I love Yopop as a convenient stop whenever I need a quick lunch or some refreshment. They have everything from seasonal drinks, bobas, sandwiches to a full yogurt bar selection! The store is located right at the corner in the same plaza as TJ Maxx. It's always well lit by those glass windows that let natural lights in. There's a bar area which allows you to sit and enjoy people's traffic if you like. I usually order my avocado toast and BLT sandwiches here! I didn't take pics of them as they ended up in my belly so fast LOL. But both were super delicious There are some gaming stations here too if you're into retro games or have your kids with you. Overall, the service was friendly and fast. The price is reasonable in my opinion. Highly recommend:)

Thai Tea Boba

I love how nostalgic and eclectic this place feels! The menu spans baked desserts, boba, sandwiches, and fro-yo so there is really something for everyone!

First time here but the kids loved it! Lots of flavor to choose from. We also had the Thai Tea in a light bulb! It was pretty good. They also had some old school video games that the the kids played for awhile. Definitely will come back.

I enjoyed a yogurt, and my daughter had a boba. Both were delicious! The service was great. We got our order to go, but they have a lovely seating area and the ambiance is okay. We paid $18.69--it felt a little pricey, but we still had a nice experience.

Peach Fruit Tea, with jelly that I did not want.

First time in Yopop and sadly I'm not impressed. I asked the gentleman behind the counter for their sweetest drink, with no fruit inclusions (such as boba, jelly etc) and he recommended the peach fruit tea. When I got it, it sadly was not sweet at all, and he had put jelly in the bottom. If you recommend the fruit to me and voice it, that's one thing. But to include it secretly when I specifically said not to, is a whole different ballgame. I drank it as I was thirsty, but I definitely will not be ordering it again.

Ever since Yogurtland in South San Jose closed, I've definitely been more appreciative of Yopop when it comes to fixing my froyo craving! They provide a unique variety of flavors and toppings that can easily compete with more major companies. My go-to depends on what I'm feeling (fruity versus more dairy-based flavors), but I always get their original flavor along with a mochi topping. You can't go wrong with that! Decent location with lots of parking and super easy to find.

Brown sugar milk tea and taro milk tea

My boba craving was happily satisfied! Drinks: I ordered the house special brown sugar milk tea that was less sweet and my friend got the taro milk tea with boba. Our drinks tasted smooth and had good flavor. They also serve snacks and other desserts. Ambiance: It's a cute little spot! They have a seating area where you can sit and enjoy your order. Service: Friendly and with a minimal wait Parking: Ample parking! It is located near TJ maxx

The ambience was very welcoming and this looked like an enticing hangout spot, with many seating areas available and a small arcade game at the side. The restaurant was furnished well and decorated attractively with some Super Mario stickers on the windows. I came with my family and we all ordered drinks. I got the mango milk tea and switched out the mango boba with regular boba. It simply tasted like a blended mango with boba. Some more milk or tea flavor would have been the icing on top. Honestly, the drink was just okay but I couldn't stop drinking it for some reason, so I don't know what to tell you about how much I liked the drink. The boba texture was chewy and signified that the pearls were freshly made. This shop was cute and all my family members said the drinks were fine but they would have liked making adjustments to the sugar levels because the drinks ran on the sweet side. The prices were reasonable and the cashiers were helpful and kind.

Yum in a cup!

Wowowow finally got to try Izumi's drinks. Not sure if they need another 5 star review lol, this…read moreplace is heavily known by matcha lovers and SJ locals. What I had: - Lychee Matcha (double matcha, regular sweet, regular ice) - Yuzu Matcha (double matcha, regular sweet, regular ice). Double matcha was not overly strong or caffeinating to me (love that they do not charge extra for this option btw)- my caff tolerance I'd say is relatively high or above average for sure. Surprisingly, at that matcha level the taste is not overly bitter at all. And the regular sweet is perfect (I normally get 50% sweet at boba shops). Same with the ice level, I think their regular ice level is fine (I normally get less ice at boba shops). The Lychee matcha has great lychee taste, not artificial tasting, it's a great blend of both lychee + matcha. The Yuzu is leaning towards the 'lemonade' profile without being overly citrusy. More refreshing than the lychee matcha, but both are refreshing anyways due to the nature of their flavors! I think I prefer the lychee matcha normally, honestly hard to say which flavor is better! I thoroughly enjoyed both these drinks! Their flavors are blended well with the matcha- not overly sweet in flavor, and matcha is great quality while not overly powerful or bitter. Drinks are of course mixed well and composed nearly perfectly. ---How I Rate on Yelp:--- (5 stars): Exceptional!! -- food, service, and atmosphere all outstanding. Worth going out of your way. (4 stars): Great! -- very good experience overall, minor flaws but nothing major. (3 stars): Good -- decent, acceptable, but there's room for clear improvement. (2 stars): Poor -- disappointing experience, multiple issues (food, service, or setting). (1 star): Terrible -- very bad experience, would not return or recommend.

The service is great, and they make your drinks very fast. The taste is very consistent, and they do have a large menu with lots of different items other than matcha. My only downside is the variety of matcha over the recent year. From last year and this year, the menu for matcha has not changed much, and it seems like I get the same taste every time I go. While the first time was enjoyable, after it just gets repetitive. I love Izumi, but I really wish there was a rotation between drinks.

I was looking for a reliable…read moredessert spot open late that serves desserts on the lighter side, and che fit the bill perfectly. Both times I've gone were half an hour before closing and the store was packed. The first time I got the Ha Noi Mist and the Lychee Rose, the second time I got the Ha Long Sunset and a limited stock warm specialty dessert with pandan and ube dumplings in a ginger coconut sauce. The Ha Noi Mist's ingredients sounded the most aligned with my personal preferences and I got the Lychee Rose to try something different but refreshing on a warm summer night. I was hesitant to get the Ha Long Sunset since I'm not a fan of jackfruit but Eric voted for it, and also the dumplings since a ginger coconut sauce sounds weird but he said that's what he wanted. Sipping che through a straw definitely beats spooning it. Make sure to thoroughly mix the drink and crush up the ice a bit before indulging. On my first visit I didn't notice the kiosk and ordered with the cashier so I was confused at how I would know when my order is ready because I didn't get a number or a receipt, but I later noticed the screens displaying that information on the wall. I'm a big fan of pandan jelly. The red pearls can be good but can sometimes have a bit of a crunchy chew in the center. Young coconut has a good flavor but a texture that isn't my favorite. I did not like the jackfruit in the Ha Long Sunset, but the flavor wasn't strong enough to ruin the whole dessert. I feel like che is a dessert that is not necessarily expensive or time consuming to produce, and the milk tea/fruit tea prices here are definitely on the pricey end given their component ingredients. Yes I would revisit, especially when I need dessert late, but I feel that making che at home could be the cost-effective alternative.

We walked into a clean, modern space with a casual café feel that works well for stopping by after a meal or meeting up with friends for something sweet. The shop focuses on creative variations of bingsu with toppings ranging from fruit to chocolate, matcha, and other dessert-inspired flavors, and the layout encourages lingering over a shared dessert rather than rushing through a quick stop. The biggest highlight is the texture of the shaved ice itself. The ice is extremely soft and light, melting quickly while still holding the flavors from the toppings and condensed milk. We ordered the Injeolmi Sulbing, which showcases the more traditional side with nutty flavors, and the combination of the fine ice, chewy rice cake, and nutty powder created a dessert that felt both refreshing and satisfying. The Tiramisu and Chocolate Brownie Sulbing turn it into a much more indulgent experience, with richer flavors that feel closer to a full dessert than a light treat. The presentation is impressive, with each bowl arriving looking carefully composed, and the layers of toppings are distributed well enough that you get a good mix in every spoonful. The portions are also a major part of the appeal. A single bingsu is easily shareable, making it a good choice for groups or anyone looking for a dessert to split after a meal. We found that sharing worked well, as the portion was generous enough to satisfy two people without feeling like we were missing out. Beyond bingsu, they also offer items like toast and other sweet treats, which give the menu more variety and make it a place you can visit even if you are not in the mood for shaved ice. The main thing to keep in mind is that the experience depends heavily on the flavor you choose. Some versions rely more on the toppings for their flavor, while others feel more balanced throughout. The presentation is impressive, but certain options may feel less satisfying if you expect every bite to have the same intensity as the first. The fruit-based versions, for example, rely on the freshness of the fruit to carry the dessert, while the chocolate and tiramisu versions have a more consistent richness from the base itself. Sulbing is a great spot for trying Korean-style shaved ice. The unique texture, large portions, and variety of flavors make it stand out from typical dessert shops, especially if you enjoy lighter desserts with creative toppings. The balance of refreshing and indulgent options across the menu gives you room to explore different styles on repeat visits, and the quality of the ingredients makes each bowl feel considered and well composed.
