Tacos de Lengua y carne asada

Cute lil spot for a carne asada taco with grilled onions and jalapeños. Friendly staff Warm for pita for a breezy night

    Hours of operation

We ordered the chile verde chilaquiles with chorizo and egg. I hate when they are soggy, but these have a nice crunch. The portions are great. You definitely get what you pay for. The Al pastor torta has a sweet pineapple flavor that makes it so good. I also enjoyed the green avocado salsa. Watermelon agua fresca was made to order and refreshing. I highly recommend trying this place.!!! They accept Cash and Zelle

Taco spot is good. Tortillas echas a mano. Asada and al pastor was on spot. Plate comes with tacos and sautéed onions. Delicious!

Order Window with chairs and fireplace out front.

It's clean and has a lot more space than the truck. Food might take longer because of the demanding service. Fried chicken is always consistent and leaves little room for improvement. This is always going to be a daily for me and I will continue to forever attend this place when I'm craving fried chicken.

First the good, Your favorites are still there and are just as good served across a counter as they were handed down from a food truck window. We split their sliders with Louisiana Rub and fries and loved them as we always have. Secondly, it was a bit slow on this Thursday night. I believe Jojo's Kooser road customers haven't found their new home. Third, some thoughts on the location. It's clean but utilitarian and basic. I'd love to see it get a little soul and perhaps provide more of a nod to the food truck past. Maybe also expand the menu with the larger kitchen? Jojo's still has the sandwiches we love and it will be fun to watch it grow into its new space. (Loved the Jeremiah and Corinthians references too. Appropriately hopeful)

This place is for eating there only. They have benches. Sunny and Love both were awesome. I ordered Chole Kulcha, Chili Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chap, Roomali Roti; Chole Kulcha- I don't have to eat Chole with it. Kulcha itself was very good, crispy and filled with masala. 5 star Chili Chicken- Quality of chicken matters the most. It was very good. 5 star Tandoori Chicken- Quality was great. Juicy, need to eat there only. 5 Star Chap- Need to eat right away. Don't let it wait otherwise it will loose its texture and taste. Taste when it is hot, good mixture of spices and chutneys with it. Onion enhances the flavor of it. 5 Star Roomali Roti- probably the best Roomali roti. Does not matter where they make it. They put butter on it. It does not get chewy or gets dry. 5 Star Sunny and Love they work hard to make it happen. Kudos to them. Noticed, while I was dining, two people came in and expected them to deliver right away and they left. Guys, give them a break, Truck opens at 4:00pm they have to set up the Tandoor it takes time atleast 45 min. To warm up. You can't expect to serve tandoori items right away.

It was pretty calm during the day and didn't seem to get a crazy amount of foot traffic, which I actually enjoyed because we were able to sit down, relax, eat, and enjoy the atmosphere without it feeling crowded. Between our food and drinks we spent around $46, so I would say it's moderately pricey, but everything we had was good. I had a birria taco from Mi Lindo Apatzingán, my husband got four tacos, and we also got rice and beans that we really enjoyed. Our food came out pretty quickly, definitely in less than 10 minutes. We also got sour apple drinks from Las Cherry's. The drinks took a little longer, over 10 minutes, but there was only one girl working at the time, so it was completely understandable. The drinks were refreshing and I definitely want to come back and try more of what Las Cherry's has to offer. I really like the whole concept here because there are so many different food trucks in one place. There's plenty of covered outdoor seating, TVs to watch while you eat, and colorful decorations that make it a fun but still calm and chill place to hang out. Even with some of the trucks being closed, there were still plenty of options. I would definitely come back, especially to try more from Las Cherry's and the potato food truck that caught my eye!

Before any of these food trucks became popular, we'd always refer to these trucks as "Roach…read moreCoaches!" Do any of you remember that? Whenever I'd hear about a food truck back in the day, the first thing that would come to mind is prepackaged food. However, those days are long gone! These food trucks are now capable of whipping up gourmet meals that could potentially rival any local sit down restaurant. At this particular location, the trucks only come out on Friday night, with 9-11 different trucks to choose from. They also provide live music and fun games for the family. They do provide 5 gallon buckets that are used for seats, and a couple of planks/boards that can be used as tables while you are scarfing down your food. Some folks just bring their own chairs, as those buckets eventually make your ass pretty sore. These are the trucks that will be here on Friday 10/30/15 333 Truck Chairman Truck Fairycakes Gold Rush Eatery Oh Miso Hungry Sam's Chowdermobile Sanguchon Treatbot Waffle Amore As you can see, it is pretty diverse. From a cupcake to a lobster roll, take your pick! Side note: If you plan on staying for a few hours, bring your own chairs! Your ass will thank you later. Conclusion: Who wants to keep track of where a certain food truck is going to be next week at 11:30 AM on Wednesday? Show up on a Friday night and you can treat yourself to about 10 trucks at once. It doesn't get any better than that. ***Minus 1 Star for some of the ridiculous prices***

Definitely get their chicken kebab plate and Birria tacos! I've seen this place around for years taking over the old Jack in the Box on Cottle, expecting this place to be mediocre at best but after finally trying it out for years, I definitely changed my mind about Asi's! Asi is literally the first Mexican-Middle Eastern place that I've been where you have your typical tacos, burritos, and soups but as well as kebabs, hummus, and etc that you'd never expect to intertwine but surprisingly, they mixed together perfectly. You get all of the great flavors in each culture together in a blend of colors and flavors that compliment each other and we got the chicken kebab, the 3 birria tacos, fish tacos, and the pazole verde. The soup was massive for 1 person to eat but defintely what you'd expect for pazole, the birria were 3 mini tacos but were perfect as well, fish tacos were decent and a little dry, and the chicken kebab was perfectly grilled and flavorful. Wait time here can be busy which was also surprising to me and was around 10 minute for everything to come out. All the staff were very friendly and the price point here I have to say is average, not cheap but not a rip off neither. The first Mexican-Middle Eastern place I've been to, Asi's has gone beyond my expectation and served excellent food here. Come here for lunch or dinner and you'll be leaving with a great filling meal, I'll be back for more!
