The Table was a really big miss for me. The outside of the restaurant was very cute, and the inside had nice vibes. From the start, the waitstaff was standoffish and not very friendly. When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.
I came here because the photos looked good on yelp but honestly y'all need to come try the omelette of the day. The omelette was So fluffy like almost a French omelette? Today also was a pulled pork special for the omelette...AND IT WAS THE BEST PULLED PORK IVE EVER HAD. I'm definitely coming back.
Stopped by The Table for a lunch, first time here and was curious to check out the food. We ordered the Corn beef hash and the Fish tacos, our waitress also recommended the peach lemonade. Overall the food was good, we especially like the chunks of corn beef in the hash and the poached egg was done very well. The fish tacos were good as well, in this case the fish was fried and batter was on the thicker side but still good and crunchy, even I though prefer my fish grilled for tacos, these were pretty good. We'll have to come back and check out the dinner menu. I recommend checking out The Table for good food and it's in the very nice Willow Glen neighborhood.
The Table is a spot we keep coming back to, mostly for the outdoor seating, which is one of the best parts of the experience. Service here is consistently strong. The staff is friendly, helpful, and makes things feel easy from start to finish. The food is also very good, though it does lean a bit on the pricey side. Maybe if the portions sizes were a bit larger... On this visit, we had the lobster bisque, kale salad, scallops with risotto, and a strip steak with mashed potatoes. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. The bisque stood out, even if it could have been a little hotter. Overall, it is a reliable place for a nice dinner and sticks, especially if you sit outside on a nice evening.
I ordered the avocado crab toast with dungeness crab, miso butter, soft scrambled eggs, arugula, and trout roe. It was good, but I think the portion was on the smaller side for the price. Service was really good though. We sat outside since I had my dog with me, and the waitress brought out a water bowl for my dog without me even asking, which I thought was a really nice touch. Overall a solid spot, especially if you're sitting outside. Good service and a nice, relaxed vibe.
So glad I finally tried this place! It happened to be Happy Hour so I'll have to go back to try their normal menu but not only was our server great and super friendly but the food was delicious. I keep hearing about their burger so I'll need to try that next time. Highly recommended :)
Honestly a nice spot to grab brunch with bottomless mimosas. Staff were super friendly and even tho it was busy we were able to get quick service at the bar. Has indoor and outdoor seating so you can adapt based on the day. Would go back if not just for the bottomless mimosas
This is a great spot for brunch & bottom less mimosas. I tried their most popular dish - chicken gravy something i don't remember; it was Ok. It didn't have as much flavor as i expected, and i was told by the waiter AFTER i finished most of my plate that they "ran out" of the actual gravy that was supposed to be served with that dish??? I don't know maybe that's why it lacked flavor to me. Pancakes are delish, my partner ordered breaded fried oysters??? i personally am not a fan but my partner seemed to enjoy it. Overall, i'll probably only come here for the mimosas and pancakes next time.
What a cute place that was hustling busy but we were checked on so many times. They never let your water or your coffee get all the way empty which I greatly appreciated. We sat inside but outside seating looked lovely also. The place was definitely like an upscale breakfast place, but I was not disappointed with the food at all. We got the last monkey bread and that was a delight to have for dessert.

Straightforwardly named and equally as tasty, The Table was a great spot to start our night off before we explored the area for Christmas lights back in December. Located right across from a rooftop garage it was very convenient, and they were easily able to accommodate our table of 6. We chose to sit outdoors since we had a dog with us and they had heating lamps which kept the temperature nice and cozy. Our waitress was great, cracking jokes and taking photos of us on request. The food itself was good and came out pretty quick. We ordered the scallop risotto and their burger (real name much longer). The scallop risotto was delicious. Very creamy and hearty with the scallops having a nice flavor and chew. The burger was also pretty good, very filling as well. Honestly our whole party really liked their food, which is a big plus to us. For the lowkey and upscale vibe of this place plus the food and location, we think this is a pretty good spot. There's a lot to do around here so it's a great idea for those looking for a good date night spot with fun possibilities all around.
My friends and I came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. We made reservations and were seated upon arrival. I have gone to the Table many times, and I'm surprised I haven't made a review yet. Brunch is normally when I go, which is walk-ins only I believe. This was my first time going for dinner. Food: I shared a few different items with one of my friends. Cheese Board - This was good. For how much it was though, I wish I had more cheese. Beets - The portion was a little funny to share, but it was good. Brussel Leaves - Who can say no to crispy brussels?? I certainly cannot. Roasted Carrots - They were cooked to perfection. Ricotta Beignets - These were good. Texture is closer to donuts than to fluffy beignets. Chocolate Cake - Standard, but a good one! Service: Our server was friendly. Service was prompt as food came as they were prepared. Just as an added note, parking could be difficult in this area. There are some lots nearby, but I often park on the street and walk into the main area. TL;DR - Good food and decent service.
Hey! if you're looking for one of the best brunch spots in Willow Glen, The Table on Willow St is a must. The place is incredibly bright, welcoming, and has a great energy that perfectly matches a Sunday morning. Just a heads-up y'all it gets incredibly busy and they don't take reservations for small groups. We showed up for Sunday brunch and had a solid 40-minute wait. My advice is to get there as early as possible, or be prepared to hang out for a bit it's popular for a reason! We also got lucky on finding parking near the front. Once we were seated, the food came out and absolutely made up for the wait. We got the Roasted Bone Marrow which was rich, buttery, and cooked to perfection. A total standout on the menu. Ooh! I never had Duck Liver Mousse before and it was super smooth and savory. It's the perfect starter to share. I had to order the Eggs Benedict & Pancakes. Both were solid classics. The Benedict was fresh with a great hollandaise, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. After a night of drinking I like to grab myself a Bloody Mary, it was perfectly spiced and a great way to kick off the meal. Despite how packed the restaurant was, our service was great. The staff was attentive, checked on us frequently, and kept the drinks and food moving smoothly without feeling rushed. Even with the 30-40 minute wait, the experience was phenomenal. Great vibes, top-tier food, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back, just make sure to set my alarm a little earlier next time!

(4.5/5) Had brunch at The Table on a beautiful warm Wednesday, and the patio was definitely the highlight. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :) read more

Hey there party People Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. So glad I finally tried this place! It happened to be Happy Hour so I'll have to go back to try their normal menu but not only was our server great and super friendly but the food was delicious. I keep hearing about their burger so I'll need to try that next time. Highly recommended :) read more

Yum!!! Ordered the chicken schnitzel and chicken and biscuits. What worked: - servers are always incredibly friendly and helpful - some good non alcoholic drink options - the chicken schnitzel and biscuits were insanely good and cozy. The meat was super tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of veggies to balance it out! - the wait times are really reasonable! Each time I've been here I've either been seated right away or waited less than 10 minutes What didn't work: - I got the Salisbury steak once and was not a fan at all. The meat was chopped and not ground, resulting in a slightly chewy, weird meat-mash that I didn't finish. read more
Finally had a chance to try out The Table yesterday earlier this week when it was sprinkling out. First time I've seen this restaurant without a wait outside. Had a nice lunch here with my realtor. I enjoyed a Chicago Steak Sandwich and a side of potato wedges. The bread was very supple & pliable, meat was tasty. Wished it was cheesier and more savory. It had a ton of pickled peppers which skewed the balance. Didn't remind me of Chicago, but a decent sandwich nonetheless. Potatoes were better than the average brunch place - crisp exterior and salted simply. Not just tossed in butter & herbs. Ambiance is cute. I liked the outside seating. Our table was super wobbly though. I'd do a check before choosing one next time. Service was attentive and straightforward. I was very well hydrated throughout the meal. 3/5, decent place. I think my waitress name was Cheyenne, but she was really nice, attentive, she checked on me often, and she was like thorough and detailed if I had any questions about the dinner menu or drink menu. She often came to update me at the table when new dishes of the day we're running out or if there was no more of something. You have to appreciate that . The tableside ricotta lemon spread with the fresh baked bread was so good. I had really good cocktails and I like that they had on Monday night football and they had other sports on the other tv to keep me entertained. My food was really good. The menu is very kind of random during dinner time and it may have more options for brunch and lunch. I did did enjoy their specials for the day and they did have some good options. Some of their portions are really small so you may need to order a few things- keep that in mind and ask about the size of the dish you're ordering to be sure. Otherwise you will leave hungry. I will definitely return for more cocktails and I have to check out brunch because that menu looks really good read more
I've been to the table a few times including for bottomless mimosas and dinner. Parking can be difficult here especially on the weekends. I got an impossible burger with hash browns and it was pretty good. The burger was big. The endless orange mimosas went well with it. I've also gotten the tomato soup (of the day), bread and potato wedges. I didn't really like the potato wedges and they weren't really crispy and too bulky. The tomato soup was pretty good and it was the soup of the day that day. The bread was kinda tough and not soft. The service here is really good and attentive. read more

They seat people so close to each other. Felt like sardines in a can! Literally sat a couple directly next to us and there was other options. Even after there was many other places for them to sit. I felt like I couldn't talk at all since I'd probably be too loud for the people right next to us. (Picture to show you the space between us and couple). Prices are crazy high for such small items on a baby plate. Not worth it at all. Very overhyped and please get rid of those tables cracks all over with old food crumbs building their own ecosystem. Will not be coming here again read more
Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes, but we weren't impressed. The poached eggs were like 60 degrees extra runny. The shrimp and grits were just okay as well. We had a mocktail was potent with ginger. The other dishes looked good and the service was good! read more

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and always leave super happy and full. I love that it's literally in the heart of downtown Willow Glen so there are lots of other cute shops and restaurants around. The table changes their menus from time to time, so it's really nice to come back every now and then to try new things! All the food here are amazing. It taste delicious and super fresh. The Table is one of my top 3 restaurants to go to whether it's for a happy hour , or brunch or outside by the fire pit with my daughters . The menu is always changing with the seasons so trying a new dish every time is a must ! The service is always spectacular from the manager Rebecca always doing table touches to the servers Erica and Cheyenne . I highly recommend you try this place specifically on the weekends when they have brunch ! Their bottomless mimosas with fresh squeezed oj! I am a sucker for their chicken fried steak ! read more

I love this place, but what makes this place standout is it's great service. Great restaurant that offers freshly made "California style" food or at least, it seems like it. Food was cooked to perfection and the drinks perfectly mixed. The ambiance is that of a neighborhood restaurant which I like. This place kind of reminds me of orchard City kitchen. read more

Wandering around downtown Willow Glen, my friend and I were looking for a cute lunch spot with patio seating. We came across The Table, whose patio was bustling, and everyone's food looked delicious. We added our names to the waitlist and were told that the wait time was about 10 minutes. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of cold brews while we waited, and after about 15 minutes, we checked back in with the hostess to see if there had been any updates. The hostess told us that she'd been trying to call us and was about to give our table away because she couldn't reach anyone - it turns out that the restaurant's phone service wasn't working, so none of their calls were going through (??). Fortunately, a table for two had just opened up on the patio. Service improved once we were seated - we placed our orders and received our food within 15-20 minutes, and our waitress kept our water glasses replenished (it was quite hot outside). My friend and I both ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which had a nice crispiness to the chicken and subtle heat from the Sriracha honey glaze. The chicken was tender but on the fattier side, and I wish the sandwich was served with more of the sweet and spicy sauce. The food and drinks are definitely on the pricier side - the cold brew, while refreshing, was shockingly more expensive than some of the cocktails on the menu. While flavorful, we left feeling like something was missing from the overall experience. read more
Came on a Friday night without a reservation. The dining room was booked so we sat at the bar and got the last two seats. Thank goodness for that because it was too cold to sit outside even with the space heaters. The waiter was very cool and helpful with food suggestions. The bartenders were great too. We ordered the Sicilian chicken and chicken pot pie. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the biscuit topping on the pie was FIRE! It was the best biscuit I've ever had. The serving size was a bit small considering the price was $25+. I got an orange cream soda for $7 and happily got the can. Came by for happy hour and I gotta say I was let down. Not quite sure what the hype is on this place or why it has such good reviews bc I was not impressed. First off, I will say the staff were very polite and attentive. We were helped immediately and everything came out pretty quickly. Second, I did enjoy the drink I got, The Suns Out Buns Out. Refreshing and good ratio of flavors. However, the food was very disappointing. I shared the burger, which they claim to be the "only" burger that belongs, and it was not good. I can't quite put my finger on it but the flavor was very off putting. My partner didn't even finish his half and he NEVER wastes food. So bland and not worth it. Also the potato wedges we're too thickly cut and mostly undercooked. The dip that comes with it was bland and uneventful. I really wanted to like this place bc we'd heard such good things from friends and they have great reviews but honestly I wouldn't come back. Went for happy hour last night with my husband. Staff was friendly, and we sat outside on the patio. Not many people at the time that we went. The food was just OK. Portions are small, and a bit on the expensive side. We ordered off of the happy hour menu along with two drinks and our total came to over $70 with tip. I was looking forward to the ultimate hamburger, but now they have sliders. Outrageous. Probably will not return. Overall, the food was very underwhelming. read more
Finally got around to dining at The Table. Had heard good things from friends and was looking forward to a decent meal. Instead, we had a wonderful dining experience made extra special by our stellar server, Patty. I let her know that it was our first time dining there and she masterfully described so many of her favorites. Her passion, enthusiasm, professionalism and bright positive personality made the meal special. As far as the food was concerned all the dishes met or exceeded expectations. I've realized that I'm not a very good yelper. Too often I attack my dishes before I realize I should've taken a pic. I did that 3 times during this dinner. I withheld a 5th star for a few minor reasons: *Even though the dining room wasn't full it's pretty noisy. *As mentioned in other reviews the credit card surcharge was a surprise and off putting. I didn't realize there was a surcharge until I received the credit card slip because I missed seeing it referenced on the itemized receipt (it's there, I just didn't read the fine print) *the bread and olive oil that's served at the beginning of the meal was delicious but any additional servings are an additional charge. I realize this isn't Olive Garden but at these prices you want to charge for extra bread? I get it - the restaurant business is tough. But maybe bump your prices 2% and ditch the credit card surcharge and extra charge for bread? *the bathroom needs to be maintained better. read more

I have loved the table throughout the years but this will probably be my last time dining here. They have added a charge of 3% extra if you want to use your credit card. I get that times are hard but making the customer pay for your credit card fee is kind of ridiculous. I have actually never seen this is in any restaurant before so this came as kind of a shock. If the surcharge was going to the employees for health benefits I can see some sort of justification but charging the guest for the restaurants credit card processing fee... kind of strange. Love this spot for dinner AND brunch. We have been here for brunch a couple of times but we wanted to see what dinner would be like and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious and service by Ryan was so warm and friendly. He took care of my food allergies and made great recommendations for our drink for the evening: Santa's Nightcap (from the holiday menu) - a spiced cider with bourbon topped with candied ginger. Appetizer: Roasted Beets with goat cheese, dill, shaved fennel A bright appetizer to start off with! There was a generous serving of goat cheese spread on the plate, with several colored beets on the plate, topped with dill and shaved fennel. But what really brightened the dish was the tangerine oil that dressed the whole plate. It was a perfect compliment to the tanginess of the goat cheese and the refreshing bite of the dill. Entree 1: Pot Roast Nicely braised, tender, flavorful, and topped off with a nice horseradish sauce that gave the meat a refreshing zing. Artichoke puree was a unique and enjoyable take on mashed potatoes (what is usually paired with pot roast). The roasted vegetables on the side were perfectly done. Entree 2: Chicken potpie and Biscuits A cozy dinner option with the cold weather. It's more like a deconstructed chicken potpie where the crust is replaced with four house-made biscuit "dumplings" in the potpie sauce. The biscuits stayed nice and crumbly without getting soggy. There was plenty of juicy chicken pieces to pair with every bite of biscuit -- I never felt like the dish had too little filling, meat, or veggies. I always got a perfectly balanced bite of everything. The crowd is more "adult" than brunch, not too many families but more people on a casual date night or having a fun group dinner. That could be due to timing of dinner (about 8pm) or that we were out on a Friday night. First time checking out the dinner menu at The Table. Their brunch is very popular, and they don't take reservations for it. However, you can book their dinner service in advance. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and enjoyed them all. From the starter bread--soft and perfectly balanced with cream cheese and olive oil--to the chicken liver mousse, where the mustard fruit added a refreshing touch, and the seafood pasta with squid ink noodles, which had great texture and abundant seafood (prawn, mussel, scallops, calamari). Easily one of the most vaunted and recognized restaurants in the South Bay, both for their popularity with local foodies and that eye-catching sign on the southwest corner of DT Willow Glen's Lincoln Ave & Willow St. The Good: *Reservations available thru OpenTable and are highly recommended. *Seasonal menu *Service *Nice selection of beers on-tap and in cans, as well as a full bar with signature cocktails. They also have a massive fermented grapes collection, if that's your thing. *Were named in the 2024 Top 15 places to eat Brunch at in the South Bay by SF Eater (https://sf.eater.com/maps/best-brunch-san-jose-south-bay). *Happy Hour (Wed - Sun until 530 p.m.) w/ HH bites, as well as cocktails. *Patio dining *Great ambiance and vibe *Complimentary baguette ends was classy and delicious way to start the meal. I'm gonna start dipping my sourdough in ricotta & EVOO from now on. *We visited them on Christmas Eve and their seasonal menu featured a Prime Rib that was really delicious, as well as a fantastic cranes spinach that was superb. Was it $60 good, tho? Debatable, but at least it was tasty. *Roasted Carrot Salad was tasty and when you ate all the elements together it made for a delicious bite. My only qualm was it was a bit underdressed for my liking, but that might be a personal preference. The Meh: *Winter Citrus Cake dessert was a little underwhelming. Sure it was a pretty good poundcake, but I'm not paying $12 for a slice of "pretty good poundcake"--I want those extra calories to be #worthit *I definitely ordered my draft beer well-before the 530 HH deadline and didn't get the discounted rate. Now I could give two fucks about the $1, but it's more the principle of the situation. *Small private lot on Willow St, but you'll most likely have to find (free) street parking or park in the (also free) garage. The Ugly: *Carissa's Salmon entrée was seriously undercooked in the middle--and we're both more than OK with med-rare salmon, but this was btwn raw and just barely cooked which is pretty much no man's land tbh. We would've said something but she started at the thin end and by the time she got to the severely undercooked part she had already eaten about half, and it felt weird to ask at that point. Ww were hoping the waiter would notice when he retrieved the plate, but nope. Looking back now at the photos you could see the opaqueness of meat in the thick part, and any chef worth their salt should've noticed it before sending it out. Conclusion: Overall, the food was passable, but when one factors in the pricing it's not making a compelling case for anything above 3-stars. read more

Parking is in the end back, but I would recommend parking in the neighborhoods/residential one street behind.

Is it me, or do they NOT HAVE BACON anywhere on the brunch menu? The Traditional Breakfast has no bacon. The Only Burger also has NO BACON. No where does the menu list Side Options with bacon. IS THERE REALLY NO BACON HERE? Can I add it still?
