quick & they always taste amazing. We saw this place with rave reviews and wanted to try it out. Overpriced and overhyped. We got the li hing mui, banana matcha, sweet potato waffle fries, and honey garlic bagel. The li hing mui was sadly unremarkable. It was ginger ale, konjac jelly, ice, and maybe a touch of li hing. It really didn't taste much like sour plum. Just ginger ale for around $8? No thank you. On the other hand, their boba is quite a good texture but not enough to come back for. The banana matcha looked pretty but only tasted like banana milk. No creaminess or matcha. The sweet potato waffle fries were the same you can get anywhere. Very crispy. The garlic cream cheese bagel is trying to be the Korean garlic cream cheese bread but it falls completely flat. Just a greasy bagel with a hint of extra flavor and some whipped cream cheese. Not worth the extra wait or price. The place was also very busy for a 3pm on a Monday. Not much seating because the few tables were each claimed by a single person with a laptop. It's also quite loud so headphones is a must for people who want to study. Overall, unimpressive. I love their banana matcha so much! It's my to-go order. It is so so amazing probably the best banana matcha EVER. You order on a kiosk, but the workers are really sweet. The interior and atmosphere is also very nice and chill. Only downside is that the price is pretty steep. $8.25 for small cup of matcha plus tax almost making it $9 when the small cup is really small and mostly ice at times which disappoints me. Was randomly in the area in the morning after a hike and wanted to avoid traffic a bit going back north, so I looked for a boba place in the area and found Insomnibar. It's got a pretty cool, modern yet organic vibe, though seating is fairly limited and the cafe itself is rather small. I got a large Thai tea with boba to treat myself, as I am almost never at a boba place early enough in the day for the caffeine not to affect me. They got my order wrong at first and gave me a small, though with prices and shrinkflation nowadays I'd never know if that's just what a large is. They corrected their mistake immediately when I asked about it, though. The tea itself was very tasty, sweet but not overly so, and the boba quality was decent. If I ever found myself down in the Silver Creek area again I'd come back and try some of their other interesting-looking flavors. I work near here so decided to check it out. Bonus for me is it is walkable distance. The interior is upscale but a little odd in it has 2 entrances from the side and the front. We ordered from kiosk that is on the side (door facing the parking lot) . Very limited seating so after ordering I ventured to other side to realize jt was the front because it had the cash register. Luckily, It was a nice day so we ended up waiting outside because not much standing room. This was around 1:30pm so it was packed. I got the potted coffee - the cream was nice and thick. My order was pretty much ready by the time I walked in. They have 2 kiosks to order from. Nice seating area inside for those who like a 3rd space to do some work or just hang out. The cups are unique and the staff is friendly. There's plenty of parking around. The reason I gave 4/5 stars is simply because I didn't love my drink.
