Food was pretty good and quick . I got the carne asada tacos Needed a quick meal before a concert , I would def. Go again . Service was good

Chicken, steak, pork. Pollo, carne asada, alpastor. The better one of all the meats tried was their chicken.

Found this place via Yelp. I tried three types of meat: grilled chicken, carne asada (steak) and alpastor (pork). Overall it's okay, their salsas could be better but the better taco out of them was the grilled chicken. Grilled chicken 9/10 Carne asada 6/10 -- was over cooked and not fresh. Al pastor 7/10 Would I come back? Maybe just for their chicken tacos. 3.75 stars overall.

    - cash only - limited parking - delicious food & great portions Tasty tacos! They're quite hefty as they're FILLED with meat. Great portions. I got the al pastor tacos and they come with pineapple pieces. Not sure when they close, but I stopped by around 8pm / 9pm and they were open. The taco truck is parked in the 76 gas station. Parking is a bit limited at the gas station itself, but there are a few parking lots nearby.

I pass by this place all the time and never thought much about it, but after checking it out on Yelp, I decided to give it a try. The tlayuda (in the pizza box) was huge and very tasty! The sopes were also very flavorful and everything was fresh. I look forward to coming back to try other dishes.

Tlayudas El Ejuteco is parked in Union 76's corner. it's CASH only. there's a canopy covered table for dining on premises. . not much parking. diverse mexican menu: tacos, burritos, tortas, sopes, tlayudas, huaraches, quesadillas, alambres, choriqueso. didn't see pics but i had a vague idea.... eats: pastor, lengua taco @2.50 -pastor was juicy pieces of meat off a spit with bits of pineapple -lengua was tender bits of beef tongue -green and red salsa provided with garnishes of cilantro, onions, jalepeno slices, radishes, and sour carrots. 4.5 fab value.

    Huge portions. Delicious food.

This is a great taco truck with very generous portions. Definitely give this place a try. Cash only, small parking area. Definitely worth the wait. Thanks

We tried the burrito, taco, and quesadilla, and everything hit the spot. The burrito was loaded with flavorful meat, rice, and beans. The taco was our favorite. it was perfectly seasoned, fresh toppings, and a nice squeeze of lime made it pop. The quesadilla was cheesy and satisfying. Service was quick and the prices are great for the portions. If you're near the gas station, give this place a try!

I hadn't been here for a while but the last few times I went I felt like it wasn't as good as a while back. I really liked how the Al Pastor tacos were made here especially because they had pineapples. But in my recent experiences they seemed to be a little on the drier side and NO PINEAPPLES :'(

Unassuming taco truck in a gas station parking lot I was immediately greeted by the Banda music and lights coming from this truck and it made me want to dance, I had to remember what I came for.. the food. :) Ambiance aside, Al pastor tacos were fabulously seasoned, flavorful, and worth coming back again and again. Burritos also satisfied my palette and I was gleefully surprised that that also grill the outside of the burrito so it gives it that nice crunch when biting into the burrito. I'm a sucker for textures. The one star removed was because they gave me lemon instead of limes. They are not the same! Lol Also wasn't very impressed by their salsa.

Had the Super Burrito Al Pastor ($12). Tender, moist, crispy grilled tortilla. Juicy Pineapple with the Al Pastor. Good balance of ingredients, good amount of meat. Great lunch

The meat vs tortilla ratio was great, although lengua was a little skimp. Meats were tender and cooked well. The salsa portions are small and I would have enjoyed more instead of having to ration my portions but it was still good. 4 stars for my first try with Joe's Taco Shop. Plating was good even in the hectic environment and I really enjoys the grilled onions. Cucumbers- not so much [I thought that was kind of random]. I would absolutely dine here again.

I'm not sure if I completely missed it, but I couldn't find the salsa bar that so many other reviews mention. I checked both the indoor seating area and around the food truck itself, so maybe I was just blind that day. The sauces themselves were honestly really good though, maybe even a little too good because I feel like I drowned out a lot of the actual meat flavor in both the taco and burrito. The orange sauce has a really nice spicy kick that I enjoyed a lot, and the green sauce tasted super fresh and flavorful. They also gave extra grilled onions on the side, which seriously elevated the whole meal for me. Service was pretty quick and everything came out hot and fresh, which I appreciated. I did have a little bit of difficulty communicating with the cashier since there was a slight language barrier and my Spanish is pretty limited, but we still managed to get everything sorted out without too much trouble! I would definitely come again another day for lunch!

I recommend taking the food "for here" if you have some time to spare so you can experiment with their salsas, which are the stars of the show. Just be careful and try not to load the tacos up as much as I did, because the salsas tend toward spicy (my favorite). Don't miss out on their pickled carrots, onions, and jalapeños. All tacos come with grilled onions and lime, which are excellent additions. I tried the Al pastor, asada, carnitas, and chicharrón. My favorite were the carnitas, which were well seasoned and tender. The Al pastor had a good balance of sweetness from the pineapple. The asada was solid. The chicharrón was kind of gelatinous and I didn't enjoy the texture but that's more a stylistic choice than me thinking they were bad.

The taco shell had a great crunch and the birria meat had really good flavor. It also came with extra consommé on the side for dipping, which made it even better. I haven't had a ton of quesabirria, but my first thought after the first bite was basically, "wow, this is the best quesabirria I've had!!" A couple small downsides: the free chips were a bit stale, and they were out of rice on a Sunday around noon. There's plenty of outdoor seating in the gas station parking lot, and the outdoor dining area was fairly clean with some umbrellas for shade. So we decided to get all asada tacos instead. We were picking up a single taco for a friend to try who doesn't like onions, so we asked for 8 tacos with everything (cilantro + onions) and 1 taco with no onions. When we got home and opened the plate, we had 8 tacos total (I checked, and we were only charged for 8), 4 of them were meat only, and the other 4 had only onions. The truck itself was on a nice corner and had a clean setup. There was a small seating area in the back with tables and chairs. The person working the truck was also really nice and friendly, but unfortunately, I don't think you can get an order this wrong. The prices were also hard to find. Tacos - $4.25 Rating: (6/10) Without cilantro, I feel like this taco is already below average. $4.25 per taco is also a bit high for a stand like this, though they do give a large amount of meat. The meat had pretty good flavor and was cooked for just the right amount of time. The green salsa was also really good. The taco shells were way too oily, and, maybe just as a personal preference, I don't enjoy lemons with my tacos ... limes are a must.
