Best bagels available in the South SJ area, and the best bagels I've had in a while just in general. I find myself returning to this place whenever I want to go out for breakfast or an early lunch. The service is fantastic and everyone is always working hard to get your food to you quickly without sparing its high quality. The dining room is a touch small but there's outside seating on the benches provided by the shopping center that work great in California weather if there's nothing inside. Definitely stop by if you're looking for a new regular bagel spot and don't forget to tip these hard working people, they deserve it! read more

Love the variety of bagels they have, including my fave (pesto). They have a nice assortment of cream cheese too but just know these are lighter, airy compared to the dense Philadelphia brand which makes spreading easier. I really like their jalapeño cream cheese, it's blended well vs having small bits of jalapeño like you see at other bagel shops. Their lox is good, I just ask for no capers and onion. I came here earlier today near noon since my boyfriend was craving bagels. The bagel shop is in a nice and clean plaza with plenty of parking. The whole process time of going inside, ordering and receiving the food took about 10-12 minutes. I wanted the jalapeño bagel with bacon, egg and cheese whereas my boyfriend ordered the jack cheese bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. They ran out of the jalapeño bagel, so my boyfriend opted and got me the marinara bagel instead. The marinara bagel wasn't too my liking as it added a sweet taste to the breakfast foods inside. I ended up trading my boyfriend for his. Among our breakfast bagels, we also got the apple bagel with strawberry cream cheese inside. When we lived in the area, this is where you would find us most Sundays. It's been awhile and wanted to see if our favorite bagel shop is still there and glad to say, it's still there and there was a line out the door when we got here around 10:30am on a Sunday. Fresh bagel and croissants, you cannot go wrong. I love their ham and cheese croissants while my little family likes their lox with marinara bagel. It comes with a side of pickle. It still tastes so fresh and so good. So happy this family owned shop is still there and serving amazing fresh pastries. Their coffee and Thai tea are good as well. I needed a quick grab-n-go breakfast today before doing all my errands and hitting the gym... so I decided to stop by Regal Bagel nearby! I've seen this place multiple times before dropping off my nieces at their gymnastics lesson nearby, but never tried it. I was intrigued by the marinara bagel many yelpers mentioned in the reviews, so decided it was time to give it a go. I got a marinara bagel with tomato herb spread, sausage, and egg. Omg.... this BAGEL is unlike any other bagel I've had. It was so yummy and paired so well with the tomato herb spread. The bread was soft in the inside and the amount of marinara was PERFECT.
