The Table was a really big miss for me. The outside of the restaurant was very cute, and the inside had nice vibes. From the start, the waitstaff was standoffish and not very friendly. When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.
I came here because the photos looked good on yelp but honestly y'all need to come try the omelette of the day. The omelette was So fluffy like almost a French omelette? Today also was a pulled pork special for the omelette...AND IT WAS THE BEST PULLED PORK IVE EVER HAD. I'm definitely coming back.
Stopped by The Table for a lunch, first time here and was curious to check out the food. We ordered the Corn beef hash and the Fish tacos, our waitress also recommended the peach lemonade. Overall the food was good, we especially like the chunks of corn beef in the hash and the poached egg was done very well. The fish tacos were good as well, in this case the fish was fried and batter was on the thicker side but still good and crunchy, even I though prefer my fish grilled for tacos, these were pretty good. We'll have to come back and check out the dinner menu. I recommend checking out The Table for good food and it's in the very nice Willow Glen neighborhood.
The Table is a spot we keep coming back to, mostly for the outdoor seating, which is one of the best parts of the experience. Service here is consistently strong. The staff is friendly, helpful, and makes things feel easy from start to finish. The food is also very good, though it does lean a bit on the pricey side. Maybe if the portions sizes were a bit larger... On this visit, we had the lobster bisque, kale salad, scallops with risotto, and a strip steak with mashed potatoes. Everything was well prepared and flavorful. The bisque stood out, even if it could have been a little hotter. Overall, it is a reliable place for a nice dinner and sticks, especially if you sit outside on a nice evening.
I ordered the avocado crab toast with dungeness crab, miso butter, soft scrambled eggs, arugula, and trout roe. It was good, but I think the portion was on the smaller side for the price. Service was really good though. We sat outside since I had my dog with me, and the waitress brought out a water bowl for my dog without me even asking, which I thought was a really nice touch. Overall a solid spot, especially if you're sitting outside. Good service and a nice, relaxed vibe.
So glad I finally tried this place! It happened to be Happy Hour so I'll have to go back to try their normal menu but not only was our server great and super friendly but the food was delicious. I keep hearing about their burger so I'll need to try that next time. Highly recommended :)
Honestly a nice spot to grab brunch with bottomless mimosas. Staff were super friendly and even tho it was busy we were able to get quick service at the bar. Has indoor and outdoor seating so you can adapt based on the day. Would go back if not just for the bottomless mimosas
This is a great spot for brunch & bottom less mimosas. I tried their most popular dish - chicken gravy something i don't remember; it was Ok. It didn't have as much flavor as i expected, and i was told by the waiter AFTER i finished most of my plate that they "ran out" of the actual gravy that was supposed to be served with that dish??? I don't know maybe that's why it lacked flavor to me. Pancakes are delish, my partner ordered breaded fried oysters??? i personally am not a fan but my partner seemed to enjoy it. Overall, i'll probably only come here for the mimosas and pancakes next time.
What a cute place that was hustling busy but we were checked on so many times. They never let your water or your coffee get all the way empty which I greatly appreciated. We sat inside but outside seating looked lovely also. The place was definitely like an upscale breakfast place, but I was not disappointed with the food at all. We got the last monkey bread and that was a delight to have for dessert.
My husband loved the fried chicken and gravy, but my meal fell flat. It lacked in flavor and I couldn't eat more than half of it. I've been to the Table across the years and have enjoyed how accommodating it is for large groups, but this last visit was disappointing.
Straightforwardly named and equally as tasty, The Table was a great spot to start our night off before we explored the area for Christmas lights back in December. Located right across from a rooftop garage it was very convenient, and they were easily able to accommodate our table of 6. We chose to sit outdoors since we had a dog with us and they had heating lamps which kept the temperature nice and cozy. Our waitress was great, cracking jokes and taking photos of us on request. The food itself was good and came out pretty quick. We ordered the scallop risotto and their burger (real name much longer). The scallop risotto was delicious. Very creamy and hearty with the scallops having a nice flavor and chew. The burger was also pretty good, very filling as well. Honestly our whole party really liked their food, which is a big plus to us. For the lowkey and upscale vibe of this place plus the food and location, we think this is a pretty good spot. There's a lot to do around here so it's a great idea for those looking for a good date night spot with fun possibilities all around.
My friends and I came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. We made reservations and were seated upon arrival. I have gone to the Table many times, and I'm surprised I haven't made a review yet. Brunch is normally when I go, which is walk-ins only I believe. This was my first time going for dinner. Food: I shared a few different items with one of my friends. Cheese Board - This was good. For how much it was though, I wish I had more cheese. Beets - The portion was a little funny to share, but it was good. Brussel Leaves - Who can say no to crispy brussels?? I certainly cannot. Roasted Carrots - They were cooked to perfection. Ricotta Beignets - These were good. Texture is closer to donuts than to fluffy beignets. Chocolate Cake - Standard, but a good one! Service: Our server was friendly. Service was prompt as food came as they were prepared. Just as an added note, parking could be difficult in this area. There are some lots nearby, but I often park on the street and walk into the main area. TL;DR - Good food and decent service.
Hey! if you're looking for one of the best brunch spots in Willow Glen, The Table on Willow St is a must. The place is incredibly bright, welcoming, and has a great energy that perfectly matches a Sunday morning. Just a heads-up y'all it gets incredibly busy and they don't take reservations for small groups. We showed up for Sunday brunch and had a solid 40-minute wait. My advice is to get there as early as possible, or be prepared to hang out for a bit it's popular for a reason! We also got lucky on finding parking near the front. Once we were seated, the food came out and absolutely made up for the wait. We got the Roasted Bone Marrow which was rich, buttery, and cooked to perfection. A total standout on the menu. Ooh! I never had Duck Liver Mousse before and it was super smooth and savory. It's the perfect starter to share. I had to order the Eggs Benedict & Pancakes. Both were solid classics. The Benedict was fresh with a great hollandaise, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. After a night of drinking I like to grab myself a Bloody Mary, it was perfectly spiced and a great way to kick off the meal. Despite how packed the restaurant was, our service was great. The staff was attentive, checked on us frequently, and kept the drinks and food moving smoothly without feeling rushed. Even with the 30-40 minute wait, the experience was phenomenal. Great vibes, top-tier food, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back, just make sure to set my alarm a little earlier next time!

We were excited to check out The Table as we have tried several restaurants in downtown Willow Glen but not The Table. It's always so busy and have friends who rave about it. We decided to make a reservation for Christmas Eve so that we could do our annual Willow Glen Holiday Lights. When we arrived at 5, we got seated at a table right by the door and right by the hostess stand. The dining room was almost empty. The couple before us did not have a reservation but somehow were able to get the best table in the room. 4 person table right in a private corner. We, who had made reservations a week in advance, were seated in a two person shitty spot that had everyone either walking past our table or standing by us. Our waiter was great. We had no problems with service. And the ambiance was nice. The pacing of our food was perfect. The bread with the whipped ricotta was very good. Why don't we always have whipped ricotta instead of butter? The ricotta needed some salt though. The carrot salad was kind of underwhelming to me. If you got everything on one bite, it was tasty. But I was disappointed. I was going to get the bolognese as my friend recommended but they mentioned salmon as a special and I can't say no to salmon. When it arrived, I first thought the salmon was cooked well. I noticed the skin wasn't really crispy but I started eating it. It had no flavor but the texture was okay. The soubise was odd--very sweet. As I ate the salmon, I started realizing it wasn't cooked--basically raw. But at that point, I had eaten more than half of the salmon so I didn't want to complain. I was hoping the waiter would notice when he picked up my plate but I guess not. Overall, I was unimpressed with The Table. I found all of the food to be very bland. I eat a lot of salmon at restaurants and I've never had one that was so undercooked that I couldn't finish it. Will we return to try their brunch menu? I doubt it. read more
When I think of brunch, I immediately think of an eggs benedict with some smoked salmon. However after looking at the menu, I was intrigued by the many options available! What we ordered: Fried Chicken Steak: (Rating: 4/5) The panko crust was absolutely crispy on the outside and the chicken was very juicy. The sauce was delicious and it tasted similar to a baked potato soup! The dish itself was stunning, however, I'd prefer the sauce on the side in the future to prevent a soggy crust. Corned Beef Hash: (Rating: 4/5) The corned beef was tender and well seasoned. The potatoes were fork tender as well which was delightful paired together with the runny egg! Tuna Sandwich: (Rating: 4/5) You could never go wrong with a classic tuna sandwich. The tuna salad itself was packed with flavor and veggies which I love. It wasn't overly creamy nor dry which is a plus! Overall, this is a wonderful spot for brunch and I would definitely dine here again! read more
Came here on a saturday for bunch with no reservations around 11 and got seated right away on the patio. Was worried we wouldn't get seated bc it's brunch on the weekend but so happy we did. Service is ok, took a bit to get our order in and for refills since we couldn't find our server half the time. Food is yummy tho! Is it worth the wait mmm yes and no, if you have friends to talk and yap it up it's totally fine but I was hungry and it felt like a bit before getting our food even with being able to chat with friends. Got the corn beef hash and it was yummy but comes with so many potatoes. Wish there was more meat too. It's a fun spot to go for brunch and def get a reservation for a bigger party. parking is tough but found spots in the back parking lot! read more

Visited The Table in Willow Glen for the first time the other day and enjoyed brunch with family. The food and drinks were flavorful and delicious. Our server Cheyenne was delightful and attentive, as were her co-workers. Overall, it was a really nice experience and we look forward to going back next time we are in the area. read more
Great, friendly service, but bland food. Visited with a friend on a Saturday night and was able to get sat immediately on the heated patio. Service all around was very friendly and hospitable. After ordering we were served warm bread with some sort of clotted cream for spread. To drink I ordered the Last Monk and the special, salmon on a bed of kale and carrots along with polenta. The drink was nice and fruity, very refreshing. The entree itself was extremely bland, the only flavor was from the white sauce coating the veggies. Note about my friends dish, the pork chop- it was served with apple sauce, but its more like warm apple chunks, not saucy at all. Location is great and there is plenty of seating for larger groups. IMO none of the dishes on the menu stood out and sound particularly interesting. read more

This restaurant is located in the heart of Willow Glen. Walking in they have a lot of seating options inside. I love their patio area weather permitting that is where I try to sit at . They have this delicious bread and butter to start with . We always get greeted with a smile . Our waiter that night was called I believe Jennifer she was super nice and attentive. We started off with some drinks they were definitely craft cocktails and very tasty . All the food we got that night was delicious. I think u can't go wrong with anything u pick . We shared some dishes and they were kind enough to spit it for us . I highly recommend this place it's definitely worth checking out . Can't wait to go back when in town . read more

My husband and I thought we would try this place for our weekly date night. We've always been curious how the food is. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered one of the "specials". It was seared ahi tuna on top of sauteed kale and a light chili oil, with a light creamy mash on the bottom. My husband ordered the Salisbury steak and potatoes. Both dishes were so delicious, we did not leave behind any crumbs! I ordered a side of the garlic noodles and they were also very tasty! Service was great! I wish I remembered our server's name. She was really nice and continuously checked on us. Ambiance is cute and great for date nights, or dinner with the girls! We're already planning to come back on Sunday for brunch read more

I went here for brunch bottomless mimosas I and ordered the Corned Beef and Hash! The Corned Beef was tender, juicy, and the 63 degree egg was a nice addition to it. This is definitely a good dish to get when you want the perfect Breakfast and Lunch type of combination. The service was great as they were very nice and always came back to us if we needed any assistance. I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as there are both indoor and outdoor seating! My table sat inside by the window but we were able to see the kitchen across from us which was nice to watch them cook. Next time I come back I will definitely ask to be seated outside! read more
I have been to this place many times and always loved there food. This time we got traditional breakfast with sausage & hash brown. Loved how they seasoned all the items on the plate. I have tried their pancakes and burgers in past and they have always maintained the food quality. I absolutely love coming back to this place. It's usually busy during weekends so be prepared to stand in line. I was able to reserve the spot this time online for a Friday brunch. Love the food and service and decor. It was clear a piece in my dish came right from the claw. The bread crust was tough to cut and chew. Arugula was more bitter than expected, though after a while I appreciated that I countered the saltiness of the trout roe (some sort of fish egg). The crab drove the price (of course) so the portions were relatively small. If I come again, I'm getting the country fried steak. Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon This was pretty good. The smoked salmon portion was pretty big. Others in our party thought the whole dish was salmon. The piece was wide but thin, though still was good portion. As expected, the salmon was salty so it was good the hashbrowns could balance it out. For the dishes we got, the value was only okay. The eggs Benedict had a great value, though skip the avocado Crab Toast and through the mist. Located in the heart of willow glenn, this place is the best for group gatherings or your next date! I think they have really good food and cocktails! We ordered bone marrow toast, ceviche, duck liver and mussels as appetizers for our group. Then individually ordered entrée. The service was great given how busy they were. read more

Dog friendly restaurant with friendly servers and good food. If you want to order for your pup, they have 3 options: puppachino, chicken or beef hamburger patty at $10, but not sure how much is the puppachino. The beef patty I think was 1/4lb? It looked hefty. The spritzer was also good and the bone marrow was also very good, but very oily. The sauce is a "deconstructed French onion soup"....but I don't remember french onion soup tasting and looking like bbq sauce. Was not expecting to be full from the bone marrow and toasted crostini. Overall though my server was super nice despite my dog being his clumsy self having spilled his water bowl. It's kinda pricey here, but it's a great place for date night or group dinner. read more
We had a great breakfast/ brunch at The Table on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away, we decided to enjoy the fall weather out on the patio. Service was very fast and friendly. I ordered the ube oat tea, which was really tasty. I skipped the whipped cream but even without, it was like drinking dessert. It really tastes like fruity pebbles/ trix. For breakfast, I ordered the crab avocado toast. Wow, really delicious. Perfectly seasoned and the roe gives the perfect amount of saltiness. A little pricey for a piece of toast but it comes with a healthy helping of crab, scrambled eggs and trout roe. My husband had one of the specials - the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken. Very filling and delicious. Will definitely be back for the lemon ricotta pancakes and to try the dessert menu. The ricotta beignets sounded delicious but we were so stuffed. read more

We ordered an extra dirty martini with extra olives and something goose beer. Though it was a bit chilly, the drinks warmed up right up. They got the best bread and butter to pair with some drinks. Bruch: Not a long wait. Steak Tartare: minced perfectly with the perfect pop of acidity from the capers. Nice grilled avocado complemented it perfectly. Eggs Benedict w/ smoked salmon: Salmon was great quality and very smoky. The 63 degree egg was delicious and custardy. The only issue is that it was hard to eat with a fork. I wish I had a heartier bread to each the soft egg and hollandaise sauce with. The atmosphere is nice, great staff. read more

Came here for a girls brunch and sat outside. Weather was perfect and we got seated right away for Sunday brunch it wasn't too busy. We ordered the specials (chicken Tinga omelette) and Avacado crab toast along with some cappuccino and it made our day! Eggs were nicely cooked, combination was amazing. Happy to come here again and bring more family and friends in the near future :) read more
A solid brunch spot with pretty reasonable prices. I went on a Sunday morning around 11 and the wait was only about 15 minutes for a party of 2. There's a small parking lot by the restaurant and a good amount of street parking. The staff here are super friendly and attentive. I ordered the chilaquiles with roasted pork and bottomless mimosas. I was surprised to hear the mimosas were only $16! As for the food, the portions were huge. The chilaquiles came with plenty of pork and two eggs, I had plenty of leftovers. The flavors here are also pretty on point, the seasonings were well balanced and pork was super tender. I would definitely come back to try other items on their menu. read more
Food was very mid and lacked flavor. The brussel sprouts was probably the best thing or even the free bread at the beginning. The service was really bad and it took a while for us to get our check, food, and even refills on our water. It was definitely on the higher class side and being so young, we had gotten our stares. Would not come back again and would recommend not going to this place unless you got a free gift card! read more

Came in for happy hour and overall was a bit disappointed. I'm not a fan of the buns they use here, it reminds me of sourdough bread. Their burger (3.5/5) was pretty light and tasted just okay. It didn't really hit the burger craving I had. The chicken sandwich (3.5/5) is good and I like it a bit more than the burger, but again because of the bun I would prefer other places. IMO happy hour is a no go for me but I'm still interested in trying their brunch menu. read more

Went here in a friday for brunch for a friends birthday. The food wasn't mind blowing but the service was. My friend had bolognese; i had steak and eggs (steak was tough af) and a lemon ricotta pancake. we had bottomless mimosas and espresso martinis and they gave her birthday benigets. All and all i would come back. i'm sure they have good options on the menu, just need to try something different read more
Came to The Table the other night for a dinner with coworkers. The service was fantastic! 5 stars ++ The food that we ordered "and there was a lot of it all came out in a timely fashion even the drinks and we must've ordered a good 30 drinks came out super fast! We ordered at least 4 appetizers.... Some kind of mild peppers, grilled tuna, meat balls and potatoes "all were excellent " 5 stars" I ordered the 9 oz steak with cubed potatoes and I believe it was Mexican ham. The steak itself I don't think was a quality cut of beef as it was chewy "at med rare" and had some big fat pieces on it as well, the flavor was excellent however "3 stars" I tried wifeys halibut, I thought it was good however there was an overpowering taste of Dijon imo 2 stars as well. I ordered a Moscow mule, they gave me a lime wedge with it on the side if the glass... um... it's supposed to be muddled at the bottom of the clash before you pour the ingredients in 2.5 stars for the Moscow Mule. I also ordered a Bailey's coffee with homemade whipping cream ""this one hit the mark" the whipping cream was outstanding and so was the drink 5 stars. Overall "imo" the service is outstanding, the appetizers are outstanding, the main dishes and drinks however are a hit and miss. 3.5 overall rating. read more
The ambiance was nice and the service was great. Sadly, the main dishes were just ok. We both decided on the two fish specials, Ono and Halibut. Presentation was nice but the dish was overcooked :(. And the corn risotto that accompanied the Ono was very soupy. The only food item that we enjoyed was the bread with the ricotta and olive oil and the zucchini cakes. Too bad the specials were not to our liking, otherwise we would have come back to try there regular item on the menu. They looked really good at the table next time us. read more
Food: The Crab Cake Benedict with 60 degree eggs was good but something was just missing the mark. There was a lot of hype with this place and I'm not exactly sure why. The presentation was nice but it was just too creamy and undercooked for me. I don't recommend the 60 degree eggs unless you prefer them undercooked. The crab cake was soft, crunchy, and tasty. The dish didn't hit the mark though. 1 and done for me but I'm glad I tried it. Ambiance: modern, country, farm to table vibes. Clean inside and out. Friendly staff that you could tell enjoyed working there. Parking: There is parking in the back of the restaurant and street parking. It was fairly easy to find parking on a Sunday morning. read more
Never have actually eaten here, but $16 bottomless mimosas seemed like a great start. Crab Avocado Toast- get a steak knife. Nothing will cut through this toast. Half of my entree went flying onto the table. There was a lot of crab, but not a lot of flavor. It becomes cold very fast. I was given my bill after one mimosa. The bill says a charge of 1.26 for credit card, but not for a digital payment. read more

TLDR food was average but service was great! My friends and I were super hangry by the time we sat down (due to non Table related reasons) so we were super ready to eat. The server was so amazingly kind and sympathetic to our mood too. We were able to order quickly and out food came out within 10-15 minutes. The drinks we ordered came out quickly too and two of us ordered coffee, which was refilled promptly. The food was good. There wasn't anything amazing about it, I would just say it's solid brunch food. I liked the texture of the hash browns too. One thing that was interesting was the duck mousse. I expected something that tasted more like liver or pate but it was very sweet and sour. When I mixed it with the balsamic that was on top it tasted better but it was just an unexpected taste for me. This is my 3rd(?) time here and I haven't been disappointed yet. read more
Came by for dinner the other night was a tasty and delightful experience. The Table is located in downtown Willow Glen with plenty of street parking around the restaurant. Dining is available indoors, or on the heated patio. Made a reservation for dinner and our table was ready upon arrival. Some of the staff wore a disposable glove and others were quite talented. Some even wore lingual braces. Staff were all super helpful and cordial. Our waitress started off by going over the changes to the menu as well as going over the daily specials. Started off with the Acme bread and it was tasty, especially with the side of olive oil, cheese, and salt dip. The tuna tataki appetizer was seared to perfection and the flavors were quite unique. Moved on to the lean cod over mushroom and asparagus risotto and it was a tasty entree. The highlight of the meal would have been the squid ink pasta with seafood, which featured huge assortment of seafood along with some pasta cooked al dente. read more

When I brunch, I want to feel like I'm digging into my comfort food; that I'm being filled with dishes that are hearty and rich. After eating here, I felt like I was still craving something more, like I didn't eat enough. ALSO, 3% fee added if you use credit card, no fee with debit. -- Virgin Bloody Mary: 10/10. Loved every part of it! Tomato juice with a kick, a twist, and more. -- Food Bone marrow: these pieces had a decent amount of meat and marrow! For $24, I feel like the price was fair. Ceviche: skip. Absolutely not worth. I had much better, more flavorful ceviche and for less. Also, 5 chips? Good enough for the minuscule amount of food we received for paying over $20 for it, but overall felt like this dish was lacking too much. Ham eggs Benedict: the sous vide eggs were a total miss for me... it was just tooooooo runny, too goopy, and it felt like I was just eating a melted puddle of raw egg. I'm not a fan of goopy, raw egg whites, and this was just mostly that. Also, kind of fun that the hole is filled with the egg, but I missed having the nice stack that the classic Benedict's have. Hash brown was really wonderfully crispy, though! Shrimp and grits: I strongly liked this dish! It is shrimp, it is grits. -- Service was incredibly slow?? My party and I showed up late to our reservation, but it still took another decent amount of time to get seated. (Enough time for one of us to stand and wait, use the bathroom, come back, and have to wait more.) Based on the tables I observed, turnaround time for clearing and setting up tables is pretty slow. Many un-bussed tables, many empty tables, but it still took us a surprising amount of time to get seated. Where is parking?
Parking is in the end back, but I would recommend parking in the neighborhoods/residential one street behind.

Absolutely! We have a kids fish and we can do a lettuce-wrap kids burger. Also happy to try anything else that we are capable of making and the little one would enjoy.

Is it me, or do they NOT HAVE BACON anywhere on the brunch menu? The Traditional Breakfast has no bacon. The Only Burger also has NO BACON. No where does the menu list Side Options with bacon. IS THERE REALLY NO BACON HERE? Can I add it still?
