We have always seened this place when we exit the freeway. There is ample amount of parking but it's so crowded here. The lines are pretty long and the wait is sometimes forever. There are a variety of trucks to choose from, some sweet some soupy and some in a rice bowl. At this one they have heat lamps and buckets to sit on. You usually don't find a bucket because people use them as tables instead of letting others sit. I really like the one in Milpitas better than this one.

I remember long time ago when Moveable Feast was only just once a week, like on a Saturday night next to San Pedro Square. It's fantastic that now it's every day of the week, in a different location - including south sJ on Mondays, willow glen on Fridays, and west sJ on Sundays. While chasing after trucks is fun, it is so convenient when they are all in one spot for a couple of hours. There's always such a variety of trucks that there's got to be something you're in the mood for! Grilled cheese sammies (grilled cheese bandits, melts my heart), korean fusion (koja kitchen, mogo bbq), ice cream! (treatbot!), pork belly buns (chairman bao!!). willow glen has the most trucks, but it also has the biggest crowds. the MF at garden city is closest to me and has maybe five or six trucks, but it's less crowded. Check out MF's facebook page to see which food trucks are going to be at each location - then you can decide whether to check it. Technology! food trucks are so much fun. it's always cool to see how creative these trucks can get, from their menu to the design of their trucks to their name. also, the red bucket chairs are cute! some trucks take credit card but make sure to bring plenty of cash with you (though the garden city one is in the same plaza as a bank of the west).

Attended the Moveable Feast on Friday this week. It was a lil chilly but still a fun event. The band playing had everyone dancing. They were really fun and interacted with the audience. Being Cinco de Mayo we had tacos, my son had a Plain Jane hot dog from The Road Dog, he had plain tots too. The quality of the hot dog and tots was great and delicious. We went back and got tots smothered in jalapeño cheese and jalapeños. Omg they were to die for. Not heathy at all but definitely a must try. We also tried the grilled cheese truck, pretty good- but has nothing on the Don's Deli: grilled cheese American and mozzarella on asiago bread. Phenom! The community of people were very family oriented and it was really nice for my son.

We loved our sushi rolls! I recommend the dragon roll in particular. From the madd Mex cabtina we got the most delicious carne asada fries!! I Highly recommend their fries.

Before any of these food trucks became popular, we'd always refer to these trucks as "Roach Coaches!" Do any of you remember that? Whenever I'd hear about a food truck back in the day, the first thing that would come to mind is prepackaged food. However, those days are long gone! These food trucks are now capable of whipping up gourmet meals that could potentially rival any local sit down restaurant. At this particular location, the trucks only come out on Friday night, with 9-11 different trucks to choose from. They also provide live music and fun games for the family. They do provide 5 gallon buckets that are used for seats, and a couple of planks/boards that can be used as tables while you are scarfing down your food. Some folks just bring their own chairs, as those buckets eventually make your ass pretty sore. These are the trucks that will be here on Friday 10/30/15 333 Truck Chairman Truck Fairycakes Gold Rush Eatery Oh Miso Hungry Sam's Chowdermobile Sanguchon Treatbot Waffle Amore As you can see, it is pretty diverse. From a cupcake to a lobster roll, take your pick! Side note: If you plan on staying for a few hours, bring your own chairs! Your ass will thank you later. Conclusion: Who wants to keep track of where a certain food truck is going to be next week at 11:30 AM on Wednesday? Show up on a Friday night and you can treat yourself to about 10 trucks at once. It doesn't get any better than that. ***Minus 1 Star for some of the ridiculous prices***

The newest location for Moveable Feast to come! Their soft opening will be Friday, February 10th, from 5PM to 9PM. Here are the trucks scheduled to come as of right now: SAVORY Chairman - Baos Curry Up Now - Indian Grill Stars - BBQ Hiyaaa - Korean KoJa Kitchen - Korean/Japanese Louisiana Territory - Cajun MoGo BBQ - Korean/Mexican O Mi Ninja - Vietnamese Sanguchon - Peruvian Wow - Silogs SWEET Project Cupcake - Cupcakes Scoops - Ice Cream Looks like there's going to be a good turn out of trucks! Some of these trucks are coming all the way from San Francisco! If you miss the soft opening, they should be here every Friday night from 5PM to 9PM. I can't wait! =)

My momma always told me not to eat anything that come from a food truck, you don't know if the people making the food have washed their hands, plus you don't know if they are using sanitary procedures to cook the food, etc....I told my mom, well you don't know those things even when you go out to eat at a restaurant either, plus moms I live by YOLO and all the cool kids be eating off of food trucks these days!?!....Anywho let's breakdown the Willow Glen Moveable Feast. Time: 5-9 every Friday Location: Hop off 87 South (you can see the trucks lined up from the freeway) exit Curtner Ave and turn right at the stoplight after exiting. Go down Curtner and it will be on your left. Parking: Unlimited Free Parking at the VTA Station Seating Area: They have 300-400 buckets there that you can flip over and use as a seat. Food: They have anywhere from 10-14 trucks there every week just checkout their FB Page to see who is coming every Friday as truck vendors often change every week. Prices: anywhere from $4-9 for food and anywhere from $1-5 for desserts My Favs: Pork Belly Bun, Lobster Roll from Sam's Chowderbowl, and Salted Carmel Cupcake from FairyCakes. So if you dining the ladies out at fancy-smancy restaurants every Friday Night, I'd switch it up and give the Willow Glen Moveable Feast a try, live music, great atmosphere, and good food yo!

Garlic noodles from An the Go... And a pork belly steamed bao sandwich from "The Chairman" - taken 5.11.12

Nice to have a weekly food truck stop every Friday... and in MY CITY!!! Even better. Wasn't that hungry when I got here so I shared some food with the hubby. We got garlic noodles and beef skewer from An-The-Go. The garlic noodles were good, yes, but the price was ridiculous for what it costs to make the damn thing. It was like $7 for the garlic noodles alone and $9 for garlic noodles plus a skewer of your choice (choose between pork, beef, and chicken). We also tried the Chairman's Pork Belly Bao. They were out of the baked buns so we had to settle for a steamed one. I didn't like the steamed one that much, but hubby did. Next time I'll def make sure I order a baked bun! Can't wait to come back and try the other trucks!!!

Moveable feast is awesome! Ive been several times now and it had never disappointed. Where else can you try so many different foods with so many different people? The variety is awesome, the wait is worth it. Plenty of parking. I've never had an issue finding a spot to park. People being out their classic cars and hot rods. I've never felt unsafe. Seating is limited once it gets crowded, but most of the food if not all is made so it's easy to eat standing. You can also bring chairs and make your own picnic spot! I drive up from Gilroy and never hesitate to do so because I know there's good food when I arrive

Yesss!! My prayers have finally been answered! Food trucks right by work every Friday?! What a perfect way to celebrate the weekend! I'm so thankful a couple of the amazing SF food trucks stop by this location, like Chairman Bao and Curry Up Now. All I can say is, try everything! I'm in love with Curry Up Now (chicken tikka masala burritos) and Chairman Bao (grilled chicken buns). They'll be here every Friday night! Come early, as lines can get long.

Since Mozilla moved into this complex the food trucks that pas through have changed a bit. Moveable Feast seems to decided a weekly lunch was in order. Theyve been pulling in about 3 trucks for each session so it's not too large. If you're tired of the downtown selections on thursdays you can always trot a little bit west and find some rotating fare.

Food truck Fridays! One stop shop to some of the best food trucks and good clean fun. This review is for The Chairman, the big red truck with the panda. Their steamed Pork Belly Bao with pickled radish. OH-em-GEE is like the best creation in the food heavens! Soft warm buns... sweet and tart pickles and crispy, tender, fatty and juicy roasted pork. I think YES! $3.75 a each, my taste buds say yes but my wallet is saying ouch. Oh well, it is that good, let the lines speak... but let the buns speak louder! I will be back.

I arrived around…read more5:45 and there were six trucks parked there: Fairycakes, Road Dogs, Treatbot, Rib Whip, Blastoff!, and Grilled Cheese Bandits. These trucks are pretty much the same ones we see at the Willow Glen Moveable Feast on Fridays, but the best part tonight was that there were very few people there. Maybe it's because I was a little early and it wasn't the dinner rush yet. Or maybe not many people know about it just yet since this the first dinner launch at this site. Either way, I loved it! No lines! I ordered Kamikazi tots from Road Dogs and I loved the sauce and toppings covering the crispy tater tots. There were shredded seaweed, bacon bits, sauteed onions, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and crisscross drizzles of Japanese mayo, Sriracha, and teriyaki sauce. The different flavors made the tater tots stand out and taste amazing. A little pricy since it was $6 for a small tray, but still yummy. My cousin ordered a salted caramel cupcake from Fairycakes. I had a few bites and I thought that was delicious too. The cake part was moist and the perfect level of sweetness. The frosting was vanilla-y, definitely sweeter than the cake, and has a drizzle of caramel on top. I didn't quite taste the "salted" part, but delicious all the same. I'll definitely return to this site. Now, I have two places I can go to when I want food truck dinner: Willow Glen on Fridays and Capital on Saturdays.

While the food eventually arrived, the experience leading up to and during the event was fraught with unnecessary stress. Initial communication was great, but it trailed off as we got closer to the date. Despite their "quick response" phone number, my calls and texts went completely ignored. To make matters worse, the voicemail changed from a personal greeting to a generic one 72 hours before my event, leaving me terrified that we had been scammed. We increased our headcount from 65 to 75 a week prior. After being told this was fine, I was sent an incorrect invoice that ignored the new guest count and asked for a second $300 deposit I had already paid. It took multiple follow-up emails just to get a confirmation on the final numbers. On the day of, the staff arrived promptly and set up on time. However, only 30 minutes into service--with only 30 of our 75 guests fed--they completely ran out of cilantro, onions, and grilled peppers. When I followed up the next day, they claimed they prepared for "70 guests." Even if that were true, it wasn't the 75 we paid for, and it certainly doesn't explain running out of basic toppings after 30 people. I'm incredibly glad we didn't use them for our wedding last year as originally planned. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the reputation. 2 stars for due prompt service and the guests that got all the food really enjoyed the steak & shrimp.
