The food and drinks are what you would normally expect from a cafe - decent. I tried using my phone app to get stars and use my card on file but the WiFi was not working. The cashier smiled and said the WiFi was really bad there. I wish I ordered ahead. There isn't much seating and the tables are dirty. I used this Starbucks spot before and I was satisfied but this morning, I came back after few months and the service was terrible. It took a bit longer than usual. Understandable. But when I ordered Classic Oatmeal. The guy gave me just the oatmeal without the packets of mixed nuts and fruits and brown sugar --the whole pack. I asked for it and he told me it doesn't include anything and he was charging me extra so I said, "it's okay." I used to stop by this place for drinks and really liked it, but today I had a very bad experience. One of the staff members started making my lemon strawberry drink but did not finish it. She left it sitting there while she kept talking and laughing loudly, clearly not focusing on her work. Then she moved on to make another drink and completed that order, while mine was still left unfinished. After that, she even started making another new drink. At that point, I asked another employee why my drink was just sitting there and not finished. She said, "not yet." I then asked the staff member directly, "Why didn't you finish it? Why did you leave it there and go make another drink?" She responded with a very dismissive "NO," emphasizing it in her tone, and said that "the drink has to follow its process." Only after that did she come back, shake my drink, and pour it into the cup. By then, the ice had already melted. I asked her, "So which process is that--the one that lets the ice melt?" Instead of addressing the issue, she continued to deny any fault. I told her not to be talking so much while working, but she kept insisting that she did nothing wrong. The issue is not just the delay--it's the attitude. She left my drink unfinished, completed two other drinks, and only returned to mine after I had to speak up. Even then, she refused to acknowledge the mistake and remained dismissive instead of taking accountability. Poor Experience at Cottle Starbucks I've had two bad experiences at the Cottle Starbucks location. First time, I asked for a cup of ice when picking up a mobile order and was told to get in line just for that, which felt unnecessary. Second time, I ordered 3 cold drinks and asked for ice on the side. The drinks came with ice already in them. Instead of remaking them, the staff just dumped the ice and poured the drinks into new cups. I hope this feedback helps improve service at this location. read more

My cup of sunshine every day I absolutely love this Starbucks, & love my interactions with the staff even more!! Brooke, McKailla, Hailey, & Cynthia in particular are some of my absolute favorites, but those are just the names I know - the entire staff is wonderful. Always working hard & with a smile on their face! They go above & beyond by remembering my name, always saying hi, & asking me how I'm doing. Such a seemingly small gesture, but yet so kind & it means the world that they take the time to acknowledge me in that way, even when they're busy! I never have to wait long for my drink, & even if I do have to wait a few extra minutes, I don't mind at all because they always make my drink PERFECT and the staff has such a welcoming vibe!! another cold review for this location looking over all the other comments i see now i shouldnt have ever wasted my time coming here. All negative statements are true. No sense of customer service when customer experience should be number one for Starbucks. No sense of urgency no sense of accommodation when I chose to speak up for myself and ask for a refund there was no apology or empathy just attitude. The 2 female baristas working today around 5:45 took their sweet ass time making my drink within the 10 minutes I waited there I was the only person in the lobby to make an order other than that Seems like there was 1 person waiting there before I arrived. It took them a long time to acknowledge me and to take my order as it was and once I ordered, I had waited 10 minutes before I decided I was not going to wait any longer and have the food I already had with me getting colder while they are taking their sweet ass time making sweet cream backups on the customer handoff area and yapping with each other. When I said to the barista customers need to come first, it should not take 10 minutes to not even have my one drink i ordered started is ridiculous. She responded to me that that's not her how their system works. So apparently the customer should sit there and watch them prep for the next day as their food gets cold while they are waiting for their drinks to be made instead of the barista's helping each other out and working as a team to accommodate customers and get all drinks off the bar first. There was no drink sequencing to make multiple drinks at a time just watched her make one drink at a time slow as a sloth I did happen to hear the barista ask the girl who refunded me for help on the drinks, and the other girl declined to help her seems like Starbucks does not respond to any of the comments here anyways, so they must not give a shit about their customer experience or their reputation. So I went to this Starbucks location this morning and was flustered with anxiety once it was my turn to order. I got up to the register and asked the WONDERFUL employee for her recommendation. I believe her name was Lauren... Not only was extremely kind and understanding, but she created a drink for me that was amazing!! This is a typical Starbucks in terms of vibe and feel. I regularly come to this Starbucks before work usually around 7am. I try to do mobile order instead of actually ordering there but there isn't an option for steaming my half and half creamer so one of the employees suggested changing my name to "steamed half and half," the problem with that is when I order other drink for which I don't want steamed half and half. There are 2-3 very unpleasant people working there in the morning. It's like they have no idea that we are paying almost $4 for our coffee and we are not rushing them, we just want our drink made right so we don't have to come back or get a weird start to our day with bad coffee. I occasionally order an extra espresso shot for the days I need the extra caffeine and there have been so many times that my Americano tastes dilute like there isn't an extra shot and when I ask they say, nope that's with an extra shot... hmmm... It's hit of miss every single time wheather they get my drink right or not which is why I removed stars. If they don't want to be friendly or at least pleasant at least make my drink right. I added stars because of the one or two people that are actually nice and care about making my coffee taste good. After shopping at Lowes nearby we stopped for snacks and drinks on this uber hot California day. Came here with my mom, my hubs and son. This location is new, the inside is narrow but the shop is long (think rectangular). Inside seating is limited but they have plenty of outdoor seating. Starbucks is notoriously known for being in every single city and laughably on almost on every street haha. Feels a little weird to be reviewing Starbucks, but this place is it! Everyone that works here is really friendly. I've been here a handful of times and was always greeted. The inside is pretty small compared to other locations so I wouldn't consider this place to be a study or meeting area. It's more like a grab and go sort of place! They've never messed up any of my orders (which include mobile too!) They also have a good stock of all their pastries, snacks, and other drinks. My friends will place their orders the same time I do and I end up waiting 10 minutes longer. One time my sandwich was done within 5 minutes but I stood around waiting for my drink for another 30 minutes. For 10 minutes I saw my frap on the back counter, only needing whip cream and a lid. I watched as this lady made 4 other drinks, pausing those drinks to take other orders as customers came in, before adding whip to mine and then handing it off. By the time I got my drink in hand it was watery and even more disappointingly I wasted my entire lunch break waiting for this drink.
