I pre-ordered donuts for AM pickup. Order was not ready at the time given. As I sat there waiting for about 15-20 minutes maybe, they grabbed donuts from a freezer, microwaved them and slapped on the topping. No mention of them being old, no price reduction. Nothing. I would have rather them said they didn't have any available. They looked worse in person. I was also missing donuts and had other donuts with some type of black specks in them. Not sure what it was. A shame quality has gone down. I have purchased from them many times,but will not be returning. read more

I think after the Management changed. The price of the donuts have been gone up. A regular blaze doughnut now is $2 dollar that is crazy. Used to be my favorite shop when the old lady was still here. read more

Best donut shop in this area! I love a good buttermilk bar and this place delivers. They also make a great maple bar and my roommate who loves crullers is always happy with them as well. The service is always quick and they are helpful if you need advice when deciding. read more

I stopped by to check this donut place out because some other yelpers have it some good reviews. It is in a sketchy strip mall. There is a lot of parking available. Nice selection of donuts. I tried the apple fritter, and it was pretty good. Crispy exterior, soft interior filled with Apple pieces. The service was friendly and nice. Her day was winding down, so she was sweeping when I came into the store. read more

I like trying new businesses to find new favorite spots. This place is located in a shopping center, and is a small business. The selection of donuts is limited. We bought breakfast bagel sandwiches and hot beverages. The tea, coffee and bagel sandwiches were satisfying. The service was mid, not rude but not too friendly, just serious. The down side was the windows were not clean, very smudged and noticeable in the morning sun. It gives the impression of not cared for or just plain unkept. read more

There was a nice variety of donuts available in the display case around 9am on a Sunday. But we opted for the sausage and egg croissant (#6) which btw comes with cheese, turkey sandwich (#15), and iced mocha, which was a bit too bitter for my liking, but strong if you prefer your coffee that way. The sandwiches were small in size and didn't stand out in any way, but a good enough meal to start our day, no complaints. Service was quick and efficient. Also, there are a few tables and seats inside for dine-in, and easy parking in a shared lot for the plaza. read more

Been going this business for years ever since I started high school till now. They always have the freshest and tastiest donuts that you can find in the evergreen area. They also sell sandwiches too and my go to is always their sausage and egg croissant. Their glazed donuts and mini donuts have never failed to disappoint me at all. Went in not expecting much, just wanted something quick and decent. Ended up being way better than I expected. The folks working there were super polite and seemed genuinely happy to help, not just doing it cause they have to. That goes a long way with me. They were patient too, even when I asked about a couple dishes I wasn't familiar with. Food wise, wow. Just really solid flavors and cooked just right. Everything felt fresh and balanced. I especially liked how they didn't go heavy on sauces or spices to cover things up. It tasted clean, like the ingredients were fresh and cooked with care. Even the smaller things like the bread or sides had thought put into them. The place had a relaxed vibe, not too loud or too quiet. I didn't feel out of place even though I was eating alone. Back again! I love it here. Unfortunately prices have gone up, more so due to inflation. Nonetheless, the prices of their menu here is still significantly cheaper than NY, NJ and Texas. The aunties always take care of us. I can't wait to move here and devour their menu. Lol. read more

Evergreen Donut lives up to its name at providing good donuts, but surprisingly it also offers up some tasty sandwiches. Looking for a simple place to grab a bite, we stumbled onto this place and are so glad we did. They have a large variety of sandwiches that they will custom make for you as well as a solid variety of donuts. Both are equally good. FOOD: Nothing fancy here. Not some large variety of cronut's or donuts that are covered and slathered in a whole bunch of different things. Instead they offer up the classics like twists, glazed donuts, longjohns and apple fritters. Tasty without being greasy. Got the tuna sandwich and loved the balance between the tuna and all the other condiments. Often time the tuna doesn't get to shine but this time it did and the flavors were spot on. My daughter got the ham and cheese and loved that it was on a croissant roll. SERVICE: I did not go in personally, but they were fast, efficient, and wrapped up everything well. I might have spread the donuts out in more bags to protect them from bumping into each other, but otherwise it was good. COST: definitely worth it! The sandwiches were under $10 and we're a really good size. They don't come with anything although I imagine you can get other stuff. But for a great take away place this will definitely meet your needs. read more

The good: I tried a mint milk tea (without the boba), pineapple sticks and crab croissant sandwich from here. The sandwich had tomato, pickles, jalapeno, mustard, mayo, lettuce, and imitation crab. I liked that the croissant wasn't chewy like the grocery store-style crescent rolls. I was surprised to see mint milk tea as a flavor option because it isn't common! The pineapple sticks were delicious and the pastry dough on it was super flaky and fell apart. It was the best item of the 3 I tried. The sandwich reminded me a burger because of its ingredients. The prices are great which is why it deserves an extra star! The bad: The mint milk tea was supposed to be 25% sweetness but it was definitely more (probably 100%). It was definitely too sweet for me. The croissant was good but could have been flakier. It would have been cool if the crab component of the sandwich was mixed/torn up a bit and mixed with the mayo. The interesting: They have both cake donuts and raised donuts for folks who are biased in their donut love (I'm team raised). read more

i've been on a breakfast sandwich kick lately and Evergreen Donut has hands down the best variety and taste. Stopped by around 8:30 on a Tuesday morning, small line but the ladies behind the counter are super quick. within 10 minutes we had out sandwiches. I got the Turkey, Egg and Jalapeño #8--IT WAS SO GOOD (a little spicy at first because it's packed edge to edge with jalapeños) and my dude got a bacon egg and cheese #2. I was able to eat half my sandwich before I got full (portion is more than adequate). Prices are reasonable, but there is a 45¢ fee for using a card. Will more than likely be revisiting this place in the near future. read more

4.5 STARS I arrived to guess what?! Donuts! Apparently the fam was having donuts for breakfast and had a few leftover. And I was one of the lucky recipients. This happened on Thursday, December 31st around 1:45pm. There was half a custard filled donut left and I gobbled that down. The custard was so creamy and the doughnut filled with a generous amount. My pet peeve is ordering a custard donut only to get a small spot of custard for the filling. Not true here! I was super happy. I later ate half a jelly filled donut which was also good. Tho not filled quite as much as the custard one. I needed another donut fix and decided to try the sugar raised. It needed more sugar as I found it a little plain tasting. The texture was pretty good tho. I was eyeing a lemon filled donut, but 3+ donuts in one day? I decided to keep my waistline in check and refrain. I will definitely come back for that custard donut. I don't care how many donut shops I've been to, or how many donuts I've tried from different places, Evergreen Donuts will and forever be my favorite spot. I love this place, it's sentimental for me. This is the only shop my family has been and still go to on Saturday or Sunday mornings. 1 dozen donuts: 6 chocolate and 6 glazed. And depending who goes, a Bear Claw makes its way into those dozen, but that's it! These donuts though, they're special. They remind me of childhood, better yet: H O M E. Good: Selection of bagels and donuts Wish could be better: Card fee (even with the total over $20), included in the bill. Milk tea was way too sweet and the pearls were in a big clump at the bottom, making it the worst I ever had. The small size was priced at $3.50 but i was billed $7.75 for a larger size. When asked during payment, the server said the small size was not available. I did not appreciate not being notified when placing the order and charged hella extra for a tea. read more

This is my neighborhood donut shop. Although I look like I eat a lot of donuts, I tried this place for the first time after driving by the past 11 years. We had family in town staying at our house and I thought donuts for breakfast would be a fun change of pace. I was surprised to see croissants and other pastries, besides a large selection of donuts. I selected a mixed dozen of donuts, croissants and apple fritters. Everyone enjoyed the different selections. I'll be back, especially for the croissants. read more

If you are ordering donuts this is a great spot for a quick grab and go shop. However, with new ways of ordering (i.e. online orders through platforms and accepting phone orders) this mom and pop shop is in way over their head. I'm in town visiting my grandma and extended family, and waited over 40 minutes for 3 croissant sandwiches to be made. We are talking your classic- bacon, egg, cheese sandwich... We watched 3 different waves of customers come in and out with their orders fulfilled. I asked several times where our food was and was told "they are working on it". When it was ready, they made the wrong sandwiches, causing another delay. Needless to say, too much going on. Updated this review by 1 star: the croissant sandwich itself is good. read more

Super clean and friendly donut shop! So many choices for breakfast sandwiches. I ordered #9 and added avocado to it. It was delicious!! They made the sandwiches very quick. Also ordered a ice blended Mexican coffee and it was yummy. They also accept card which was a plus for me. I hardly ever carry cash. They do charge a .45 fee which I don't mind paying. This place offers some of the best croissant sandwiches in the Bay Area. Change my mind. You definitely wouldn't expect it from an unassuming donut shop, but it's true! My regular order includes the #3, the ham and cheese croissant, and the #8, the ham and cheese croissant with jalapenos. My dad LOVES the #8 and is so happy when I come home with them, so I try to go at least once a week. The donuts are excellent, but in my opinion this place really shines with their sandwiches. The sandwiches are also priced very reasonably. I highly recommend trying them out! read more

I've been coming here allll my life. It's my local donut shop. They've moved a few stores down a while ago but still in the same plaza I love the homey feeling of this shop and the staff are always so friendly and nice. I come and get donut holes for my family. Their glazed donut .... soooooo good! My favorite one ever. It's very dense and thick but so fluffy and perfect! Do not overlook these classic gems. My go to is also #8 croissant sandwich. I know a few folks who really like this place, so I thought why not give it a try, since my go-to was closed. I got a couple donuts to go, and I can't say I was impressed. What I think could improve is the amount of bold flavors. I think the pork wasn't bold enough, the pickled veggies not vinegary enough, and the jalepenos not spicy enough. The cilantro didn't really taste like anything either. Not a bad sandwich but nothing really to stand out. The coffee was the right amount of sweetness and bitterness I'm looking for in a Vietnamese coffee.

Theres was only one other singular customer in the entire restaurant who looked like she's already been there a while and was already sitting down when we came in, and 30 minutes flew (which is the end of our lunch break) and that customer just got her food. So imagine how long it took for our food to come out 40+ minutes. I'm not mad about it at all but I was just genuinely so confused. Because it took 40+ mins our 2 pastas came out way before my salad. Even stopping by the crowded starbucks, all 4 of our drinks came out, and we had time to sit and chat and come back and our food was still not ready. I was so so lost about how my salad took so much time when it was just lettuce, proscuitto, and eggs. Compared to TWO whole pastas with chicken and bread. But they also forgot the bread that came out with it. I was actually just confused because the place was practically empty as well. The salad was really average however the pasta was too hard, needed to be boiled way longer, and just did not taste good unfortunately. I rarely give any one stars so this says a lot :( Would not return and should've went to the other spots in the plaza for lunch.

I took a bite of each of the rest just so I could write this review and will save for my sons for when I get home because it's all too good not to be shared. Will be back!

All 4 seemed to love their sandwiches, I had mixed feelings about mine "The Hunter Pence" which I requested clearly on Whole Wheat and dang it, it was on one of those Dutch Crunch Rolls which are very hard to eat "for me". It was a really "wet bun, sloppy" kind of sandwich, which made it a wee bit disgusting to eat. I "deconstructed" the rest of the sandwiches ingredients the next day into a whole other sandwich. Weird stringy fatty bacon though, which I ended up tossing. Lesson learned "for me" stick to a basic sandwich, nothing fancy and pray it really is on whole wheat bread.
