Get a brownie. Thank me later. Venture Coffee was a bit of a surprise hit for me for a few reasons. I wasn't expecting it to be part of a church, and I certainly wasn't expecting the entire area to be under construction when I arrived haha. Although it was a little tricky to find the entrance due to that construction, it most certainly was worth it. The latte iced latte I ordered was delicious, the space was beautiful, the seating was ample, and the biggest surprise of the whole experience... the brownie might be one of the best I've eaten in my life. Venture Coffee is truly a hidden gem. I came across it because of its high rating on Too Good To Go. While picking up a TGTG bag yesterday, I ordered a matcha latte as well. The coffee shop was located at the front of a church, in a very quiet part of Los Gatos. I arrived a little after 2pm, and followed the instructions to park at one of the 5 First Time Guest Parking spots. There were plenty of other parking spaces as well. The signs to the coffee shop up the stairs were very clear. The inside of the coffee shop was bright, clean, and spacious with a cool and peaceful vibe. Service was friendly. While the tables of the banquette seating along one wall were all taken, there were plenty of other tables and chairs available. My matcha was very pretty and tasted legit. The fancy pastries (some savory/some sweet) from Neighbor Bakehouse in San Francisco all looked beautiful and yummy. The ones I tried were all delicious. The selections were limited, but you didn't have to go all the way to SF to get them. This would be a great place to have a nice cup of coffee while getting some work/study done, too. read more

I finally found the time to come check this place I out and I'm so glad I did! Super nice staff, plenty of parking and the area is so relaxing. Plenty of space and for a change really comfortable sits so you can actively work for a couple of hours comfortably. Note their opening hours as they're owned by the church next door. Venture coffee is in the venture church complex but it's a coffee shop available to everyone! Lots of room for working including indoor and outdoor seating space, I'll definitely be coming here more often, in the mornings since they close early. I ordered an iced oat latte here which was amazing and came with big ice cubes which didn't water down the drink and an Ube croissant that was bright purple on the inside but tbh tasted like a coconut topped cream cheese croissant in my opinion - still good though! Can't wait to come by again to try more of their seasonal stuff. read more

I just had to write a review for my new favorite coffee and zen space in one. ;) Venture is my local church and I am so happy to support them in a new way with my coffee addiction. ;) This coffee spot is in located in front of the church for anyone that hasn't been to Venture. The interior is beautiful with plants and a very clean, modern vibe with comfy chairs. My kids attended Adventure Camp this week and as a treat they gave the parents a free coffee Tuesday and Wednesday. (Yay)! I had a vanilla cold brew with oat milk because it was such a hot day and the flavor was amazing. I also treated myself to an ube croissant and it turned out being the ube croissant of my dreams. I almost fear writing this review because I don't want them to sell out the next time I visit, but I feel like I have to spread the food love on Yelp. Hopefully they will just order more if they start to sell out. ;) The baristas were super friendly and made all of the drinks so efficiently. My husband and I returned on Friday so I could put the coffeehouse to the real test since he is the true coffee connoisseur ;) (he has a coffee bean sourcing app). I love that Venture church opened a legit coffee shop, because they carry my favorite beans -- Saint Franks! The coffee is smooth and I love the seasonal flavors. They also carry delicious pastries! Since it's so tucked away, there's plenty of space for parking and inside the cafe. I hope the hours get extended in the future because it's hard to make it before 2:30pm sometimes. read more

Parking was challenging as they have many spots roped off, even though the construction is in another area of the property. The cafe is nice, with lots of tables and windows. Would be a great place to work from. Tried the UBE croissant and the pandan mochi muffin. The croissant, while cold (I guess they store them in a refrigerated display case) had good flavor and well executed pastry. Can really taste the Ube. The muffin was also cold, but again had a good flavor and texture (somewhat dense and chewy...signature mochi profile). Would definitely return for coffee and the atmosphere. read more

This coffee is GOOD. it's cool to have so many coffee places to choose from in the area but I hate when you pay $3-5 for a coffee and it tastes like hot water. And the aesthetic/vibes are incredible. It's very meet up with a friend/get some work done/study/enjoy coffee at a cute coffee shop friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful and service is prompt. My husband and I wanted to try a new coffee place and I've had this place bookmarked for awhile. We came here on a weekday morning and realized it was a part of a church. There a fairly good amount of parking because of this and there were a good number of people seated inside. It's a cozy cafe and the people are friendly. I wanted to try the yuzu matcha tonic without the matcha and they actually discounted the matcha from the drink which I wasn't expecting. We also got the pistachio croissant and the ube one. Best Moscato iced latte I've ever had....and it was decaf which is truly an art in itself! I savored every sip and felt blessed by the kind and patient service with my usual indescion as I ordered. The atmosphere is so peaceful and would be an excellent place to catch up with a friend or go over some Bible journaling time or study time. I am so excited to try their hot drinks as the weather gets cooler especially if there's a rainy day the beautiful large windows Open up to the trees surrounding the area. I really like this slightly new, hidden and out the way cafe. They serve Saint Frank Coffee! The BEST IMO. It's been here for a few months now. I've visited them about 4 times and their drinks NEVER disappoint. Unfortunately, this past weekend my order was made incorrectly. I ordered an iced Gingerbread Latte but somehow got a hot GL. I quickly mentioned after they called my name, but while the barista was preparing my drink and chatting with a customer, I just hoped it wasn't my coffee since I noticed it was a hot latte. I didn't want to interrupt the process especially because it was made pretty quickly and the customer was speaking to staff standing right in front of pick up counter area. I waited to make sure it was my drink, because I also did not want to be rude about it by assuming. I'm glad they were able to remake it correctly and efficiently. however, the barista was blatantly rude after that. I thanked them, but then had to ask for a straw because this cafe does not offer straws in the self-service/sugar station area. Overall, the latte is delicious and probably the best Gingerbread Latte I've ever had! I truly hope their service can improve, as I also did notice a customer come in shortly after I was ready to pay for my order, saying he never received his drink. I was trying to connect to wifi for a while since the service is bad in this area. I was there for a good 4-6 minutes and i'm not sure when he placed his order since there was no one ahead of me when we arrived. It's usually pretty full (parking) on Sunday's. I recommend to stop by on a weekday or Saturday! I look forward to trying other seasonal items, if any. But I'll definitely be back. read more

Could this be the local craft coffee shop I've been desperately needing? This area is distinctly bereft of good coffee for some reason, and I've always had to go far elsewhere in order to get a coffee from a place that knows good coffee. Well...I think my dream is now a reality! This place feels high end the moment you step inside...the equipment is good stuff... especially if you know coffee... The pastries and food look great, but no vegan options (yet). The team here running the show are actually recognizable from other great coffee stops around the greater area, so I felt the drinks would be good, and I was not disappointed! While the menu is currently simple due to getting their feet wet, I know the team here is capable of some killer, unique flavors that I'm very excited for. Even though it's simple now, it was still on point. Service goes beyond service...it's more a conversation, which is another way the knowledge of the good coffee is put on display. So far, I've had a matcha w/oat milk (both iced and hot), straight espresso, cortado, latte w/oat milk...all great drinks. Beans are from St. Frank, which is a plus...also another favorite spot of mine. Another thing that sets this place apart though, is the locale. It's a seriously beautiful area, and the only craft coffee place I can think of with this quality of ambience. During the week, it's a tranquil, pretty little spot of nature.
