One beignet is bigger than my hand.

BEST EVER BEIGNETS!! Better than Disneyland's! I've been wanting to try this place for a while. Their beignets are bigger than the palm of my hand. They are big chewy pillows of deliciousness covered in powdered sugar. I highly recommend these yummy treats. ONE DOZEN FOR $15. Great deal! Next time I come, I'll have to try their Egg Rolls, Bobas and strawberry/Nutella Crêpes. Their menu has lots to choose from for a nice meal. The location is kind of hidden inside a Asian/Korean coffee/tea house on the first corner of a strip mall in front of Walmart. (So pay attention to your directions app.) The establishment was clean and welcoming with cute little tables for couples and small groups. K-pop videos play on their big screen.

Got the Mango Passion smoothie and it was not good! Do not get it. When we asked if we could exchange the lady very rudely said no. Bad customer service, we probably won't be coming back unfortunately.

Came here on a Sat night when my son wanted some beignets after dinner and I found this spot on Yelp. We ordered original beignets and chocolate drizzle. The beignets were huge and so fluffy. We ate it like 20 min after getting it and it was still so good. Store is also BoBo drinks and it's spacious in there.

I was craving sweets so my boyfriend and I decided to come to Bon Beignet which is inside Bobo Drinks. It all started from the moment we walked in. We had gotten there an hr before closing and they were already mopping the floor, so the entire place smelled like Clorox & chemicals. I feel like if it was 5-10min before I can understand but right after we got there a bunch of customers came in so the floor just got dirtied even more because it was wet. We had ordered the kids size 12 pk thinking it was small but it was the size of a normal beignet. The entire inside was hollow. Our batch was warm but did not seem fresh at all. It was kind of stale. I've had donut holes softer than these. I also tried buying the chocolate dipping sauce in the star container but they didn't have any. They do charge for the sauce. The chocolate seemed to taste like the chocolate syrup you'd put in milk as a kid. It was just a really disappointing experience topped with a disappointing dessert.

My friend and I went to go get dessert after watching "strangeworld". I did not really enjoy the movie in my opinion but after the movie I was hungry. We ended up going to this place because they had star shaped beignet. The beignet we ordered was not star shaped. The beignet ended up being huge square shaped, doughy, powdered and delicious. We ordered the 12 piece with a scoop of ice cream. The total was about 16$ which is expensive but the beignets tasted pretty dang good. It was fluffy, sugary and warm. Similar to a croissant heated in the microwave for 30 seconds, but way better. It melts in your mouth and has a soft texture. Then again we got it fresh. My friend and I enjoyed it and would not mind coming back to order more in the future. I definitely have this place on my radar. Other people came in and ordered after us so it had to be pretty good. It was sort of crowded after 10pm at night on a wednsday. They had plenty of other things on the menu but they are know. For the beignets and I wouldn't risk getting anything else. The sign outside doesn't match the name but the window is transparent and you are able to see the real name of the place when peaking through the glass.

beignets with chocolate syrup missing star jar with matcha

had high expectations but was so disappointed. ordered on ubereats & wanted something to satisfy cravings. this place looked good and not easy to mess up, but somehow it did? ordered 6 pcs beignets + added $1 chocolate syrup. on uber eats it wouldn't let us proceed until we needed to add another $1 to order so i added the star jar no problem. i asked in the star jar to add matcha syrup since i saw on yelp that they have matcha syrup available. however, when ubereats got here we didn't receive the matcha syrup star jar.... i don't get why they want us to add another $1 & not give it. figured it was no big deal could move past it but the chocolate syrup was not very good it was a bit harder and very darker taste :( when i received the beignets, the shapes were weirdly shaped and a bit flat; looked like the powder was barely there too & very oily on the bottom. overall, decided to try it for the one time and never again. i hope that in the future they will reshape the beignets & include what people order for others in the future

First. This place is called BOBO BOBA. Second., we came here for the beignets. Restaurant was clean. Service was good. Drinks and beignets were good. Delicious and fresh beignets! Yum!! The only thing was that the restaurant was absolutely freezing inside because it was 40 degrees outside and they had all their doors wide open.

I strongly recommended this Bon Beignet store that has a best French-style doughnut with traditionally fried and then topped with powdered sugar which very delicious pastry and even more scrumptious style of baking. Best in town!!! Vivian L

    Buy 2 Boxes Get 1 Free (1/1/2024 - 3/1/2024)

The only thing they have going for them is the Beignets and the lack of competition around here when it comes to this comfort snack. I ordered 12 beignets and when I came in I saw on their TV advertising Buy 2 Boxes Get 1 Free (6 or 12 pcs). I asked the cashier if I could just pay for 2 boxes of 6 pcs/box at $8 each, to get 1 box free. Basically, I was already paying $14 for 12 pcs, but with that deal I could get 18 pcs for $16. They refused me, pointing at another TV Showing a different deal for their 2023 holidays season that apparently runs through till 1/15/2024. I was confused and pointed towards the dates indicated on the B2G1 (see picture) since the business itself ran two different promotions, both promotions were valid today. Instead of honouring the deal, they instead just told me "Idk who turned on the TV". Mistake happens, but what pissed me off was they continued to let the TV runs the "wrong" ads without turning it off as I sit there staring at something I could have had. This brings me to believe they pick and choose who they want to give these deals to. Such a shady establishment.

I like the flavor and texture of the beignets a lot, but got frustrated for the following: they depict heart and star shaped beignet but that is only for the pic. They should not do this kind of advertisement, some people care about the cute shapes. You will get something squared and not fluffy. Again, flavor was good but my beignets were all smashed and lacking good luck. I think the girl mentioned 6 in a box, but my box had only 5. Ok, a mistake anyone has. Latte was lukewarm not hot. Service was not friendly and not welcoming. Decor was cute, it was pleasant to be inside. Exterior facade has an awesome mural and quirky pots for the succulents that make the place pretty pleasant.

We ordered 6 pc beignet with chocolate dipping sauce. The beignets came out freshly fried, hot and covered with powdered sugar. It was good, I even enjoyed the chocolate dipping sauce that costs $1 extra. These were the best beignets I've ever had in the Bay Area. I like that they were HOT.

So, this can be confusing as it's located within the Bobo drinks. It is located near the Walmart in East San Jose. Not the best neighborhood but there seems to be a lot of security. The Bobo drinks menu is more robust but upon asking they tell you that only one of the 5 items is actually available. I've had the beignets in France as well as those in New Orleans so I was really excited to find this spot. Inside is clean. The beignets are light and fluffy without too much oil. Well done!

I'm hunting for a good beignet and I found this place is fairly new in East San Jose. The place is in the Walmart area on Story Road next door to Vietnam Town. The place is large and cutely decorated. The menu in front of the register are their hot food and drinks. The beignet menu is off to the left of the register. It's a smaller one with flavor choices of chocolate, strawberry, caramel and matcha. I ordered 6 beignets with half being chocolate and caramel. They were freshly made as I can smell the aroma of the dessert. If you haven't had a beignet before, it's the French version of a donut. It's lighter tasting than the American donut. When I got home, the beignets cooled down but I can still smell it. I tried the chocolate and it was ok. The caramel surprisingly was the better one. If you're interested in trying a different worldly food, come try this place out. If you're not a dessert person, then you can try their boba drinks and Vietnamese delicacies.

It comes packed with rice paper, basil, beef, chicken jerky, pork rinds, boiled egg, mango, and sautéed shrimp. You get a little bit of everything in each bite. Presentation wise, it looks super good right when you open the container. Before eating, you definitely want to mix it really well so all the flavors come together. They also give you a glove, which makes it way easier (and less messy) to toss everything properly. Flavor wise, it's a nice balance of savory, tangy, and a little sweet from the mango. The textures are also really satisfying: chewy, crunchy, and soft all at once. Service was quick and efficient. The wait for the food was only a few minutes, which made it perfect for a quick snack shop. The staff were also friendly, and everything felt smooth and easy. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for something different and snacky to share with friends. I'd come back again to try more!

I love that the rice paper itself was flavorful, savory, spicy, shrimpy and garlicky. The tamarind sauce on the side was sweet and tangy. I like to pour it over the rice paper so it softened up. I also like the toppings they added for the mixed combo rice paper, nice blend of texture and flavors from jerky, pork rinds, mango, and egg. My personal favorite topping was the Vietnamese coriander, perfect to pair with the rice paper. I highly recommend the combo mixed rice paper. I also got their milk tea & coconut kumquat to try & tbh they were super disappointing. The milk tea & coconut kumquat were unbearably sweet, I couldn't even get to half of the cups. For the milk tea, the tea scent didn't pulled through at all. I was basically sipping on burnt sugary milk. Overall, giving this place 3/5 star because they need to improve their drinks.
