Not many places that make decorative ice cream and MomaCaDo has been a hit with my kids. When they opened a couple months ago I was ecstatic that they had taiyaki fish (red bean, Nutella, custard) but as of mid April, they stopped selling these. Instead they have started selling popcorn chicken which looks good but haven't tried yet (I'm still heartbroken, lol). Very novelty ice cream designs and they PACK the ice cream into a dense scoop.

My son is obsessed with this place because they add the cute details to things and was begging to come back. I figured after seeing other reviews, maybe it was just the stuff we'd ordered last time that wasn't very good. So we tried again. My son got the pikachu ice cream this time. Super cute. But you are definitely paying for the decor because there is nothing special about the little scoop of chocolate ice cream except for the cute edible decorations they add on. This time I opted for the mint milk tea. It's basically the same as the rose tea- a bunch of food coloring to make it look pretty, but no flavor. There is NO mint flavor or tea flavor at all. It just tastes like watered down milk. And I was annoyed that I asked for 50% ice and they stiff filled it 100% with ice. I didn't realize it was my drink they were working on until they put the lid on and called my name but I literally watched them fill it to the very top all the way with ice.

It seems to be a newly opened shop. When I passed by, I was instantly drawn to the cute ice cream designs. They offer a variety of cartoon-themed ice creams, and I chose the Kitty design with ube flavor. I was very satisfied--the appearance was adorable, the texture was smooth, and the ube flavor was rich. I'll definitely come back next time to try their drinks and other ice cream flavors!

Not sure if this place is new or I've just been passing it by whenever I've comed to the mall. They have such a cute vibe going on, from their artsy figuring ice creams to their drinks. I got their strawberry lemonade with strawberry heart shaped jelly and my daughter got a mango lemonade with mango jelly, both were so good. A little too sweet, but that was my fault I should have adjusted the sweetness level, I couldn't get over the heart shaped jelly they were too cute and delicious. I definitely wanna come back again to try their ice scream and milk teas.

Amazing value banh mis! Really enjoyed our $6 sandwiches…read more Shredded chicken was okay. Just tasted like rotisserie chicken, which isn't objectively bad, but I prefer like grilled chicken thighs rather than shredded meat. Grilled pork was good--very sweet and flavorful. Liked the deluxe ham combo banh mi the best! Really loaded and super flavorful. Pate is good. Toppings plentiful. Bread was perfectly toasted and tasted great. Other prepared foods looked good as well--would love to try in the future. Really nice ladies working inside. Huge parking lot, so parking was super easy. Would defo come again for the banh mi!

Looking for a low carb snack with bold flavors that makes your tastebuds explode?…read more Nem Chua Fermented pork or beef with sugar and spices producing a distinctively sour flavor with pungent raw garlic, spicy floral peppercorns, and fiery chili. It has a satisfying bouncy texture woven in with gelatinous pork skin. I prefer the pork for its milder meaty flavor. Best enjoyed with beer, you eat it as is. Can be kept in the fridge for up to a week. Be careful about 'em bird eye chilies tho. I got several seeds on my lips...causing it to swell like Darcy's duck lips. If you need to temporary *plump* your lips...now you know. The nem chua are available in packs of 8, pork ($15) or beef ($16): https://tinyurl.com/tvbcr24e Don't sleep on their pâté chaud, a Vietnamese pastry: https://tinyurl.com/tpj7bt57 Shatteringly crispy on the outside (puff pastry) with a deliciously savory pork and chicken meatball filling. The filling is generous compared to than other places. They come in mini ($2 each) or regular size ($3 each). Bonus points for accepting CC's ($10 minimum) and the staff (uncles and aunties) are super sweet. Offering sample of their mung bean pandan milk tea and the young lady providing a bag of ice for drive back home to the city to keep the nem chua cold. Next time, I'm bringing a cooler!
