Have had food multiple times here , good ambience but found a piece of plastic in my to-go order of Pav bhaji which ruined it for me.

A tryout place here in Milpitas for Indian Street Food, they had north indian style food, but can be tried once. Tried Pav Bhaji and Vada-Pav, tastes different but was good. Can try once on their Pav Bhaji, will probably try Cheese pav-bhaji next time. The service is quick and easy to order as well, can be ordered online too for pickup. Parking might get tricky especially on weekends. But usually its floating, lucky if you find a spot.

Pretty good for an Indian food truck. Food: Amazing Service: Quick Ambiance: nothing to say as its a food truck Must try: Pav Bhaji: 8/10 Vada Pav: 8/10 Bread Pattice : 9/10 Butter Milk: 9/10

Very good vada pav and misal pav. They have some chairs and tables next to the truck but it can get busy on weekends.

SERVICE - located in a parking lot very close to the intersection of 880 and 237 - do not park in the foster's freeze lot the owner was very rude to us. If there is no parking right next to the truck, use the shopping complex behind - limited outdoor tables with string lights - can get very crowded especially on a Friday evening - order at one window and pick up at a separate window - can be ordered to go or for there - food made very quickly and fresh - workers are straightforward and do not spend a lot of time chatting with customers - no restroom nearby - good for casual dinner MENU - maharashtrian Indian street food - mostly vegetarian with some meat options - well priced ($8 per dish) FOOD - sev batata puri (6/10): Crispy wafer rounds with mashed potato, onion, cilantro, and chickpea flour sev topping. Since we ordered it to go, they did not mix the chutneys into the dish which kept it from getting soggy. It was a good quantity to share between a few people. The potato was cooked well and the spices added a good amount of flavor. - ragda pattice (6/10): 2 potato patties soaked in a yellow pea curry. This is one of my favorite dishes to order from a chaat place since it combines the potato patties and a usually flavorful curry. I had to add quite a bit of both the mint and tamarind chutneys in order to get this one to the level of spice that I typically like. The patties also did not have a crispy crust and almost dissolved into the pea curry. - vada pav (9/10): 2 pieces of fried potato balls in freshly baked bread buns with spicy powder. This was the dish that we were recommended to come and try so naturally we ordered it. It was fantastic and lived up to expectations. The spicy powder adds the right amount of flavor to balance the slightly sweet bread. The potato is not very oily and you can tell that it was freshly made. WOULD I COME BACK? Just to get the vada pav again.

My friend and I stopped here for quick snacks today evening while coming back from Sierra Vista mountains. We had the Vada pav, pani puri and chai. The vada pav was very flavourful, cooked fresh to order and crispy. The star of the dish was definitely the red chutney. Omg it's sooo spicy yet so tasty. All my senses got awakened after taking few bites of this flavour bomb. And the fried chilli on the top. Really good. Must try! Pani puri was alright, they served with ragada.. I liked it as it's a healthier alternative to potato filling. Tasted new. The pani was spicy and flavourful. Definitely want to try out spicy kolhapuri chicken curry and matki ki bhel next time.

I was here with extended family for lunch. My first time here and being a Puneri I was curious. The ambience gives a maharashtrian vibe with the posters of RaniLaxmiBai, Jijamaata, the warli painting, the sketches of pandhari varkari... All that felt nostalgic. The menu card was interesting as it reminded olden days of letters that used to travel across kingdoms. It's a vast menu with appetizers, soups and salads, vegetarian, non-vegetarian and fish items specially coming from Maharashtrian cuisine as well as Malvan/Konkan side of flavors too. I started with sol kadi for a drink, others ordered beer called beera, appetizers we ordered kande bhaji and kothimbirichi vadi - both were very tasty. To be easy we ordered thali - mutton and chicken. The thali comes with rassa which comes from the meat that you chose (chicken or mutton), one veg sabzi on the sides, buttermilk, koshimbir, loncha, papad, chicken/ mutton curry , poli, fresh salad, kothimbir vadi, rice and shrikhand as dessert. It's a complete meal as you can see and was very filling by the time we finished eating shrikhand. If you pay in cash you do get a 5% discount as well. Overall, a great experience. The servers wear an orange vest which reminds you of stories from Shivaji's Darbar , the one thing missing was the topi . I enjoyed it and will definitely want to try other items from their menu. It is spicy so if you love spicy food then you must try and more spicier one is if it's Kolhapuri cuisine. I will recommend it as this is for vegetarians and meat lovers too. They do have a kids menu as well.

Updating my review after recent visit. Absolutely loved the Matki Bhel which is a unique dish I have never seen it anywhere else in Bay Area. It's just like suka Bhel but with Matki (sprouted moth beans). I highly recommend trying this dish. Also tried bread pattice which was delicious and was not oily even though it was deep fried. I will surely return to try even more items from the menu.

    Pav bhaji

Tried their pav bhaji and vada pav, based on a friend's suggestion. I wouldn't recommend pav bhaji at all- it's very watery and oily, you can find way better options on nearby restaurants. Also the price is too high for eating at the food truck. You can get restaurant dine in experience at similar price. Vada pav is good though! Very soft pav. That's way I gave the rating of 3 star. Will try misal pav next time.

    Most disgusting place ever
    Sankit G.

ITS A FRAUD. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND. WOULD GIVE MINUS 5 STAR IF I COULD. I stopped by this place around 9:45 pm of Friday night to get some Pani Puri and Dahi Puri. The chef let the cashier know to verify dishes with him before taking the order and once "availability" was established they took this order. At the end the cashier asked for here or to go, and I SAID FOR HERE, and he charged me for the 2 dishes. As soon as my friend and I turned around to sit on the table, the guy from the food truck shouted rudely that the tables are closed and we cannot sit there and rushed quickly from the truck to table to turn the chairs upside down. THIS WAS THE MOST RIDICULOUS BEHAVIOR I HAVE EVER SEEN FROM A SERVICE INDUSTRY PERSON. IF YOU DONT HAVE WILLINGNESS TO LET THE CUSTOMER SIT AND EAT, LET THEM KNOW BEFOREHAND THAN ACCEPTING ORDER TO CLEAR YOUR LEFTOVERS. There was a mother of 2 sitting on the floor, another couple sitting on the sidewalk. Most disgusting place ever.

As someone who's always on the lookout for authentic North Indian flavors, this place truly impressed me. They serve homestyle Punjabi food, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. We tried the mix paratha, gobhi paratha, Afghani soya chaap, and garlic naan, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food came out piping hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--so much so that we didn't even stop to take pictures and just jumped straight into enjoying it! The parathas were perfectly cooked--soft on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside, and generously stuffed. The Afghani soya chaap was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor--definitely a standout dish. What really stood out was how comforting and homely the food felt. It's the kind of meal that instantly reminds you of home-cooked North Indian food, made with care and love. The service is quick, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. They do have a small dine-in setup, but I personally opted for takeout. Yelp said this place is open till midnight but I wasn't taking any chances driving from Hayward, so I called their number and they confirmed that they are open till midnight, all days! The truck is parked on a 7-11 parking lot on S. Abbot. They have two tables and 4 chairs for people wanting to sit there and eat. We ordered an Achari chaap ( soya protein) and a Rumali roti for my husband. For myself I got their tandoori chicken which came with 2 drumsticks and two thighs. The chicken itself was juicy and definitely well marinated. The achari chaap was a bit tangy for my husband's liking but had great taste and flavor if you ask me. The Rumali roti was soft and fresh. We also had chai which was creamy and hot! Food came out quite fast even though they had said it would take 15 mins. A couple things that stood out were the portions, which were plentiful and the prices which are very reasonable. Sunny the person at the window was super nice and patient taking our order and didn't mind husband and I going back and forth over what we wanted to eat. Hubs wants to go back and try their chole bhature, and I want to try their chaat items next time.

However, we were told that bhaturas (and anything fried) aren't available after 10 PM, which was really disappointing. We were instead offered chole kulche, and since we didn't have many late-night options, we agreed. We were told the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, but when we arrived, the food already felt cold, like it had been sitting out for a while. It got worse when we reached home--the kulchas were burnt, making the meal quite unpleasant. After a long day of travel, this was the last thing we expected. We were too tired to go back, but honestly, this was not acceptable. If you're advertising late hours, the quality and availability should match. This experience was really disappointing.

Eat On Monday started doing pop up dinner options. This past wknd, we saw that they were doing Garlic Shrimp Hawaiian style and a Curry Tonkatsu plate as well as offering up roscoes ice cream tacos. We got 4 Garlic Shrimp orders and 1 Curry Tonkatsu and 4 ice cream tacos to try. The Curry Tonkatsu was bomb. The Japanese influence Curry was good with the rice and a perfect pairing to the crispy tonkatsu cutlet. I wished I had ordered more servings of this over the Garlic shrimp. The Garlic Shrimp was good but a tad too dry. We needed a garlic sauce to compliment the garlic rice. There was a bit too much raw chopped garlic mixed vs sautéed chopped garlic. Hopefully they make the adjustment. Kids loved the roscoes ice cream tacos for $5 each. We wanted more of the Youngsters (cookies and cream) but it only allowed us to order 1 as it was probably the last one in stock. If you aren't sure what to have for dinner, this was an option for Fri/Sat for us. I think they offer it up via doordash etc as well. They also debated a Thursday night addition when I was picking up our food. Try them out. Good portions.
