    Butter chicken

This food truck is located at America's Best Value Inn parking lot in Milpitas. I ordered via uber eats and picked up a late dinner this past Sunday. Street parking was available, no problem. There were a few tables set up next to the food truck, nothing fancy, but nice to have the option to dine on site, weather permitting. Service was standard, not much communication there. I got the butter chicken and butter naan. The naan was thin and seemingly plain. The butter chicken was a small dish with more sauce and less chicken, but it had a nice balance of sweet and spicy (a low level of spiciness, but I prefer it that way). The chicken was on the dry side but I still enjoyed the grilled flavor, and mixed with the sauce it made for a delicious meal.

We recently moved to the area and noticed this food truck that's always parked at the 711 on Abbott at night. After continuously seeing it almost every night for a month, I decided I would try it. Unfortunately we don't eat a lot of Indian dishes. The main dishes we eat are Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, and Naan. One of my favorite dishes is Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan and I'm glad they had it here. I ordered Butter Chicken, 2 Garlic Naan, and a Mango Lassi. It took a while for it to come out but it was understandable since they had other orders ahead of me. It was nice that they had tables and chairs set up for customers to eat there. After going home and trying what I ordered, I was surprised by how good it was! I've tried other Indian food from food trucks, but they usually aren't as good as restaurants. But Chup Chaap's butter chicken was delicious! It was not too spicy and it was very creamy! The garlic naan was very soft and had a good amount of garlic. I'm a garlic fan, so I kinda wish there was more but it was good enough. The mango lassi was really good as well. It was very thick and the mango was refreshing. One downside is that I didn't see an option for online ordering. I think it would be really helpful for an online ordering option so that I can order ahead of time and pick it up on my way home, but I understand that not all food trucks have the same man power and capabilities as a restaurant. Another downside is the parking. The 711 is in a very small parking lot and the food truck (and their tables and chairs) take up the entire left side of the parking lot. There was a dirt lot next to them where I was able to park, but I noticed today that it was fenced off. So I'm not sure where parking will be now. Overall, I really love their butter chicken and I'm excited to go back and try some new entrees!

Was craving Indian food for some reason. Waited around 30 minutes to get my food and it came out very hot, even after opening it at home. The butter naan was soft and the butter chicken had a decent amount of chicken in it. The amount of gravy provided was also good. Everything tasted good to me but it did take a while for the food to come out and that's kind of a problem when it's night. There are only 2 people in the truck though so it's understandable.

Fire & Fresh, tasting, temperature & spice. Maybe i am able to eat spicier food but my tolerance is pretty low. Takes about 15-25mins for an order but well worth the wait. If you go too late the tandoori & most meats will be sold out. The roti & potato type pancake was very delicious. Honestly the best chicken & chutney I've ever had

Chupchaap miserably succumbed to the hype they've created! A weekend evening could have been managed far better, especially knowing people travel from all over just to try the viral buzz.. the much-talked-about "chaap." Honestly though, it turned out quite mediocre. They are located 9mins from Great Mall, Milpitas in a 7-11 campus. Good parking lot with outdoor seating. We were told the wait time would be 25 minutes, but our food arrived after 45 minutes, and it wasn't even hot. We ordered Malai Soya Chaap, Hariyali Soya Chaap, Amritsari Chole, and Malai Chicken Tikka. Except for the chicken, everything was served cold. Chicken was also just fine. There was hardly any "malai" coating on the chaap, so-called malai was runny and disappointing. The Hariyali Soya Chaap was still decent, but I've definitely had better chaap days. We didn't bother complaining since there were long queues and we were too hungry to show our disappointment. I might give them another shot because for my love for Chaap but definitely not on a weekend.

First of all updated address is 485 S. MAIN ST. In Milpitas not too far from The North part of the Great Mall. I've been wanting to stop by this conveniently located Punjabi food truck ever since I started following them on IG. Their reels make the food look real yummy not gonna lie. It's seems this is their recently changed location with plenty of more room inside America's best value inn a parking lot. Being a Sunday I had the feeling they might close early or closed altogether it NO they were open and it was pretty busy. The area is well lot and on an area of Milpitas strip blvd filled with Indian grocery stores ( NEW INDIA BAZAAR across the street directly )and brick and mortar restaurants so they do have some competition real close. The truck looks like a well oiled machine of customers eating outside at the tables or to go where they pack it in secure containers. The payment machine is tap/insert/swipe options with a tip screen where you can any amt or prefer none too. The menu is clear and simple but doesn't have many pics . They have both veg and non veg options. They open the small screen on one end and not your order give you a tiny pager which buzzes and vibrates with a number and when it s ready you give it to the same window on the right then go to the left window to pickup your order when they open the screened window so simple. I was in and out in 10-15 . It's a safe area . On to the food the Achari Chaap and Papdi chaat both were fire. Prices are reasonable priced, service is awesome. Many hard people working their asses off here. The menu is pretty legit. I can't wait to try the meat choices like the wrap. I love to see food trucks succeed, especially my Punjabi people.

    Useless

i just ordered Malai Chaap from their food truck, but the taste was absolutely disappointing. The presentation was poor as well--the entire box was filled with onions. Just look at the size and quantity of the onions. Considering the price, the actual quantity of food was very small.

Chup chaap recently opened their food truck in Milpitas. Amazing place to eat tandoori items like tandoori chicken, tandoori chaap, and their best selling Amritsari kulcha. If you want to eat authentic Indian punjabi food , go now and try their flavoured full chaap and must try their Amritsari kulcha / chole combination. They have fast and amazing service with enough sitting area to make the ambiance pretty cool.

New food truck serving a unique tandoori and chaap menu! Loved the variety for vegetarians and vegans - got a bunch to try. Tandoori chaap was our favorite, followed by chole. Everything was great! Soft, melt in the mouth, flavorful and delicious. The staff was very kind and service was quick. Great addition to Bay Area food truck scene.

Chup Chaap is a solid food truck for flavorful tandoori items. The lamb chops, kulchas, and kebabs were absolutely delicious, juicy, smoky, and well-seasoned. However, the malai kebab felt a bit undercooked, which took away from an otherwise great experience. Still worth a visit for the bold flavors and great variety.

    Pickle and onions with choke

The new sensation I must say !!! Giving us one of the best punjabi cuisine in Bay Area !!!!! You guys are going to kill it !!!! The Tandoor paneer tikka was perfection cooked with a lot of care ! The classic spicy fusion with tandoor. The panner was soft and fresh, the marination on the paneer is done very well. The tandoori process is also very well articulated when making the whole dish. These Tandoori dishes also take a lot of time to cook at the food truck. The rumali roti is the soft buttery thin piece of bread that slides smooth into your mouth when you have it. The mix of tandoori paneer and rumali roti is a party of flavours. Now let's talk about the winner of the season ! Amritsari kulcha ..... This is by far the best kulcha that you guys in entire Bay Area are going to taste. The kulcha that has a great filling of potatoes and also the kulcha takes a good 25 minutes to get done ! This is garnished with kasuri methi and a dollap of butter. I am not a north Indian but I must say after tasting a lot of traditional food I can say this is the most culturally significant and delicious dish that you can try. The Chole with Amritsari kulcha is the most well done and adequate tasting gravy with Chole. I would like to let anyone one reading this recipe know one thin for sure that Reach the food truck by early hours of the day to get food on time as they are new and also take time to prepare food !!!!! They are new and we understand their pressure of trying to make it into the new market of food truck. All the best !!!!!

Traditional low tables invite you to kick off your shoes and settle onto floor cushions, instantly adding a cozy, almost homestyle feel. What We Ordered * Chicken Mandi - A show-stopping platter of fragrant basmati rice crowned with perfectly roasted chicken. The portion is generous (see photo!) and the spice profile leans savory-warm rather than tongue-scorching, so everyone at the table can dig in. * Mutton Curry - I rarely gamble on mutton when eating out, but this one converted me. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, swimming in a rich, slow-cooked gravy that balanced heat with a gentle hint of clove and cardamom. Absolutely outstanding. Service & Pace There's a sign at the entrance: "This is not fast food. Great taste takes time." Believe it. Dishes are cooked to order, so expect a leisurely wait.
