this is my first time visiting the Evergreen area. I had just moved to Silver Creek and you normally walked down to the Starbucks, but I drove here to see if I could get some things done mostly uploading hundreds of gigabytes of photos to my new gallery. I ordered a plain black tea iced during this crazy heat wave in March 2026 and a tuna sandwich with extra tuna added cheese toasted. For the price, it was kind of a fit of a bad deal in my opinion just because I enjoy getting a foot-long tuna sandwich from Subway that you can often get for a great deal as a combo. For the sake of supporting small businesses I was OK with the ambience the price of the service. For today's mission, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow with 12 MB per second upload, which is kind of what I get at home so after I finish my meal, I packed up and headed to the library which is just across the street. I can definitely see myself bringing my three dogs here as there was a girl who left her dog outside while she ordered and she spent a few minutes outside on the deck i'm sure this place gets really crowded especially when the weather is nice. Told my son about this place and now he sometimes walk here to get a ham, bacon and egg sandwich with an option of bagel your choice or a . We've probably been here a couple dozen times at this point and have somehow never rated it, but here's an honest Evergreen Coffee review. This is the best neighborhood coffee spot around, bar none. It's highly accessible since it's directly in the square and it's easy to grab and go or sit down and chat with some friends. It's pretty welcoming inside as you see all the locals drink and eat, some even doing work throughout the day. Ordering is pretty quick and they have a pretty wide menu of pastries, sandwiches, coffees, and teas. Typically we just get coffee here, and it's pretty good. From iced to drip to specialty coffees like dirty chais or mochas, they make drinks well here. Sometimes the quality can be hit or miss, but the misses are never bad. The standard here is good coffee, which is nice and dependable. This place has been here for some time and always has constant business, and that says a lot about its spot in the neighborhood. This is just about as consistent of a coffee spot as they come and its location also gives it higher consideration. It has a plethora of offerings to satisfy your breakfast needs! My breakfast everything bagel was steaming hot and fresh. Bagel is was lightly toasted and I love how the cheddar cheese was melting onto the bagel. ! Absolutely perfect. My 20 oz iced hazelnut latte work whole milk? Strong and dreamy, just like me. Anyway. My friend got the massive butter croissant, it's the size of a small dessert plate! He said it's not as buttery as anticipated, it was crispy and the chewy and better than Lee's sandwiches. I think it would taste better warmed up. He also got the chocolate and croissant which is substantially smaller, it was, crispy and I liked it. Service is fast and on point. Cafe is super cozy too! read more

We came around brunch time and it was busy but lines went very quickly. Huge selection of drinks and sandwiches. Friendly staff took our order and it was ready within 10 minutes. For two people the total came out to $30. Food 5/5: We got the turkey club croissant and it was very tasty. Everything you could wish for in a sandwich, it was huge, fresh and the bacon and bread had a nice crisp. Drinks 3.5/5: I got the Iced Mexican Mocha, it tasted like a packet of hot chocolate mix, it was a bit grainy but I'm happy they had milk substitutes and opted for oatmilk. I would skip this next time and instead try a matcha or the Vietnamese Iced coffee. We also tried the Panna Cotta Espresso, this one was basic, but good. There's indoor/outdoor seating but at the time we went all the tables were occupied by people that were planning on a long stay, not just for a quick bite or sip of coffee. Tons of people had their laptops plugged in, some were having meetings and then a sweet elderly lady decided to take all the chairs and reserved them. This place runs on a first come first serve basis so it was a bit rude , waitstaff did seem annoyed but didn't say anything. Nobody wants to upset the elderly lol it was fine we decided to take a stroll across the street to the plaza and found a bench under a trellis to sit under. Calm surroundings with a fountain and some people doing tai chi. After a while we decided to go back and try a couple of their Italian sodas. We got the cherry and the cherry lime. $6 each. We would skip these next time because it was flat and didn't really taste like anything. Overall would love to go back for another sandwich and to try another coffee! read more

It's a small store/cafe with good menu selections/breakfast sandwiches/bagels/pastries/smoothies/coffee/tea/etc. Of course, it is usually packed with customers, students, seniors, bikers, and more. Dogs too! Positive coffee shop vibes are still good and original. Must love Wednesday views, especially when there's an active Farmer's Market outside. Evergreen is a very friendly and welcoming neighborhood community. This place stands out. There are still plenty of tables and chairs outdoors too. Cashiers are busy as usual ringing up customers nonstop. Yes, it gets loud as people are studying/chatting/enjoying their coffee moments inside. Prices have definitely gone up, but everything still tastes satisfying and good. I had a delicious 20oz. cup orange mango smoothie $7.95 with my breakfast delight sandwich on regular bagel $7.50. Simple and tasty. They really hooked me up with lots of green scallions in my eggs. Nice. It's great to see them fully staffed again. Gorgeous views outside as usual. I just tried their Dubai Matcha and it was good! I asked it to be less sweet and it was still pretty flavorful. Overall, their matcha lattes don't tend to be too sweet anyway so I think even if it's regular sweetness it still tastes balanced. I like coming here after Pilates class or when I go to the Farmers Market. It's a nice little neighborhood cafe and my drinks always come out good and not overly sweet. They also have pastries and sandwiches so it's a nice place to get a quick snack. read more

It will get packed occasionally where you'll be standing out the door which is good for business! Whenever I pay or get my order, one of the ladies calls me "sweetie." This place is nice. I am not from the East Side/Evergreen area but I must say this is a really cool coffee joint. For a ma and pa joint there is a lot of variety here. There is indeed a very extensive menu. I think it's coffee from around the world except South Korea. You get a variety of coffee and some teas plus generic store drinks. It's a huge hit for all generations and ethnicities. The staff here is very friendly to just about anyone regardless if they are local to the area. Once I went inside, ooh the smell is very nice. Students come here to study. Families come here to bond with each other. I think I may have seen the owner, such a cool guy. It's up in the evergreen area and I had not been to this shopping center in years. It's in my area but somehow I always forget about it. So if you don't like farmers markets then you might want to wait till closer to the afternoon because coming. Considering the farmers market and the amount of people out the experience was quite enjoyable. My husband and I both ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee and a bagel sandwich. I got the turkey club on an everything bagel with no tomatoes and my husband got the sausage and egg sandwich on a plain bagel. We ordered at the counter and since they were getting busy we grabbed a table outside. I like the fact they had a big enough table to pull my daughter stroller up to it. They finished our coffee quickly and brought them out to us since we were not inside when they called our number. Shortly after they finished our bagel sandwiches. We ate them outside and when I took that first bite it was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be. It tasted great the bacon was crispy and had the perfect topping. I really love when a bagel shop put cucumbers on a sandwich so that was perfect. My husband said his sandwich was equally as delicious. Sitting outside was nice and relaxing and created a great atmosphere for our meal. 10/10 would highly recommend and would definitely go back. read more

I've gone to this coffee shop so many times! It's a nice environment for studying, catching up with friends, grabbing a quick drink and/ or having a small meal. Whenever I need a spot to work or have errands in the village square, I make sure to stop by this coffee shop. For working, they have a good amount of open outlets for use but note not to expect a quiet environment as it's often busy. On occasion I will grab the Vietnamese coffee mostly for the convenience, but it's nothing significantly special - I've had better. I love to order the Nova Lox with a cheese bagel. It's great for a quick bite! However, it has certainly gotten more and more pricey of a bagel over the years. The bagel will also be a hit or miss, sometimes I'll get a well packed bagel but other times it'll be just the bare minimum of every topping. Despite the potential misses, it's delicious and nostalgic enough for me to grab it every time! read more

Honestly terrible service. While the vibe of this place is cute, the employees are incredibly rude. I've tried to give this café another chance, but after today, I won't be returning. Years ago, my grandfather and I stopped coming here due to poor treatment, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. My mom went inside to order while I stayed outside with our dog. She ordered me a decaf white mocha, as I have heart issues and cannot have much caffeine. I also work at a café myself, so I'm familiar with how these situations should be handled. After taking a few sips, I could immediately tell it was not decaf. Within five minutes, I felt my heart rate increasing. I went inside and politely asked if they had decaf espresso beans to confirm. The employee said yes, so I explained that we had ordered decaf and asked if the drink could be remade. She responded by saying, "I took the order--she didn't say decaf." Even if that were true (which it wasn't), remaking a decaf latte is extremely simple. When I asked again, she bluntly stated, "No, we don't remake drinks." At that point, I said okay and walked away. My mom, feeling bad that I had nothing I could safely drink, went back inside to order another latte and to clearly stress decaf. While she was waiting in line, the same employee pulled her out of line twice just to reiterate, "I'm not remaking that," and "To confirm, you didn't order decaf." My mom calmly explained that she did order decaf, but since they refused to remake it, she was simply ordering another drink. The employee continued repeating herself and being unnecessarily confrontational. After being treated so rudely, my mom left the coffee behind and we left altogether. For mediocre coffee at best paired with appalling customer service, this place is absolutely not worth it. As someone who works in food service, and café making coffee myself, I would never treat customers this way. I would recommend Café 86 on the other corner over this place any day. If they were open earlier in the morning, they would take all the business from this place with their terrible service. read more

This place has been the spot to go to if you want to visit a casual coffee shop. They have a ton of breakfast items ranging from bagels to croissants to pastries to coffee. I took my girlfriend here to try out there sandwiches and let me tell you guys that this place is such a hidden gem. The owner was really nice and helped us with recommendations. Food we ordered: Sausage, egg and cheese croissant: you can't really go wrong with ordering this. Simple yet delicious and fresh! Bacon, egg and cheese croissant: the bacon they have here is fresh, you can tell they put so much time and effort into making these! This location has the look and feel of a cozy coffee shop. However, it seems this place is too focused on how to make the next dollar while failing to recognizing that you can both provide great customer service and achieve your financial goals. Specifically, I had ordered an iced strawberry matcha for my wife and a Vietnamese iced coffee for myself . Unfortunately, my wife did not enjoy her drink. She tried a few sips but it was not good. I went to the front and asked if I could substitute this for just a regular iced matcha. This wasn't a scheme to get an extra beverage, as I had mentioned it can be discarded. The person asked "what was wrong with the drink?" I had said my wife didn't like it. The worker responded with a painful grin type reaction and said "well because there's nothing wrong with the drink, I can't refund the drink. I'd have to charge you for a new drink"....but there is something wrong, it didn't taste good. I ended up saying "ok, if that is how you want to run things" and paid for the drink. Silly of me, I know, but if they want to charge me $7 then they can feel free but they're now losing what would be a repeat customer as my wife and I come to this area often. Absolutely ridiculous behavior I had a particularly bad stomach ache this morning and while I was taking care of business in the restroom I was greeted with multiple knocks on the door about 8 minutes into my journey I responded with "someone is using the restroom" multiple times to no answer just more periodic knocking. Eventually, the man outside proclaims I've been in the restroom too long. At this point, I don't want to struggle through the rest with someone harassing me through the bathroom door. I step out at 12 minutes and the worker outside proclaims I've been in the bathroom for over 20 minutes (which was a lie, I have timestamps from a text conversation before I arrived at the restaurant) What an extremely unprofessional way to treat your customers. Have you never had a stomach ache before?! Sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes to use the restroom....Do you think I enjoy sitting in public restrooms for that long? read more

Lovely little coffee shop! The hot caramel latte was exactly what I needed -- sweet caramel coffee with tons fluffy milk foam. Drink came out scalding hot, so make sure not to drink the first few sips too fast. Plenty of seating and they offer free wifi. It was a perfect place to get away from the rain and have a warm drink. read more
