Strawberry MilK Tea with Boba and Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Mathew J.

The Strawberry Mile Tea with Boba was delicious and also the Peanut Butter Ice Cream. Loved the Food! Service was great. Cindy the owner came out with a smile on her face and helped me choose what I should get since I was indecisive. Loved the ambience as well. Give this place a shot and you won't be disappointed! Thank you Cindy! Matt with Rodent RoundUp!

Heaven Milkshake, Strawberry Milk Tea

I would 100% recommend this place, good boba and great service. The lady who helped us was fast in making the drinks while also providing good service. I recommend trying this place. Heaven milkshake is like peanut butter with chocolate but not overwhelming. Great taste. Strawberry Milk tea is great as well, perfect amount of sweetness.

Lychee sugarcane
Lexi R.

I ordered the lychee sugarcane with boba. It's $7 for the drink, and $.50 for Honey Boba. Total after tax, came out to $8.20. Cost is pretty fair for sugarcane when compared to other spots that offer it! And there really aren't too many places that have sugarcane juice, so I'm stoked that snow boba does. The drink itself was so delicious and refreshing! Especially on a hot spring day. The lychee flavor really comes through in the drink too. I was impressed with the quality of the boba as well! It's so soft and seems freshly made! I'll definitely be back!

MARINANNESSS

The owner is so adorable. Come support this small business! There's MARIANNES ICE CREAM!!? and nuoc mia/sugarcane juice freshly made!!!! Ordered: (4.5/5) Lychee Tea w boba: I'm not a big fan of the lychee flavor, but yompz partner loved it and it was refreshing. So recommended if you like lychee! (5/5) Marianne's Ice cream: Love that they have marianne's ice cream. If they had green tea and coffee flavor, the whole tub would be gone for sure! 1020 was good too tho. You could order at the kiosk or at the cashier! Owner was a boba connoisseur and told me how she makes the perfect boba and how other stores don't make it as good LOL I cant disagree tho bc the boba was really good! Im not even a topping person but I tried it anyway and I liked it :) Would definitely try other ice cream flavors and the sugar cane drink :) Hard to find in this area so I'll be back to support.

Tea drinks

We stopped by Snow Boba today, which has been open for only a few weeks. There are a variety of drinks here. Looking at the ordering system, we were a bit confused with the limited options for sweetness. It will be nice to select 50% or 30% for less sweet in the future. Currently, the only less sweet option is 80%. I decided to go with the green guava tea with less sweet. The drinks were made fairly quickly. The green guava tea was refreshing, but it was bit too sweet for me. I also tried the black milk tea, which was just ok. It was missing something flavor wise, so I probably won't order that again. The milk tea was lacking tea flavor. Overall, service was really nice and friendly here.

Kumquat Sugarcane (Nước Mía Tắc)

Fresh pressed sugarcane (nước mía)! I actually had no idea they sold it here. I just happened to be in the shopping center and needing something to drink. I'm happy I can get some without having to adventure into Vietnam Town or down Tully Road. I recommend kumquat sugarcane (mía tắc), the light sourness of the kumquat goes great with the natural sweetness of the sugarcane. Very refreshing on a hot day!

Thai tea with honey boba and grapefruit tea with lychee jelly.

Love that this local ice cream and boba place is revamped. The interior is open and clean. You order directly at one of two kiosks and then can sit either inside or outside. We got Thai tea honey boba and the grapefruit tea with lychee jelly. Both were huge cups for the price and when you choose less sweet it really is less sweet but somehow still just as flavorful. Both were delicious and would order again. The ice cream is Marianne's from Santa Cruz so yum and they sizing is generous as well. The owners are super duper nice. Please support!

This place is so amazing! The owner is here working and she is super friendly and definitely generous when severing ice cream from Marianne's Ice cream! The root beer is the best flavor and I have came here a few times now and the place is always very clean and looks great inside! The sugar cane drinks are my favorite!

Came at 1pm on a Wednesday and it wasn't busy at all. Was helped out immediately and drinks were great! Ordered the sugarcane, kumquat sugarcane, and lychee green tea with honey boba. All were tasty. Definitely coming back when in the area.

Kumquat Sugarcane
Ellery D.

The owner (lady) was the first to introduce Kumquat Sugarcane to me and my husband. Eventually became a habit of going here and getting our drinks while we wait for our kids. You order on their ipad and pay through the front. 2 kumquat sugarcane cost about $13 plus. They also have different bobas and Marianne's icecream which is really good. Plenty of tables and chairs. Owners are very nice. You can tell they value customers.

Went in hoping to get delicious boba. Came out disappointed. Extremely overrated. Half of the store was used as a storage unit. Appliances and windows on ice cream display case were grimy. Shaker and pitchers used to mix the teas were disgusting. Toppings they probably use on ice cream were filthy. Even the stand and napkin dispensers were gross. Wished I would've checked the place out more before ordering, otherwise I would've never got anything from this nauseating spot. The drinks themselves were below par. Coconut shake had no flavor to it. Tasted like milk with tapioca. No coconut whatsoever. Brown sugar milk tea was mediocre. Asked for extra sweet, did not get that. Tasted like plain milk and brownsugar. $14.22 for both drinks. Only thing this place had going was the texture of the honey tapioca. Plenty of other places to get boba in San José, but this one. Would NOT return.

I can see why this place is rated very highly Bro and I have been here five times in the past year and the owner is super nice first time around let us sample some of the ice cream flavors maybe pricey but simply delicious. Snow Boba is located on Snell Avenue right off Blossom Valley at the Nob Hill Shopping Center ample parking with several restaurants, nail salon, liquor store and of course there's Starbucks for those early risers.. Bro and I came by this afternoon placed our orders using one of two self serving kiosk machines or go on line whichever is more convenience and by the way they don't accept cash payable by credit/debit card only. I chose the passion fruit regular ice less and Bro had the grapefruit tea regular ice less sweetness both were price at $5 each regular size far cheaper than its competitors. Definitely on my list their drinks are so refreshing even with less sweetness.

Soursop sugarcane
Michelle N.

Even though you order on the tablets, you pay with an employee at the counter. I got the soursop sugarcane drink which was good, the soursop wasn't too strong. The matcha and honeydew were alright drinks. The strawberry milk tea was very underwhelming, it tasted like a berry tea bag that was just steeped. The kumquat and soursop sugarcane drinks were definitely the winners. The boba itself was good and the staff was very friendly.

Overall: 7 Leaves has become my reliable spot for…read moreconsistently high quality drinks and quick service, plus it's such a cute, comfy, and spacious place to study well into the evening! Drinks: I've tried several of their teas, all of which are rich in flavor. My favorite is the Assam milk tea, which is earthy, creamy, and has probably the strongest tea flavor out of all the ones I've tried. If I'm feeling a sweeter drink, I get the Love Cream (their famous Jasmine milk tea with caramel and sea cream, and I add boba of course); I don't love overly floral drinks and their Jasmine milk tea is just right. Their coffee is STRONG, and maybe I'm more caffeine-sensitive than I'd like to admit, but the Tiger drink (another secret menu item that's half house coffee and half Thai tea) is perfectly balanced! Other tips: - Get the app to earn rewards and browse some secret menu drinks on there. I've learned that ordering on the app is so much quicker since employees don't typically stay at the register + super easy pickup mini-fridge near the counter. - I've studied for loooong hours here, like many others, with no problem at all as long as you don't mind busier environments. It's well-lit, has 2 private bathrooms that are relatively well maintained, fast Wi-Fi, adequate parking spots, and they recently added a little water dispenser station if needed lol. - If you don't BYO snacks, they have a limited but decent selection of pastries and macarons. - Sit at the tables/booth seats opposite to the entrance doors for easy access to outlets. - Peak times depend on the day, but I'd say it generally gets super busy and loud around 3-5pm.

Slightly my fault for coming ~50 minutes before close since I know it's usually a time that most smaller boba shops don't have fresh boba, but, as usual, old soggy-ish boba sucks. Banana cream/topping actually pretty solid, matches similar flavors from some of my other favorite banana matcha spots like Aroma/Haiku. Matcha itself, kind of a bit weaker which was not as fun. So I appreciate, not being hounded with 90% ice and 10% drink, but there needs to be a balance, as the drink basically came lukewarm with no ice to help it cool down into a nicer temperature to drink. Ambiance is a bit nicer/more modern than what Tleaf Teapresso had, although that may just be due to the holiday decor. Pricing is a bit high, although the sizing does match the pricing a bit nicer than most spots so this is a hit or miss for me. Overall I think it's just a matter of trying them out at a better time that they have fresher ingredients.
