After eating lunch next door, I stopped in to get a fruit tea. This is my first time at this location. I have had happy lemon before and knew exactly what I wanted to order. I was warmly greeted when I entered. There were a few customers enjoying their orders at the tables inside. There was only one employee working inside. The employee asked if I needed more time but I was ready. I ordered the grapefruit green tea with 25% sweetness and 25% ice. I found a place to sit and waited. It's very nice inside with their mission statement and 100% satisfaction guarantee, printed on the wall. My order was ready in 5 minutes. I grabbed a straw and headed out to my next destination. My tea was very cold, delicious and refreshing. There are actual pieces of ruby red grapefruit inside. It tasted exactly like the one I had a few days ago at another location. They are definitely consistent with their quality, which is really great. I will definitely be back for more.

This is one of the more convenient Happy Lemon locations for me. Parking is usually easy to find, and I can get in and out pretty quickly. My go-to order is the A1 green tea with salted cheese, less ice and less sweetness. I was pleasantly surprised by how generous they were with the salted cheese, definitely a plus since it's my favorite part. One thing I really like about Happy Lemon drinks is that they still taste good even the next day or two. Since I'm sensitive to caffeine, I rarely finish my drink in one go, so it's nice that I can enjoy it over time. Service here is fairly quick and the shop is on the smaller side but definitely the one that I frequent.

Came here after Paik's noodles next door for dessert. Drinks are good but don't really blow your mind. They've expanded their menu quite a bit since the last time I was here a while back with matchas, different popcorn chicken, winter melon drinks. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Green Tea - tasted mostly of tea with a hint of lemon. Would have loved more of that fresh squeeze. Tea flavor is that familiar jasmine tea flavor you get at chain boba shops. They're the OG cheese cream people in the bay. I'd say, if you're into salted cheese cream they're pretty good!

Very refreshing , not too sweet just perfect , especially on a hot summer day! Go with the A8 never fails !

Food and drinks is on par with other Happy Lemon franchise stores. However, this is the only place I have been to that charges $1.25 for a 2oz container of sweet and sour sauce to eat with their popcorn chicken. Would come back if they stoped nickel and diming their patrons.

Have come back to this location at least 3-4 dozen more times simply because my husband works around the corner and it just continues to disappoint. I love Happy Lemon as a chain, but it is this specific location that is just awful. Tonight, I ordered a milk tea with extra boba with 0% sugar. I saw the worker pour a double batch of milk tea into 2 different cups...1 being the cup that was given to me and the other was what looked like an oreo puff cream milk tea. What are the chances that an oreo milk tea with puff cream would also have 0% sugar? I had my suspicions that the worker messed up my drink and poured sweetened milk tea into my boba cup, so I tasted it and was correct. It tasted 100% sweet so I went and told one of the workers and she questioned me as if I was lying and proceeded to ask the guy in vietnamese if he poured the milk tea from the short shaker or the tall shaker into my boba cup. When he said that he poured in milk tea from the tall one, instead of just making me a fresh drink like any other location would do especially when they made a mistake, she proceeded to peel open the cup, dump the tea from the cup to "save" the boba and poured new milk tea in and handed me a super sticky cup of heavily iced super sweet milk tea with boba (residual sugar from the milk tea in the cup). I never got an apology or anything, but more like I was inconveniencing her for asking her to remake my drink. Talk about rude!

Kaitlyn is such a wonderful person and helped me when I didn't know what to order and when I was struggling to find something I liked. She was so kind and patient and the drinks were great!

If you're happy and you know it, Yelp - you can! Happy Lemon is a chain that has been impressing me for almost eight years. I normally stop by their original San Jose shop, but I found myself closer to here and decided to give it a try. I do have some of their locations near where I live these days, but those don't offer the whole blended lemon series. I reactivated my Happy Lemon app and ordered a B1. Fresh Lemon Green Tea ($6.75), then drove over here from my prior stop. My drink was ready by the time I arrived, and fortunately there wasn't a wait at the counter at all. The whole blended lemon is great since you get all the complexities of the rind as well as the flesh. There is an exquisite, even masochistic pleasure in sipping this drink at a 25% sugar level. There is just enough sugar to tone down some of the bitterness from the tea and lemon, but it leaves you wanting to sip more anyway. Sure, 50% would have been more fun, but taking small sips - no thanks to the employee who handed me a giant straw - allowed me to keep the drink going for hours. I'm not sure that they actually fulfilled my 25% ice customization, but I'll give them a pass this time. Happy Lemon offers a unique, delicious lemon tea and also has a capable lineup of other drinks typical of bubble tea places. I will be happy to support them as long as they stay open somewhere accessible to me.

My go-to place in San Jose for boba! We order from the app every weekend. Their squeezed lemon teas are SO good, I also love their strawberry green tea, milk tea and matcha latte with salted cheese. Service is fine. I keep coming back! My kids also love their bubble waffles

This is my go to spot! I love happy lemon ! Customer service is always on point there sweet ! It's with in a plaza so there's plenty of parking around ! There's couple of tables to set and wait or to enjoy your drink and talk with your friend or whomever ! Definitely recommend!

They press their sugarcane and juices fresh-to-order, with different combinations of fresh juices that you can try. I prefer the #4, which is made with half fresh young coconut juice & includes the coconut meat to enjoy. My partner loves the #5, made with pineapple juice. Order at the counter & wait for your number to be called to get your drinks or desserts. No frills & straight to the point. There are seats available, both inside & outside for you to enjoy while you sip on your juice or enjoy a dessert. The waffles are also incredible & made with fresh ingredients. You can see specks of strawberry in the strawberry waffle if you look closely! I believe they are mochi waffles -- soft on the inside, slightly chewy, with a nice crust on the outside. We're tried the taro, pandan, & strawberry (durian is not my thing but I would be willing to try it, considering how fresh their products are) -- all of them are delicious!! Strawberry probably has to be my favorite flavor so far. Check them out next time you're in Little Saigon!

The kumquat in the drink was extremely weak, so my boyfriend asked the cashier for extra kumquat. Surprisingly, she gave him the entire unopened kumquat and added it to the drink. He returned to the tables to inform me about this, but he also mentioned that the cashier gave him an annoyed expression. I had to bite into the kumquat and squeeze it into the drink. He then returned to complain about the cashier's attitude towards the customer. It was completely unacceptable. She responded with, "What do you want me to do?" I was so upset that I almost stepped in to ask the owner or manager to address the poor customer service. This is zero hospitality, and I will never be a returning customer, regardless of the price. I would much rather go to Tully Square for cheaper nước mía with better customer service.

Pastries and breads are often not uniform in size. Pastries that come out smaller or torn, damaged still get selected to be sold to customers instead of seen as a quality defect and pulled. In comparison to premium bakeries in SF, Palo Alto, or even Los Gatos, this was disappointing. I would think it would be better to pull the one or two pastries in that tray. Heck, even Paris Baguette would pull whole trays if it didn't fit their quality standard. (But I don't know if that's still true haha.) Given its premium pricing of $8-15 a pastry, I would expect all the qualities that would justify it. They are a step above bakeries who have frozen products, but do not hit the level of premium in quality of pastry. The prices they had in the beginning were fair, but with the recent increase along with those issues, I'm sad to rate it lower.

After reading through some reviews, I decided to order the bone marrow fried rice, and this was easily the highlight. I'd definitely order it again next time. It came with a generously sized bone marrow bone with plenty of marrow inside. I immediately scooped it all out, broke it up, and mixed it into the fried rice, which made every bite incredibly rich, savory, and indulgent in the best way possible. Their take on bò né, on the other hand, could be a hit or miss depending on your expectations. Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me. I appreciate the creativity behind their fusion version, but I didn't feel like the changes necessarily elevated the original dish. The meat also wasn't as tender or juicy as I would've liked. It wasn't a terrible dish by any means, but despite how interesting and tasty it looks in photos, it's probably not something I'd recommend or order again. Overall, I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. They offer a lot of unique and creative dishes that you don't typically see elsewhere, and the bone marrow fried rice alone was good enough to make me want to return. Next time, I'd skip the bò né and use the stomach space to try a few more of their specialties!
