This restaurant is located in the heart of Willow Glen. Walking in they have a lot of seating options inside. I love their patio area weather permitting that is where I try to sit at . They have this delicious bread and butter to start with . We always get greeted with a smile . Our waiter that night was called I believe Jennifer she was super nice and attentive. We started off with some drinks they were definitely craft cocktails and very tasty . All the food we got that night was delicious. I think u can't go wrong with anything u pick . First off the service was fantastic. Our server was Erica and she was extremely knowledgeable on the entire menu (that can change daily as the do fresh and local as much as possible. The food was very good. We had 2 starters and 3 entries for the 4 of us. It was plenty of food. Starters were Mussels and Toast (just the right amount of spice), Yellow tail crudo. The dinners were Linguini and mushrooms in a beautiful white sauce. Seared duck breast (off the hook good!) & a special meat plate that they were doing wtih ribs and sausage. This is a very well appointed restaurant and sparkling clean. The patio is lovely and has heaters. It's near the street, however, so expect traffic noise. Sunday brunch is very popular. We went early and there were many tables available. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu; but service was suprrisinly slow. I had been planning on indulging in an Eggs Benedict meal, but I learned that the egg is served in a slab of onion instead of an English muffin!!! No thanks! I went here for brunch bottomless mimosas I and ordered the Corned Beef and Hash! The Corned Beef was tender, juicy, and the 63 degree egg was a nice addition to it. This is definitely a good dish to get when you want the perfect Breakfast and Lunch type of combination. The service was great as they were very nice and always came back to us if we needed any assistance. I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as there are both indoor and outdoor seating! The sauce is a "deconstructed French onion soup"....but I don't remember french onion soup tasting and looking like bbq sauce. Was not expecting to be full from the bone marrow and toasted crostini. We had a great breakfast/ brunch at The Table on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away, we decided to enjoy the fall weather out on the patio. Service was very fast and friendly. I ordered the ube oat tea, which was really tasty. I skipped the whipped cream but even without, it was like drinking dessert. It really tastes like fruity pebbles/ trix. For breakfast, I ordered the crab avocado toast. Wow, really delicious. Perfectly seasoned and the roe gives the perfect amount of saltiness. A little pricey for a piece of toast but it comes with a healthy helping of crab, scrambled eggs and trout roe. My husband had one of the specials - the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken. Pros and cons. Pros: the server was nice and attentive. 4 stars for her. The kids ordered drinks to try; the horchata was yummy and the orange cream soda came in a cool can (with a glass of ice to pour into). Most of the flavors we very enjoyable. The scallops and ahi were really tasty! But that leads into the cons: Cons: The scallop risotto came with 3 scallops. For the price we were expecting more. The ahi bowl, while had amazing flavor, was half salad with minimal ahi. Continuing the pattern, we bought the "bread service." It came with 2 balls of a soft cheese (yum!) but only 3 small pieces of bread. Not enough bread to accommodate the amount of cheese (and the five of us had to cut the small pieces in half. We could have ordered another at that point, but then we would be paying over $10 for a bread service). The burgers were charred on the outside. Which is a preference thing. But we aren't a fan of the burnt flavor. The pot pie meat was chewy. And by our 7 pm reservation time, they were out of both beef items on the menu. Overall we give it 3 stars. A solid brunch spot with pretty reasonable prices. I went on a Sunday morning around 11 and the wait was only about 15 minutes for a party of 2. There's a small parking lot by the restaurant and a good amount of street parking. The staff here are super friendly and attentive. I ordered the chilaquiles with roasted pork and bottomless mimosas. I was surprised to hear the mimosas were only $16! As for the food, the portions were huge. The chilaquiles came with plenty of pork and two eggs, I had plenty of leftovers. Dined here with my wife and two boys (8 & 10). Overall I really liked the restaurant. We had great/friendly service, loved the atomsphere, really enjoyed having a cocktail before dinner. Also, I REALLY appreciate that they offer a kids menu- I wouldn't call this a kid's restaurant, but really enjoyed being able to take them (not sure why another WG rest. doesn't offer ANYTHING for kids...). It felt like the restaurant was run by amateurs. We had one server. He was nice but he had to look at his notes a lot. He didn't know the ingredients in the milk punch. He didn't know what was in the red blend. It took him a minute to remember what was the table white and the table red, and just pointed to the print out. I was looking for the featured cocktail menu, which per the table of contents in the drink menu (which is a big book), is supposed to be page 8. But when you flip through, there's no page 8. It goes from 7 to 9. The server explained page 8 is technically a print out that's provided to us separately, which doesn't say it's page 8. Not sure why the bar staff can't just print a new page in the menu so it's not confusing but whatever. Then he was replaced with a different server. Also nice. Not sure why we had another server but whatever. The octopus was really good. The steak tartare was oily. It needed more capers and acid to cut through. There was a thick layer of oil on our plate when we were done. The minestrone was tasty. The ceviche was good. We ordered a Pinot Noir while we were eating. Much later though, a glass of red wine was served to us. We had already finished eating. It was Cab. It was full bodied and dark (we held a light behind it). We got up from the table to speak with the bartender, who wasn't friendly. We asked for a tasting of the Pinot. Compared it with our glass and they're totally different. We asked for a glass of the Pinot and he asked where we were sitting because our waiter should be helping us. Not sure why he can't just serve us right there since, being a bartender, he has access to glasses and wine too ... but again, whatever. We sat back down. Waited. Our waiter came out with the replacement Pinot and the check. We gave our cards to split evenly. He came back and he accidentally charged another table's check to our card, which was $100 more than our check. Apparently he tapped our card with a different transaction. So management had to void that. And then run our cards. Not sure how that happens to begin with but ... whatever. So now we're waiting for the transactions to process correctly. Hopefully, we don't have any issues. 1. Chefs - Your steak tartare is imbalanced with base vs acid. Everything else was fine. 2. Bar staff - Your drink menu is too long for your front of staff to keep up with. Also, either update the table of contents or print out a legitimate page 8 because it looks unprofessional and lazy. 3. Servers - You were really inconsistent. You're really nice but also all-over-the-place. 4. Management - Most mishaps are understandable. But for the ones where you're involved, like voiding an expensive transaction, you know very well it's your responsibility to talk to the customer directly, apologize for what would be a surprising and irritating inconvenience, and offer a make good before things escalate. The server was so amazingly kind and sympathetic to our mood too. We were able to order quickly and out food came out within 10-15 minutes. The drinks we ordered came out quickly too and two of us ordered coffee, which was refilled promptly. The food was good. There wasn't anything amazing about it, I would just say it's solid brunch food. I liked the texture of the hash browns too. One thing that was interesting was the duck mousse. I expected something that tasted more like liver or pate but it was very sweet and sour. When I mixed it with the balsamic that was on top it tasted better but it was just an unexpected taste for me. The service was fantastic! 5 stars ++ The food that we ordered "and there was a lot of it all came out in a timely fashion even the drinks and we must've ordered a good 30 drinks came out super fast! We ordered at least 4 appetizers.... Some kind of mild peppers, grilled tuna, meat balls and potatoes "all were excellent " 5 stars" I ordered the 9 oz steak with cubed potatoes and I believe it was Mexican ham. The steak itself I don't think was a quality cut of beef as it was chewy "at med rare" and had some big fat pieces on it as well, the flavor was excellent however "3 stars" I tried wifeys halibut, I thought it was good however there was an overpowering taste of Dijon imo 2 stars as well. I ordered a Moscow mule, they gave me a lime wedge with it on the side if the glass... um... it's supposed to be muddled at the bottom of the clash before you pour the ingredients in 2.5 stars for the Moscow Mule. I also ordered a Bailey's coffee with homemade whipping cream ""this one hit the mark" the whipping cream was outstanding and so was the drink 5 stars. Absolutely love the table! One of my favorite go-to spots. While I always to take a picture of their burger, I have to share that it's a must try. The best pairings for the burger would have to be their French fries - I don't know how they make the outside so crunchy but the inside so soft - but I'm glad they do. Can't go wrong with a nice thick cut. I'm not the biggest fan of kale, but the kale Caesar salad is amazing here. I've had it with chicken before and I've had it with fish as well. You really cannot go wrong. The kale really gives the classic Caesar salad a nice twist, a touch of bitterness that I didn't realize I'd like but find my self comparing to other places. Their ceviche is also really great, made with rock cod. I have found that whenever I order fish here it's always really good however nothing compares to their Chilean Seabass. I'm honestly also a really big fan of their tomato soup with the twist to the grilled cheese that comes with it. Service care can be both fast and slow, so make sure you plan ahead to make reservations. They do take walk-ins but this place is so popular. It's just nice to call ahead or come in earlier, put your name on the list and take a walk down the street. This place is super casual. You can sit inside or outside. Dining is available indoors, or on the heated patio. Made a reservation for dinner and our table was ready upon arrival. Some of the staff wore a disposable glove and others were quite talented. Some even wore lingual braces. Staff were all super helpful and cordial. Our waitress started off by going over the changes to the menu as well as going over the daily specials. Started off with the Acme bread and it was tasty, especially with the side of olive oil, cheese, and salt dip. The tuna tataki appetizer was seared to perfection and the flavors were quite unique. Moved on to the lean cod over mushroom and asparagus risotto and it was a tasty entree.
