I've been coming to Snowtime for a couple of years, and it's still one of my favorite dessert spots whenever I'm in the Campbell area. They have an impressive variety of drinks and desserts, and I especially love that their snow/bingsu comes in three different sizes (small, medium, large), making it perfect whether you're treating yourself or sharing with friends. On my latest visit, I tried the Banana Matcha drink, and the flavor was delicious. The banana layer on the bottom is a nice touch and you can clearly taste both the matcha and banana. My only note is that I wish the layer on top was a bit thicker for a creamier texture. Even so, the quality and consistency keep me coming back. Absolutely loved the Tira-Miss-you here. It's my go-to flavor, the snow is done perfectly, and the sweetness is just the right amount. The mini Taiyaki were amazing too. Tried the pesto cheese, blueberry cream cheese custard, and Nutella flavors, crispy, salty, and sweet, very flavorful. We had like 6-7 of those and still wanted more. The place has nice interiors, good spot to hang out with friends or family after a meal. Service can be better, a bit slow at times, but nothing too bad. Highly recommended! read more

The A/C was blasting so it was a bit cold eating our soft serve but it's better than being hot! The taro soft serve was good, a little more tart than I'm used to but good! Tried this place for the first time and everything we got was really good! We got the specialty snow in these flavors: call me mango, berry mochi and the black sesame. The snow is super fine and the toppings and syrup are not overly sweet but had a lot of flavor. The fruits are fresh and tasty. We also got the taiyaki and the texture is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. My favorite one was the savory pesto cheese. The saltiness of the cheese went really well with the light sweetness of the waffle batter. The blueberry cream cheese is my second favorite. Again, it's flavorful without being too sweet. This is one of the best Bing su Korean shaved ice places in the area. (My other favorite is Sul and Beans in Cupertino). The fruit is fresh and sweet and they include a lot of it. We tried the Sweet Sunset (strawberry and mango) snow and the Biscoff Cheesecake snow in the small size (~$11 each) which was a perfect amount to share between 2 people. Each came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and condensed milk on top. Both were tasty and not too sweet, but the Biscoff Cheesecake one was definitely my favorite as someone with a sweet tooth. Would've loved to try the Dubai chocolate and strawberry snow! I love snowtime!! I've tried several different snows here and they're all so delicious. Most recently I tried the biscoff cheesecake and it was amazing! It's very biscoff forward and kind of reminds me of cinnamon toast crunch cereal milk. Their snows can be sweet so I appreciate the complimentary water cups they provide. The taiyaki are great too!! Snowtime is so underrated! It's tucked away in Campbell, but if you're ever in the area, you need to give this spot a try! They serve a variety of drinks, taiyaki, and snow ice. The snow ice here is super soft and they do not skimp on the toppings! There is a huge variety, but my current favorite is the Strawberry Cheesecake one :) The peach lychee tea is also very refreshing. More like 3.5 I've visited this shop 3 times in 2 weeks, this review is solely for the milk tea and mini taiyaki from my visits. - Jan 30: The first experience was to try the peach tea with mini taiyaki. The drink was perfectly made, and the taiyaki was warm, great filling ratio. I love nutella, cheese, and the blueberry cream cheese inside! My friend enjoyed her strawberry milk as well! So much that I came back a couple days later with my boyfriend. - Feb 2nd: Different worker made our taiyaki, I think he overfilled it so some of them had burnt pieces due to the filling coming out and getting onto the hot grill. One of the taiyaki was tore in half so it had no filling.. and when I bit into another one, there was no filling at all (please see photo). Lastly the thai tea was ok, super milkyyyyyy though - Feb 4th: My friend wanted a drink so I got her a matcha latte and she said it was good! Our brown sugar boba was ok. Very milky but the brown sugar boba was really yummy and soft. Overall, I wanted to really like this place but it's pretty inconsistent with whoever is working! I'm leaving another review because I've come to enjoy this place more and more over time. We've tried almost all the bingsu's, the matchas, and of course the ice cream. My favorites are the ube soft serve with the custard, the strawberry or biscoff bingsu, and the strawberry matcha. Although, honestly you can't go wrong with anything here! One anecdote I felt I HAD to share from earlier today: my wife's dad tried a bingsu for the first time ever, and he rarely eats desserts, but he fell in LOVE. The bingsu was so good it opened him up to an entirely new cuisine, and for that alone this deserves 6/5 stars!! Also Sara, the owner, has to be one of the sweetest and friendliest people I've ran into when going out for food. We're very happy to run into her when she's working. I went with 2 other people, and all 3 of us got the smallest size available, and this was hilariously too much. Nobody could finish more than 2/3, which makes me think one of two things: 1. They need to create an even smaller size 2. They need to clearly explain that the smallest size serves 2 Anyway, I have zero complaints about the food or service or interior. Parking is a little tight, that's it. Cost is reasonable. I just feel bad that we collectively wasted an entire bowl of bingsu. We were craving something sweet after lunch in Santa Cruz, so we stopped here in our way back home. We really loved their Korean shaved ice (BINGSU). I ordered a small berry mochi and my husband ordered the small caramel apple. We placed our order at the front kiosk and found a place to sit. I'd say it took about 10 minutes for our order to be ready. The berry mochi was so delicious and refreshing. It came with chopped strawberries, strawberry purée, mochi's and a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the fluffy snow. The snow just melts in your mouth. What I love about this dessert is that it is not overly sweet. It sure hit the spot. My husband loved his caramel apple snow. It was chopped fresh apples, sliced almonds with graham cracker crumbs and a caramel sauce with cinnamon all on top of the snow. I tasted it and it was very good. Really good bingsoo place! The injeolmi and black sesame ones are 10/10. The small size is good for two people, and the regular size is good for 3-4 people. I'm not sure about the large size. I like that the pink soup is not too sweet and overwhelming with toppings. There was a good amount of mochi, powder, condensed milk, etc. I like that. They also layer the toppings at different level levels so that you're not left eating just shaved milk at the bottom. The taiyaki are also really good. Arguably I like it better than Somi Somi the mini ones are especially good if you want to try all the flavors. Came here with a group of five on a Sunday evening after a heavy dinner. Shaved ice seemed like a light-enough dessert after a meal like that. Bingsoo is popular nowadays, but I don't see many around Campbell, so this was a nice surprise to find on Yelp. The parking is ample and shared in a plaza with apartments and other businesses. Even though it was cold outside, the store was full. Almost every table inside was taken. The space itself was decently clean, although a bit cramped because of how crowded it was. Our group ended up sitting outside since a lot of the larger tables indoors were occupied by only one or two people. You can grab your own chairs by the bathroom if you have a big group. I liked that menu was extensive. Besides shaved ice, they also had boba, tea, ice cream, and taiyaki. We waited maybe around 10 minutes for our order. We checked out a couple of games available near the front for customers to borrow. We shared one large mango cheesecake shaved ice and one medium Biscoff shaved ice. Mango cheesecake - This was AMAZING. My first bite tasted like heaven. The flavors worked together so well and the cheesecake wasn't overly sweet. The mangoes were ripe and sweet. Biscoff shaved ice - I enjoy Biscoff in general, but this didn't compare to the mango cheesecake at all. It was too sweet and more icey/watery. Chamomile tea drink -This paired nicely with the cold desserts. It was warm and refreshing at the same time. I almost never order nor see chamomile tea on menus so this was cool. I was in the area and thought about stopping by for a sweet treat. I realized that the establishment was no longer a froyo spot but rather a one-stop shop for specialty drinks, ice cream sundaes, and Korean shaved ice. I've recently been on a bingsu kick, so I naturally gravitated to this side of the menu. Everything looked great, so it was honestly really hard to make a choice. I decided to go for fruity/creamy and went with the mango cheesecake. I thought that I was going to have leftovers and requested for a to-go cup when I ordered at the kiosk. It was so delicious that I cleaned out the cup. I can't wait to be back to try other flavors, particularly the tiramisu and coffee. When my friend and I first walked in, we were delighted by the beautiful color scheme and whimsical decor. Pretty good bingsoo and i thoroughly enjoyed it, however, I ordered it for here & it was put in a to-go container. I'm assuming that's because I got the largest size, but it makes it very awkward and difficult to eat in a container of this shape as opposed to a wide bowl like bingsoo normally comes in.
