I ordered 2 iced mint mojito coffees and a bacon and egg burrito . The Philz app was easy to navigate and place my order. I really like how I was able to schedule a pick up time instead of my order being made by default and just sitting on a counter waiting for my arrival. I set my pick up time for 8am and was out the door at approximately 0804 with 2 freshly made coffees and my burrito hot ! The staff was friendly and greeted me when I walked in as I asked how to pick up my items. It was my first time using a mobile app. The coffee was sweet and creamy and burrito was tasty.

Philz Coffee always hits well! I love the new seasonal drinks that come out for a limited time. Service is great although I usually mobile order so im not waiting too long. There campfire smores flavor is phenomenal.

Philz Coffee is hands down my favorite coffee spot. If I could justify it, I'd probably grab it every single day but my wallet wouldn't be too happy about that. Lately I've been rotating between the Mint Mojito, Honey Haze, and the Tiramisu, all iced. You really can't go wrong with any of them. The baristas are always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves a solid cup of coffee.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 I got a banana bread and hot cocoa, and it was a bit pricey for what it was but given you can also hang out and spend time working there it makes up for it. The music isn't too loud, I had friends take meetings here! Parking can be a bit difficult, I found street parking a block away pretty quickly however. The banana bread was yummy! Hot chocolate was a bit watery, but tastes decent. There are tables you can move around depending on your group size and outlets too. Overall a cute classic coffee place.

This is my first time trying the Oatmeal Cookie Cold Brew and no wonder it's not a menu staple and is only available for a limited time. I love the Philz signature Mint Mojito, Honey Haze and Rosé, but this drink was not it. It sounds delicious, but almost tasted like a black coffee with a splash of Oat Milk. I should've prefaced this review stating that I'm not a huge coffee fanatic so it may make sense why I wouldn't like this drink. The coffee flavor comes through strongly so if you like strong and bold coffee, this may be the drink for you. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me and makes me hesitant trying other drinks since it's $7 + tax and tip. Additionally, parking is extremely difficult in this location.

The service at this location of Philz is always amazing! This is the only location that will take the time to help you figure out what dairy free options they can customize for you. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming which is why I go out of my way to come here.

Who doesn't love themselves a nice cup of coffee especially when made right, part of the reason why we love Philz is the consistency & warm welcome we get no matter what Philz we stepped in at. As a former Starbucks barista that was one of the biggest problems we faced at the multiple locations I've worked at. Most of my companions were not really welcoming. So kudos to this particular Philz location for having a very welcoming atmosphere! Parking can be a tad bit tedious as it is located in the heart of downtown willow glen, but nonetheless we still make it a point to keep coming back lol we recommend you guys check it out yourself if you haven't done so already!

They have seasonal pumpkin spice drink :) Miss Philz coffee so much ! This location has a good assortment of pastries. They do not have the Philz bagel I get regularly in dtsj. I didn't realize the cashier didn't understand my order and that they only serve bagels with cream cheese. Clean cafe with good vibrations.

It's been over a year since the last time I was here. Same great customer service, cleanliness, and damn good coffee. i ordered the Luca's (decaf) and Tesora, Philz Way which is medium sweetness. *** they have a seasonal "Winter bliss" holiday spice drink on the menu now too!***

Philz is located right on Lincoln, close to Susiecakes. Stopped in for coffee before meeting a friend for dinner. Friendly service. You could tell the barista enjoyed his job. There is inside seating and it's very quiet and relaxing inside. I ordered the Honey Haze: Philtered Soul Cold Brew with Honey and Oat Milk. He asked, "the preferred way is creamy." I said sure. I enjoyed it.

    Iced & HOT! All yummy!!!

I always love coming here! Philz is my favorite coffee places to go too! This location is great since it's in downtown Willow Glen. There's a bunch of places to eat, shop and craft things. There's staff here are always welcoming and there to help if you're having a hard time to decide what drink you want. Love going here!

I'm thinking about bringing my laptop to do work here, are there outlets?

Yes there are outlets and WiFi

I know Philz recently changed their business hours to close earlier. Is there a reason behind that change? Is there a plan to have later hours once school (college) is back in session?

I'm not 100%, but that sounds about right. According to their IG (@philzsj) they stated that those are their "summer hours," which implies that their hours will change again in the fall (i.e., school time).…

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. This has been a known ongoing issue for a number of years and has never been addressed Please, for the love of God get better tops that don't leak. The place doesn't need another remodel it needs better tops that actually work. It's not hard. Just find a better supplier that has cup tops that actually work. I don't like using straws because it backwashes the drink. And I don't like cleaning stains off of my shirts every single time I go to get a coffee from academic. With some coffees a second cup will give me a stomach ache (especially since I drink my cold brews black and bitter like my soul), but I had no problems with their cold brews! I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. Husband got a cappuccino and a strawberry mini pie and was extremely pleased with his order. The service is friendly, but some things may have been new on the day we went. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. The decor is a clean and modern/trendy industrial style, which works well for the space, and the windows provide nice daylight. Overall, a good coffee shop and I am really happy to see vegan pastry options! My husband is getting into pinball, which was part of the motivation to come out and try Chromatic, so I am sure we'll be back again next time he wants to hit up Slingshot (in the same building), and I look forward to the coffee and treats!

The seating area is quite limited for the large crowd it attracts, making the atmosphere inside feel a bit chaotic at peak times. Fortunately, the baristas are super polite and work fast, keeping the long lines moving efficiently. The coffee menu and the retail bean selection are both impressive. I decided to try a dulce de leche coffee. While I was expecting a strong caramel profile of dulce de leche, the flavor turned out to be fairly subtle rather than prominent. It added a significant sweetness, but without knowing the order beforehand, identifying the exact flavor would have been tough. That said, the coffee itself was still refreshing The high quality of the coffee bean really shone through, delivering a rich aroma and the ideal caffeine kick for a breezy morning. Great coffee beans and fast service make it worth dropping in, even if the indoor seating situation is a bit tight.

Shared the birria burrito and the nutella french toast (swap the bananas for strawberries, since our friend was allergic to bananas) and it was delicious. The burrito was a good size and it came with their house cilantro sauce and a spicier sauce. It is on a pricier size though for it's size at $17. It could be fatter for the price range.
