    Wide cone selection

Willow Glen Creamery is one of those easy neighborhood spots. It sits right along Lincoln Avenue, which already has that relaxed, small town feel. They have a good mix of ice cream, frozen yogurt, and even frozen custard, so there is something for whatever mood you are in. The portions are decently generous, and the prices are reasonable for the area. It feels like a place where you can take your time and not think too hard about what to order. There is shared outdoor seating, which adds to the appeal, especially on a nice evening when you just want to sit, talk, and slowly work through something cold and sweet. It is not trying to be fancy, and that is part of the charm. Just a solid, local spot that gets the job done and gives you a reason to linger a little longer than you planned.

Willow Glen Creamery is a gem of the area serving up cheap and great ice cream at a quick pace. The shop itself is small and cute and they have options from ice cream to froyo, both dairy based and vegan. The inside was clean and the workers were very friendly even giving our dog a cup of whipped cream. The area is a bit busy but you can easily find parking at nearby garages, plus they move quickly inside so once you're there there's no more than a 5 min wait even for a decent sized party of 6 like we had. As for the ice cream itself we got their fudge brownie, mint chocolate chip, peppermint in cups. They aren't shy with the scoop size, most of us got one scoop because their two scoops come out to a very large amount, and the flavor of the ice cream itself is fantastic. They have a pretty good selection of toppings too if you like to load things up. We think between the service, value, and flavor, this place is a true standout in the neighborhood. This is an absolute must stop if you're having dinner in the area or want a sweet treat to cap off any kind of night. We will definitely be back when we can!

Glad we stumbled upon this ice cream spot. They have the funniest flavor name like "exhausted parent" & "this $&!/ is nuts". They're very generous with their portions. I ordered the mini size & was shocked by the amount of ice cream I received. You can get 2 flavors even with a mini. I got the coffee almond fudge & banana nut with chocolate filled waffle cone. Personally the waffle cone was too sweet with the sprinkles. I think nuts or just plain would've been a good option to have but at least it was fresh and crunch! It's a small corner shop but there's a fountain that the kids loved right next door and there's outdoor seating as well. We'd definitely come back!

My husband and I stopped by Willow Glen Creamery after eating lunch in the area. I had the cookies and cream and it was good. Pretty similar to cookies and cream ice creams I had before. The shop itself is really small, with no indoor seating, so you'll need to eat outside. Luckily, it's right by a fountain with plenty of bench seating, which makes it a nice spot to enjoy your ice cream. There was a bit of a line when I visited, and service wasn't as fast as I had hoped, though the staff were very nice and friendly.

The best place for a Dole Whip! It tastes exactly like the one at Disney. I'm always impressed by their customer service--we went during the busy Super Bowl weekend, and even with a huge line, they got our orders out super fast. Definitely a local favorite for a reason!

Uber Eats had a BOGO deal for Willow Glen Creamery so we ordered two Pineapple Dole Whips with 3 toppings for pickup. While we waiting in the store, we decided to sample some ice cream just to see if we wanted to buy something else, but the samples were super tiny! Tasted more of the wooden spoon than the sample so didn't get a real sense of the ice cream flavors, but I've heard good things about them. Pineapple Dole Whip (4/5): Good portion size! The Dole whip was refreshing and I really liked the mochi and fruity pebbles toppings, thought it paired well. The strawberry topping was sour which was a bit disappointing because that would have gone well with the Dole Whip. Overall, while the samples could be bigger and the fruit sweeter, the Dole Whip and mochi topping were tasty. I would give Willow Glen a 3.5, rounding up to 4 because of the Uber Eats promo. I would come back for the deal!

Food ok Service good Ambiance ok The ice cream was good but a little too sweet for my likings servings is very fulfilling and a kids or a small size will be enough for me. If I was in the area again I might go back

We were in the area and wanted a sweet treat. Saw that there was a line out the door, so figured this would be good. They have a huge selection of ice cream, frozen yogurt, dole whip, and custard. They had 4-5 employees working, however, they were very slow to get through the line. I ordered a vanilla custard with raspberries. It was fine, but not like other custard I have had. The inside of the shop was dirty- the floors were not clean and there were napkins on the ground. I also didn't love that a fair amount of the website had "lorem ipsum" placeholders for the text. Not sure I would go back.

Refreshing and light ice cream/sorbet. Got the pineapple dole whip, lime sorbet, and peach ice cream. Perfect for a hot day, would come again!

I'll be honest. I don't go to Willow Glen a lot compared to other parts of San Jose. If it has an Asian food place that can reel me in like an Okinawan food spot or a rare spot like Indonesian, then okay, I'd be here more. Whenever I visit Willow Glen, I always try hard to avoid Willow Glen Creamery not because it's bad. It's because it's so good, getting me away from trying to limit my sweet vice. Ha ha ha! The look is more or less the same. It's so vibrate. The place is popping regarding the ambience part. Even when I don't come here often, the adorable and terrific staff members help me run through what's on hand as they take care of a noteworthy part of San Jose that once upon a time was a town of its own before being part of San Jose if I remember correctly. What's spiffy is that in my last visit, I saw Stitch, and I had to get the Maui flavor, as I will go there soon. I couldn't recall if there's mochi at the time, but glad that it's there. Flaws? Like Oakland's Fenton's, parking's a bother. That's it! Willow Glen Creamery is that good of a place! Outside of parking, the place is that good of a place! Get a child or mini cup if you're by yourself, as I feel that small is better off with another person. +/Willow Glen Creamery is wonderful, groovy and cool for providing good service and good good frozen treats. -/If only it doesn't have the parking issue.

I got the lime sorbet, peach ice cream and dole whip. It was delicious-- big fan of the peach ice cream with pieces of peach in it. Went on a sunny day and they have nice outdoor seating. Service was good and although there was a line it went by fast.

Nice creamery with large variety of flavors. Had lemon-steawberry Italian ice. Was good, a little different from precious Italian ice companies I've tried. Creamy and very sweet... but no milk. Very popular place and a few tables outside.

Awesome advertisement for a birthday girl
    Judie H.

Enjoyed a birthday cone with my aunt today. It was an interesting experience. Sandwich board in front of creamery was great advertising. I was enticed & excited to enter. The excitement abated a bit because there was 1 employee (later a 2nd appeared) for all customers on a warm Saturday afternoon. Okay... I had nothing to do, but celebrate my day! The excitement dwindled a bit more when I realized that this business' owners really enjoy letters & words. They are EVERYWHERE. It was painful trying to find a spot where I could give my eyes & brain a break from the information overload. The place isn't dirty... it's huge. It just offers few spots of blank space were one can (un)focus & dream about the deliciousness that awaits. I had Exhausted Parent - great name - with (too much) bourbon flavoring & chocolate bits - and topped it with Honey Lavender - with too much purple. It was an unhealthy, fake, dyed purple. However, the flavor was amazing. I should've had a double Honey Lavender & just closed my eyes. My aunt had Fudge Brownie & she LOVED it!! Allergen info was easy to get, if needed. Cones or cups are provided for the ice creams. Bathrooms? Dunno, didn't need 'em. Apple Pay, cash, card accepted. Free parking nearby & seating outside near fountain, although neighborhood is very walkable. I have no desire to return, but it was good ice cream for the price & a spur-of-the-moment celebration.

On one side, you've got items like tartufo (chocolate, cappuccino, limoncello, pistachio), sorbets, and cheesecake slices in the display case. On the other side, they have traditional Vietnamese-style desserts like sweet soups (chè), grass jelly, black-eyed bean pudding, and combo desserts with things like cassava, jelly, and coconut. There's also a solid drink menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty coffees. I ordered the latte with matcha foam, and while I don't usually go for sweet drinks, this one was definitely on the sweeter side--but still really good. The matcha foam added a nice earthy balance to the coffee underneath. My friend got the three-color iced drink (the one with layered beans and jelly), and if you're into that texture and flavor profile, you'd probably enjoy it. The service stood out. The man helping us (possibly the owner) was very friendly, patient, and took the time to explain menu items, which I appreciated since some of the desserts aren't as familiar if you haven't had them before. The display case also looked well-stocked and clean, with everything neatly packaged and labeled, which made it easy to browse. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something a little different from the usual dessert shops. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the concept feels slightly all over the place, but the quality, variety, and service definitely make it worth checking out.
